Earlier today I saw some quote goals they had set last year and how 2020 mucked them up. 2020 has been far from perfect but I have surprisingly exceeded my goals. • Last year, my New Year's resolutions focused on creating video content at least once per week (thinking of YouTube/Twitch at the time) to progress my content positively. "Expect more YouTube videos, streaming, creating and more from me! (1/2/20)". • I've networked with MANY creators from TikTok videos to charity EDH games. I've established a working relationship writing @HipstersMTG, sponsored by @ultraprointl & affiliated with @channelfireball. I stuck to my goal producing video content once/week. • Not how I imagined. I still have footage from GP Phoenix to make into a YT video, now w/diff undertone as last event attended in 2020. I got on TikTok in January before the pandemic, little did I know I would experience a whole new world of connectivity, creativity & compassion. • OH!!! And how could I almost forgot the biggest one of all~something that was on my 2018 goals way back~getting to preview my own MTG card provided by #wizardsofthecoast for Zendikar Rising, & getting another free preview card for #mtgkaldheim for 1/15/21. It's good to reflect on goals set/reached even with all the sh*t 2020 has given. I hope you accomplished things too even if a completely different path than planned.
