One headcanon for pretty much every wordgirl villain

Amazing Rope Guy's birthday is April 1st

The reason BLHG has a.. big left hand is because he has the condition Hemihyperplasia (which from what i've seen causes a part of a person's body to be larger than the other. Pls correct me if this is wrong, i am not familiar with the condition)

Brent is multilingual (since Chuck is his half brother, Brent's father spoke spanish, which inspired Brent to learn more languages)

Captain Tangent binge watches pirate movies in his spare time (E.g: Peter Pan, Treasure Island, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc)

Chuck has a video game collection that he's very proud of. It's full of older, retro games, and he also owns all the consoles to go with them.

Glen owns a body pillow, im not specifying of who. That's up for interpretation.

You know how Dr Two Brains is based on the myth that mice like cheese? In reality, mice prefer grains and berries. I'd think it would be funny if in a situation where he was forced to exclusively eat berries and grains, it'd make him ill (similar to how cheese really affects mice).

Eileen's last name is 'Rucker,' which is a German last name meaning 'thief' or 'Greedy'

Maria and Eileen are the absolute bestest of friends, with Eileen treating Maria like a little pet.

Granny May used to do ballet when she was younger, which gave her some of the agility she now has.

I couldn't think of a headcanon for Guy Rich specifically, but his brother's name is Duke.

Hal and Granny May went to the same school when they were young. They do not like each other at all.

Invisi-bill is simultaneously the worst and the best at playing Hide and Seek. He can just go invisible to hide, but is usually way too fidgety to stay in one spot permanently.

Lady Redundant Woman is a heavy sleeper. She also snores really loudly

Leslie is actually a mixed martial artist, but generally prefers Karate

Miss Power is fully capable of blinking, but is also capable of licking her eyeballs just to freak people out. She thinks its funny

Mr Big is really fond of 80s music because it reminds him of his band

Ms Question didn't realize this immediately about her powers, but she can produce electricity. If you touch her bare skin, she can accidentally shock both you and her. She can also stick magnets to herself.

Nocan.... ok im gonna be completely honest, i can't think of anything for this guy.

Reason and Rhyme have a secret handshake. Rhyme is the one who made it, and Reason messes it up everytime they try to do it

Royal Dandy calls Dave dad :) (but in a british way so probably something stupid(/j) like papa)

Seymour is insanely good at poker. He's perfectly capable of playing any version of it, but he's also really good at cheating at it. He hides cards in his sleeve and in his shirt and then swaps them out for whatever hand he has.

While it's not obvious, the Butcher likes jewelry. He doesn't wear it much, but you'll always find a ring or two and earrings in his house. (Reginald x Butcher shippers, do with this as you will)

The Coach was actually a highly successful man before trying to trick the Whammer. Most people don't realize that he went to really prestigious schools when he was younger.

The Learnerer's real name is Alfred, in reference to his voice actor

The Whammer was an actual pro-wrestler at one point, but was forced to stop because 'whams' aren't a legal move in the wrestling world.

Timmy Tim-Bo is the Coach's nephew

Tobey will play little puzzle games when not building robots (Crossword, Sudoku, etc)

Victoria Best tries to sneak into the villain convention, but usually gets caught pretty quickly.

Ok, so, three random facts about me 🤔

Because I really like history and Royal Families, I once created a family tree for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert to learn more about their children and I now know ALL of the names of their descendants. It's like they are engraved in my memory from how much research I did.

When I was a kid I wanted to be a Criminologist because of a TV show my parents and I used to watch together.

Also, when I was on second grade, I wrote a play about my country's liberator (Simon Bolivar) but refused to read it when it came time to present it in front of the whole school and the role ended up having to be filled by my teacher Ms. Ana María. I ended up being a dancer in the background in the scene where everybody waltzes around the stage 😂😂 (I was more than happy with that though)

Time to do my favourite thing when I like a franchise that has a large cast: put 'em in the Hunger Games Simulator

Now Ms. Question is gone too. I'm starting to run out of my favourite bad guys to root for. I was going to say "How did she get sucked into a hurricane when she can easily fly away on her question mark surfboard?" But that's probably the exact reason she got sucked in. She's closer to the hurricane

Huh. Well that kind of sorted itself out quickly. I thought there was going to be some giant fight, but Reason and Eileen die of arena hazards (Reason, noooooo!) and Leslie quietly went for Huggy (never thought I'd ever say this, but he kinda deserves it in this scenario for what he did to Scoops and Rhyme. Still not over that.) So that means...

Honestly not the results I was expecting, but at the same time it makes perfect sense. Good job, Leslie!

Boy, that sure was a mess. I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep now.

Ok uh... hey. Welcome to my blog! I’m Victoria, you can call me fuchsia or fuchsia-neko if you want, I also go by V sometimes.

- About My Blog and My Art -

I’m an artist, I draw mainly cartoons and comics, the occasional animatic every now-and-then. I have a lot of OCs and a couple different stories, but I draw plenty of fanart too. If you wanna find my art specifically, the tag is “veez art.”

I also love art, A LOT. Art is my life, I like to look at and study and gush about art. I reblog a lot of different art, different medias, stuff about art. I do reblog other things too, things I think are important or interesting. My favorite forms of media are cartoons, comics, and animation.

This is a safe place for LGBTQ+ people. People like MAPs or TERFs should leave and rethink their life.

I try to tag things accordingly, but if you want me to tag certain things, you can ask. I can be kind of forgetful however, so there may be one or two things that slip through the cracks.

- About Me -

I am an adult, I go by she/her. Sometimes I disappear or I don’t answer DMs (tbh right now, I kinda only answer DMs that are important or from people I already know well...). I have a tendency to lurk.

- My Tools -

My main programs for drawing are Krita, MS Paint, and Clip Studio Paint. For editing videos (like speedpaints and animatics), I use Hitfilm Express (I used to use Windows Movie Maker, but Hitfilm is a lot better). Traditional art is usually done in Fabre-Castel pens, Ohuhu and Touchnew alcoholic markers, and either sketchbook paper or bristol board (bristol board is for the big cool art pieces). Most of my digital creations are tagged with whatever program I used to make them.

- Requests? Art Trades? Commissions? -

I don’t REALLY take requests, but uh I take suggestions. It takes a while to get to them sometimes. I don’t usually do art trades unless maybe a close friend asks, or someone has made a public post asking for trades and I feel in the mood for it.

Return of the Sky Band

A spacestation was attacked and everything was stolen. The Defenders look for clues.

Who leaves that many calling cards???

It’s the Sky Band, a gang of pirates fought 80 years ago by the Phantom’s grandfather. It happened shortly before WWII. We do see flashbacks.

Diana Palmer is seen in the flashback as her plane gets kidnapped by the Sky Band.

First look at their leader, the Baroness.

We see the 25th Phantom, Diana’s fiancee and Phantom’s grandfather. We also learn that they and the Sky Band are currently in British India. The Phantom is not very popular here and is asked to leave. Rather than him being his mysterious figure, they know him to be a vigliante.

Next, they kidnap a plane that transports valuable jewels. The Phantom is also onboard.

The Phantom is surprised to see they are all women. He cannot harm them because that would break the Phantom’s code.

First closeup of the Baroness.

The Phantom wants to join them. Although the Baroness does not trust him, she lets him live and takes him prisoner.

We do see their hideout. Since she’s called the Baroness, maybe that is her family’s castle?

She gets all dressed up and visit her prisoner in the dungeons.

“What a waste of manpower...” Some very heavy flirting is going on...

Looks like he is eating her mouth rather than them kissing but ok xD

I assume some time has passed now because surely after one kiss/night spend together she would not trust him completely yet?

He does take out her bullets... which... yes she can’t hurt anyone but... 1) her soldiers still can and 2) she also can’t defend herself and might get hurt... or worse? Wouldn’t that also be against the Phantom codex?

As soon as Phantom hears the Baroness is after the MS Victoria, a cruiseliner Diana is on currently, the Phantom escapes.

He does destroy all ships but hers.

Sure, let’s jump out of a flying plane right into another plane and let the first one crash... somewhere...

Realizing shooting him isn’t doing anything, she thinks of the legend of the Ghost Who Walks that can’t die and is horrified and panics.

He tries to calm her down but she wants to get away from him and in the end, falls overboard during their struggle. He never got over it. Which makes sense because him taking out the bullets ended up in scaring her so much that she completely lost it and fell to her death. That’s harsh. You also get the sense that maybe the Phantom did have some feelings for her.

If this was 80 years ago... and she fell to her death... she must have had a kid already. Otherwise, no Kristina Graf in the future.

We do learn pretty soon the Baroness had a daughter.

Kristina only says she is the last descendant, but no further relation is given so far. So she could be the grandchild or the great-greatchild.

There was a discussion about Kristina’s age once here on tumblr. I think she does look older than the teens - she’s in her 20s at least. Maybe mid-20s? Which I guess is still young enough for the pairing Rick/Kristina somewhere in the future. She’s definitely younger than the adult Defenders.

Mandrake takes charge and leads the young Defenders into battle against members of the Sky Band. His illusions confuse and scare them (why? I mean they seems to know they’re the Defenders, so they also should know each member and what their powers are...) Anyway, Rick gets to take down the girl with the reddish-blonde hair, Jedda the brown-haired one and LJ the black girl. Also, Jedda’s skin looks really pale in comparison to everyone else, even the other white girls.

Kristina wants to avenge the Baroness.

The flashback plays again. Once would have been enough.

Here, she does actually look a bit older.

She drops the Phantom to certain death...

... but due to luck, he can escape.

That scares her so much that she is prepared to destroy the asteroid base their in, killing both him and her in the process. She also refers to her ancester as the Baroness, so we still don’t know how they’re related.

He grabs this “phone” or communication THAT HAS A CABLE from somewhere in his suit, responds to Mandrake and then while running he loses it on the floor.

NOT AGAIN. Once was enough, thank you. Fill the episode with other things, please.

Exactly 10 tigers!

He desperately calls her name and saves her from drowning.

After giving her mouth-to-mouth, he does save her life.

She gets locked up and will have to stand trial on Earth. And Phantom corrected his grandfather’s mistake.

I did enjoy the episode. Sure, that flashblack became annoying after a while but overall, the look at the Phantom’s past and seeing the 25th Phantom and Diana was nice. I also enjoyed the nod to the original - villains that think the Phantom is immortal and cannot die. I did wish for Jedda to have a bigger part in this. Not a big part but... just more reactions to her family’s past. After all, she is connected to this, too. Instead of the same flashback three times, maybe a scene between her and the Phantom talking about this would have been nice. We never learn if Kristina is the granddaughter or greatgranddaughter. We only learn she is related to both the Baroness and her daughter. And according to her last name, she seems to be german. I do hope the Phantom was on the island long enough to gain the trust of the Baroness because all of it happening without a few days would have been too fast. I always thought a nice idea would be in the Phantom actually had a affair with the Baroness and the whole things went on for months, with him secretly working for both sides, making sure prevent the pirates from doing more damage but also still having to get more answers and find out where there actual hiding spot was - or who they were working for or something like it. Maybe his cover got blown, he had to leave and they relocated. He found them again months later and then the plane scene happened. That would have been enough time to make the Baroness’ daughter also the daughter of the Phantom. Of course that wasn’t what happened in the show but I think Kristina actually being a distant relative to the Phantom line would be interesting - for both the Phantom and her. I also think with all the flashbacks this could have easily become a two-part episode. We learn very little about the new Sky Band - where do they come from all of sudden? Why are they active again? Maybe some involvement of Jedda in this, too. But I do like the episode as it is, too. Ming and Kshin do not feature at all and the other Defenders don’t have big roles either, not even Jedda. It’s mostly the Phantom and a story told through flashbacks. But it works. Unlike last episode with Audie and his robot, I wasn’t bored here at all, despite there being so many flashbacks.

I don’t like Purple/Blue Voldy’s coat as much but it’s still nice. But Grey/Blue Voldy? That coat’s amazing. I honestly want to make it. It’d be a good opportunity to practice beading.

Ugh I guess I should call them by their actual names since this episode’s lighting made their colors look different. I don’t wanna though.

Anyway, that was a fun episode! I gotta go read up on Mary Seacole now and ask why my education left her out (I assume because we’re American).
