Marrakesh's Hidden Gem
A couple captivated by the splendour of Grenada's Alhambra.
On a quest for a bargain, the couple stumbled upon the blueprints of this Andalusian architectural gem in a second-hand bookshop in London.
It took 1,300 artisans more than three full years to meticulously craft a faithful replica of the Alhambra Palace, nestled within a 4.6-hectare expanse at the heart of Marrakesh's palm grove, known as The Palmeraie.
The palace seamlessly melds with the surrounding greenery, giving the impression that it has stood there for centuries.
It upholds the opulence and treasures of Moroccan craftsmanship, showcasing Fez Zellige tiles, intricately carved cedar wood ceilings, all painstakingly shaped by the skilled hands of hundreds.
