Monstera Albo Variegata
Detail of Monstera Albo Variegata Home plant care
Very rare individually known as the pure white monstera. The best white classic variegated leaf for collectors in Malaysia! The purest white variegated ever Monstera albo variegata is a hybrid plant, not an albino plant.
Can be as indoor or outdoor plants. It’s climber plants. Monstera Albo Variegata grown in a 2″ pot A special variation of the famous Monstera deliciosa, Albo Variegata has pure white variegation on its green leaves that grow large and perforated.
A climbing philodendron-type plant, this is one of the more rare and sought-after houseplants due to its limited quantities that are now available on the market. Beautiful specimen plants, with a bit of care and attention, will thrive in the correct environment.
Monstera Albo Variegata – or variegated Swiss cheese plant – is a striking evergreen with large oval leaves and large holes. This climbing plant can get quite big, so give it plenty of room to roam or provide a moss pole to climb. Get one and see how it is to take care of a houseplant on a regular basis!
The variegation on this plant is truly one-of-a-kind, each leaf having a different pattern and distinct white and green splashes. A bright spot with no direct sunlight is best for it. Soil should be kept moist but not soaked and only water when the top layer is dry. Reduce watering during the winter months.
Essential Tools for Monstera Albo Variegata Plant Care
Houseplant potting soil
Peat and aeration stones
Water probe or moisture meter
Protective gardening gloves
Pruning shears
Watering can
Spray bottle
Drip tray
Well-draining container
All-purpose, balanced houseplant fertilizer
Monstera Albo Variegata is a great indoor house plant for beginners because of their generally easy-to-manage requirements, and the fact that you can’t really hurt them. They will thrive under moderate conditions, even in a dimly lit room. The Monstera albo variegata is an indoor plant known for its dramatic, bold leaves and its stunning white flowers. Because of their beauty and uniquely exotic look, they are great plants to have inside your home.
Monstera albo variegata is a great option for the person who wishes to have a little more space devoted to their indoor greenery. This tropical beauty adds a splash of color to any home and only needs moderate care to thrive. Although this particular plant may not be for everyone, it’s certainly worth giving a try. Do not allow your Monstera to become root bound. Give them plenty of room to grow, avoid frequent repotting, and never overwater.
The Monstera is a great beginner indoor plant due to its ability to thrive in many different conditions. It requires minimal care, but it has a nice appearance when grown in bright and humid conditions.  The standard houseplant, Monstera (Albo Variegata) is a great choice for just about anyone. This plant requires little care, looks great, and thrives in low-light conditions.
Usually, healthy vegetative growth and consistent watering are the key factors to maintaining an attractive appearance, but if you see it start to wither or begin to pinch back its new growth, withholding water can help revive it until you’re ready to maintain it again. Plants need light as well, although low light is typically enough for them to survive and thrive. This is a classic choice for any household.

Some kinda random plant update since the move! Most of the plants are doing spectacular with the higher humidity, I'll probably have an easier time with pests (thrips in particular, haven't had many problems with others). However, I just decided to throw away my spider plant because of exactly this problem 😩 it still harboured some and I'm not feeling like taking chances with that anymore. Will have to treat all the plants anyway just to make sure.
There are a few additions like a couple of really cheap Epipremnum pinnatum variegatas I found in a local hardware store, which I'm hoping to cultivate the few nicely variegated vines to make a plant with overall higher variegation than the originals. Also I found a baby Calathea zebrina, which of course had to come too, especially since all my calatheas died when I couldn't treat the last thrips problem in the old apartment (and I actually prefer the little baby ones anyway). Then I got gifted a Pilea peperomioides a while ago and I'm curious to see how that will do in my care (currently it's in thrips jail, although I think the ones I found on there were just wanderers from the spider plant directly above it). Yesterday I found a baby Philodendron White Princess for really cheap (not even 5€) and it was so pretty that I picked it up. Hopefully it'll do better than the other Philodendrons up until now 😅 but the higher humidity should help, so I think it does have a chance?
Other than that I'll probably sell a few cuttings here and there, especially since I had to/ wanted to snip a couple plants here and there either because they needed it or because I wanted to make them more bushy, so there should be a few extras some time down the road that I just don't have the space for long term. Hopefully they'll sell better than my art 🤣 which would be cool and so sad at the same time lol.
The Monstera albo finally has started to root nicely and also pushed out a new leaf already, which gives me hope it'll do well here. It did give me a good scare when the oldest leaves started getting yellow/ brown at the tips/ rims before the newest leaf came out. I still hope it's going to change it's mind about the too much white here and too much green there tendencies, though...
All in all, I'm pretty happy with how things are going currently! ❤️

Say hello to the newest addition to my plant collection.
Tumblr media
This is Nadra, she is a monsters delicious albo variegata cutting. I've wanted one of these for a long time, but could never justify spending so much on a plant, but the prices have started coming down and u had some spare money so I decided to treat myself.
I'm propagating her in a jar of damp perlite, one of my fave ways to prop, she arrived to me with an already active growth point, so it shouldn't be too long before I see some new growth.

Monstera Punctulata Modern
Buy Monstera Punctulata For Sale
Monstera punctulata (Monstera deliciosa) is a tropical rainforest plant native to southern Mexico and south Panama. It has been introduced to many tropical places, becoming a somewhat invasive species in Hawaii and Seychelles. The particular epithet comes from the Latin pungens, which means “pointed.”
This well-established plant comes in a 4.5″ nursery container with drainage. Monstera punctulata (also known as the fiddle leaf fig or Swiss cheese plant) is an attractive evergreen native to Central and South American tropical forests, making it ideal for a warm, humid environment inside your home.
Monstera plants are low-maintenance and easy to care for, and they can make a dramatic accent to any room. Prefers direct sunlight to partial shade. Depending on the conditions, water once every 7-10 days. Before watering again, make sure the soil has dried out. Fertilize your houseplants on a regular basis with a specific houseplant fertilizer, about once every 6 weeks during the warmer months when the plant is actively growing.
Monstera punctulata, sometimes known as Monstera, is a plant in the Araceae family. It’s called Monstera punctulata variegata and has a different appearance from other Monstera kinds.
It has white variegations on its leaves (this variety has some green on the leaves too). The white color is caused by a lack of chlorophyll in particular places, making for an eye-catching variant of this popular houseplant.
Monstera punctulata is an evergreen shrub with dark green foliage. Its enormous, oval-shaped leaves are densely overlapping and reach a width of 3 feet. Although it grows quickly in optimal conditions, it is also incredibly adaptable, making it simple to care for in homes or businesses. This lovely plant can grow up to 10 feet tall and would look lovely in any indoor space.
Essential Tools for Monstera Punctulata Plant Care
Houseplant potting soil
Peat and aeration stones
Water probe or moisture meter
Protective gardening gloves
Pruning shears
Watering can
Spray bottle
Drip tray
Well-draining container
All-purpose, balanced houseplant fertilizer
The Monstera Punctulata is virtually an indoor tree; the plant may grow up to 20 feet in a pot, but its practical interior height is seven to nine feet. The Monstera Punctulata thrives in humidity and indirect sunshine, so if you have a south-facing window, you should be fine.
Keep the soil slightly damp when watering, as overwatering is one of the reasons why this plant dies quickly. It’s also simple to maintain; simply removing leaves from dead plants or applying leaf shine or wood polish restores its luster.
Monstera is one of the simplest tropical plants to cultivate indoors. It features a bamboo-like brown stem and tall, glossy leaves. A Monstera can sprout two leaves at a time and can grow to be 4′ long. The plant enjoys bright indirect light and will grow under fluorescent lights, but it can also be placed near a south-facing window that receives indirect sunlight for approximately 10 hours each day.
Too much spraying or misting of the leaves can cause the surface to develop black spots, which can grow if left untreated. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings when growing Monstera, but do not let it go fully dry.

What's your favorite plant and why?😊
Oof, this is a hard question for me. I have too many.
But let's dive into some of them:
Flowering plants
Iris
Irises come in so many shapes and forms. Another reason is their German name Schwertlilie, Sword lily, because of their sword-like leaves. I don't know why I like the name so much, maybe because I like swords and knives so much, I don't know. They are native to my country, I already found two in the floodplains. I also like that they are named after the Greek goddess Iris for their colourfulness.
My favourite Iris species are Iris pumila (dark purple or lilac bloom, only 5-10 cm high, right picture) and Iris pallida 'Variegata' (pale blue with white and green leaves, left picture). Both are native to Europe and so beautiful.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Common Daisy (Bellis perennis)
They are simple but resilient. It's my birth flower and fits me so much better than my zodiac sign description. People should obsess more with their birth tree and plants than with zodiac signs. Because those descriptions are more accurate, or that's my perspective.
When I see them bloom, I know spring and my birthday aren't far away.
Camelia
I think she is one of my favourites because of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis) is the reason for my favourite hot beverage, black tea.
Camellia japonica has a mathematically perfect flower (I hate math, but I find that fact funny). So beautiful but I was not able to keep mine alive, sadly.
Tumblr media
Trees
Magnolia
Also a messenger of spring. They look like clouds if they bloom.
Oak
A tree with so many purposes and deep-rooted lore. Steadfast, dark, mysterious. A majestic tree.
Beech
My all-time favourite tree. Smooth bark, so many unappreciated species. My favourite species is the copper beech. Deep red leaves that turn copper in fall.
House Plants
Monstera
Maybe some will think this is a basic plant, but I tell you, this plant is a little shit. But I love them all. Especially Monstera deliciosa 'Variegata' and Monstera adansonii.
Fiddleleaf Fig
I fell in love with this plant because of a huge tree in my old school's greenhouse. The shape of the leaves fascinates me so much.
Dragon Tree or Dracaena
The sheer size they can get is so fascinating. And the fact that their juice is called dragon blood because if you cut some species, red juice will ooze out from the wound.
Vegetables, I know this is a weird category to have favourite plants but I have been obsessed with cultivating vegetables since I was in kindergarten.
Paprika
I wrote my first school thesis about them and I think I will write about them again. The amount of varieties is astounding. Including chilis. I love the small flower with the lilac stamen.
Tumblr media
Tomatoes
Fragrance, varieties, taste, bloom, do I need to say more? Yes, because they are pollinated by my favourite animal, the bumblebee!
Eggplant
Have you seen the flower? No wonder Europeans in the 19th century had them as houseplants.
