MOLD-BLOWN BOTTLE of  Hans van Rossum
Late 3rd century – 4th century AD | Eastern Mediterranean, probably Syria
Size↑9.7 cm | ø 5.7 cm (body) | Weight 72 g
Technique: Body blown in a mold with two vertical sections. Neck and rim free blown, handles and coil applied.
Description: Transparent olive green glass, lens-shaped body, circular in front elevation. Cylindrical neck, flaring rim folded inward. Base indented with roughly cut off profile. Mold-blown decoration on body; on front and back, two concentric raised circles surrounded by rosette and twenty raised petals; on the perimeter, two rows of graduated circles with central bosses alternating with pairs of small bosses. Two opposed angular handles applied on the shoulder, drawn up and down, folded and applied to edge of rim. Probably the glassmaker had no good sense how to divide the amount of glass he needed; one handle is wide and massive, the other small and thin. The same with the trail around the neck; starting with a big drop, continuing in a thick coil, he ended the coil ring around the neck in a hairline trail. Pontil mark.
Condition: Intact, some slightly incrustation
Remarks: The same mold-blown design of concentric circles surrounded by a rosette was already used by the glass blowers during the first century AD. An example of this early mold-blown glass vessel is part of the Borowski Collection, no. V-52 and another one was part of the Collection of Monsieur Demeulenare no. 130. The early types however have different characteristics like form of the handles and the rim. They also does not have rows of circles on the sides. An identical example, made in blue glass, was formerly part of the Sheldon Breitbart Collection. It is striking identical with this example, except the way in which the handles are folded at the top. This blue one however is dated in the first century, so there is a friction in dating this type. Author of this book however prefers a dating in the third or fourth century AD, especially because of the thickness of the glass and the way in which the handles are formed. Mold-blown flasks with vague designs of concentric circles as on this example were first blown into a two-part patterned mold and after that inflated so the design could become barely visible.
Provenance: Private collection USA
Published: Arte Primitivo New York, auction 28 October 2009 lot 300
Reference: Glass from the Ancient World, the Ray Winfield Smith Collection, no. 253, H = 14.3 cm, The Breitbart Collection of Antiquities and Ancient Glass, Sotheby’s 20 June 1990, lot 85, Christie’s Antiquities, auction 8 April 1998 lot 15, Roman Glass in The Corning Museum of Glass – Vol. II, D. INSANITY , dracule mihawk
Tumblr media

Tumblr media
death is devastating.
to know someone will never come back and that you'll never see them in person again, it's agonizing. especially when you have unfinished business with them.
it's like mold, growing the more you refuse to clean it. to clean it would mean to rid of the thought, how could you ever rid of that person you love?
how could mihawk ever get rid of you?
the only person who ever stood by him, who kept pushing towards him, who understood him.
the day you died, you took a piece of him with you. the day they lowered your casket into the ground, they lowered him as well.
it's been hurting, rotting. he needs that piece of him back.
he needs you back.
which is what leads him to the graveyard, with a shovel and an empty bottle of wine. his forehead was slick with sweat, mixing in the drops of rain pouring from the night sky. the thoughts had been plaguing his mind, spotting his vision with images of you, distorted and distraught. he needed to get rid of them, to bring you back for good.
the shovel plummeted into the ground, mud plastering itself onto his wet boots. the rain continued to pour, small puddles now surrounding him. the lightning cracked, shooting through the sky. on rainy days like these, you'd often beg mihawk to watch the rain pour. he'd always decline, but now he only wishes he could go back and sit with you all those times.
there's a pile of wet dirt growing and growing, the longer he scoops its up, growing closer to where they put your body. the shovel wasn't enough, it couldn't pull enough dirt. so, he tosses it to side, gets on his knees, and begins scratching and shoveling through the dirt with his bare hands.
dirt finds itself under his usually clean nails, but he could care less. he couldn't wait any longer. his sweetheart was only a casket away.
the rain soaked his white button up, sticking to his toned body. his hair was damp, loose strands falling over his face. nobody would believe it, that the world's greatest swordsman was on his knees, digging up his deceased lover. it was pathetic, sad, how someone as simple as you had him throwing his pride away.
his fingers felt the touch of a hard surface, his stomach dipping. there it was, the box that held the only thing he wanted. for a moment, a grin stretches across his face. it's maniacal. his eyes were blown, the once hazel orbs now full-on gold, glowing in the rainy night.
his hands grip the sides of the casket, nails digging into the wood. with all his might, he pulls over the lid, finally revealing it. you.
there you laid, eyes closed. mihawk chuckled sadly. you were as beautiful as you were the day you died. your skin was drained of color, sickly looking. he only stared at you for a moment, taking in your image. he couldn't believe it. you were finally back, in front of him. with him, right where you belonged.
a droplet of rain falls onto your face, breaking mihawk out his trance. he scrambles to grab your limp body, holding you close to his wet body. he kissed your face, lacking the warmth you once carried with your presence. mihawk spoke softly, voice slightly cracking.
"shh . . . i know it's cold, my love. we'll be back home soon, in warmth, together."
the world's greatest swordsman had lost his mind.

Sweat slid down your back, palms clammy as you stood at the door. Breathe bated, hands shaking,  doubt searing itself into your mind.
What if he didn’t want to see you? What if he didn’t open the door at all? What if he thought you had no right to be here? What if he doesn’t want you any-
Enough.
Why are you here?
Nails sinking into your palms, you let the apprehension hit you in waves. The taunts and the mocking questions your mind conjures, all the what ifs of a thousand things that never actually go wrong. You’ve learned to let it happen now, to let them rake their biting claws down the walls of your psyche over and over and over until they tire and fade into the background again.
Leave. Just turn and leave. Get off his patio, walk home.
Fear was a lovely, tempting thing. The end of the world gave you enough time to learn how to resist it, though. So you just rolled your shoulders, planted your feet and raised your fist to knock again.
You flinched when the door swung open and your knuckles fell through empty air. Snatching your hand back, you blinked against the warmth on your cheeks before peering up the scowling owner of said door who now stood against the doorframe, knuckles white against mahogany.
He looked like he’d seen a ghost.
You felt like you were watching one.
His beard was too long, jaw twitching as he took in your form through bloodshot eyes, pupils blown. A moment passed, and then two; time stretching and molding itself into the gaping pause. A throat cleared; and you couldn’t tell if it was his or if it was yours because your jaw was still slack, words still out of your grasp; the scowl on his face making your skin crawl and your hair stand on end because since when did Joel do that -oh yeah, maybe since his daughter died in his arms and he lost his wife thinking she was dead and his brother left him and then his girlfriend died saving him and this other girl he took in who doesn’t talk to him anymore and god, Sarah always said Joel had a shit poker face because his eyes always gave him away and you forgot how they always fucking felt like home and looked like it too but they were just so cold now and- and then he was moving away, opening the door wider.
A moth is a foolish, dispensable thing. One with no instinct; no self-preservation. And yet- you couldn’t shake the idea that you’d learn to love broken, charred wings too, just to revel in the beauty of the flame that burned them.
You are a foolish, dispensable thing, too.
You bit your tongue and followed him into the house.
The reek of cheap alcohol made your eyes water, blurring your vision enough for you to miss the comedically-placed empty bottle a hair’s breadth from your foot; jumping at the arm flung out to ensure you didn’t fall face-first into the pile of-were those dirty?- clothes strewn on the floor.
Dark eyes bore into yours, and your mouth went dry. He was still so goddamn big; a towering, hulking figure that looked everything like the man you’d married and did nothing alike.
Joel was neat. Joel never had things on the floor.
“What do you want?” An impatient question half-spat in your direction, disdain dripping from his voice.
Joel was gone. This was not Joel.
The flame had you now. And oh, how you loved to burn.
You stared at him.
His hand reached for you again, fingers unfurling to grip your shoulder-
and suddenly he was every man holding you down and ripping your clothes off and biting and cutting and hurting you-
and you were gasping and stepping back. Away from him.
His brows furrowed. Hand drew back, feet shuffling to the wall behind him. He was searching your face, but you weren’t there. Your eyes were glazed, breath hitching and it was his voice - the fear in his whispered y’alright, honey?; the apologetic tone of a young boy throwing a tantrum without realizing he’s pushed too far - that wrenched you back to him, back to your body.
Honey.
Joel was here. Joel was scared, too.
Another breath, and you found your voice again. “Are you alright, Joel?”
And he was sinking then - deflating, knees buckling while his back slid down the wall, head tilting to lean against it. The sheen of sweat glimmered in the soft light, hands clasped and his knees spread wide; the outline of a man who’d been carrying far too much for far too long and hadn’t found a place to put it down yet. And then he was chuckling, a low rasping sound echoing in the silence of time stood still.
When did Joel’s laugh start sounding hollow? When did yours?
“Ain’t that a question? Y’telling me you showed up here in the middle a’ the night to ask if I’m alright?” He sounded so different now. He sounded furious and exhausted, terrified and fearless, acrid and amused; the nihilism of a broken man grinning at fate when he’s gambled nothing but lost everything anyways.
Your silence incensed him; cut and stung and pricked at his skin until it reached its hands into the dark tangles of his mind and wrenched out all the words he never knew how to say to anyone else.
“No, ‘m not fuckin’ alright, baby.” A beat, and he continued. “I-I don’t know where to go anymore. The fuck am I supposed to do? Whole point a’ gettin’ to safety was so Sarah could-“ and then he’s choking under the weight of his own words, looking away.
You inched closer to his side of the room, needing to be closer to him, to feel him and hold him and take all the pain he’s cradling and hold it in your hands, just for a while. Enough for him to take a breath. Your hands nearly brushed, and   you shrunk away like he’d struck you. You ignored the look he gave you.
It’s Joel. Joel is safe. Joel would never hurt you.
You settled against the wall just within the edges of his grasp. The distance between you two opened its maw and swallowed you whole. Your voice came out as a tentative whisper, one he had to tilt his head to catch.
“Ellie got here, though. To safety.” He shifted, raised a brow.
“Y’know Ellie? ‘Part from the…introduction?” Your nod had his lips curling just barely at the edges - the ghost of a smile. An ache formed in your chest at the sight.
“Came up to me. Comes to my shop sometimes, too. Good kid.” He nodded, and settled again, silent. And then his voice was slicing through the roaring quiet, through the thoughts in your head telling you to just talk, just tell him you need to tell him you have to tell hi-
“Ellie won’t talk to me anymore. Maria don’t like me cause Tommy’s told her ‘bout some shit I did. Tommy can’t look me in the eye these days ‘imself. You-“ and he was cutting himself off with a glance in your direction, a strange anticipation souring in your stomach.
He’ll finally admit how little he cares about you. He’ll finally set himself free.
You still loved the flame. You’d love it again in a heartbeat.
Joel rubbed his face, holding his head in his hands. When he spoke, his voice was soft; mourning.
 “You’re scared of me, too.”
You stopped breathing. Shook your head, hard.
Couldn’t he see? Didn’t he know?
Before you could stop it, your hand was fisting his shirt and your eyes were darting between his, searching his face wildly; breath coming in soft pants with the fucking desperation to make him understand.
“No. ‘M never scared of you, Joel - can’t be. I-I’m scared of…of- everything now. Everyone. N-not you.”
His fingers came around your wrist, fist still bunching cotton between your fingers. Your mind jolted, but you willed your body not to.
Joel would never hurt me.
And then he pressed his forehead to yours and you forgot why you’d ever considered running, anyways.
Joel was here. Joel was safe.
“I can’t even remember why I was late to pick you up.”  Voice hoarse, breath fanning across your mouth and it took a second for his words to sink in, but when they did you wanted to shake him and slap him and yell at him until you lost your voice.
“You can’t-you can’t do that. It wasn’t your-“
“It was, though. It was. We could have been together. We could’ve had Sarah. I could’ve had you.”
And there it was. The source of the rot; the eye of this storm that he’d lost himself in. And again, you followed him like a foolish moth to the most heavenly flame.
“No.” The only word to come out of your mouth without a stutter; without a shadow of doubt or consideration or contemplation because it was all you knew to be true. Fingers trembling, you brought them up to bury them at the nape of his neck - a gesture that felt so familiar and so alien at the same time that you weren’t quite sure if you could call it deja vu or not; more like a memory so far away it felt like a dream. For a second you’re lost, back in a house that was once yours with a husband that was once yours and he’s looking at you like he was now. Like he was dying and you were the air in his lungs. Reverent. Another breath, and his eyes were closed, forehead pressing into yours like he needed to keep touching you.
Joel was here. Joel was scared, too.
“It wasn’t your fault.” Shaking his head, he opened his mouth to rebut - but you refused to let him argue, tightening your fingers in his hair. “Sarah…” Tongue refusing to form the words you knew you had to say, you didn’t realize you’d closed your eyes against the onslaught of tears until Joel was leaning in to kiss a stray drop away. Eyes snapping open, you watched him scanning your face patiently, waiting for you to find your words.
You’d forgotten how easy it was to talk to him. You didn’t think you could go without it again.
“Sarah is gone. Our baby is gone, and she didn’t deserve a fucking fraction of what she got.” A shuddered breath, his thumb brushing against your cheek; the warmth seeping into you and steadying your voice, finding your words. “But she knew, Joel, she knew that either one of us would have ripped our own fucking hearts out of our chests if it meant she could have lived. Sh-she died…” you gasped for breath, tasting salt on your tongue, “…knowing she was loved. She died in your arms, Joel. The safest place in the world. For that- for her to have that, to have you in her last breaths - I’d go through the past twelve years again for the rest of my fucking life.”
Shivering, he brought his hands up to cradle your face, tears mixing with yours and his skin melting into yours until neither of you knew where you ended and he began.
“You wouldn’t be sayin’ that if you knew the things I’ve done since then, sweetheart.” You gave him a wry smile - one that means the complete opposite of what it is; a confession and an acceptance.
“You wouldn’t be saying that if you knew the things I’ve been through since then, sweetheart.” A flash of confusion on his face, and you were pulling back and away from him, tugging the neckline of your shirt for him to see the scar- the one given to you along with a dozen others cuts and bruises and scratches that hadn’t left you for a while no matter how hard you scrubbed. The indent of teeth sinking into flesh; a bitemark as retaliation of the fight you put up, the effort you made to get away from them. It hadn’t faded. Their touch hadn’t, either.
Joel’s eyes didn’t leave the spot even when you fixed your shirt, not when you leaned back into him and cradled his face. His body locked up, spine rigid and eyes brimming with fury and lips pursing and brows furrowing and-
until he sawtooth panic on your face, the worry and apology and doubt written into the creases of your frown as if you were the one he’d ever blame. Heart thumping against his ribs, he surged forward to hold your head against his chest, pressing his lips to your forehead, peppering kisses to your hairline. You couldn’t stop the sobs wracking through your body, couldn’t stop your nails from carving crescents into his skin with need while reaching for him, chasing his touch as if it were a balm to the flaring wounds ripping open inside you once again, raw and angry now that they were brought to light again.
The two of you melted into a tangle of tears and gasps and scrambling forms, of reverent, peaceful touches and whispers.
You'd both spent years branding your grief on yourselves over and over to keep the other alive, fragmented memories unspooling a thread that would always lead you home.
His smile still managed to knock the air from your lungs.

Every time I look at Jack Staubers Opal I’m blown away by the symbolism. For context; Jack Stauber made a short film in connection to Adult Swim. The story itself follows Claire navigating her household, where we are introduced to her neglectful family. It’s a really good short!! I recommend you watch it before reading this.
Tw: Child neglect, drug abuse, Nicotine abuse, lots of fantastical elements in connection with coping
I’m not gonna beat around the bush, this short is disturbing. Amazing, but disturbing.
Claire does not lead a comfortable life. When I’m comparison to everyone else, Claire is very obviously malnourished. In the Opal house, she has a burger in front of her. You expect her to eat the burger… but she dances with it. She has no idea what you even DO with a burger, she’s never eaten one. On top of this, when Claire comes back from looking at the sign, the grandpa say she SMELLS different, implying that she stinks. The house is littered with trash and papers. Grandpa and Moms living habits exasperate the situation, we see bloodied tissues and pill bottles everywhere
On top of this, we notice Claire isn’t even a person to her family, more of a tool. During the sequence where we see Claire’s face being molded, we see how she relates to the family. She’s the Grandpas eyes. She’s the fathers face. The moms pill.
The grandpa is blind and addicted to nicotine. He often wonders why it sounds so easy to breathe??? Much like Opal, he’s trying to cope through living in a fantasy. He imagines the people on the tv love him. The tv after all, is the only thing that stays with him. It gladly enables his behavior. Claire tries not to enable him, but unltimately she is the only one taking care of him. She hands him his cigarettes, even though she tries to hide them. She’s terrified of him, but she’s the only responsible one taking care of him
The father is coping through his narcissism. He has mirrors around him constantly because he needs to be SEEN. There are a couple lines hinting that his relationship with his wife is not great. He is just a small adult that’s trying to grow. He NEEDS to be perfect. He copes by looking at his mirrors and constantly grooming himself. Whenever we think he’s reaching out for Claire, he’s actually reaching for a mirror. Claire puts up with his behavior in the hope that one day he might reach for her instead. He is the safest adult in her life, and she isn’t even truly acknowledged by him unless it’s to boost himself
The mother is an addict and drug abuser. She is extremely aware of their living situation, and she thinks of herself as a martyr. Instead of trying to fix their situation, she has succumbed to her vices. She needs Claire to be her daughter, so she can feel some control in her life. Claire is the only innocent one out of all of them, and she NEEDS Claire to be her savior. She grasps at Claire because that’s the only reason for existing. Because after all, they don’t live. They survive.
In her real house, they only see Claire for what they need. They only use Opal as a way to boost themselves up. In the other family, Opal is SEEN by the other family. They love her. Her troubles are miles away.
The family that doesn’t exist loves and sees her more then her real one.

Man's World - Part 6
Tumblr media
I finally figured out what I want to do with this story! Get ready for a real plot to form!
masterlist
It was the middle of the night for us when the flare happened.
People who were outside at the time were the ones who died right away or got an aggressive case of sun sickness. People indoors got slightly less, people on the lower floors of buildings got less, etc.
I was in my parents’ basement when the flare happened. The accompanying earthquakes jammed the door to the stairs shut. It was a few hours before I finally made it out.
In the end it was sheer dumb luck that I survived, that I didn’t get sick.
Evolution, survival of the fittest – that didn’t factor into it at all when the world ended. Just your location.
I’m sure down the road I’ll have some sort of horrific health problems, that everybody will because you don’t encounter that much radiation without some of it infecting you. But I’m still alive and healthy for now.
I don’t know about the rest of the world, though. Nobody does, since all the technology was simultaneously fried and there’s no real way to get across an ocean anymore.
Usually I try not to think about it, but the soldiers accompanying us are talking about their travels while in the military. Two of them were stationed in Japan for a while; a third was stationed in South Korea. It was the middle of a sunny day in those countries when the flare hit.
One of the men from Japan shakes his head, smiling sadly. “I’ll never have sushi like that again,” he says mournfully.
The other frowns. “It’s a fuckin’ shame.”
We’re mostly on bikes or horses. A pickup truck accompanies us to carry back anything of value we find, but August tries to minimize car usage whenever possible, so we have a single truck with us to lug back whatever valuables we find.
We all pull off to the side when we reach the neighborhood. A bunch of identical little houses on cul-de-sacs that were once full of yuppie commuters. Now it’s empty.
“Each of you will have one guard,” August says to the six of Miss Ally’s people. “You will not leave their side. You will wait for them to clear each and every room before you enter it.” He pairs them up and sends them all in different directions, telling them to return to this exact spot in two hours.
They all head off. Only August and I are left.
“I don’t have a guard,” I say once everyone is out of earshot.
August gives me a shit-eating grin. He’s my guard. Of course. He motions me toward a one-story home with a detached garage. “Come along. We’ve got things to do.”
The first house we enter has no front door. The windows have all been blown out, but the treadmill and stationary bike in the living room appear to be going strong.
August picks up a discarded magazine from the floor. “Health nuts,” he says sadly. “Not known for having full pantries.”
“You’d be surprised,” I say.
He cocks a dark eyebrow. “Oh?” He gestures toward the kitchen. “In that case, take the lead. I insist.”
Health nuts can be similar to squirrels in terms of stashing food for a rainy day. We don’t bother opening the freezer or fridge because whatever was in there was either eaten by now or has turned it into a mold jungle.
August and I work in silence, scouring the kitchen for anything that might be of use. August immediately finds a bottle of wine, which he looks over, then seems to contemplate deeply. He puts it in his pack and I have a feeling he’ll be adding it to his private collection.
I pause in the middle of ransacking a drawer full of oatmeal packets. “You really couldn’t wait until I was out of the tent to fuck somebody else?”
August doesn’t miss a beat. “I could and I did. Andie came in unannounced and uninvited,” he says, pulling out a plastic jar of protein powder. “You woke up before things got too interesting.”
I square my shoulders and return to sorting. “I take it that sort of thing happens a lot.”
“Often enough.” He shuts the cupboard and sticks the powder into his backpack. “Find anything?”
“Oatmeal packets mostly. And this.” I hold up the plastic jar of trail mix. “It’s mostly empty but –”
“We’ll bring it. We need everything.”
His choice of words gives me pause. Need, he said. But I’ve seen the supply trucks myself and we seem to have plenty of almost everything. Nobody in the camp goes hungry or lacks in basic necessities, at least not as far as I know. But I’m also not part of the inner circle.
The pantry upstairs boasts two value-sized bottles of shampoo and three bars of soap, plus about a thousand toothbrushes still in their packaging. “Jackpot.”
“I’m checking the bathroom. Start on the bedrooms when you’re done.”
My bag is brimming with floss picks and antiperspirant.
The nearest bedroom once belonged to a woman. I can tell by all the expensive - and now very expired - perfume and makeup.
“Do we need clothes?” I call over my shoulder.
“Underwear and socks,” August calls back.
I head for the dresser. I don’t love the idea of wearing someone else’s panties even if their clean but I guess beggars can’t be choosers.
There are plenty of socks, so I grab a bunch of those. As I reach back to access the underwear, my hand brushes against something else.
I grab it and pull it out and see a familiar book cover. I used to have a copy on my Kindle, not a well-worn paperback like this. But it’s the same story. I want to squeal with delight. Of course that’s when August comes in.
“Find anything good?” he asks, leaning a shoulder against the door jamb.
I reflexively hide the book behind my back which is of course a dead giveaway.
He raises a dark brow, a smirk growing on his incredible lips. “What’s that?”
I don’t reply. I know he won’t believe anything I say until he sees it for himself.
He crosses the room to stand in front of me and holds his hand. Reluctantly, I give the book over. He watches my face, reveling in the embarrassment for a moment before looking at the book in his hand.
Slowly, his smirk widens. He flips to a dog eared page and begins to read and I want to die.
“He gripped her wrists in one of his hands, pinning them against the wall above her head. With his other hand, he cupped her sex over her dress and squeezed – not enough for it to be painful, but enough to make it clear that he was in charge, and this would go exactly the way he wanted it.”
I hate him. I hate the way he reads it in that deep sexy voice and I hate the way he smirks up at me and the fact that it’s getting me going and I hate him.
He’s smirking again when he looks up at me. “Is this the sort of thing you’d like?”
“It’s just a smutty book.” I try to sound dismissive.
He turns back to the book. “Her pussy throbbed under his touch —“
“Jesus Christ, stop that!” I snatch the book out of his hands and I’m way too turned on just by the fact that he said pussy and he’s still smiling and I hate him. “You’re acting like a teenager, trying to embarrass me.”
“I’m not trying to embarrass you,” he says. “I’m trying to turn you on.” He takes a step toward me; I take a step back. “Get you wet.” Another step and I’m pressed against the dresser as he looms over me. “I have a feeling it’s working.”
I hate him.
And then he’s leaning in slowly, lowering his head as I turn mine up.
And his mouth is on my mouth, his fingers digging into my hips and I can’t breathe around the lump in my throat, the ache between my legs, that God-awful feeling in my gut that I will regret this.
But it doesn’t matter right now. Because right now all I can think about is the man pressed against me, the way his fingers are tugging at my hair enough to cause the slightest bit of pain that somehow makes me want him more.
My right mind isn’t in control – I know that – this sort of aching need is primal and weird and frankly a little scary because I’ve never felt this out of control before.
And then a shout comes from outside. “Boss!”
August pulls back enough to shout, “What?” My mouth is slightly open because I can’t get enough air through just my nose and all the while, August’s eyes are on that mouth, and I know he’s imagining everything that he could do to it and that it could do to him.
“We found some people in one of the houses. They’ve got Draven’s mark.”
That snaps us both out of our lusty haze.
Michael Draven is one of the six most powerful warlords roaming the continent. Besides August, he’s probably the scariest. Maybe even scarier, since August at least takes people in and protects them. From what I know, Draven only takes warriors and prostitutes into his group, and they’re not necessarily warriors and prostitutes by choice.
August’s soldiers have rounded up a man and a woman – a boy and a woman, more accurately. The woman is around my age but seems much older, and she glares at us hatefully enough to make me shudder.
They each have a tattoo on their forearms that identify them as Draven’s people. Some of August’s people have similar tattoos to identify them, but not all. Bearing any warlord’s mark is a gamble because people are about as likely to attack you for your allegiances as they are to show consideration for it.
“We’re not his people anymore,” the boy says. “I cut the mark. See?” He points to a few still-healing cuts slashing through the crow tattoo that marks him as one of Draven’s. It’s how his followers got the nickname crows. The girl’s mark is pristine.
August takes the man’s wrist in his hand and angles his forearm to get a better look at it. The man winces at his touch.
August drops his wrist. “And why are you no longer his people?”
“He . . . wasn’t a good guy,” the boy says slowly.
“Warlords aren’t known for being good guys,” Miss Evaline – one of Miss Ally’s people on this outing – says. “Except for the Boss.” She sounds more than a little condescending.
“I’m certainly not a good guy,” August says dismissively. He really isn’t and him saying so really shouldn't be hot but I still clench my thighs together.
After weeks of ignoring him, of keeping my legs shut and my vagina as dry as the desert, he reads one teeny tiny snippet of a bullshit Kindle Unlimited-esque romantasy in front of me and here we are.
“Give me details,” August says.
The two crows exchange a look.
“I wasn’t asking.”
“There were rumors of something going down. A merger, a trade, I’m not sure exactly what,” the woman says.
“A trade with who?”
The boy swallows. “John the Revelator.”
John the Revelator, who earned his nickname back before the world ended through apocalyptic religious and political rhetoric, is pretty freaky, too. He was somehow elected to the House of Representatives a year or so before shit hit the fan, and when it did, he knew just how to play it. His followers, now called Thoroughbreds, were ready to flock to him.
Out of the corner of my eye, I see a muscle tick in August’s jaw. He keeps his eyes on the crows when he addresses his soldiers. “Tie them up. We’re taking them back with us.”
The boy’s eyes widen in panic. “We’ll tell you anything you want to know!”
“I’m glad to hear it,” August says. “Blindfold them, too.”
***
Our little mission has been cut short. Whatever information those two people have is worth more than anything we’ll find in these houses.
I go back into the house to grab my shit. I hurriedly stuff the book into my bag and bury it under a bunch of shit. There’s no way in hell I’m leaving this thing behind.
“Still have that book?”
I jump at the sound of August’s voice; he neither notices nor cares.
“Why?” I challenge. “Gonna make me put it in the library truck?”
“Of course not,” he says. “That book is yours.”
I quirk an eyebrow because I find that difficult to believe. “Really? You want me to keep it?”
“Really,” he agrees. “In fact, I insist.”
“Why?” He can’t possibly just want me to keep it out of the goodness of his heart.
His eyes travel down to my mouth and linger there before returning to mine. “Because I know you’re going to think about me every time you read it.”
Fuck. Why am I turned on when I know he has every intention of torturing those two crows if they don’t give him what he wants?
He’ll torture the boy, at least. I heard a rumor that he doesn’t torture women – at least not physically – and I don’t know if that makes him a gentleman or a chauvinist.
***
August Walker had an unfailing ability to keep himself in check.
He was especially grateful for it at times like these, when he was simultaneously interrogating prisoners and imagining Delilah Reid pleasuring herself as she thought of him.
How did she like to pleasure herself, he wondered? Was she the sort of woman to rub frantic circles around her swollen clit, desperate for release, or would she take the time to tease herself?
Perhaps she put fingers into her tight cunt. Two at a time, he guessed, and only up to the first knuckle. He was very good and guessing the little details that brought women pleasure.
When he had her, which he inevitably would, he would start with one finger. He’d penetrate her slowly and deeply and only give her enough time to catch her breath before plunging in and out, steadily increasing his pressure and pace.
Thankfully, he stood with his back to the rest of the men in the tent, bent forward at the waist to mark the maps laid out on the tabletop. If anyone saw the impressive bulge in his pants, they assumed it was because he was in the middle of an interrogation, that his subjects; fear and his own power were what turned him on.
Not that a random, rude blue-collar twentysomething had him in knots – especially since that rude twentysomething wasn’t at the level of drop-dead gorgeous that was required for most men to withstand such high levels of bullshit.
“Where did you hear the rumors?” Sy asked the boy. He was in a wooden dining chair with arms, as was the woman. Neither of them were tied or taped down, though most of the soldiers in the room had rope or duct tape – a clear threat of what would happen should they cease cooperating.
“One of the other soldiers said he saw Draven meeting with a Thoroughbred at a stopover,” the boy said, using the nickname for John the Revelator’s followers.
One of the other soldiers in the room produced a knife and started tossing it up into the air and catching it by the blade. The boy saw and started speaking faster.
“One of them should’ve killed the other but they didn’t. They passed things back and forth; I don’t know what.”
“There’s not enough food in Draven’s camp,” the woman said, her words stumbling over the boy’s. “It’s not sustainable. Draven would only trade if he absolutely had to.”
“Is that why you left, then?” August asked without turning towards the captives. “You were hungry?”
“I left cause all Draven has to trade is women,” the woman snaps. “I’m not gonna be a whore for a bunch of white supremacists.”
Sy turned to the boy. “And you left because?”
“Because he’s in love with her,” August said dismissively. He finally turned to look at his prisoners. Judging by the look on his face, the boy had never voiced his feelings. Judging by the look on hers, the woman was fully aware of this and chose to ignore it.
“You were a whore in Draven’s camp?” August said. The woman looked him up and down, eyes briefly catching on his groin, and nodded once. “Would you like to be a whore in mine?”
The woman’s eyes went back to the bulge in his pants.
“Don’t flatter yourself,” August said. “It’s not for you.”
Lilah was probably fucking herself right this second while the rest of the camp was sleeping, he thought. She was probably doing it under the covers on her shitty cot in her shitty tent with at least ten other people in there.
Maybe some of them were awake. Maybe Lilah knew they were. Maybe she was too desperate to care.
“If I don’t want to be a whore?” the woman asked.
“Then I would hope you have something else of value to offer,” August said. “Otherwise, well . . .” He shrugged casually. “Take the night to think about it. Sy, put them somewhere secure for the night. I have other things I’d like to get done.”

Unsolicited…
You've got a really overwhelming situation. It’s a bit ancillary to my irl job (env health and industrial hygiene), so I wanted to toss some thoughts to the void to maybe make it less heavy? (Def feel free to disregard and delete)
Since the AC is too large for the house, the house will stay too humid because the AC doesn’t have time to “dry” out the air – it’ll kick on and off too quickly instead of running for awhile. I’m guessing this is also contributing to the fire hazard (power cycling of the unit). You may be able to find a company that will trade the unit for a more appropriate one, which could help recoup some of the costs for a new system, or maybe local rebates with the power utility provider if the new unit has a heat pump, or just for being smaller and consuming less energy overall (spitballing ideas)
If you have a dehumidifier (bit spendy), you can put this in affected areas to help the problem from getting worse. For an attic, you can try placing it near a central air intake or exhaust inside of the house, like near vents or the furnace, to try and catch the airflow (if you put the central air furnace to ‘recirculate’). Changing your furnace filters monthly if you don't already should also help with air quality.
Mildew will stain, like the plywood and drywall in the attic, but if it’s dry, it shouldn’t grow. You can also spray surfaces in a diluted bleach solution to help manage it. Just a small bottle of plain bleach (none of those silly laundry kinds) and a spray bottle. An N95 respirator and long sleeve shirt/pants would be a good idea if you go into the attic, but mostly for fiberglass (if you don’t have blown insulation) and potential critter dust (mouse droppings, esp if you’re in a rural area, which I assume if you have a well)
A “hot attic” will be that (hot), but it shouldn’t be “humid”. If it is, it might be worthwhile to visually check your roof or attic and make sure the PO didn’t leave you with a crappy roof and soffit venting set-up, or that the vents weren’t block by wasps, critters, etc.
Sending the best vibes I can, from one broke Millennial to another
Gotta stick together to survive in this shitty capitalist hellscape
Bless you honestly. 🙏🥺 Thank you for this advice! I'm definitely going to use the bleach solution on the mold.. it's everywhere and all into my insulation.
Exactly everything you said is what the repair guy just told me lol that's exactly why there's mold. The previous owners installed a gigantic unit for whatever unknown reason. Unfortunately the AC unit is roughly 20 years old, so I can't trade it in for anything because all the parts and coolant supplies it uses are no longer on the market/viable. We were able to measure what kind of AC unit we'd need and the smaller unit brought the cost down from $13k to...$11.6k. So, not much, but still a little. (I've been considering asking for ko-fi donations since I'm honestly and truly desperate, but I first need to wrestle the part of my brain that doesn't allow me to ask for help first lol).
Thank you, anon, for your advice on this. It truly means a lot to me that you took the time to reach out! People like you make being a poor millennial a little bit easier. Seriously, bless you.

The sun is a vibrant and stunning zenith in the sky. Its brilliance is only marred by the occasional cloud blown in by a warm wind. Slathered in shea butter, sunscreen, and lip balm, you lay there soaking up its benevolent rays. Each one permeates the delicate sheen of your protective lotions to curl around the melanin in your skin. It tickles them awake, and they stretch out in greeting like budding spring flowers. Soft shhhhs from the shore roll into your consciousness. They mold and meld with the low timbre of Megumi's voice as he reads aloud his most recent study.
You sit in a secluded alcove away from prying eyes—at Megumi’s request. Summer started with a flurry of activity: him working with the students to prepare for the Sister-School Exchange Event; and with you juggling work, family and friends, hardly any time was devoted to spending an afternoon together let alone a meal. A twinge clenches your stomach. Turning to look at Megumi. He sits on a striped plastic beach chair under the shade of a large umbrella. He wears a slightly oversized white t-shirt and a pair of lightweight joggers. You let your eyes roam over his lean frame paying attention to where they lightly stick to him with sweat. Your squint meets his low-lidded glance. A mischievous smile colors your lips.
"Can you pass me the nut meats?"
He closes his eyes. A sharp sigh steams out his nose. "Why do you keep calling them that?"
His arm hooks beneath the chair to reveal your sage green cooler bag. Long graceful fingers pull out a small plastic container. He hands it to you, and returns his attention back to his book, eyes searching for where he left off.
"That's what they’re called!" You shake the plastic container, walnuts shuffling, then turn the lid towards him. "It's what the label says Megs." He warily eyes the packaging.
"Just eat the nuts," he mutters.
You flip over to lay on your stomach, prop yourself up on your elbows, and wiggle your toes into the sand.
"Wait, pass me the peaches too, please?" Wordlessly he hands over the small glass container along with a cloth napkin. You take both busying yourself with wiping your fingers from the sand and sunscreen. "Keep reading?"
He glares at you halfheartedly, and you offer a sheepish smile as you pull out a sliver of the fresh fruit. Remaining silent, he watches as you extend the golden slice for his retrieval. He eyes the peace offering, eyes trailing down your arm, then down your body. Shaking his head he looks back to his book and picks up where he left off. Pursing your lips you bring the sticky slice to your mouth and nibble on it. As his voice begins to harmonize with the surf again, you watch his mouth curve and round along each syllable.
You really should be paying attention to what he's saying, especially since he'll most likely want to talk about it on the ride home. But, you can't help but let your mind wander: did you calling the nuts that actually bother him? Is he having a good time? Maybe you should have invited Yuuji and Kugaisaki. Your teeth scrape along the pad of your fingertip. Scooping up a few nuts, you toss them one by one in your mouth. They cut the sweetness on your tongue with a bite of bitterness.
Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. You like the beach, but you didn't really check with him to make sure he did. You swallow, and chew on the inside of your cheek. It's still pretty early in the day, maybe you should text Yuuji and Kugaisaki, see if they're available or want to stop by. Twisting, you scan the space near your leg, seeking the water bottle you knocked over a while ago.
"Here," you turn back to find Megumi holding out the blue cylinder.
"Thanks," you murmur.
You take a swig. It slivers down your throat and you feel it pool in your stomach, at odds with your rising body temperature. Licking your lips, you take another swig. Lowering the bottle you peer at him. Green eyes pin you in place.
"What?"
"What?" You echo. His eyebrows raise slightly. The corner of his mouth twitches.
"What are you thinking?"
Mouth twisting, you huff a breath through your nose. You screw the lid back on the bottle with deliberate slowness. Watching your fingers turn it back in place you glance at him. "Are you… mad at me?" You venture. His brow instantly furrows.
"Why would I be mad at you?"
You look down at the offending walnuts, face scrunching into a grimace. Trailing a finger along the nutrition label, you look back up at him. He chuckles and smiles softly.
"It really doesn't matter to me what you call the nuts babe." His head tilts to the side, spiky hair colliding with the shaft of the umbrella, "Promise."
You nod slowly, letting his claim sink in, and take a deep breath. Your eyes drop to the snacks below you, studying them.
"Should I invite Yuuji? And Nobara? To meet us here?" The questions pop out of your mouth before you can stop them. At his silence you glance up at him. One eyebrow quirks, his eyes dart over your face.
"Why would we invite them? I mean, I like hanging out with them, but…" he clears his throat, red smudges deepen on his already sun-flushed cheeks. "But, uh, we're on a date."
A slow smile creeps onto your face. Your toes curl, clutching at fine grains of sand.
"Huh, yeah, I guess we are on a date." He shifts his weight, and props an elbow on the beach chair's armrest. He turns his attention back to the book, thumbing through the pages towards the back. You run your tongue along the edges of your teeth. "Could I get a kiss then?"
A muscle in his jaw jumps, and you watch as he tries and fails to smother his smile. He slips a marker into his book and lowers it to rest in his lap. Holding out his hand, palm up, he reaches towards you.
"Lemme see your hand." Still sticky from the peach, you carefully place it in his waiting palm. He leans forward, keeping eye contact with you. Slowly, he brings it to his face. He kisses your fingertips, your palm, and the inside of your wrist. He leaves his mouth there as he inhales the mixture of your lotions and whispers against the smooth skin, "Want another?"
A heat sibling to the sun burns through your arm and up to your face. You nod.
His teeth scrape, but a quick dart of his tongue soothes the sting. Opening his jaw he gently sucks on the fragile skin, then flutters kisses back up to your palm. Pecking the inside of your wrist one last time, he returns your hand. You gnaw on your lower lip and busy yourself with grabbing another slice of peach. Taking a large bite, juice bursts in your mouth. He watches you, a knowing curve hinting at the corners of his mouth. Licking your lips, you extend the fruit to him. This time he leans forward and opens his mouth without hesitation.
Carefully, you place it in his mouth. Slightly chapped lips close around your fingers. He rolls the fruit to the side and swipes his tongue along your fingers, sucking on them for a moment before you withdraw your hand.
You smile widely at him, "Want some nut meat to go with that?"
He chuckles and flashes a contented smile.
"Maybe next time."

In this article, we will explore the intricacies of plastic container manufacturing by the best injection molding company and the materials, processes, and concepts involved in the process.
Understanding Plastic Materials:
Plastic molds are generally made from various polymers, each with unique properties and applications. Common plastics include:
Polyethylene (PE): Known for its flexibility and chemical resistance, PE is widely used in containers for food, beverage and household products
Polypropylene (PP): PP provides excellent heat resistance and is commonly used in microwave-resistant containers, as well as packaging and industrial applications
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC): PVC is prized for its durability and versatility, making it suitable for a wide range of containers including pipes, bottles and packaging
Polystyrene (PS): PS is lightweight and insulated, making it ideal for disposable food containers, packaging and insulation.
Every plastic has unique properties, it is important to choose the right material to ensure the product works smoothly and efficiently
The Manufacturing Process:
The manufacture of plastic containers usually involves a series of manufacturing steps, e.g.
Design: The process begins with the design of the container, considering factors such as size, shape, functionality, and intended use. Computer-aided design (CAD) software is often used to create a detailed container drawing.
Material Selection: Once the design is complete, suitable plastic materials are selected based on their characteristics and suitability for the application
Injection Molding: Injection molding is one of the most common methods used to manufacture plastic containers. In this process, plastic shells are molded and placed in the molds under high pressure. The molded plastic molds harden into the desired shape when cooled.
Blow molding: Another popular method of manufacturing plastic molds is blow molding, which is particularly suitable for containers with holes, such as bottles and jars. In blow molding, a hollow plastic molding (called a parison) is created and then blown into the mold into the desired shape
Thermoforming: A plastic sheet is heated until it bends and then forms on molds under vacuum or pressure. This method is often used for trays, clamshells, and other shallow containers.
Assembly: Depending on the design, several items, such as covers, handles, or closures, may need to be assembled with some plastic containers.
Quality control: Strict quality control procedures are applied throughout the process to ensure that containers meet the required strength, durability, and dimensional accuracy standards.
Advantages of Utilizing Plastic Containers
Lightweight: Have you ever attempted to carry a glass container? You'll appreciate the ease of plastic's lightness.
Sturdy: Drop them, and they're likely to withstand the impact.
Economical: They won't strain your budget.
Potential Environmental Impact and Recycling
Nevertheless, the picture isn't entirely positive. Plastic pollution poses a significant concern. However, recycling efforts can alleviate some of these issues. Thus, it's important to recycle whenever possible.
Precautions and Safety Measures
Avoid exposing certain plastics to high temperatures.
Ensure that food containers are made of food-grade materials.
Recycle. This cannot be emphasized enough.
Materials Required for Building Plastic Containers
Building plastic containers requires several materials to ensure their efficient and effective production. The primary material, of course, is plastic resin, which serves as the base material for molding the containers. This resin can be sourced from various types of plastics, such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), depending on the desired properties of the containers.
Additionally, additives are often mixed with the resin to enhance specific characteristics of the containers. These additives may include colorants to give the containers their desired appearance, stabilizers to protect against degradation from UV exposure or heat, and reinforcements to increase strength and durability.
Furthermore, molds made of steel or aluminum are necessary for shaping the plastic resin into the desired container design. These molds must be precisely crafted to ensure consistency and accuracy in the final product.
Other materials required in the production process include machinery and equipment for melting, molding, and finishing the plastic containers. Overall, a combination of plastic resin, additives, molds, and machinery is essential for building plastic containers that meet quality standards and effectively serve their intended purposes.

Also in other news, my friendship with Dandelion seems to be growing!! (Pun unintended but I think he’d like it regardless)
Yesterday, I discovered that my bottle of dandelion seeds had gone moldy. This was unfortunate because I pretty much always use dandelion seeds in my spells. This is because — UPG incoming— they’re good for delivering intentions into reality. Hence why you make a wish while blowing dandelion seeds into the wind.
Now, it has been two months since there were dandelions outside that hadn’t already blown away. I had pretty much no chance of finding replacement seeds. However, I felt like going outside anyway, just to be safe. Lo and behold, I find the head of a dandelion, long since removed from its withered stalk, caught in some grass by the driveway. All the seeds were intact. This requires a few absolutely amazing conditions:
A dandelion bloomed at least a month late, somewhere in the yard where I didn’t notice.
It went to seed late as well, and was not consumed by any animal during this time.
The stalk completely withered. A few dark brown scraps were still attached, but aside from that there was nothing left of it.
The head, now disconnected from the stalk, blew into some tall grass right where I would see it.
Next to none of the seeds blew away during points 2-4.
I scattered half of the seeds into the wind as thanks, and made sure to fully dry the seeds I gathered, as well as leaving a layer of salt in their new container. (The previous one was unusable. I have no clue how I didn’t notice all the mold.)

Process Overview of an Extrusion Blow Molding Machine - Leshan Machine
Tumblr media
Blow molding is production procedure manufacturers utilize to manufacture customized shapes, containers, and plastic bottles. They can accomplish this production procedure through various processes. Extrusion blow molding is a production procedure where plastic pellets are initially melted into an extruder and then ejected into a deep tube known as a parison. The extruder's barrel helps it hold the raw substances being produced, and screws play a crucial role in helping mix the substance inside.
Experts have divided the extrusion blow molding procedure into two sub-kinds: intermittent and extrusion blow molding. In continuous blow molding, the plastic is squeezed out constantly while the equipment runs. With intermittent extrusion blow molding machine, the extruder operates for a particular period and fills the extrusion blow molding machine reservoir with plastic; after that reservoir is filled, a ram gets activated and pushes the substance from the extrusion blow molding machine reservoir through its extrusion head.
Description of Extrusion Blow Molding Machine:
As far as blow molding is concerned, extrusion blow molding is the most essential. Utilizing a water-cooled mold and extruder, a parison which is a hot plastic tube is caught in a plastic piece. Like, whenever people are blowing a balloon, the air is blown into a mold after the molds get closed. The extrusion blow molding machine feeds substance into a feeding transfer screw through a feeding hopper. An extrusion blow molding machine utilizes a deep tube as an instrument to manufacture the components. Experts call that tube a parison. To blast the deep tube and hollow mold closes around it. As another parison is being squeezed from the equipment, air pressure is utilized to mold the parison inside the mold. Therefore, bottle manufacturers can complete the manufacturing procedure more rapidly.
For manufacturing parisons, the substance is squeezed out into a hollow tube utilizing a specially built blow molding die. Compared to injection molding machines, extrusion blow molding machines help manufacturers produce larger plastic pieces. Therefore, if manufacturers are interested in producing larger plastic parts, they should buy bulk extrusion blow molding machines from a well-known extrusion blow molding machine exporter and use these highly advanced machines. Extrusion blow molding is also less costly than injection blow molding machines as it does not produce pieces featuring internal tensions. Manufacturers can run extrusion blow molding as a semi-continuous or continuous procedure, depending upon their specific application.
Extrusion blow molding machines feed substances into a feeding transfer screw through a feeding hopper. A particular blow molding die is used to direct the material's flow into the parison. Gravity makes this parison fall unless it reaches a pre-decided length, at which point the mold seals the bottom edge( that provides the distinctive end seal), and the mold closes around it. The parison is cut open, and the blow pin shifts to the tool's top and swells the parison against the tool cavity's walls. Here the terminology cavity refers to an individual molding surface that would manufacture a one-blow molded component. The quantity of the commodity required drives the cavitation and the magnitude of the molded container.
Definitions of Essential Procedure Terminologies:
Mold:
A mold is an assembly that could encompass at least one cavity. It is usually composed of aluminum or another metal.
Blow Pin:
The blow pin is a tooling part that is introduced into the molten parison and mold to pump the compressed air. The tip of the blow pin also helps develop the neck by either the compression air's force or the blow pin's mere compression force against the substance( and the mold's neck finish), depending upon the kind of molding equipment procedure being utilized.
Flash:
A flash is an excessive substance that expands from the mold.
How Does Extrusion Blow Molding Take Place?
This blog section divides the extrusion blow molding procedure into five steps.
1 The extruder turns every plastic pellet into a molten substance by using sheer force and a heated barrel. Both temperatures ( external and frictional temperatures are utilized). They melt the plastic by pressure.
2 The extrusion blow molding machine moves the substance through the extrusion tooling to develop a parison.
3 The extrusion blow molding machine captures the parison by closing it into the water-cooled mold.
4 Next, compressed air is pumped into the parison by a blow pin. This pumped air inflates the parison into the mold cavity's precise shape, thus manufacturing a hollow plastic bottle, part, or container. If you have ever witnessed glassblowing, it is very much like that.
5 After the plastic has sufficiently cooled, extrusion blow molding machine operators should open the mold and find their products ready in it with flash or excessive plastic. Then, extrusion blow molding machine operators should take their plastic products and follow them up by manually removing the flash or excessive plastic or by equipment. After that, they can send that flash by using a grinder to a surge bin. This excessive substance could be reintroduced to the production procedure through the substance handling system keeping wastage to almost zero.
Applications of Extrusion Blow Molding Machines:
1 Chemical and Petrochemicals:
Manufacturers utilize the extrusion blow molding method to make lubricant and petrochemical containers by using high-density polyethylene or low-density polyethylene material. Examples of products manufactured by extrusion blow molding machines are glue grease, lubricants, jerry cans, petrochemical tanks, motor oil bottles, and plastic fuel tanks. Sometimes, manufacturers apply numerous layers techniques to those containers as it can enhance their gas barrier qualities and add to the storage life. Also, it could be more cost-saving and eco-friendly because it utilizes recycled substances.
2 Medical Supplies:
Biomedical or pharmaceutical commodities utilize different plastics for packing. High-density polyethylene is normally applicable to collagen powder, protein shake, nutrition supplements, powder shake, health safety medicine, vitamin supplements, capsule, and medical pills. Manufacturers often utilize low-density polyethylene to produce packaging of liquid commodities like enema, oral liquid, contact solutions, eye drops, nasal spray, nasal rinse, liquid vitamins, liquid stomach relief, cough medicine, and syrup. They utilize polyvinyl chloride to make oxygen masks and polypropylene to make drip bottles.
