bc ive been playing minecraft a lot lately on my brother's realm i've got a map mod so i can see the surrounding region and boy howdy so we're on the tundra island right, we've lovingly named it antarctica

here’s the map for reference

i thought 'hey, i wonder what's around us' and went exploring found a lot of continents (or so i thought) so i went further, realized they're all part of one  supercontinent that's surrounding us, and we're in an inland sea

another interesting note, there are a lot of shipwrecks, ocean monuments, underwater ruins, ruined nether portals, all those things none of them are on or around antarctica so whoever came before us did not settle at all on this island, and i don't know why there are a couple little villages, so it's hospitable to villagers, but not to whatever our precursors were

Hey bestie it's me here to hand deliver a gas station blorbos ramble!!! Thank you for your participation!! Okay so I had to think a little about something I don't think I've told you about already (<3), and I think I will tell you about one of the original creepypastas that I love and adore. It's about the time Jack and Jerry get kidnapped by an old classmate of Jack's.

So the whole thing is about like. This guy, Beaux, kidnapped these two to sacrifice them and summon an ancient god. Thing is, he doesn't know what he's doing, and they're both unafraid and unimpressed. They spend most of the time heckling him, while he gets more and more agitated.

A running joke here is that Beaux is like. Incredibly racist and nasty. He believes people of color are the reason for all of his problems and he's the epitome of a white cishet man with a persecution/victim complex. I have no pity for him.

Anyway Beaux thinks he kills the part-timer he kidnapped with them, but the part-timer wakes up, punches him in the face, and runs away. Beaux fails to catch him, and he has a fit about how Jack and Jerry are being so difficult and his life has been nothing but suffering. Eventually, Beaux decides to sacrifice himself to summon the god, but he's too afraid to go through with it.

Jerry very enthusiastically offers to kill Beaux instead--Beaux wants to die and Jerry wants to kill him, so it's a win-win! And Beaux accepts. He lets Jerry out, boasting about how Jerry could never have the guts to hurt someone, and Jerry cuts him off by shooting him in the leg. The god comes and drags Beaux to another dimension, and Jerry stops it from taking him and Jack too by peeing on the portal. I'm not kidding.

Anyway yeah Jack and Jerry get to go home with minimal injury!!!

Anyway I’m gonna talk about Renfield bc he’s always on my mind so, cw for body horror, cannibalism, and corpse talk under the cut

Ren is from Inferno, and is the ‘mouser’ in Gordon’s Ridge, the main town the story takes place in. By mouser I mean he eats rats and mice after chasing them on all fours.

He’s not human! In-text no one is sure what he is (except his partner Jordan). He’s actually a parasitic worm that’s attached to the brain of his dead bf. Because of this, he looks anemic and kind of waxy. Like a bad embalming job.

Worms need to eat flesh to survive, and often eat people; they don’t see the issue and don’t distinguish between meats. They’re not human, after all, so that’s not part of their outlook.

He’s also not fully developed; worms like him live in large colonies where they all work to protect the egg clutches and stores of corpses kept preserved for the new worms to live in. However, he was separated from his family in 1700s Britain during one of the Jacobite wars (I can’t remember if I ever specified exactly) and began wandering trying to find them.

Instead he found his first partner, Justin, (who belongs to my partner) who later died, and Renfield switched his old corpse out for his boyfriend’s in an attempt to save him. It didn’t work.

Eventually he stowed away across the Atlantic and ended up in Boston in the 1800s, where he met Jordan. They entered a relationship and, when Jordan left their home, the two headed west.

Ren is very animated, and is mostly gentle, he loves petting soft animals, playing in the dirt, and basking. Another worm has referred to him as a ‘lamb with fangs’, as the gentle aspects of his personality contrast the part where he needs to hunt to survive, and is very good at killing.

He tries to befriend people, but humans interacting with him have their fight or flight response triggered because of the way he moves is just outside of normal for the human brain. Inhumans (the term for supernatural creatures) don’t have this problem.

Also! He just didn't have a name for a while, either he wasn't given one or he forgot it, but he just didn't have a name for a while (he probably went by pseudonyms). Then Jordan read Dracula to him and he latched onto the name Renfield. (as an in-universe reason why he's named that when in reality i named him that as a joke)

She's not brand new, but I did make her specifically for TOW and I haven't made all that much content for her yet!

2. What are their attributes, perks, and flaws?

Oh gosh I finished the game so long ago I don't remember the specifics very well...high intelligence and engineering/tech/lockpicking skills, low persuasion and dex-related skills!

16. What’s their love language?

Acts of service, 100%. She'll do any favor a friend asks for, and she's the team mom in that she's always checking in on people and trying to take care of them. Also gifts, to a slightly lesser extent- you know she really likes you when she starts making you things. She flirts with Ellie by making special pistol mods just for her ;)

18. How to win them over?

Be down to go on some crazy adventures, let her ramble about what her latest interest is, and be able to talk shop about machinery and technology!

Well, here’s a little something different from me.

This is for the @atla-bigbang, and i can’t thank the amazing mods enough for all the hard work they put into organizing this event-- it’s awe-inspiring! You guys are the best!

The Summary:

Like the ripples in water, repercussions follow action, or inaction. When Zuko left, he knew that he would hurt Mai. There was just no way around it. When he showed up at the Boiling Rock, Sokka in tow, he knew that there would be a lot of risk, including to himself. When Mai showed up, his letter in hand, at the Boiling Rock, he knew that it was time for a reckoning. 

Except - It wasn’t in that cell. No, his reckoning was as he watched Mai, standing tall, face down Azula. It was when he watched his sister slide into her stance, watched Mai pull her senbon, watched Ty Lee bolt into action. Mai was fast, yes, but there’s little else in the world faster than lightning.

Basics: 

1.) Full Name: 

Hiro Oda.

2.) Birthday: 

He doesn’t know but he ended up picking Oct. 31st. Misty approved because he definitely gave off Scorpio vibes. 

7.) Affiliations: 

Hiro used to be an affliate of the Tyger Claws but has since cut ties with them. There are a couple of contacts he’s on decent terms with but he’d prefer not to utilize them if possible, and would rather avoid the risk. Unfortunately he still shows up as a Tyger Claw on police scanners, with the addition of a large bounty. He doesn’t have any particular fixers he’s tied to, although he’d prefer not to work for Wakako. That doesn’t stop her from sending him on messy jobs whenever she feels like it, and he knows better than to refuse them.

10.) Five Negative Traits: 

Hiro can be reckless/impulsive and has a hard time not raising to someone’s bait. He’s the type that needs to be towed out of bar fights and hates not having the last word. He’s pretty cagey with his feelings and has a hard time trusting people/letting them get to know him, so he doesn’t make allies quickly. Trying to get him to talk about his emotions is like pulling teeth, and he’s generally a bit prickly to be around. He’s softer once he warms up but this takes a while. His partners have gotten used to it but he's incredibly bratty sometimes.

11.) What heavenly virtue would you assign them? 

Charity--even though he doesn’t have much, he’s generous with his time and what he’s able to spare.

12.) What deadly sin would you assign them?

Lust, although he’d hardly consider it a sin. He figures he could be doing much worse anyway 

16.) Do they care about their appearance? Do they like it? 

Hiro is quite vain about his appearance so he takes pretty good care of himself. He's definitely the type to spend a long time showering/styling his hair/picking out clothing and figures hey what the hell, if you've got it, flaunt it. (He's also definitely into the attention). For all that can be said about him, he’s certainly not lacking in confidence.

Combat:

2.) Combat Style (stealth/melee/brute force/ect)

Hiro prefers to focus on melee combat. He has gorilla arm mods and subdermal plating so he’s sturdier than he looks. He also has mods that boost his reflexes so he’s a combination of fast and hits like a truck. His style of fighting is to just sort of dive into the middle of it. He has a berserk cyberdeck, so his usual strategy is to just go in swinging/try to grapple opponents. Before he got his mods he preferred bats/clubs, as his aim with a gun is not great. 

5.) Biggest weakness in combat: 

One of his biggest weaknesses is netrunners. He has a lot of cybernetics and is focused on close range combat, so a good one can be a huge hassle. He’s also gotten into bad situations involving snipers, if he can see someone, they’re fucked but hidden opponents are a bit of a nightmare for him. His cyberdeck doesn’t allow him to nethack so he often has to rely on his allies to disable cameras or netrun. 

6.) Avoid combat or shoot first?

With civilians involved, he’d much rather avoid combat. He understands that when gangs are involved though, this isn’t always the best option. Corps he’d rather just shoot first, especially if they think they can buy/bribe him. He’d take extra offense to that. 

7.) Threaten or Charm?

It depends on the situation. Charm would usually be his first attempt, followed by threats if the situation called for it. He’s definitely used the strategy “walk in and act like you belong there” to surprising amounts of success before, and there have been situations that he’s gotten though on sheer bullshit/good luck. Any threats to his allies though usually would garner a less subtle, more violent reaction. He’s more protective of them than he is of himself. 

Appearance:

He’s leanly muscled with a lot of definition. He spends a lot of time training/sparring when he’s not doing working so he maintains it fairly well. 

8.) Scars:

Surprisingly few. There are some his tattoos cover up, and a small one through his eyebrow but very few visible ones. He doesn’t have cyberscars from facial cyberware, and would prefer to keep it that way. He’s a little paranoid about anything happening to his face. 

10.) Strategy or Improvise: 

He’d much rather just improvise, and lacks the patience for any significant planning. Why wait around for someone to nethack a door open when you could just pry it off it’s hinges? 

Background:

5.) Who raised them?

He has a brother (Avi) who’s about five years older than he is, and until he was six that was his primary caretaker. His parents weren’t really in the picture, and did little in the way of raising him. The two of them got separated after their parents died--both had been runners for the Tyger Claws and were caught dipping into the drugs they were supposed to be smuggling. The two boys were separated after TC caught wind of this. Avi ended up running and getting away but Hiro didn’t. 

8.) Were they well-off, poor or somewhere in-between growing up?

He and his brother were really poor growing up. They grew up in shacks near the water in Kabuki and would gather stuff they found in the water to sell or fix. Both of them were sick a lot growing up, and neither ever felt the desire to return to their childhood home. 

11.) Who is the most important person from their childhood?

Viktor was probably one of the first positive influences in their life. Hiro met him because he was looking for a trustworthy ripperdoc. Vik refused to charge him full price for the work he needed done, and the two of them ended up striking up a friendship. Hiro really admires Vik, and the two of them are on good terms. Hiro will occasionally keep an eye on the clinic for him so he can get supplies/take a bit of a break.

15.) Have they kept any meaningful mementos from their past?

He doesn’t have many physical possessions from his past. Aside from his bike, he still kept his old mask. He can’t bring himself to get rid of it, and can’t deny it’s come in useful on more than one occasion.

If Jeer-Tei, Mei, Otero, or Pelath were followers what would their personal quests be?

Whoo - that's sure a question ain't it? I'll do all 4 bcus why not, I'm bored

gonna be under a readmore bcus i like to ramble (mostly for Tei bcus they kinda have the most thought out/they're the one i wanna make a follower mod out of...if I finally get off my butt and actually write all this down & plot it out properly lol)

Jeer-Tei

Their personal quest would most likely be a revenge type one. I mentioned in a Dragonborn questionnaire I did that Tei ended up losing a close friend to a group of Stormcloaks, kinda permanently setting in their loathing for the group, but wasn't sure if it'd be canon - for Dragonborn! Tei that is.

Follower mod Tei? It's most likely gonna be added. The quest would prob trigger if they trust you enough/you get through enough dialogue with them most likely?? Though I *would* like to try adding in a thing where if your PC is a Stormcloak, Tei wouldn't talk to you about it at all (hell they probably won't even follow you...if possible...hmm). But back to the meat of the quest: Tei would probably inform the player they want to go after a Stormcloak commander, giving more detail about the friend they lost/having any attempts of justice brushed off when pleading to the Jarl or his stewards.

Maybe there would be dialogue to tell Tei to let this go early on (w/ an option to go "hey! I changed my mind!" maybe? idk), or it'll be a sort of thing towards the end of the quest where you either let Tei kill the target in question or spare them. & hell, shooting for the stars here, pull a Fallout like deal where whichever choice will change something bout Tei (namely weapons/armor, but perhaps the player would get an effect too? Kinda like what you get after certain side-quests? Like a boost to smithing or one-handed or something idk im just rambling here)

Mei

Oh gosh, I think Mei's would be focused on one of her big experiments? Not just sure what it would be - but it would most likely be towards trying to prove herself in the event of her & a few other students being selected to head to Summerset to continue training. (Kinda taking from the story I have for her already! It's a big thing she was super anxious about n went out of her way to try n make herself look good).

Honestly not too sure how to write this one out, seeing as Mei (& Otero n Pelath for that matter) would most likely not be on my list of follower mods to make. But the gist of it would most likely be the player helping boost her confidence.

Otero

'Tero's main quest would most likely be focused on trying to cure himself of lycanthropy tbh. It'd be a different process than the whole witch-head thing in vanilla, I think, maybe a challenge from Hircine? Idk why but I'm thinking like...survive a labyrinth type of vibe lol. Would take a bit to get to that point though, Otero's quick to drop trust on things & there prob would be certain dialogue bits that would lock you out of this quest.

Pelath

I kinda have an idea for Pel? Her backstory is still in the works/being left muddy for now but he does have a past with Meridia that would probably come back up when trying to work as a Vigilant - so most likely that personal quest would be from that. Most likely triggered after a few convos unlocked by a.) having the Dawnbreaker , or b.) taking Pel around the stature of Meridia/doing the daedra's quest with her in tow.

Not too sure what it'd really consist of though, maybe just burning those bridges for good/coming to terms with his past??? idk aaaah

Chapter One Summary

Biggest shout-out to @pixie-in-trebleland, who wrote the following chapter summary! I appreciate your help so much, seriously. As a reminder, I was hoping that other people would write these instead of me because I didn’t want to tell you guys what the take-away should be or what’s important or unimportant. It’s up to you to tell each other what you’ll all need to know to 1. understand the upcoming story and 2. learn and remember how to help our puppets. Here’s Tianna’s take on Chapter One - if you wanted to write a summary too, that could help us get an even more complete picture, but seriously this is awesome. You did a wonderful job and I love how you talk about them. Thanks a million, pixie!

These summaries are for newcomers to be able to jump into the story, for those who had trouble following the whole story to get a fuller picture, and for those who have been here all along (including me haha) to remember what’s come before.

Chapter One Summary by pixie-in-trebleland

We are first introduced to a set of twins known to us as Trickshot and Doktor (Chase and Schneep) who are keeping watch. Your cameras flicker to life and, from this point forward, you are able to interact with the duo, and the others. As our little camera crew asks Trick and Dok some questions, Anti and Red (Jackie) appear with an unconscious Marvin slung over Red’s shoulder. Doktor and Trick are excited at the fact that they are now a pretty little set of brothers. It is then explained that Marvin is to be Red’s twin, and that his name is now Blue (a cute kind of pairing to Red’s name!). While the boys fuss over Marvin and Red who is injured from the fight, we are told a little about Dapper (Jameson) who spends his time alone upstairs. Marvin awakes later on to his brothers, horrified at the amount of abuse that Anti has put them through. They no longer remember who they were before Anti kidnapped them all, that including their real names or anything of their personalities. Now, Marvin realizes, his brothers are nothing but shattered fragments of who they used to be. Enraged and very emotional over the entire situation, he confronts Anti about what he’s done, and Anti attempts to use his Power on Marvin, just as he did with the others. Marvin catches on and Anti leaves him alone in the basement, amused at the fact that Marvin is not as weak as he appears to be. Marvin rejoins the others and tries to care for them as he usually had in the past, only being pushed away and attacked by the others. Towards the end of the first bit, Marvin attempts to see Dapper, only to get punished by Anti.

The second part of the chapter opens with Marvin being kidnapped by Anti and quickly punished for attempting to approach Dapper, who is forced to live alone in the attic. Red is beyond excited and anxious to see what the outcome will be of the punishment. At the same time, Red is coming to realize just how attached he is becoming to Marvin, who Anti promised would become his twin. All while this chaos is happening upstairs, Dok and Trickshot are staying out of the way in hopes that punishment will not fall on them. At the end of the day, Anti has already attempted to hypnotize Marvin to make him behave and break like the others. However, the hypnosis has made Marvin -and his magic- unstable...unstable to the point in which Red needs to restrain him to keep any more flowers from growing through the floorboards! Meanwhile, there is an incident that happens with Trick and Dok that causes Trick to grab his twin by the throat, sending him into a fit of confusion. In his own unstable state, Dok attacks Trick, but the two attempt to quickly make up after he returns to his somewhat normal self. Dapper still remains alone, but sits in the attic and watches the Northern Lights overhead. It is here where our camera crew sees that the time traveller is not as broken as the others. His personality has become an amalgamation of who he was and who he now is, showing us that Anti’s power isn’t as strong as it appears to be.

The next part of this chapter was totally my favourite bit, so bear with me if I ramble on! The fourth part is this beautifully fluffy part where Anti lets Trick, Dok and Dapper are allowed out on the town to get supplies. They’re given extra money, too, to pick up little gifts for each other (YAY!). With all the fun going on, they return home, only to see that Red and Marvin have been “reset” by Anti. By reset, I mean that their memories are gone and all, but they are now inseparable. Joined at the hip. Dapper is starting to go a little nuts, and Dok is punished because of it. Anti blames him for Dapper losing his marbles and sends Trick out to get a new medication, no matter the cost. Trick steals the anti-psychotics and returns home. Meanwhile, Blue is starting to remember who he was before Anti and plans to break free, until he sees Anti wearing Dapper’s body.

The chapter is starting to come to an end as police come up the hill to find Trick for his crime. Anti goes to stop them in his gigantic puppy form and attempts to lead them away from the home in order to protect his brothers. While Anti is away, Marvin sees an opportunity to run and does so, but not without fighting off a resistant Red first.

As for the ending, Mod adds: fleeing to the beach with a stunned Doktor in tow, Blue is cornered by Anti, who has possessed Trick despite Trick’s fear and trauma about possession. Dapper, having seen a possible future where Anti kills Blue on this night, comes down to the beach to stop it. In the ensuing fight, Dapper stabs Anti to protect Blue and Dok manages to calm Anti’s fury, convincing him that he will have to take Blue willingly or not at all. In the end, Blue allows himself to be taken back to the house and hypnotized deeply, convinced to stay by... well, that’s not my place to say.

💔 - The Bite of ‘83 doesn’t happen in the AU, nor does Mike get bitten in this. The Bite of ‘87 victim is a certain individual named Pierre Blu. 💖 - The notable ones: Vince and Phone Guy are probably on the verge of dating. Mike and New Guy share a sibling-like bond and are found family.

🐰 - The FNaF 3 guard is most likely simultaneously Mike and New Guy, whether they share the same shift or take turns. Phone Dude is a Freddy’s obsessed fanboy who would later create Fazbear's Fright in 2003. Generally considered obnoxious (atleast by a certain little schmidt).

🎤 - Honestly, both Vinny and Joel Vinesauce sometimes switch for good candidates for Mike’s voice lmao. JJ’s voice from FNaF World would also work too tbh.

📣 - I don’t know if this technically counts as a character theme song, but The Mind Electric has been occupying my mind recently for fitting New Guy, even getting an animatic in my head lmao.

New Guy is VINCENT'S child? (A theory maybe?) Also yes, I may or may not have thought New Guy is Michael, does Michael even take place in this location or is there something else with him?

Again, Purple Guy and Vincent have been split into two completely separate characters, with Vincent being based on NT Vincent.

Also, “Michael Afton” technically doesn’t exist as a whole in the AU, though Mike Schmidt does.
