‘I understand it has been talked to death, but I just have to say how sad I am about how there's absolutely no intimacy with the LIs anymore. The ship of dreams just cemented it for me. We are supposed to be so very in love with Theo or whatever, but literally every single scene "sexual tension" gets mentioned. I LIKE sexy books, but it's not romance. ‘I think the reason Crimes of Passion is so well liked despite being a Single LI book is because Trystan is presented as an equal to MC. Where other books have a very clear power dynamic where the MC works for or is dependent on the LI, in CoP that is never the case, and that makes for a wonderful dynamic between the characters. I do miss having a choice in who I romance, but I would mind more Trystan Thornes in my life.’
