just... the pressure on her. the flashbacks to crystal’s death. she can’t get relationships right. something’s wrong with her. there always has been and there always will be. she says the wrong thing. she hurts everyone. she wants to be loved. but she can’t love right. she knows. everybody knows.

I know I am always saying this but I rly do feel so bad for coach ben. he’s literally gay just because his already horrifically sad story needed to be even sadder i guess. yeah any adult stranded w a bunch of teenage girls and powerless to stop their unhinged antics would be freaked out by lottie’s cult shit and misty’s psychosexual obsession w them, but the fact that he’s closeted means they are building on his preexisting religious and sexual trauma. that makes it somehow even worse than if he was “just” a guy who lost his leg in a plane crash and is now responsible for chaperoning a bunch of teenagers in an extremely hopeless situation. he was already dealing with shit and then he nearly died but he didn’t and now all the exact right (wrong?) Terrors in the form of 17 year old weird girls are being unleashed on him to make his life be a literal living hell. but also if he shows any vulnerability his tenuous control over these increasingly dangerous teens (who he is protecting from....themselves) will be ripped away from him even further, and if he doesn’t remain extremely vigilant misty will pounce on him like a tiger. the fact that he isn’t even dead by s1 is so fucked up bc like..... how much more are they gonna make this man suffer before he breaks entirely?????? pls just end his pain and eat him already!!!
