Huh? The cub stopped crying when he heard tiny little steps around his box in which anyway it was very dark, only the air holes let some light in. The ray of hope flashed up in Simba’s heart, he didn’t even think someone would hear him this soon. The cub had no idea how he had got in there, but he wanted to be free as soon as possible.

“Hey? Are you here?” Simba whispered, hoping the other could hear him. “Can you help me? I am trapped.”

Jerry couldn't catch a break! And no, it wasn't because of a particular cat. First a week long visit from the rascal, Tuffy, then a visit from another mouse, Cinnamon Wheatberry!

While visiting Jerry, Cinnamon was determined to "slay" the dangerous feline. No longer will any mouse live in fear of the monster that goes by...Tom! But the monster proved to be more of a challenge for the little mouse. Jerry had luckily saved him several times.

Yes, Cinnamon had failed in the past.

Either he was a shapeshifter like her, or she just wasn’t used to animals having such emotive faces. Clearly, she needed to get back to observing animals and drawing them again. Her encyclopedia draft was unfinished, sitting and gathering dust at her desk.

“Don’t look so upset. You should be proud.” Robin crouches down closer, digging through her pockets. After a moment, she retrieves a bag of peanut butter sandwich crackers, opening the bag and offering one to Jerry.

“Here. I’m the only friendly wolf around here, but if you’d like, I can give you more of these for your hidey hole, wherever it is.” Why was she being so friendly to what most humans called pests? Simple.

Robin was lonely as hell.
