When I Think back to the past I recall the faith the family the friends I lost to fate When I Think back to the past I recall Childhood abuse I recall the Iraq War I recall my history of violence that determined my destiny When I Think back to the past I recall the alcohol addiction I recall the cocaine addiction I recall the sex addiction that lead me to that point of the meaning of my life I recall much pain and suffering in my past and I do believe in the great power of Pain and Suffering but I also believe in the Power of being in the Present Presently I believe in the Power of the Divine for her love and grace blesses me, Her Grace Saves me, and Her Grace Empowers me Presently I am 10 months sober from alcohol today 10 months sober from cocaine today 10 months absence... jk but much better much safer much more intimate Presently love my job Presently love my church Presently love my marijuana And most of all I Presently love being, existing, and experiencing the Power of the Present And the future...
