Eventually, Miguel settles for a classic black suit jacket and matching pants, his shirt unbuttoned just enough to not look suffocating without making him look like a playboy.

He brings flowers for your mom, and then clenches them so hard that the stems get all wonky. Miguel’s saved the world, and yet the thought of dinner going badly has him sweating. It’s especially important that it goes right given that he’s hiding a ring in his jacket pocket.

For the sake of the story, Spider-Reader was adopted as a wee babe by two loving parents of ambiguous origin. And imagine the look on their faces when they open the door to great their daughter they haven’t seen in AGES to see 6’7” Miguel with his basketball-sized shoulders and crisp suit. You’d sent them pictures of course, but my God, they did not capture the beast that is Miguel O’Hara.

The Time Has Come

Over the next few months, I will be removing my fan fiction from this blog. My intent is to have it removed by the end of June. All fan fiction will be removed.

I will try, though I won't promise, to upload it to AO3.

This has been a long time coming. I am no longer active in the fan fiction community as I have been blessed to be able to work with a publisher to write and publish my original fiction. My 8th book just came out and my 9th book will be released in the fall.

I miss the Supernatural fandom and that show will always own my heart. But I don't have time any more to devote to writing fan fiction. The unfinished fics eat at me (as do the not-so-nice messages I sometimes receive about them) so I think it would be best if I just took everything down. I'll leave the blog up because who doesn't like to look at pictures of Dean Winchester?

I want to thank everyone who has supported me, both as a fan fiction writer and in my writing career. My dream job as an author wouldn't be possible without your encouragement over the years.

Important and Unexpected Life Update

Hey everyone, I hope you are all well. I just wanted to let you all know that I might not be active for a bit.

I really don't know right now.

On December 6, 2023. I went to the eye doctor just to get my yearly eye checkup and to pick out a new pair of glasses.

Instead of new glasses, I was told that I needed to get rushed down to a retina specialist because the retina on my right eye was detached along with multiple holes.

I went there and found out that my retina was detached and the only option that sounded the best option was something called scleral buckle surgery.

And, they wanted to do it that same day but they don't have a schedule open until Tuesday the 12th of December.

This surgery will repair my retina, but it is going to be a LONG recovery process and I have zero idea if I will be able to do any editing or answer anything for a while.

Since they don't even want me to go to work until it's fully recovered and I'm already stressed about that thought...

The recovery time is about a month and it's gonna be painful. So my activity may be on and off.

I just wanted to let you guys know what was happening.

If I don't feel up to it on the day, I wanna say it now. I hope you guys have a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.
