My brain just cursed me with this angsty idea, so I’m gonna toss it out here for you guys to see too.

Anyway, the Batch, especially Hunter, has always been very protective of Omega, even more so now after getting her back. She’s never been super bothered by it, but it seems like she’s getting more and more annoyed these days, and what if it comes to a head like:

Hunter: *grabs Omega’s arm and pulls her behind him*

Omega: Stop it! I’m not a little girl anymore, Hunter!

Hunter is visibly crushed then cut to Wrecker and Crosshair flinching, and the whole thing is just gut wrenching.

Classic, angsty teenage girl with her over protective father figures/big brothers (I would know, I’ve had a few) and I just ughhhh (*sobbing*)

And then the idea I had on top of that was afterward we get Crosshair telling Omega to go talk to Hunter as a callback to the events earlier in the season.

HIII HIIII 'Scars' by The Crane Wives is literally so Suns and Pebblescore I went a little bit insane and had to do something with it.... Oooh my gosh! Admittedly I didn't really feel like drawing on my tablet so all the frames were drawn with my finger and phone!! Despite that I'm so proud of how it turned out... To celebrate, I finished off my mosaic for Chihiro Fujisaki that I started earlier in the summer! Seemed fitting with all the tech comparing and installations I just had to do this week when my old laptop was deemed irreparable. Just hit the part where Gale talks about how clean his tower is now again and it hit different. How he laughs it off but...like....cleaning, getting rid of stuff.

It's just a throw away line, but this guy collects bits and trinkets and books like no-tomorrow (just look at his camp spot!) and he's delighted by those things and, well, he's not exactly the master of organization over there. Him not having things - well, it's not about the things he's giving up - it's about the fact that he'd given up so why on earth would things matter? Even if they had been special or important to him once.

Gale is a depressed, burned out GT kid who got screwed over by the system (and person in this case because the person is the system and the system is the person) who originally told him he was special and has completely and utterly had his sense of self-worth nuked (hah) by a mistake that he really wasn't in a position to be able to avoid given all of the above circumstances because what other path could he have possibly taken and not been a failure for not trying anyways?

He is desperately trying to keep his burn out from hurting or disappointing any more people and he thought that isolation is the only way to really do that.

And his sole lifeline to any semblance of actual sanity seems to be his cat.

UGH....I AM GALE. GALE IS ME. FUCK. No fucking wonder I want to cry when my Tav tells Gale he's worthy exactly as he is and again when our wizard wonder starts believing it.

Feel free not to answer if it's spoilers, but I am curious: what is the origin of Seth's favorite sword? Did he make it (it's not uncommon for gods of war to craft a weapon for themselves) or was it a gift??

It's sorta spoilery yeah!

I can only say that Seth has had many swords but they've all been lost and/or broken. That one sword (which he named Halim) is special even though Seth doesn't use it anymore.

He's also into guns now🏃‍♀️✨
