starting to write tunes for the music box, the notes are kind of dependant on the rotation speed right now,. if you rotate at full speed you get a consistent melody
im going to do a lot of experimenting with formatting, layout, colors and font... but in essence my idea was to add sideline annotation style text and now i have that and it looks as cool as i was hoping
trying to work out an architectural style for my platformer. doing this in a pixel art editor because working with tilesets in godot 4 makes me want to kill myself
sorry if this is stupid and its actually just compression causing this but its really cool how the colors in the little game test clips you posted arent completely flat it looks really good
Its deliberate! The shader i wrote adds a little bit of semi-periodic rgb noise to the colors of the level. I'm trying to go more for a paper sort of look instead of like digital noise or tv-static. At the moment i think i want to keep it as subtle as possible, but if i crank it up it is very noticable:
