Okay I was gonna come into your inbox and thank you for always adding image descriptions to things, and I thought I'd be cute and come in here and call you my beloved mutual in Italian cuz I know that one, but then I remembered Italian doesn't have neutral genders. How would I refer to you in third person besides pronouns? Like, I don't want to call you mio amato or mia amata, what would work? Mia(o)? Mi@? Miao? Should I make cat sounds at you????

First of all, absolutely yes make cat sounds at me and I'll make them back (does this qualify me as a 'meow meow'? unə miao miao?) There's been a lot of discussion about this, especially bc you can't just use e like in Spanish bc Italian already uses that as the feminine plural. but! People have started using the schwa (ə) as a gender neutral ending (es. miə amatə , and I have also seen this written with a 3 (es. mi3 amat3). Which I think is also singular, but if I am wrong I fully invite someone who actually speaks the language to correct me!

Admittedly, I do not know how to say 'mutual' in Italian the way we say it in English (which is honestly a skill issue on my part bc I do follow multiple Italian-speaking tumblr users!) Also happy to help describe! Can I call you 'beloved mutual' also?

#it's pronounced kind of like the starting 'uh' in 'about'

Hi! Meow!

Hi everyone! I’m izzy and I’m 20 years old and I live in Tuscany, Italy. This is my first study blr. After finding out what the studyblr community is, I’ve decided to start one. I study in a Liceo Linguistico, that is a high school where you study 3 foreign languages: french, german and of course english.

Anyway srr for my english :3 feel free to correct me

some fact about me (+ random things u should know abt my blog) :3

my favourite color is violet and last years my hair was dyed of that color

i will never post a photo of my bedroom ‘cause it’s a bad situation and i live in my granny’s house (i sleep in a bedroom that was my mum’s bedroom when she was young) right now.

english isn’t my first language, sorry if i commit some mistakes

i have a dog :3

next years i will go to the university and i’d like to go to the Belle Arti Academy. I’d like to be a graphic designer.
