P.S. It's not a race: Tesla is completely safe. The Chevy Blazer EV looks like just another compliance electric car that will be produced in small numbers and will be too expensive to compete with Tesla and Chinese electric car makers.

Tesla's only real competitors are in China. BYD, SAIC and a few other Chinese car companies are already taking over the affordable electric car market where legacy OEMs are completely helpless...

In Riga, I already saw the first privately imported new Chinese-made MG ZS EV (Useable battery capacity-68.3 kWh; In Germany, it costs only approximately €37,990) with a Latvian registration number plate. Although the MG brand does not have an official importer and service centre in Latvia (at least I don't know of one), some brave person has already bought it and brought it from abroad...
