Saki:

Psychic goth girl who was cast as Cinderella in a school play. The play was so poorly cast overall that the entire script had to be rewritten, thus “Cinderella-ish” was born. Hanajima played a Cinderella dressed in all black, and when confronted by the fairy godmother, she simply wished for meat.

idk if this is what you meant by 'acting' as Cinderella but in-universe she got cast as Cinderella in the school play, and the characters ended up re-writing the entire play to work around her because she was too Goth and disinterested to play a classic Cinderella character.

She plays the best version of Cinderella. All she cared about was going to the ball for the barbecue. The episode she's in is a really good one as well.

Overall Saki is not a Cinderella character, but you did say we could submit them if they were Cinderella in an in-universe play, and that she was! In Season 2 Episode 23 "It's Cinderella-ish", her class puts on a production of Cinderella and she ends up getting cast as the titular role, which a lot of other characters think is crazy because she's this straight-faced, emotionally-repressed, exclusively-wears-black kinda girl. Also her best friend Tohru (the anime's protagonist) gets cast as an evil stepsister, and she's one of the sweetest people ever and has so much trouble being mean to Saki even fakely and vice versa. Of course, Saki has no problems being rude to the Prince Charming character in the play, played by Kyo, a guy who's sweet deep down (but only to Tohru and his adoptive father) but is other wise a hot head who's always getting into fights. So between Saki as Cinderella having a genuine love for her stepsister and a general animosity with the prince, in addition to the fact that when she goes to the ball, all she wants to do is eat, not mingle, she makes for a very interesting Cinderella.

so this shoujo series has a storyline where the class puts on a Cinderella play but instead of the heroine playing Cinderella, shenanigans happen that lead to the heroine's goth best friend, Saki Hanajima, aka Hana-chan, aka Demon Queen, playing the lead role. Hana-chan's Cinderella dresses in all black against the wishes of the play's director, does not give 2 shits about the prince, and is just a general menace to society. I know she's probably not gonna win but I just wanted to share her with all of you bc I love her and the Cinderella-ish arc is to this day some of the funniest shit I've seen in a manga

their high school class decided to randomize who played which characters in their production of Cinderella & the creepy goth girl got cast as Cinderella & her painfully kind-hearted bestie got cast as the evil stepsister (among other mismatched roles) so they rewrote the play into "Sorta Cinderella" & Cinderella became a deadpan, lazy girl who only wants the best for her darling step-sister & who only went to the ball for the food.  in the end, instead of marrying the prince she takes his money & opens a restaurant with her sister & I love that for them <3

- I rlly like this song!!! at first I was like "ooh, sick ass drum beat" and then I was smacked in the face with the sheer beauty of the vocals and bgm.. it's a very pretty song! makes me sad though

- This song is also very nice, MCR's slower songs make me feel a very specific type of emotional... gerard way's voice is just so so so good and I love the way he sings with emotion in all of the band's songs..... Plus I really like the guitar solo in this :3

- This is actually one of my favourite songs, I love EVERYTHING about it... It just ticks all my boxes,, and it makes me so emotional because of the lyrics and the guitar and UGH VIC FUENTES VOICE.... Very good, me fave song... maybe even my number one....

- ERM... AVril Lavigne is a big celebrity crush of mine she's very pretty and her live singing voice is INSANELY good, unfortunatley idk too many of her songs and only know the popular ones but this song is a classic and it makes me sad(iSEE THE WAY YUR ACTING LIKE YOURE SOMEBODY ELSE GETS ME FRRUSTRAATEDD😫/lyr)

- This song is just 2018 memories to me.. When I was 10 years old Sushush was my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE artist and they did an animatic to this song and I loved it sm.. very nostalgic!

- This song is literally so omg. I dont know if anybody knows this but I was such a big akiangel person and I'd listen to this on loop for MONTHS because I was so obsessed with the ship HELP I love old songs.. plus this one's so catchy, 10/10

- Not many people really know this because I never talk about it but I'm a big J-hiphop fan and I lav home made kazoku... this song reminds me of year 8, itz very groovi

- Oh this song... I like arctic monkeys but I only know like two songs, but I LOVE how Alex turner doesnt "Americanise" his accent because I always see non american vocalists sing in a different accent than they speak in.. But anyway this song is very good, catchy bassline, catchy song, catchy everything. Def recommend! makes me nostalgic

Main thoughts i can bring out is maybe UF mettaton is havin a day(negative) and Reader ends up finding him and startin a chat up, and being someone genuinely nice, ends up tryna cheer him up because they can relate to being disliked by most people or smthn

Hi!! You have no clue how ecstatic I was to do this request! Firstly thank you for all the lovely compliments and please never feel like you’re bothering me by requesting, it’s literally the only thing that makes me motivated to write. The reader is a monster and GN because it wasn’t specified hope that’s okay, also petnames are used but not a lot. Thank you for being my first Undertale request, Enjoy!!

Kill or be killed was the rule here, You hated it, you never liked how the acceptance of cruelty and being evil came so easily to most here. As long as you lived in the underground you never fit into the norms of being cruel and killing for your own personal benefit. That made life exceptionally difficult because often you were persecuted for your ways but you never minded much, you were kind and were always willing to forgive someone.

Thankfully you didn't have to worry too much about having people bother you at your job. You worked as Mettatons assistant, often sticking by him, because when you were with him, monsters didn't bother you at risk of making the feared robot angry.

Despite the way Mettaton acts he was mostly kind to you, he wouldn't go out of his way but he certainly had his moments.

Today, however, was different. Today, the weight of the whole underground bore down upon Mettaton's metallic shoulders, at least that's how he felt, his usually bold yet mischievous front dulled by the shadows of distress. Mettaton had been acting off all day, his change in demeanor was concerning at first you had brushed it off as a minor mood swing but as the day continued you noticed he stayed the same. You had to check up on him, he was still your friend despite having moments where he was less than kind to you.

As you approached, concern etched upon your features, you found him nestled in the solitude of his dressing room, a solitary figure amidst the disorder of his own thoughts.

"Hey there, you okay Metta?" you asked softly, your voice gentle in the oppressive silence. He didn't even have the strength to look at you. Poor thing. "Rough day, huh?" You leaned against the door.

Mettaton's response was a weary sigh, the weight of his responsibilities evident in the slump of his shoulders. "You could say that, darling," he replied, his tone laced with a hint of tiredness. "Sometimes, I just- I just” He starts exasperated “What good is it to be one of the 'Biggest Stars in the Underground' if everyone hates your guts? I didn't ask for everyone to see me differently once I became a star, I mean I did but still." You nodded understandingly, empathy in your gaze as you took a seat beside him, offering a comforting hand amid the squall of his emotions. "I know how that feels," you admitted, your voice tinged with a vulnerability that mirrored his own, vulnerability was a dangerous thing to show in the Underground but here, with him, you felt secure. "To be judged for being yourself, to be ostracized for showing a side of you in a world that values power above all else, sometimes, it feels like the whole world is against you, doesn't it? I might not understand you to the fullest but I still get it, y'know?" You tried so hard to relate so he didn't feel alone, nobody deserves to feel that way especially him.

A flicker of surprise crossed Mettaton's features, his gaze softening as he regarded you with newfound clarity. You despite everything, were still so sweet. "You understand," he murmured a note of disbelief in his words. "In a world consumed by cruelty, you remain one of the kindest people I know."

Mettaton's metallic fingers clenched around the edges of his makeup mirror, his reflection a distorted echo of him. Your words, though simple, resonated so deeply within him, uncovering emotions long buried beneath the layers of how he acted versus who he was hiding.

"You're right, darling," he confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. "Y'know" He takes a deep breath followed by a sour chuckle, "You, your kindness has been the only constant in my life. I used to think you were just following me and being nice out of fear but you are a rare and precious gift."

A tear glistened in the corner of his eye, betraying the vulnerability he had long sought to conceal. For so long, he had hidden behind the stunning facade of Mettaton, the star of the Underground, but now, in the quiet intimacy of his dressing room, he could no longer deny the truth that lay beneath the glittering surface. With a trembling hand, he reached out to you, his touch tentative yet desperate, seeking solace in the warmth of your presence. "Thank you," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "Thank you for seeing me, not as a killer celebrity, but as Mettaton the monster, flawed and fragile, just like everyone else."

You offered him a gentle smile, a silent reassurance that you were here, by him, unwavering in your support.

At that moment, as the weight of everything around him boar so very heavy on his weary shoulders, he had someone who understood him, flaws and all.

Together, you sat in comfortable silence, in the dimly lit confines of his dressing room, where shadows danced with the flickering lights, the bond forged between you two despite your very different lives grew, a testament to the enduring power of LOVE and kindness in a world consumed by depravity.

For in the end, Mettaton truly learned that it was not the fame or fortune that defined him, not the way he could impress others by cruel and senseis acts of violence but the connections with those who saw beyond the glittering facade to the monster beneath.

Undertale Characters as Pokémon

Ok, I recently had this dumb idea to reimagine some of the major Undertale characters as Pokémon. But I wanted it to be interesting. I couldn't just Pokémonify the characters. Hell, I couldn't even make them based on physical appearance. Noooo the overachiever part of me that only comes out in this exact level of Dumb Idea TM decided to make it based on the personalities and/or lore.

So, without futher ado, I present to you this thing that I drew instead of studying:

Before you we have:

Player as Mimikyu

People had difficulty recognising it as a Pokémon, many having believed it to simply be a ghost in disguise. It is said to be a cursed being, and those who have seen under their rags have all died painfully. No, I will not separate the player into different pokemon based on routes that's a choice, not a personality.

Undyne as Arbok

Vengeful and territorial. Will not give up chasing its prey no matter how far. Terrifyingly strong, can not be escaped once you are inside its grip. I'm so proud of the pattern I made for this one and will not accept criticism.

Mettaton as Alolan Meowth

It is very spoiled, selfish and arrogant, which makes it popular. Usually preys on weaker Pokémon. Will become very aggressive when someone dirties its coin or hurts its self-esteem. This one was perfect, handed down to me by Mew itself. I had to do it. Look at it and tell me I'm wrong.

Asgore as Kangaskhan

It has zero forgiveness for those who harm its child and will beat them down. There are records of a lost human child being raised by a childless Kangaskhan. Yes I know Kangaskhans are all female. Yes, I know I could have made Toriel the Kangaskhan and Asgore the Drakloak. But I already drew both of them and it was a pain I am not changing it now.

Sans as Abra

It sleeps for 18 hours a day. It senses impending attacks and teleports away to safety before the actual attacks can strike. Do I need to say more?

Papyrus as Wobbuffet

The patient Pokémon, the pacifist that will almost never attack foes without provocation. Prefers to avoid confrontation entirely, sheltering themselves away from most other Pokémon. It constantly hides its tail in darkness, which is considered to be proof that the tail hides some sort of secret.

Flowey/Asriel as Phantump

Ok, this might not be perfect in terms of personality, but the lore was just too good to give up the opportunity. Legends say that Phantump are spirits of children who got lost in the deep forest and perished. Their cries sound like eerie screams. By imitating the voice of a child, it causes people to get hopelessly lost deep in the forest. It’s trying to make friends with them.

Muffet as Frillish

Don't be deceived by its cute appearance, it will poison its prey and drag them into the depths of the ocean to drown and be eaten. I wish I was kidding. Ghost Pokémon are horrifying if you actually think about it for a few minutes.

Toriel as Drakloak

Blah blah blah Kangaskhan blah blah lazy blah blah. You've already heard this before, so I'll skip the rant. Without a Dreepy to place on its head and care for, it gets so uneasy it'll try to substitute any Pokémon it finds for the missing Dreepy. If a Drakloak is defeated in a battle, its Dreepy will wander off without a second thought.

You may have noticed that I didn't include Alphys. Other than wanting a nice, easy number of drawings to sort, I do have a reason for that. You see, Alphys doesn't really... fit a Pokémon that well. She acts more like a professor to me, especially due to her experiments with DT and the mess that it caused so yeah. It's totally not because I'm lazy (ok maybe only partially).

Poker Nights at the Omega Timeline idea, take two

And this is where What is Poker Nights at the OT? Basically the premise would be to, much like Poker nights at the Inventory by TellTale, have 4 characters sat at a table and watching them go back and forth as you, the player, are sat with these characters on a off-the-clock basis playing a good game of poker. But instead of well-known characters from franchises colliding, it'd be Undertale AUs. And instead of the setting being the Inventory, it'd be in the Omega Timeline's very own Grillby's.

I'd tossed a few ideas before for what a hypotheticaLL roster could be, and I think I've generally hit a good balance here.

@invertedfate's Mettaton (BOX or SPIRAL, pick yer poison— I thought box could be funnier) — What's better than a fairly famous robot superstar coming down to a run down bar to avoid papparazis? But even out of the camera, his acting skills come in handy, he can bluff his cards real good. (… While originally I was going to go for Papyrus, I kinda feel the likely more raunchy route of the conversations would likely take would leave him with very little to add to conversations.)

@xtaleunderverse's XGaster — The high 'n mighty came to demonstrate his superiority with this fairly pointless game of cards. Instead, he's going to become the butt of the joke. He's prone to placing his eggs in a basket made out of conjectures, and paying the price for it.

@tatatale's ALIVE — The scientist was invited to this tournament, and she decided to finally come out of the woodworks at the request of her friends. I think she'd be very fun as a foil to the other characters at the table. Her experience with Multiverse stuff would offer a fun foil to the high 'n mighty XGaster.

@potoobrigham's Growthspurt Asriel — Nothing like developing a gambling addiction on early adulthood, eh? He's the more lowkey of the players at the table, because he didn't expect the tournament to be this... out-there. Probably the friendliest, but he has a habit of fumbling even good cards.

CORE!Frisk would be working as the host/bartender/card dealer, occassionally chipping into conversations, and overall just making sure everyone is playing nice, with a side of snark.

I'd imagine conversations would go for a variety of topics, from the mundane, to the out-there topics of the multiverse.

If I ever take this any further (and really, there's no guarantee I will) I'd make it a fairly long edited video with voice acting talking through the conversations, or something among those lines. I wouldn't make it a game, but I think it'd be fun as a concept.
