For girls "Add more to your knowledge"and for boys "Add some knowledge" let's talk about MENSTRUATION. Here we go!
Tumblr media
What is menstruation?
It is simply the tears of blood coming out from uterus. It is the process occurring every month in women where the normal vaginal bleeding occurs. Menstruation is partly blood and partly tissue from inside the uterus. Menstruation starts from puberty until the menopause, except during pregnancy. It is the preparation of body itself for potential pregnancy. Menstruation lasts for 3-5 days
Periods starts between the age of 11-14 when the girl hits puberty or adolescent age and continue till menopause at age about 45-55. But girls can start menstruating as young as 9 or last as 16.
