Here’s some fanart for the fanfic “Meeting on the March” from the series “Another Turn of the Wheel” by SofiaDragon on AO3, which is based off the character Loki from the MCU. This scene specifically references the movies “Captain America: The First Avenger” and “The Avengers”. The song in the first panel is an excerpt from the 1st verse of “Wild Carrot Song” by Rachel Lambert aka the ‘Singing Forager’, which can be found on her website here: https://www.wildwalks-southwest.co.uk/wild-carrot-song/. (I tried to find some older nursery rhymes of this theme, but strangely there weren’t many results?) The faded text in the final panel is the phrase “I am Loki” translated into multiple different languages using Google Translate, as a reference to the AllSpeak ability. Painted in ClipStudio Paint.

With the detailing on the tunic inspired by the designs of Durin’s Door in Tolkien works. (Also like, some nice world tree vibes, which coincides with the whole in-story thing of mages and walking the branches of Ygdrassil...).
