Bandai UK Opens Meadowhall Sheffield Gashapon Store!

Seems like new Gashapon locations are opening up all over the world these days, because they are! Gashapon UK has just announced their newest location is set to open on Friday, December 15th, 2023. The new location is at the Meadowhall Shopping Centre, in Sheffield England, United Kingdom.

We have confirmed with the team that they will in fact be carrying Tamagotchi Gashapon! No word yet on which specific ones, but we’re sure the Tamagotchi Plus keychains will be present.

First up: The HMV album signing

I came straight from arriving into Sheffield onto the train to Meadowhall.

I couldn’t check into my accommodation until later, so I had to take all my luggage with me😅 I really didn’t have much but it was a little awkward

as soon as I got to the shopping centre (which btw is like a frickin’ mAZE) I saw Def Leppard T-shirts everywhere, so I popped on the Sav Jacket

i met up with my friends (two had just got off the plane from America) and joined the queue

I wasn’t nervous until I actually got into the store

also I didn’t realise where the band actually were

i thought they might have been in a back room or something

but nOPEEE THEY WERE JUST IN THE STORE DNFNFNFN

I JUST COULDN’T SEE THEM BC THERE WAS SO MANY PEOPLE

the first one of them I saw was Sav and oH MY GODDDD

HES REAL THEY ARE REAL

EEEEEEEEEEEEE

the closer I got the more nervous I got because tHAT IS DEF LEPPARD RIGHT THERE?

And then it was my turn to get my vinyl signed

the whole thing was very quick but 👁👄👁

Joe smiled at me

Phil said hi

Viv said “that is a cool jacket”

And then Sav said something I’ll never forget

“I recognise that jacket😏”

AAAAAHHHHHHHHH

HE WAS SO LOVELYYYYYY

He told me that the original jacket was lost, and that apart from the one in the RRHOF, my one was as good as the original🥹

and Rick winked at me (but I’ve been told he does that with everyone😂)

aND THATS IT

I MET THE LEPPARDS

And little did I know that was only the beginning of the most incredible weekend ever….👀

Visited the Bandai Gashapon Store in the Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Sheffield, UK yesterday. They did have some Tamagotchi items, but it was the One Piece collab stuff, which I'm not interested in. But I got these cuties!

Sit-rep on the DIY Toeless Tights. They worked a treat! When I got home they were still perfectly fine. Not one single piece of fabric between any of my toes had broken. I'd worn them for most of two days with sandals. Driven the best part of 400 miles wearing them. Walked around the Birmingham Village one afternoon, Meadowhall the next. I'll see if they survive a run through the washing machine later on this week! Not bad for a basic pair that cost just 80p!
