First off, absolutely in love with him already. Your style lowkey reminds me of The Magnus Archives. I’m not sure why?? It’s so pretty and I just wanna bury my face in it like a pillow 💖❤️💖 (Also I’m new so I do apologize if I come off as brazen or awkward.)

Is your Monsterhunter perhaps trans?? 👀👀

How long has he been in that line of business?

What’s his personality like?

1) uhh yes he is trans but he doesn't know that word because its the ussr. basically his parents raised him as a boy because why the hell not and the moustache is formed from sheer will alone. if it was the modern day he would probably be agender since his relationship with gender runs the spectrum from vague to nonexistent

2) he encountered something supernatural when he was recieving army training at 18, ran away and started hunting soon after. so about ten years (he's 29 and in 1985 if not specified otherwise)

3) he is. hm how do i put this. he doesn't know when to shut up (autism). he lies a lot but in a whoops-i-got-carried-away way. he has a very hard but thin shield of cynycism and underneath it he desperately wants to be held. he probably marries a vampire at some point idk yet

4) uhh yes but they are highly specific to hungary rejto jeno for example. also theres a problem of a lot of western classics being banned at the time. but right now he would ironically (unironically) love twilight

also i am flattered i Love tma!!! altough im not sure how art can remind you of a media without visuals but i think also that might be the best compliment ever

question abt ur hunter guy: what’s his car, if he has one? feels like in spn every hunter has their Iconic Car lol

he doesn't have a car, and you might be asking why! and the answer is historical accuracy. since the eastern block was socialist, even if you had the money, you couldn't just buy a car. you had to put in a request for a car, and if you were lucky, the state would supply you with one (in 3-5 years). yeah it was bad.

anyways since the lengthy bureaucratic process of applying for a car requires a constant address and being on several records, he doesn't have a car. he has stashes of supplies in different regions and hops trains. if he really needed to i'm sure he would steal a vehicle (maybe even return it), but would not drive it out of the country, because of border checks.
