So, like every other stupid pers9n, I read the winners fully aware that i will be destroyed, taken apart like a riffle and dumpted into a lake ( too soon?)

Anyhow. I have so many thoughts, it's wild.

First. BENJI. my whole soul was trembling and aching from the first page. And the knowing of what will happen still didn't stop me from hopping in some twisted way that it might not hold true. I read once that the reason we read tragedies, despite knowing how terribly they end, it's becose we always hold the hope that maybe,just maybe, this time, things will turn differently (that was from a post about hadestown, but let's not go into the details). So despite knowing it was futile, i hoped something will be different, that all that foreshadowing was an elaborate ruse. But somehow... there comes some semblence of piece with knowing the end. With hoping that if there is even a heaven out there, it's for people like him. And it's all full of frozen lakes to skate on and fish zero fish from and all that.

That being said, I have to tell you i cried so much i ended up with a headache. Because this whole book is a testament to so much love and so much hate it's unbelievable.

I never felt as protective over a character as when i heard that peter was threatened to go to prison. Because I love peter. He makes croissants for his wife and bread that covers all the counters in the kitchen and he just wants to feel needed.

And I love how this trilogy is so full of circles. Peter and Alicia the most beautiful one of them all. But also, Zachall and her one time number 16, Maya and the bass singer, amat and the hollow, the baptism of sins through cathedrals. All of it. There is so much violence and injustice and so many people that commit so many wrongs. And despite all of it or maybe exactly for and because of it, there is so much love sipping through each crack. There is a boy named Vidar born in the middle of the forrest. Ana is saving and world. Teemu has a child that hates hockey. The Ovich family can still breathe and hold on to each other. The cherry tree blossoms.

Okay, so I just watched the Dead Sprint episode of F.B.I: International and Forrester and Powell (hey, actor guy who appeared in an episode of Hudson and Rex once, I see you!) definitely explored each other’s bodies in the past, or at the very least they wanted to, right? I don’t care how many times they called each other ‘brother’ (I think it was four times, btw. Methinks the ‘bros’ do protest too much, no?), the homoerotic tension was off the charts.

And, yeah, I’m guessing from that scene in the van with Vo that if Powell does join the team then they’re going to make them a thing (possibly making Raines jealous in the process and leading him to realize he’s still more into Vo than he is Maya), but, come on, Forrester had more chemistry and heat with Powell in that one episode than he ever did with Kellett in almost two seasons.

What are Kenta and Maya’s roles in the Au? Are they swapped w/each other? And please, do tell me all about Aria and Kane’s relationship (as much as you can w/o spoilers)

Kenta Is actually swapped with Eiya! since they are both the sisters in the story (step and half) I did make some changes about who's parents are who's just to make the au easier on me lol The thing with that though is that it leaves Maya in a weird space, if I just left her as is she'd be Eiyas love interest which...is wrong lmao So I decided to change Maya to one of the sins! based on a ship of mine! (the ship is not cannon i can't stress that enough lol) Maya will be taking the place of Vice (greed) although the sins are probably gonna be juggled around. So unfortunately Maya will probably play a way lesser role in this au (unless i think of a better character to swap her with) Luckily I can talk about Kane and Arias relationship with out much spoilers since its pretty different (of course i can't talk about later in the series or just HOW the relationship is different) So in my au Kane and Aria will probably not have ever dated (i might change that but idk) He instead takes the role of a body guard for Aria, but of course things don't just stay like that. Unfortunately really anything beyond the "he goes to the dark realm to become her body guard" kinda gets spoiler-y if i tell the story linearly, so I can only really talk about bits and pieces. Kane and Arias relationship will most likely start differently from Nex and Laxos but will progressively get more similar as the story progresses. there are tons of characters left and I still have a lot of ideas! I love talking about au's (i have A TON With me and Forrests characters lol) So please ask as many questions as you'd like! Ps: sorry if my grammar/punctuation sucks
