One thing that sucks about my delayed echolalia is that my brain will only make me memorize-repeat phrases of things that are really hilarious to me.
And I have to bite my jaws to keep from saying it more than a handful of times around people. I know it's only funny to other folks the first time I say it, after that it gets annoying. I was raised to mask my autism, so I repeat my phrases as quiet as I can handle it or I say it to myself in my head to keep my mask up in front of neurotypicals. Verbal stimming something funny is the greatest feeling to me though, so if it's too much I will straight up leave the room for a minute to stim and come back with a huge smile nearly laughing my ass off.
The greatest thing about it is that the phrase NEVER GETS OLD. It is funny every single goddamn time to me 😂😂 because whatever I am repeating, I absolutely love and am obsessed with.
So, for like three days straight, I've been repeating "deep rich colour" from this Trixie and Katya youtube video where they're showing off their Red Scare lipstick collection.
It's great. I love it.
My roommates, on the other hand, are tired of it.
But my brain won't forget The Thing, so...

[ID: Traditional pencil art of slasher characters. First five images show the artist dressed as their version of ghostface, wearing the signature mask, a black trenchcoat, trousers, and boots, and a purple starry shirt. First image just shows the face of ghostface, second image shows a small fullbody doodle of ghostface prancing about in a goofy fashion. Third image has ghostface casually laying down asking “What’s your favourite scary movie?”
Fifth image shows an unmasked ghostface, the artist, looking down in embarrassment saying “Uhhh I don’t actually kill people... I just want my trivia games to be more immersive?” Sixth image then shows the artist continue and say “And to seduce 90s dads.”
The last three images show Pierce, a large dolphin masked slasher villain. She is blonde haired and wears a maroon button up shirt with a purple undershirt and holds a harpoon as her weapon. Sixth image shows a side view of Pierce’s head. Seventh shows a front view of Pierce’s face. Eigth imahe shows a half body of Pierce holding her harpoon as she chitters in a dolphin-like fashion. End ID.]
Doodles of myself in a ghostface mask based on how I dressed for last year’s Halloween. I just think ghosty is neat and cute! :D
Also some concepts for a dolphin-masked slasher villain. Her name is Pierce and she shanks poachers and littering teens with a harpoon.

Biyaheng Hilagang Luzon!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media

'Traslacion' 2021 canceled due to Covid-19
#PHnews: 'Traslacion' 2021 canceled due to Covid-19
MANILA – For the first time, the 'traslacion' or grand procession of the Black Nazarene would not push through next year due to the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.
The Manila LGU and the Quiapo Church have decided that the grand procession of the Black Nazarene for the Traslacion in January will no longer push through. Let us avoid during this time these processions and parades because there is still the Covid-19 pandemic),” Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso announced via social media on Friday.
The annual feast celebrated every January 9 draws millions of devotees of the Black Nazarene from different parts of the country and some even from abroad make it a point to join the yearly grand procession as part of their “panata” or vow after receiving “miracles” or answer to their petitions as a sign of gratitude.
Meanwhile, many of those who join the procession ask for healing and intervention from the miraculous Black Nazarene.
The yearly procession starts from the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta to the Basilica of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo. Last January, the procession took 16 hours.
Domagoso believes that the safety of the public must prevail over tradition especially in this time of the pandemic.
There are things that we can’t control pero pwede maiwasan. Kung libo-libo ang pupunta, isa lang sa kanila ang maimpeksyon, tapos magkakadikit-dikit pa sila, pinagpapawisan, nagkakalat ng laway, delikado po (our devotees may be put at risk. There are things that we can’t control but can be avoided. If thousands will attend and only one gets infected and then everyone gets too close to one another, perspiring, it is very dangerous),” he said.
Meanwhile, the Manila Public Information Office said while Quiapo church officials were saddened by the cancelation, they understand that both the church and the public must comply with the minimum health safety protocol of the government.
The church would celebrate more Masses for the devotees of the Black Nazarene but it also reminded the public to observe safe physical distancing, and wear their face masks and face shields in attending Masses.
The body temperature of those who will enter the church will also be monitored. (PNA)

Day3
It was beautiful. But hectic at first. We had a traditional Mexican prayer in the morning, but it had a rough start. It was Dawg Dash, with all these dogs running with joggers. But it blocked traffic. It took folks a little bit to get through, but it opened up soon enough. Felt grateful for that.
I still remember the smoke, and the brushing of the feathers across my body. They had lots of spirit, that it kept on snorting out the power. I feel humbled.
Then zumba kids came and danced their heart outs. It was fun.
The little swans came and swan through the space.
And then Guma imahe sang their tunes.
And we ended with Git Hoan, People of the Salmon. A beautiful ceremony story. They made all their own masks and costumes, and songs too. They made songs while in potlach. Traded songs sans brought young ones there. There is down in my water bottle. I feel blessed. Although, I wish I connected with them more. I hope ancestors still saw my intention.
Chalk art with Angelina and Clinton was fun. And I got free fry bread, so that was nice.
Thank you for the day.
