Mic Check 1, 2. Happy 131 Day!

Since tumblr is no longer banned in Indonesia, I would like to make comeback post on tumblr, a quick one, because it will gonna be a long thread if I write it on twitter lol. And since today is my birthday, I just want to leave any trace to remember, haha.. But nope, I'm not going to write any wishes birthday here, bcs it will just to mainstream, haha, besides, I haven't made it yet!

Hmm just excuse my wrong grammar, I just wanna boost my confidence for writing in English again, bcs it has been aged since my last note in English. Or maybe in the future, if I have time, I'll try to fix it, ok.

So, here they are, my 31st of January in summary:

- Nu'est Minhyun, returns!

I might be not a hardcore fans of Nu'est, but I'm so happy for Nu'est and L.O.V.Es that Minhyun returns as Nu'est Minhyun, like, officially... I know how hard it felt when Nu'est members can't even talk about Minhyun in public back then, like Minhyun was Voldemort or something, and also L.O.V.Es has been dealing with Minhyun's akgaes since then, all these cases weren't easy to handle. I just wanna say congrats for both Nu'est and Loves, good luck and have a nice year ahead!

-I found my long lost twin!

2018 has been a meaningful year for me bcs I finally found my long lost twin, so starting this year I won't celebrate it alone, lol. I mean I think it's hard to find someone who was born on 31st January too, espesially kpop singer. So happy belated birthday to (G)IDLE's Miyeon too!

-Mashiho will debut, soon.

I think I already said on twitter that I'm rooting team J, and as final happened, there only two members of team J who made until the final stage, and I defintely want Haruto and Mashiho to debut. Haruto made it to the first group and now Mashiho made it to the second group. As we're still waiting for the full line up of second group announcement, I lowkey wishing that Keita and Yoshinori will make cut too, but hmm, sounds really selfish of me but YG TB line up announcement always filled with surprise, so we better wait and see.

- Mama didn't put any santan in the nasi uduk.

There are so many things to buy thesedays, so I decided not to buy any cake this year. Mama knows that I love nasi kuning and nasi uduk, so I think she decided to make nasi uduk for 4 people bcs it's easier to make than nasi kuning. I didn't help her to cook bcs I have to clean the upstairs. Around 11 am, I felt really hungry and since my job is done, I went to the kitchen immediately. The nasi uduk is ready, but when I started to eat, Mama said, OH I FORGET TO PUT SANTAN!

As I told you this story here, it might be not funny, but you know, the basic ingredients for nasi uduk is the rice and the santan, so basically, what I eat today just rice with "cikur" in it. Menboong!

- 131 BI's day.

Kim hanbin's username on soundcloud is 131 (from BI), fans started to celebrate BI's day on 31st of January, and it happened to be my birthday too! so, starting this year, 31st of January will be a special day for me and Hanbin! This is great!!!

And it's been a month since I came home, I mean, after graduated from college back then in September, I started to work in Jakarta, but seems faith want me to come home. So while working in Jakarta, I participated insome recruitments in my hometown. It was tiring, but it's all worthed bcs On 31st December, finally, I got the job!

There's still no official announcement when I have to start to work, so I think I still have plenty time to do all I want to do, and making more lockscreen is one of them bcs why not? Haha.. So bubye tumblr for now! And once again happy birthday to me!!

This is gonna be confusing but let’s go.

Stargazing, fairy lights, watercolors, combat boots, oversized sweaters, black nail polish, railroads, scattered art supplies, glasses, journaling, sunset, walking by the river, big sweaters with shorts, patterned knee high socks, shy, soft, laughing, crying, fluffy, curly hair, books, blushing cheeks, flirting with friends, taking weird as a compliment, walking in the woods, video diary with friends, moonlight, sneaking out, going on adventures, small smiles, tiny dimples, cuddles, and more cuddles, Hufflepuff, sitting in a parking lot late at night with friends, not perfect in any way and loving it.

What is your favorite time of day?

Nighttime! I am a complete night owl, I can’t function in the morning lol. I love stargazing so I try to stay awake long enough to stargaze during the summer. I also love the outdoors at night, very few people, everything is calm and peaceful, especially if it’s winter and snowing. Street lamps cast a peach light over the snow and it contrasts with the dark blue/black tone of night and just looks beautiful. Wow I just really soft and sentimental.

What do you like the most about the beach?

The sound and the feeling of sand! I like walking along the waters edge and just listening to the waves. I’ve grown up near water for my whole life and it’s a sound I find very relaxing. The feeling of sand on my feet is soothing. I also love shell hunting, waking up before the sun and walking along the beach scanning for shells, I don’t get to do it often and I really enjoy it.

What do I worry about constantly?

My friends, I have people close to me that suffer from very major problems and I never want to lose them. I also have problems with anxiety and other mental health things, so I’m constantly worrying about that as well.

What is a song you’ve cried to before?

Oh, there are so many! One I’ve cried to recently would be Erase Me - Said the Sky. It’s a song that I deeply relate to and I’ve been having a hard time lately. I’ve also cried to Hold On - Chord Overstreet, I wont go into detail, but I almost lost one of my close friends to suicide over the summer and I could never imagine my life with out them, this song just really makes me think of them.

What are some relaxing tips for your followers?

Life is going to have its ups and its downs, especially if you’re recovering from something. Just remember that everything will be better one day. There will always be bad days, cry if you need to cry, scream if you need to scream, rant to a friend or even rant to me. It’s not good to hold in bad emotions. If you just wanna relax then watch some movies, take your alone time. One of my personal favorites is putting on an outfit I think I’m cute in and just dancing like an idiot in it, it’s amazing for raising my mood and I’ve found it increases my self confidence.

What are some things that make you tear up?

Emotional music, when my friends do random nice gestures, when I hear about one of my friends or mutuals going through something bad.

What is your favorite form of each of the five senses?

Touch: Cuddles, soft things

Smell: Flowers and campfires

Taste: chocolate, pasta, ice cream, and homemade food

Hear: music, rain

Sight: stars, water, snow

What is one alternate reality you’d want to live in?

Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter, just something with magic and non human magical species like fairy’s and elves.

Also one where I can be friends with kpop idols lol.

What are most troubles you face daily?

Self doubt, low self confidence, anxiety, as well as getting alone time; I’m antisocial and sometimes I can’t find time alone.

What is a scene of a book that made you really sad?

In the book “The Unwanteds” there is a thing called the purge, it separates the people into the wanted, the necessaries, and the unwanteds. The wanteds live while the Unwanteds are sent to die. During the purge a set of twins is separated. It’s actually a really good book series, I greatly recommend.
