I feel like everybody is overlooking that Mandarin redemption AU comes prepackaged with

But there was only one bed

because Chiro sleeps in Mandarin's old room now, but it's Mandarin so he has 0% chill the second he realizes that the Hyperforce gave HIS ROOM to Chiro. Orange boi is out here acting like they said they wanna kill him cuz he has no place to sleep 🤣

Then Antauri volunteers as tribute and lets Mandarin room with him (MANTAURI PROPAGANDA BROTHER).

But Antauri like most of the team is suspicious of Mandarin and installs a program that warns the team if he dies (he values himself so little) and starts to lock the door after he thinks Mandarin falls asleep.

Also on the first night Mandarin tries to stay awake for longer than Antauri and Antauri decides to get back at him by not mentioning that he's 100% a robot now.

Mandarin feels like a bus ran him over the next day.

Antauri is smilling more often.

I've seen you like Poly Monkeys, but I wanted to ask: What do you think about shipping the team with Mandarin? Personally I can't see Poly Monkeys working with him (he looks like the jealous and possessive type), but I do like shipping him with the team separately (especially Mantauri and Mandarin/Sparx)

Seriously tho, in terms of Poly Monkeys, yeah no I doubt he'd work that well in the relationship as he is lol. While yeah Nova can get jealous at times, same with Sprx (though to a lesser degree), Mandarin would be too jealous over Antauri and Otto getting attention and just be possessive as fuck with them. If it's just separately, like Mandarin with Antauri and/or Otto, then I could see it happening in different ways. With Antauri, it's basically "both sides think it's unrequited but the other does like him" sorta thing and I ship it like that lol, especially since in my head prior to the betrayal, he likes both Antauri and Otto but haha polyam relationships? Dunno them. Lowkey feel like he thought he could only be with one person at a time which is also what caused the whole "both think it's unrequited" mess lmao Mandarin with Otto, however, I definitely see them being exes with the betrayal being their unspoken but EXTREMELY CLEAR breakup, which would add to Otto's pain to when Mandarin was first talked about in the show (which BAD MANDARIN BAD-). Otto was definitely his favorite though, that I'll say now BUT. Huge but right there, if Mandarin had a redemption arc, I could see him possibly being in Poly Monkeys. Of course both Mandarin himself and Antauri would be hesitant in the idea (Mandarin because he doesn't want to hurt Otto again, see betrayal area, and Antauri because he doesn't want his boyfriend hurt again and at that point he hasn't fully believed Mandarin has changed) but in this universe, it could actually happen. There'll be times Mandarin ends up being a bit possessive, but the second he realizes his behavior he'd apologize because he remembers that nobody's trying to steal Antauri nor Otto away from him, they're all in a relationship. It's... A little weird for everyone, at first, but after a while they get used to it Sorry I ended up rambling, especially with the redeemed! Mandarin portion there lol the idea of Mandarin being redeemed has been wrecking my mind for a while now alongside many other things related to this show and it also kinda crept into "wait what if Feelings(TM) have been caught yet again" or just "what if feelings hit back so hard they're all just flying bc they thought they were over each other but when redeemed Mandarin comes into their lives again, it's just stronger than ever"

Meet Yuzu! (she/her)

She’s confident and knows how to hold her head up high. She has a bit of temper, but she doesn’t let that stop her from protecting her family or others. She genuinely cares for her family and wants to do everything she can to protect them. But even though she’s confident, she still has her fears. Her greatest fear is somehow ending up like her bàba, Mandarin, or anyone else of her family falling down the same path as he did.

She was born after her bāba was exiled and imprisoned. Her dad, Antauri, told her of her bāba’s existence and his downfall when she was old enough to understand. Of being told of her bàba, she wants to make sure she does everything she can to not end up like him. She did question what her bàba would think of her if he was still part of the team. But like the others, she wasn’t too pleased to meet him for the first time when he made his return back to Shuggazoom.

Like her dad, she uses her own kind of Claw Disrupter. She can use levitation like both of her parents to pick things up and move others. And like both of her parents, she uses Monkey Mind Scream. She even uses her own non-built in weapon like her bàba, that being a retractable staff.

She’s a fan of clothes and fashion. She dresses herself in a yellow jacket with a fluffy, cotton collar. She dresses up occasionally, but she mainly wears her jacket in case there’s a fight about to happen.
