Peter Cushing -- Madhouse (1974)
I just finished watching this gem. Man, I love this film. Yes, it's very predictable and more suspense than a 'horror' film. The best thing about it is Price and Cushing playing off each other. Two great actors and very different in their style.
Damn if this man wasn't devilishly handsome at 61. He's just so debonaire, smooth, shady as hell, and straight up sexy in this film.
The man was made for tailored suits.
Watching Peter's character (in the end) sit back and relish the moment is more of my fav scenes in Cushing's acting. I love it when he plays the baddie.
And one of my fav behind the scenes, is Vincent Price serving some serious cunt. I love this man.
While making 'Madhouse' in London, co-star Robert Quarry was singing in his dressing room as Price walked past. "I bet you didn't know I could sing, Vincent", said Quarry. "Well, I knew you couldn't fucking act" came the reply.
LOLLLLLL for days.

This man is looking directly at you from the screen! He clearly wants you too see him with your eyes and doesn't want you to look away
(bro back tf up from the damn screen!)
I swear I won't draw Warden anymore! I SWEAR!
(or maybe not.. I love him sm it's hard to stop)
I might not even use this new style for him.. I guess I just wanted to try drawing in the show's style but it FAILED SO FRICKEN BADLY.. Also I drew the lines way too THICCC >__<
man I do really like to make him with that SMUG FACE XD

Iain Glen might be the worst casting for Bruce Wayne ever???? Like…. c’mon now… Bruce is not a senior citizen… ESPECIALLY not in his “Dick has left me & I’ve just adopted Jason who is the new Robin” era like????

Idk if you've seen it but in the show 'HSMTMTS' there is a song in the second season called 'The Rose Song' and I was wondering what Stephen King couple you think best fits that song? I know there's gotta be one but I can't think of who it is!
Dudeee I am so sorry this took me so long to answer! I had a response planned out months ago but I have been hit with some unexpected health issues.
I personally have never seen HSMTMTS, but I looked up the song and listened to it a few times to fully understand it. I also asked my sister (@grownups-are-the-real-monsters) who has watched the full show and is very familiar with the song for her opinion. We both agreed that Sue and Tommy from Carrie fit this song pretty well.
It fits Sue's disillusionment with the "picket fence" sort of lifestyle. She doesn't want to end up with that kind of life, but she fears that's what Tommy (and society) expects from her. She wants to break out of it, but feels confined by expectations of who she's supposed to be. I think this part in particular fits her very well:
"You love me but for all the wrong reasons
Am I somethin' to you and not someone?
'Cause I feel trapped on this pedestal you put me on
You tell me that I'm beautiful but I think that's an understatement"
Thanks so much for this ask! I love questions like this and I had a lot of fun trying to think of an answer. And once again, I am sorry it took so long!!
