This beautiful, foggy St. Patrick’s Day morning reminds me of a time I drove through the Wicklow Mountains hoping to see the blooming purple heather. It was the same road as in the film “PS I Love you”. Fog obscured the distant purple hills much as the fog here today obscures the Blue Ridge Mountains and our usual view of Wintergreen. I still had wonderful day on that drive years ago and you can still have a beautiful day here at Hill Top. We have covered outdoor seating in case it rains, the temperature while cool is just right for warming up with a little mead, the ancient drink of the Irish.
