- 5 points for Actual 14 Year Old Juliet (5)

- Minus 10 points for it being a period piece (-5)

-Plus 25 points for POC, especially since hollywood likes to excuse period pieces from this. the cast is gorgeous. (20)

-Minus 1 point for weird created tension between Benvolio and everyone. why is he universally hated leave him alone, Benvolio is a Sweet Baby Boy, wherefore, writers?? (19)

-Juliet’s my child I Love Her what the FUCK. Plus 5 for making her this way. (24)

-Minus 10 for Tybalt just Suddenly being a Bitch for no reason except to squeeze the whole goddamn play into one episode (14)

-Overall, Juliet was my favorite character and she’s fuckin dead now so. Not a bad show actually, just awkward in the way most dramas are awkward. wish mercutio had more time to be funny. feel like Benvolio is mischaracterized for the sake of tension. will definitely keep watching to see whats up. the cast is beautiful tho I’ll give it that.
