So, I've been learning how to spin yarn and I have a double coated keeshond who sheds A LOT. After some Google searching it turns out the two things can overlap so I made yarn using his shedded fluff! It's a 50/50 blend of creamy white sheep's wool and the whitish gray shed from my dog Raditz. Once washed, blended together, and spun it made these beautifully soft skeins! I'm pretty proud of them and just might have to make more! No puppies where harmed in the making of these skeins. This photo is a fitting representative of my felting journey. Not in a sense that I got myself all tangled up in pounds of wool roving. 😁 I see it more as being enveloped in wool and gently pulled in the direction I need to go. I certainly feel this pulling energy in real life when I put my felting pad on my lap, dig my fingers into soft wool texture, and stab it with needles hundreds of thousands times. ☺️ Photo: @winkylewis Это фото хорошо представляет мой путь к валянию.
