SPHYNX I stalk you on Twitter too and I saw your post about how a lot of River is based on Kotetsu and I got compelled to ask you: what do you think it would be like if your Fate OCs were in the Tiger & Bunny universe?? How chaotic or how well do you think they'd work??

You know, it's kind of funny. With them being mages and Heroic Spirits, I wouldn't be surprised if most people in Tiger and Bunny verse would just assume they're NEXTs. So they'd probably blend in well, but--

Instant uncanny valley with Kotetsu and them being basically the same person (bc again, I based the guy off him.)

BUT, they click and become friends with no hesitation.

Also relating with the 'being in love with a long haired, tragic twunk with pretty green eyes'.

Also becomes bros with Antonio, resulting in the Kotetsu-Antonio-River three-way bromance of alcohol and partying and non-toxic masculinity.

The only people she has any capacity to tolerate is Nathan and Yuri.

Finds out Yuri is Lunatic (courtesy of Brier) and has mad respect for him, just wishes his vetting system was a bit more fine tuned and that he wasn't going out of his way and wasting time to obstruct the heroes.

LOVES Antonio because of the fact that he reminds him of his dad.

Actually loves all of the heroes. Much to Fakkir's chagrin he even wants to join the Hero Academy, but his 'powers' (magecraft) is so niche in terms of superheroes that he'd have a rough time in most situations like Ivan.

He'll sneak off and get involved with the Heroes' missions, which ends up putting him in a lot of trouble, but he loves the adventure.

Alright so here’s the most notable changes I’m making in this FGO fanfic AU:

Obviously River as our focal character/Grand Master! And his whole deal... Also Brier, Fakkir, and Adam joining the team as we go into EoR.

Also obv the relationship between River and Romani and previously with Aim and Solomon.

Alt Alcides/Heracles. She’s PHH’s Alcides/Heracles in this AU and has a similar deal to Artoria where history just chose to remember her as a man.

Whatever the happened in Rome Singularity... That’s getting at least 60% changed.

Instead of Heracles in Okeanos, it’s Ajax who happens to look a lot like Berserkules. Jason notes that he tried to summon ‘Heracles’ but Forneus had Medea convince him to not for... reasons.

Since Cu Alter is already River’s Servant at the start of the Singularities, in E Plurbus Unum Medb has instead used the Grail to make Fergus her king and the story focuses on Cu facing off against Connacht again and coming to terms with himself, sicne Cu Alter represents the ugly side of the story of Cu Chulainn in this AU.

Also, in E Plurbus Unum I’m not putting the Hindu Servants or Nero and Elizabeth in there. [coughs bitterly in Native]. I’m putting NA Indigenous Heroes in there instead. I love Geronimo so he’s staying center stage.

A lot of Servants are getting design changes in this AU. I mean... it’s an AU, so. (Included but not limited to: Quetzalcoatl, Caeneus, Kamadeva, Parvati, every child Servant esp Abby omfg)

Agartha is also being overhauled.

Yasuke in Shimosa as the main companion to the crew and coming back in Heian-kyo.

Many parts about Salem are getting changed or rearranged, not because I didn’t love Salem but because the events in it are key for my segway into Lostbelts.

Napoleon and Beowulf switch Lostbelts. It makes more sense for Napoleon to be in the Russian LB and Beowulf in the Scandinavian LB to me.

Instead of Atalante Alter, there is Catherine the Great who’s trying to coup Ivan and afterwards help the Yaga. I mean she became empress after a successful coup and she was Russia’s longest reigning Empress.

That’s all I’ll set down for now. I have a lot of other huge stuff in this AU, but these are my ‘disclaimer’ points!

Adam is introduced in the EoR portion of the AU at the age of 12!

By Lostbelt Prologue he's just turned 14, and by LB6 he's about to turn 16!

Sadly not that baby, but he must be protected at all costs!

He's a very kind and very smart boy who's doing his best around all of these buckwild and emotionally damaged adults and still learning magecraft from his mother.

Adam becomes good friends with Mash, it's very sweet! She gets to be a big sister to him!

Holy crap that is a lot of servants. How do you come up with THAT many? Also is that Adam master going to have some kind of connection to the original Adam? Cause that's what I'm getting from what you said. Also really glad you're gonna be doing some redesigns for the servants cause. Oof.

The short answer is I get bored standing around at work 10 hours a day with my headphones on and I think 'what if I took this character in this Singularity/Lostbelt out and plopped this character based on a historical figure with narrative-driving potential in to see what happens?'

A lot of it, too, comes from me as an Mi'kmaq person wanting to see more American Indigenous representation in my favorite ongoing medias. I think there was a missed opportunity in E Plurbus Unum to have more Indigenous Heroic Spirits but that's why I'm making a fanfic; too see how things could be a little rearranged!

Also, Adam will be super relevant throughout the story!

A secondary plotline besides River's character metamorphosis is also going to be a sort of coming-of-age story for Adam since he represents 'the new generation' of humanity and of mage society.

I purposefully have a theme of Death and Life between Fakkir and her son. His eventual Servant is a secret that I'm not revealing for a long time!

Hey, not trying to be mean about your OC, but I looked it up and apparently Arroyo is Spanish for "Brook?" And since you said Fakkir was Egyptian/Armenian, I'm now wondering why she has a Spanish surname? Was she married at one point and chose not to change her name back from Arroyo after something happened between her and the spouse?

Good question!

She's CURRENTLY married to a Spaniard man (the blurred out face in that sketch I did of her Fate GO design because I'm going to polish his design and reveal him later), but he's not her son's father and he's not a mage.

Great guy! Absolute sweetheart who loves Fakkir and accepted Adam as his own! But he's not presently in Chaldea in this AU.

...Prior to in previous AUs when I was a wee teenager who had no cohesive grasp on writing, there might have been a reason I slapped that last name on Fakkir, but that reason is irrelevant to me now as an adult in my mid 20s.
