I feel like I should at least put something down physically... so here's a music post for my oc's.

At one point I was going to do everything privately on a slowly dying website...

but I figured If I want any attention to spread to my 'story' (that's what I'm going to call it for now because... well that's all there is. A story.), I'm going to have to post on a site that's still kicking a little.

I don't even think Dreamwidth is slowly dying, honestly, I'm just super irrelevant. But that's okay because I don't take my story seriously at all.

BLEGH

that's a topic for another post. So um... music. rIGHT.

Walking around and daydreaming scenarios of my characters is nice every once and a while, but it's literally getting me virtually nowhere. I mean I sort of can't help my MADD but I just figured if I want to get anywhere with anything I need to really get down to it.

So this post will be kinda long because I have 10 characters I'm constantly flipping through. Realistically, 5 out of those ten are in my head 90% of the time (the girls) and 3 out of those 5 make up my headspace 90% of that time. So I'm going to try to put some decent songs with them, despite how often I listen to that song and think of them.

One thing I've noticed though before I jump in, I am more of a... melodic... harmonic...sound (?) person. Like most of the time, lyrics don't apply to the character. It's more of the v i b e.

DYLAN

BREAK AWAY- KELLY CLARKSON - mmm so this is what I mean for the vibe of the song, not the lyrics. This song has nothing to do with Dylan's character, but in 2018, when I first attempted 'GAME' I had a running gag that Dylan was a Kelly Clarkson fan. When Bella and Lillian found Dylan in their basement he was blasting Breakaway and then Behind these Hazel Eyes.

LILLIAN

ANY ARIANA GRANDE SONG/COVER- I know this is extremely vague, but honestly, every song I hear of Ariana, I cannot help but think of Lillian. If my story were ever an actual show, I would BEG Ariana to voice teenage Lillian.

The Your's Truly Album is very much Lillian's sweet and soft energy. Honestly, Ariana is a huge inspo for teenage, soft Lillian. Unfortunately I don't listen to a lot of songs for Lillian's chaotic, animated side.

BELLA

FUQBOI- HEY VIOLET- This could either be a song that is sung about Bella, or one that Bella would ironically sing herself.

THEREFORE I AM- BILLIE EILISH- This song radiates Bella's energy. The confidence. The swagger. The ego. All of it is her.

EVERYBODY DIES- BILLIE EILISH- But also this song radiates Bella because she is also a sad girl in a sad world.

XANNY- BILLIE EILISH- LISTEN I KNOW ALL MY SONG PICKS SO FAR FOR HER ARE BY THE SAME ARTIST, but that's just what happens when you find a good ass artist who hits the nail on the head for all your characters v_v. So yeah, Xanny is an ironic song because Bella would take Xanny's.

IGNORANCE-PARAMORE- The vibes with Hayley's vocals just makes me think of Bella so much. I sort of imagine Bella with Hayley's voice so yep.

DON'T THREATEN ME WITH A GOOD TIME- PANIC! AT THE DISCO- wHOO PaRTy GIRL Bella. Bella is so cool guys.

JUSTIN

EARFQUAKE BUT ONLY MY VOICE- SQUALAY- SHHHhhhhhh.... it's the voice cracks. It's the voice cracks in the cover that make me think of Justin.

MARBLE SODA- SHAWN WASABI- Well, it's definitely not lyrical BUT because Justin is such a nerd, I imagine him with a drum pad... soundboard- I am so sorry I don't know what it's called I'M THE NERD. I'm the big dumb dumb v_v

Is even being able to play one of those things considered nerdy? I honestly think it's cool as hell. Anyway, the sound reminds me of Justin because it's so bubbly. (honestly, it reminds me of all my characters but whateverrrrrrr.)

SAVANNAH

AFTERSCHOOL- WEEEKLY- I actually imagine this song for the girls collectively, but every now and then, I imagine an edit of Savannah just being very adorable and herself lol. But the lyrics fits all the girls.

hmmm.... I mean, that's all I want to do for now lol. I'm glad I got that out of my system. Maybe next time I'll actually look at my playlist instead of just remembering songs for certain characters of the top of my head LOL
