Alright, so, let's see..... Headcanons meant to knock L off his pedestal of "eighth wonder of the world", "mister perfect at anything he does".
-Has horrible handwriting (sure, he wrote ok in Japanese, but that's how it is when you learn the symbols from scratch). In regular alphabet....let's say it's better that he types most of the time.
- He cannot drive, not that he needs to, not that he couldn't learn if he needed, but somehow his ability to focus is of such a nature that, while he can handle 1000 ideas coming at him all at once, traffic is another matter. That's why the helicopter was alright, cause there was no traffic up there.
- Plus, he's colorblind. White tee and jeans are safe option, cause they are sure to match, no need to fret over what shirt goes well with anything else.
- He can swim decent enough as to stay alive and not sink like a rock, but that's about it for water prowess.
- He doesn't like to read fiction, but he likes audiobooks or if I read to him.
- In the same line, he likes instrumental music, plays the piano, but he can't sing well, apart from humming a bit.
- Weirdly enough, he doesn't really like maths. Sure, he's good with data, but it's the human element, the psychological focus that interests him. Maths or physics per se are boring. Especially 3D geometry, which was always his weak subject.
....might add later , lol

Earth Shatterin!
(Or, What the ContainAtrocity muses are up to post Event.)
DUCK has been restricted to bedrest and is doing his level best to recover, with his kids, Claire, Z, and Lucy visiting and sticking around to keep him company, he's gotten in touch with his hobbies a little more than he was willing to over the last while, working on a DND campaign, playing music, and getting back into his favorite video games on his dusty old playstation, to name a few. He misses work, and feels like a burden- but slowing down has done him some good. He can walk short distances, but this has to be supplemented with a cane and his knee brace.
RUSTY has similarly been forced to stay home, largely looked after by Sissy and Cyan, he's agitated with his inability to function as he normally does, making him more snippy/argumentative than he'd like to be. He spends his free time practicing his marksmanship now, much to the chagrin of his niece and Cyan, and has a tendency to push his luck, trying to go back to work, or make his way to help with Reggie's injuries.
ABSINTHE has found himself at a crossroads, untrusting of Raziel and his intentions for the commune he convinced Ondine to take Joei and leave for town, after coming clean about his true nature: He's Abel Fulci, an exorcist, a priest- a weapon, not an unfortunate wanderer. Temptation and anger paint his hours at home, and he's spending a notably larger amount of time at the chapel and the site of his fellow priests' deaths to try and organize thoughts- and avoid the ghost from their past.
CYAN Has been doing his best to restore the intranet around the town between looking after the Boone house and keeping Rusty from running off, and helping Sissy ready up for the winter. He has similarly been working on convincing G to calm down about the earthquake, when Unnamed Garage Band gets back together for a few hours of normalcy.
KB Has once again retreated into the safety of the radio station, but this fact is largely because his home was damaged, some structural issue inside causing the rune to be dysfunctional. As he tries to puzzle out what's going on there, he's thrown himself back into trying to integrate into town- terrified instead that he might die alone, instead of at all. He's returned to doing children's puppet shows and book readings at the libraries on specific weekends.
GABE has retreated into one of his his more harmful beliefs, that he is physically incapable of suffering any harm. He is regularly scratched, bruised, or banged up in various regards, largely from spills and foolishness he could have avoided. Despite this minor backslide, he's doing his best to help with rebuilding efforts, keeping in touch with the weirdlings, Unnamed Garage Band, and Declan between attending to the apartment he shares with Edgar and assisting his roommate with his recovery and looking after the rats, as his hands are still recovering.
MERCY Having a terribly out of character change of heart, he's thrown himself into assisting with the construction efforts around town, and has proven particularly knowledgeable about making the best of minimal, or damaged supplies. While his attitude seems to remain largely self-serving, the earthquake seems to have shaken something less cold loose within him- though navigating his grandiose demeanor and cruel tongue to find it remains difficult.
WREN has stepped into the Deputy Game Warden position to pick up the slack from her father's absence, and has placed her cashier position at the food market on a temporary hold- unless asked to fill in for a coworker. Still prone to overworking herself, she's managed to find a balance, though this is likely due to the constant presence of people in and out of the Romero house lightening her load enough that she feels comfortable enough to actually take some time to herself with her friends- or get some well-needed sleep.
ZIGGY has been assisting with efforts to rebuild, doing his best to attend to the minor issues of the townspeople that mean a lot- damaged belongings that can be fixed with a little care and attention. In the spaces between work, he's been visiting Bri and gathering the courage to ask Nattie to speak with him in private- rather certain he's worked out exactly who she is after their encounter at the festival.
OCTOBER has made himself comfortable at the Commune, using his stature and personality as a cudgel against people foolish enough to ask him to mind his manners or pull his weight. While he's playing along for now, picking up chores as required, he's grown to treat the common areas like his space- simply because no one in the commune is going to stop him. He continues to hover around Quinn- who's association with Raziel means the trio are often seen together- Much to October's general chagrin.
BUTTONS has resumed the roles she's always served, a quiet place to rest, a listening ear, and a problem solver. She has busied herself with providing care packages to the injured of food, sweets, and various other home remedies she can provide, and making certain that the mischief around the people trying to get better is kept at a general minimum. She continues to offer childcare services to those who need them around town, especially those with young children now working to help care for townsfolk, or putting town back in order.
LEX continues to be the town's cold, silent observer, judging and watching those around him operate. He has made it clear that his services are available to any suffering trauma in the aftermath of the earthquake or people possibly recovering from head injuries, and his touch is notedly gentler in the wake of something fresh. He continues to drink a coffee with a splash of milk and two sugars every morning like clockwork at the diner, and being a general miser.
ROBIN Romero has been tossing things into the big ol' hole in the middle of town. He's pretty sure he's worked out where the bottom is through science. While he stays a good several feet from the edge, his fixation on it seems to be to avoid his upset about his father's 'near-death' experience.

Free Virtual Museum Tours | MasterList
1. J Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles With more than 6,000 years worth of creative treasures, the Getty is one of the best places for art on the west coast of the US. Go from neolithic clay figures to Van Gogh’s Irises and Renoir’s La Promenade – just two of many artworks that feature in the virtual tour. As with several of our selection, Google Arts and Culture offers a “museum view” tool to look inside gallery spaces, with clickable artworks presenting further information. The Getty’s sunny sculpture plaza and garden terrace are worth adding to your digital trip, via another viewing platform, Xplorit. (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/the-j-paul-getty-museum?hl=en) getty.edu 2. Vatican Museums, Rome Soaring vaulted ceilings, intricate murals and tapestries, the Vatican’s museums are creatively rich sites. Don’t forget to look up when exploring the seven spaces in the museum’s virtual tour (http://www.museivaticani.va/content/museivaticani/en/collezioni/musei/tour-virtuali-elenco.1.html), to gawp at a series of 360-degree images, including the Sistine Chapel. Wander around the rest of Vatican City with a You Visit tour that takes in Saint Peter’s Basilica and Square, complete with a tour guide narrating each interactive space. museivaticani.va 3. Guggenheim, Bilbao Frank Gehry’s sculptured titanium and steel building, on the banks of the Nervión River, is one of the world’s most distinctive art spaces. The interactive tour (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/guggenheim-bilbao) takes viewers around its collection of postwar American and European painting and sculpture – Rothko, Holzer, Koons, Kapoor – and even down between the weathered curves of Serra’s Matter of Time (turn left at the entrance). guggenheim-bilbao.eus https://www.guggenheim-bilbao.eus/en/digital-experiences 4. Natural History Museum, London From the diplodocus to the dodo, botany to butterflies, giant crystals to specimens in jars … the Natural History Museum’s vast collection has long been a favourite of both Londoners and tourists. Get lost in the corridors and gallery spaces – one treat is Dippy the dino, who despite recently going on tour still makes an appearance in the entrance hall in this interactive online guide (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/natural-history-museum) . nhm.ac.uk 5. Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam This grand museum has a vast collection of art and historical objects across 80 galleries. A 10-year renovation project was completed in 2013, transforming the space and combining elements of 19th-century grandeur with modern lighting and a new glass-roofed atrium. The interactive tour (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/rijksmuseum) helps viewers get up close to every brush stroke by Vermeer, Rembrandt and other Dutch masters while exploring the Great Hall and beyond. rijksmuseum.nl 6. National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, South Korea There are several sites making up this museum: the main gallery in Gwacheon and branches in Deoksugung, Seoul and Cheongju. The virtual tours (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/national-museum-of-modern-and-contemporary-art-korea) explore an inspiring mix of print, design, sculpture, photography, new media and other large-scale installations. From Joseph Beuys to Warhol and Nam June Paik, the collection includes an international lineup of established artists, contemporary Korean artworks and emerging names. mmca.go.kr 7. Musée d’Orsay, Paris In the former Gare d’Orsay, a Paris railway station and hotel, the musée is home to Cézanne, Monet and other French masters. Under a 138m-long curved glass roof, sits the largest collection of impressionist and post-Impressionist works in the world. The virtual tour (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/musee-dorsay-paris) also includes an online exhibition charting the history of the building. And over on Tourist Tube there’s a 360-degree view of the magnificent exterior. m.musee-orsay.fr 8. British Museum, London There are 3,212 panes of glass in the domed ceiling of the British Museum’s Great Court, and no two are the same – and the 360-degree view in this virtual tour (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/the-british-museum) lets viewers examine each and every one. Beyond this magnificent space, viewers can find the Rosetta Stone, Egyptian mummies and other ancient wonders. The museum’s interactive infographic platform, History Connected, goes into further depth of various objects with curators, along a timeline. britishmuseum.org 9. MASP, São Paulo, Brazil The Museu de Arte de São Paulo has one of the broadest historical collections available to view via its virtual gallery platform (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/masp?hl=en) , spanning from the 14th to 20th centuries. Paintings appear suspended in the air around the open-plan space, on glass panels or “crystal easels” as the museum calls them. There’s also a temporary retrospective exhibition by Brazilian pop artist Teresinha Soares beside the building’s statement red staircase. The glass and red-beam structure, built in 1968, is worth a look from the outside too, via Google Street View. masp.org.br 10. National Gallery, London A backdrop to London’s four lions in Trafalgar Square, the National is home to 2,300 publicly-owned paintings, watercolours, drawings and other European art from the 13th to the mid-20th century. There are seven exhibition spaces of Renaissance art and the Central Hall to explore in its 360-view virtual touring pages (https://www.nationalgallery.org.uk/visiting/virtual-tours/google-virtual-tour) , from portraits to large dramatic altarpieces. nationalgallery.org.uk 11. National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. This famous American art museum features two online exhibits (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/national-gallery-of-art-washington-dc?hl=en) through Google. The first is an exhibit of American fashion from 1740 to 1895, including many renderings of clothes from the colonial and Revolutionary eras. The second is a collection of works from Dutch baroque painter Johannes Vermeer. 12. Pergamon Museum, Berlin As one of Germany's largest museums, Pergamon has a lot to offer — even if you can't physically be there (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/pergamonmuseum-staatliche-museen-zu-berlin?hl=en) . This historical museum is home to plenty of ancient artifacts including the Ishtar Gate of Babylon and, of course, the Pergamon Altar. 13. Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam Anyone who's a fan of this tragic, ingenious painter can see his works up close (or, almost up close) (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/van-gogh-museum?hl=en) by virtually visiting this museum, home to the largest collection of artworks by Vincent van Gogh, including more than 200 paintings, 500 drawings, and 750 personal letters. 14. Uffizi Gallery, Florence This less well-known gallery houses the art collection of one of Florence's most famous families, the de' Medicis. The building was designed by Giorgio Vasari in 1560 specifically for Cosimo I de' Medici, but anyone can wander its halls from anywhere in the world (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/uffizi-gallery?hl=en) . 15. National Museum of Anthropology, Mexico City Built in 1964, this museum is dedicated to the archaeology and history of Mexico's pre-Hispanic heritage. There are 22 exhibit rooms (https://artsandculture.google.com/asset/the-national-museum-of-anthropology-mexico-city-ziko-van-dijk-wikimedia-commons/bAGSHRdlzSRcdQ?hl=en) filled with ancient artifacts, including some from the Maya civilization. Not all popular art museums and galleries are included in Google Arts & Culture's collection, but some have taken it upon themselves to offer online visits. For example, the Louvre offers virtual tours on its website. To see more of Google Arts & Culture's collection of museums, visit its website. There are thousands of museum Street Views (https://artsandculture.google.com/search/streetview?hl=en) on Google as well. Google Arts & Culture also has an online experience for exploring famous historic and cultural heritage sites. 16. The Louvre The Louvre may be closed, but you can still access its many treasures online. The French museum’s virtual tour takes you to some of its galleries, including into the basement ruins of the building’s original moat, which dates back to 1190. Don’t miss the Egyptian antiquities, where you can learn more about the pharaonic period. While the entire museum isn’t available as a tour, much of the collection is available as images on their website, so you and the kids can search for the most memorable works, including the Mona Lisa. Tour The Louvre (https://www.louvre.fr/en/online-tours) 17. Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History Take yourself on a tour of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, whether it’s through the temporary exhibitions or the permanent collection. Along the way, check out dinosaur skeletons, animals from around the globe and even past exhibits that are no longer on display in reality. It’s a great way to keep your kids learning about the world around them even when they can’t be in school, and there are plenty of follow-up activities or readings you can do after the tour. While you’re there, stop by the Smithsonian Castle and the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden, both of which have adjoining virtual tours. (https://naturalhistory.si.edu/visit/virtual-tour) 18. Easter Island Take things outside to Easter Island, where Google has created a virtual tour of the island’s famed statues. There’s also a short video of the island and its massive ancient creations, which could make for a good opportunity to discuss world geography with your kids. (https://artsandculture.google.com/story/4wXhfs-0ooroMQ?hl=en) 19. Monterey Bay Aquarium Who doesn’t want to look at peaceful videos of undersea life when they need a break from reality? The Monterey Bay Aquarium’s live web cams will delight both you and your young ones, especially the adorable penguin cam. To find something soothing, watch the hypnotizing moon jelly cam or the kelp forest cam, which showcases leopard sharks moving among the kelp. When the live cams aren’t running (they operate during specific hours), there are pre-recorded videos to fill in. (https://www.montereybayaquarium.org/animals/live-cams) 20. NASA Glenn Research Center Take a virtual tour of the NASA Glenn Research Center or the Space Telescope Operations Control Center, which houses the Hubble Telescope. At NASA Glenn, delve into the ballistics impact lab or the supersonic wind tunnel, which could, of course, lead to a discussion about physics that you might not be that equipped to have. Don’t worry, NASA has a lot of stuff online, making it a great resource during this time at home. The Founder and Head of the Academy, Smt. Santsree Bhattacharya, Master of Music(M.Muse.) from Bharatiya Sangeet Vidya Vihar (Allahabad Gharana), had a dream to open a music academy where students, especially the children who can learn music properly. The name given by herself is not that much simple as we simply assume and she made the same true. In 2002 Smt. Bhattacharya successfully started her Academy at Ankleshwar. After Ankleshwar, the 2nd success came true in Bharuch with lots of students joined in it. Smt. Bhattacharya and her musically blessed son Mr. Sawan have been jointly running the institution at the Surat Center with greater credibility and leading the voyage of providing musical education to all aspiring students.

I let you see me naked. Truly naked; mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I bared myself to you. I let your hands trace over wounds that I hid before I trusted you and we sat as I told you the stories of people you would never wish to meet, but I did. Of places you would never wish to go, but I visited.
Of experiences I would never wish upon you, but I survived.
Of the person you would never wish to know, but I was. I let you see beneath the sheet of the person that I let others see, and you stayed. Unmoved by what I thought would make you leave. You bundled me in your arms, and I felt unknown wounds fade. In that moment I knew, this love would never leave me the same.
Loving you was a beautiful change

“How do I know you’re right for me? I immediately felt calm in your presence ~ I feel at home in your arms ~ loving you is one of the easiest and most natural things I’ve ever done. And we’re only just getting started.”
__________
I never had a chance of not falling for you. Calling it “falling” feels too cruel, it was more like floating. Something entirely otherworldly but comfortably consuming. Something that made hiding feel futile, and the usual thumping of my heart become a rhythmic tap. Such a gentle landing I did have into loving you.
You made sure of it. You made it easy.

How is L not a good person
Well, anon, thanks for the ask, in the first place.
Now, it's more than obvious that i love him to death, I'm not in any other fandom, i don't have any other fictional loves at the moment, so my emotional position concerning him is painfully clear.
That being said, he is obviously morally gray at best. Starting from:
(1) his choice of cases. If he were truly a good person, he would be genuinely interested in solving cases for humanity's sake, but no, he only picks cases that give him a thrill, or have high stakes (in money or number of victims). So, his primary drive is selfishness and/or gratification. It can also be argued that he is just One person after all, and thus he Has to pick his cases, he's not a machine to be able to (have time to) solve every single thing thrown his way. But still, he is more interested in the puzzle of it than helping the people involved.
(2) His ginormous ego. Like......godlike huge, even if he lowkey has the right to it, given his intelligence, means and power scope. However, he is only 24-25 and has been treated as this awe-inspiring machine all his life, being radically different from most people out there, whom he may perceive, on some level, and not entirely unjustly so, as inferior. His emotional development is waaay behind his IQ, so the sulking child in him often demands his rights.
(3) his more than questionable methods. By his own admission, he has stepped outside of the law, being The Law, being Justice itself. He is not above torturing people, physically and emotionally, with complete disregard for human rights (especially see Misa). I am not talking about how he used Lind L. Tailor to die in his place, since his death was already scheduled. I am somewhat talking about how in the Yotsuba arc he was willing to let people die so he could gather more data.
(4) He acts cruel and insensitive bordering on offensive towards people who help him. I'm mainly thinking of poor Matsuda... (although, now that I think of L's roundabout way of conveying things, may well be that he actually likes Matsuda and he pesters and belittles him like you do with younger siblings hehe)
He is not cold blooded though, not by far, he did take ample precaution measures to ensure the safety, welfare and financial security of the task force members....and the way he basically bled emotionally for Ukita....
So. He is a very complex, flawed, imperfect man, but....should people be perfect in order to have our love?..... not from where i stand.

I see the wolf beneath the skin // Hear the Devil's Violin // A secret heaven in hiding // Can't find the silver lining.
Mercy Wainwright: Jester Magician/Bard
-Costume from img 1 -Makeup from img 2 (no contacts) -Mask and frill from img 3 -All in blue/silver tones to match his usual color language.
Electing to use the faire to busk, Mercy's costume is certainly in no small part using pieces of his usual performance garb with the cirque. Playing violin as well as performing his usual acts of magic, escapist feats, sword eating/fire swallowing and knife throwing/juggling, it's more out of a desire to do his hobbies again than anything relating to money- something to keep his skills sharp when the opportunity arises. Electing to loiter around the shops and food stalls most of the event due to the high volume of foot-traffic, He's regularly unmasked- painting his face black, blue and silver to continue the appearances when the grinning visage of the Jester is taken off.

James Tissot
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Southampton City Art Gallery

Proyecto Bocetos  03
LABELLEZA DE RELACIONARSE
Relaciones afectivas en el ser humano
ESTEPHANIA TINOCO CORDOBA

May I be the one to see you? I mean, truly see you.
May I be the one to explore the parts of you that you have silenced in fear of being judged: may I know the thoughts that swirl through your mind in your most silent moments: may I learn the lines of your favourite songs so that we can sing them together as we drive with no destination in mind; May I become your safe space: may my chest feel like home and a place for you to rest your head to relieve yourself of the weight that life has placed on your shoulders: and may I help you untie the knots of experiences that feel too difficult to deal with because you have had to do it alone.
May I…
May I love you in ways that you didn't think were possible because you haven't been shown real love?
