what happened to your rp blog?

Hi there! Wow, didn't expect to get this question! Unfortunately, it is on an indefinite hiatus now.

I made a whole new separate blog for my Kingdom Hearts RPs, @lumen-et-tenebrae , I even added info pages and fancy tags and everything! But then I was dealing with school stuff as well as doing private RPs with buddies on Discord (which still happens occasionally), but as we're all growing up and dealing with grown-up stuff, these hobbies, as much as we love them, have to be put on the back burner.

Even though I've graduated from college, I still haven't returned to my KH blog, though I am still semi-active on @ask-thefaerie-and-theraven and @vengeance-crxwned . I still very much love Kingdom Hearts and role-playing in general (as well as Xehanort and all his incarnations), I'm even doing a KH3 playthrough for a good friend of mine. I just haven't had the energy to maintain an entire blog for a good while now.

Anon, if you were someone who followed Xeha's adventures or even a RP partner/friend of mine, thank you for thinking back on that time. It was chaotic and one heck of a roller-coaster of emotions.

Ventus had always enjoyed stargazing. If he wasn’t in his room at night, Aqua and Terra could often find him asleep under the stars. Aqua would chide him – tell him that he’d catch his death – but it was never overly cold. It was just so calming to lay there beneath the stars. He remembered asking Terra about the stars – about where the light came from.

He’d learned so much since then – experienced so much.

The sound of footsteps brought him from his thoughts and he sat up, turning his head to what he assumed would be either Terra or Aqua. Xehanort. It was the younger version, but it was still him. Ventus jumped to his feet and summoned his keyblade.

“You!”

He was too tired to move, the war was over, the stupid war he was controlled to be a part of. Even in death his creator chained him and made him suffer as he had managed to break away a piece of the metal melted to his face, he had managed to break some of the chains and escape after what felt like years dragging him down but now he was entangled in the overgrowth.

Vines clinging to the chains that strangled his body as his front half of his body laid on the ground, inhaling dirt unlike the precious oxygen he would rather love to be breathing as he coughed now and then, rattling the chains. His lower half suspended slightly above the ground as the chains were caught by some low hanging branches and the shrubbery. Frankly he couldn’t get loose from the chains without a touch from the light itself and he’d be dammed before he went to the guardians.

His first instinct is to argue, of course, that he’s not that small - but one shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Especially if that horse is giving you a complement, sort of, and furthermore you happen to be particularly proud of that trait in particular. Yes, he is quite the voice of reason, thank you for noticing, it’s about time somebody did - never mind the fact that consciences were designed to be ignored. 

Doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy having his work pointed out from time to time.

See (what the hell should I call it?) dual earworms (?) are really odd at times. The previous one, Where Is My Mind (Pixies)/Cigarette Duet (Princess Chelsea) was one heck of a vibe, but my current one is wild. Cirice (Ghost)/Lumen et Tenebras (Nick Vasallo).

Thankfully it's not a blend of raw sound or even the lyrics, but a blend of vibes, if you will. I don't know why my brain works like this, but as far as music is concerned, I don't mind too much. It's just, well, odd.

      The silver-haired teen tried so DESPERATELY to keep everything out of his head. He worked hard to fight against what was being told to him tight might drown him in the ocean of his own mind, but even that level of fighting wasn’t enough. 

       When would it EVER be enough . . .?

       Callused fingers curl into his fist as his aquamarine hues reflect a FIERCE light, unlike anything that Xehanort had ever seen before. “I won’t be silenced. . .” He growled under his breath as he dug his nails into the palms of his hand. He wouldn’t summon his keyblade yet,  he’d give it time. He could destroy this with words rather than just with actions.  

     “You can’t keep me quiet, no matter what you do.” He could feel Xehanort underestimating him. Fine, whatever, he was used to the WORLD underestimating him, but there was something else that was itching at his mind. Maybe today was the day that Riku had finally had enough of people doubting him or trying to keep him silenced for how he felt? He finally SNAPPED.

Something like apprehension gave him a sense of restlessness in his body as he portaled into Where Nothing Gathers. It seemed the only area of the castle that hadn’t changed since his joining the new, real Organization. The reason for his apprehension was the man sitting on the throne high above all the others. Master Xehanort. The great puppet master behind all that had transpired over the past decade and more. The man who’s heart he carried a piece of. 

He had only just woken up after having his heart taken again, and been told that he should report to “the Master” in the throne room. He had been given only sparse information about the man, enough to know that he was not one to take lightly. Not that Saix would have, anyway. He wasn’t stupid. Of course the one person behind all of this would be someone to fear. 

The portal had taken him directly into his own seat which seemed to be in roughly the same position as it had been back in the original Organization, but Master Xehanort somehow seemed to be seated higher up than even Xemnas had. 

“I was told to report to you,” Saix said once he was seated, glancing up at the man.
