An unfinished Linked Universe / Zelda 1&2 animatic.

I forgot I'd made this!!! I'd gotten to a point where I realized I wanted to understand Hyrule's games better before continuing, so I stopped. Not sure if I'll return to it but I think what's here is pretty cool and worth sharing!

Linked Universe is from @linkeduniverse. The song is Run Boy Run by Woodkid.

The song works so well for Rulie aAAAA!!! The imagery around Hyrule is so fun to play with, too! Red, and blood, and hands, and eyes, and fire, and gold, and the triforce- it's all so good!

Linked Universe Animatic | No Children (The Mountain Goats)

It's another Legend animatic.

I delved into this in the description, but I really wanted to showcase Legend's relationship with religion.

Using Hylia as a vessel of course.

It's complicated because he hates all the goddesses. To his core.

And he's not as devoted as Sky.

In fact he's not really devoted at all, but the goddesses are still very real deities.

Legend has come to accept this, but that doesn't mean he likes them.

The goddesses, in Legend's eyes, have caused so much hurt to him, his family, his friends, and the other heroes.

It's really complicated and sad, but that's why I love it.

Legend LU animatic idea I thought of a couple years ago but I don't animate :D

State of Dreaming - Marina and the Diamonds

Millions of girls float on their one quote Living on their last hope, on their last hope (Legend going on his first adventure) I live my life inside a dream Only waking when I sleep I would sell my sorry soul if I could have it all (flashbacks to traumatizing events *uncle dying, saving Zelda, fighting battles*)

My life is a play, is a play, is a play (preparing boat for Koholint. He wants an escape. Looks sad and depressed and tired.) My life is a play, is a play, is a play (crashing storm. On the last "is a play" it zooms into his eye as thunder crashes)

Yeah, I've been living in the state of dreaming (show Koholint. Clouds swirling above) Living in a make-believe land Living in the state of dreaming, of dreaming, of dreaming (show artist and writers names of the animatic. background is shots of the beaches of Koholint)
