TRANNY FLAG ♾️
(requested by @lovelesstranniedykefaggot)
Black: in memoriam of the trans people whose lives were claimed by hatred. Dark blue: the joy of finally discovering your true self Magenta: making the choice to accept yourself no matter what, even if it means losing loved ones Light blue: borrowed from the blue stripes in the transgender flag. Pink: borrowed from the pink stripes in the transgender flag. White (stripe only): borrowed from the white stripes in the transgender, genderqueer, and nonbinary flags.
The ouroboros, a snake that eats its own tail for all eternity, represents two things: the never-ending cycle of self-discovery we all experience as we learn and grow, and our inability — our refusal — to be stamped out of existence. It is scientifically impossible to eradicate us, no matter how hard some people will try.
Its single fang is a reminder that, whether we're fighting against dysphoria, fascism, or harmful myths about ourselves, we're not helpless to defend ourselves.
The stripes of this flag are warped and glitched out — by the ouroboros, as it slices through the white center — to symbolize the way we inherently challenge gender norms and society's expectations, pulling them apart at the seams and turning them back into thread, which we can weave a new tapestry with together. Before we can build a better foundation, we have to break free from the institutional restrictions that hold us back.

my identity is hated by so many bc of aphobia, queerphobia transphobia, homophobia etc.
(in case youre curious i identify as a pan lesbian oriented aroace semi binary tran woman/transfemme/nothing or if im feeling nasty/vibes right heartless soulless sexless asexi faerie (and many other reclaimed slurs) +my username suffices.)
anyways aside from that im not sure if youve explicitly said yes or no to this but do you think "pannie" is a slur? (its fine if you dont have an exact answer im just curious.)
hi again! so when it comes to pannie being a slur or not, i don't really have an opinion on it tbh. and i'm cool with however others want to categorize it in good faith. i will say though that i find it utterly ridiculous that some people (*cough* panphobes *cough*) get mad or mocking when people do call it a slur. like, if people use a word as a slur, use it in place of a neutral word solely to express hatred/contempt/ill will/violence/etc. about a group of marginalized people, it's probably gonna get called a slur, ya know? so i get why people call it a slur and i get why non-panphobes might not think of it with the severity that tends to come to mind with the word slur, i just don't have a personal stance on it one way or the other.

i really like that post you made abt 3 yrs back about the relation between "pannie" (sorry if i shouldnt say that idk) and the t-slur (idk why im censoring myself when its in my name but whatev.) it was really interesting but also completely unsurprising that a transphobic queerphobic lesbian separatist likely made it up.
i'm glad you like it! i thought it was funny i just stumbled across that article and it validated everything pan folks have been saying about the word and discredited everything panphobes have said about it. but yeah, not surprising the word that sounds like a transphobic slur has transphobic history.
