I watched Megamind last night, heavily medicated

Here are the notes I started taking part-way through when I realized I needed to make a post about this.

megamind is actually a good movie? and so galaxy brain?? lets talk abt this

-hal "I'm the good guy" "you are a good guy, hal"

-gebder ? (im high?) your both pretty, hal and mega both less masculine), roxanne being treated like that by all the male characters, not surprised abt hal not supposed to kick up a fuss, hal as titan still apologetic/passive but look more masc,

--megamind wanting to be "normal" [poverty, race, crimal record, see other tumblrs on this]

-roxan falls in love w this strange, shy, kind man who is unassuming and not peak masc (comp metroman) , all personality traits that mega has but tries to hide; gender rolls reversed for the romance ?

also as a kid I didn't realize they WERE ACTUALLY DATING?? i thought they were like pretending to he slving the megamind problem lol but rhey're like openly dating. that's... worse

-dont look at me (restaurant) less funny now?

-rain scene amaz. garbage popping up? poetic cinema; judging a book,, i cry; what could you possibly hope to gain... did you think id ever be w you? no;

-all your gifts, all your powers, and ypu squander them for your own personal gain...

--he is that awkward self-conscious nerd and he's just good at showman ship. (THEME) he doesn't actually have the confidence and egoism he projects, he doesn't believe himself to have "gifts" or "powers"

--im also the intellectual dweeb that's dating roxanne "this one's for stealing my girlfriend'

-why did mega-as-bernard seem like he owns a vintage computer

I have no idea where I was going with this, but it was going to be fantastic
