Grier hadn't been intending on meeting the Chapter Master, but here they were. At least it was on the slightly more neutral territory of Ash's ship.
Darius' helmet lens bore into Grier. The giant remaining silent, simply judging the other astartes.

"Okay, so I'm supposed to be working for you. When does the work start, or the training, or something." -Valentine
"Oho! That's not how this works. I figured you'd enjoy the downtime. I mean, you can help me with paperwork, if you want."
Bidwell drums his pen on his desk. They're in the very top of a very tall building- Mann Co's Perth Headquarters. Bidwell's office is TECHNICALLY an alcove next to Saxton Hale (the CEO)'s office, but his office is actually bigger. It has a nicer view over the Swan River and the ocean and it reeks of professionalism.. mostly because it isnt plastered with stuffed yeti heads.

There was a small knock at Runar's door. Ash had come to collect him, to help explain and set some ground rules.
Runar tried to remember how to open the door, the strange button was it? He thought, happy to see that he was right as the door slid open.
"Ah, feeling well I presume. You drank a lot last night my generous host." Runar spoke with his silky smooth tone, keeping a close observant eye on Ash as he backed away to let the smaller man enter.

"Okay, but why do you want me to do that?" -Ash
"The collar? Well I thought it would be a great pinch of spice to our routine! Put on would you?" Matthew smirks, holding out a rather bulky collar in his hands.
He smiled down at Ash with a predatory gleam in his eyes, would you really trust a chaos space marine asking you to put on a collar?

Valentine panted hard, their nose was definitely bleeding and their head was pounding. They had been able to keep the rubble from crushing them with the help of their ally, with their abilities. The omnic had helped some too, but now they were at a point where they couldn't shift the rubble anymore without the fear of causing the little pocket they were in together to collapse. They would need to wait for retrieval.
The flow of blood from their nose wasn't slowing they needed to take care of that, usually they would never take off their helmet while in the field let alone in front of a near stranger, but it would be incredibly embarrassing if they let themself pass out from a nosebleed. Valentine found a suitable place to sit, they couldn't really go to far from the omnic there simply wasn't the space too. They slowly reached up and disconnected their helmet from the rest of their armor before removing it. Then they pinched their nose in the way they had been shown to stop the bleeding. - Valentine for Setesh
Setesh had managed to crawl out from some of the collapsed rubble with Val's help before they had taken to moving parts of the ruin Valentine was holding up to form a bit of a dome around them. They had taken to building a net of hard light, something they hadn't done before in this manner, in an attempt to give them a second layer of protection if required. It left small shimmering blue strands between some sections of stone.
The structure was as stable as they could manage to make it, for now. Setesh had concluded such. However, anything from the outside could change that. For now, though, all they could do was wait and try to recover at least a little bit. Not even their slicers could reach them in this mess and their hard light generators had been spent in their effort to keep Valentine from being the only thing keeping them both from getting crushed to death. The damage done to them during the mission had proven too much for them to last long past that.
Their cooling systems pumped from the aftermath of combat, hot air being chilled down to the best of their body's ability while they sat aside, much like Valentine, as far away from their ally as the small space available to them would allow.
The air between the two was filled with empty space, silence. Neither seemed to want to talk and Setesh didn't mind that one bit. They only briefly changed the focus of their optics when Valentine removed their helmet. Ay least, it was meant to be briefly.
What followed was a rather obvious double take, obvious for Setesh's rather subtle doing, though Setesh still didn't say anything.

"Oh you're looking for some kind of item. You'll have to be specific I can get my hands on anything. Don't get me wrong but I do need to know what I'm looking for." from Ash
Eban leaned back as their smile twitched down as they never liked the process of asking for themselves. At least in the process of resetting up their life. Closing their one eye, they leaned back as the chair creaked under them as their weight shifted. Since the raid on the last xenos market, things have been more complicated then Eban wanted to admit. Out loud anyways. And there were favors they wanted to keep for larger deals and get out of trouble cards. Between something for heavy lifting, keeping dangerous occupants, own safety, information packets, fake credentials to slip by the law. Breathing out they ruffle their unruly hair as they relax the strain on the chair to rock back forward.
"Personally I could probably look at getting stasis field or three. Not the most exciting but I am looking to set up shop again and hah you know there are some weird nobles out there who want exotic animals and plants. As well as folks who want to study more questionable specimens." Setting an arm on the table before them, they give a lazy grin. "You know the freaks and weirdos... ah.." Remembering who they are talking to and the myths and legends around some rogue traders, they wave their hand as if blowing away smoke. Nervous laughter escaped them as their face wrinkled into an apologetic squint, "Not you of course, nor your great house. Heard nothin' but the cleanest of whispers." Reaching into their over coat they searched for their pack of lo-sticks to pull one out and fail to find their lighter where it should be. Shifting their hand to the other side there was an upset screeching as the merchant pulled their lighter from the clutches of a very upset ptera-squirrel. The upset squabbling continued as it emerged to try to take back it's stolen treasure. Swiftly lighting their lo-stick and handing the battered trinket back to their rodent friend. "So how much might this cost me, and in what currency will you accept my star faring friend?" A scent of smoky strawberries curl about lazily in the air from their lo-stick.

@looking-for-lost-stars
Leondas could ignore it no longer. The burning heat had only grown worse as the night went on, and it had only begun. He had attempted to satisfy himself shortly after awakening at dusk. With how tightly his pants fit against his groin, it were as if he'd done no such thing.
He paused by a tree, pressing a hand against it as he groaned softly. Thoughts of a lover flooded his mind, their flesh against his, bodies intertwining, catching one another's breath... But there was no lover for him. Only an aching desire he decided he must fulfill himself.
He made quick work at unbuckling his trousers. Leaning against the trunk of the tree, he'd already begun to stroke himself slowly as he slid down to the ground. HIs mouth parted in a faint moan, his eyes closing in bliss. He hadn't even considered that he might not be alone. HIs normally heightened senses were clouded by his overwhelming desire.

@looking-for-lost-stars asked: “You shouldn’t be here.” - Faerenn for Sparrow
Ashamed as he is to admit it, Sparrow started at the voice. This land’s magic was vastly different to Albion’s, it set his teeth on edge. It surprised him that he longed for the faint pulsing of the Spire (that which wasn’t attuned to the beating of his heart and Will), and it certainly surprised him that he wavered on wishing to return to home. “Where exactly is here, then?” His tone was curt. Perhaps he should have learned more about where he arrived before wandering, but Sparrow was never one for gathering information.

Ash was now sprinting back to his shuttle. He had left to finish up one last thing when he had noticed the armed men heading that way. Cassius had been helping Breaker onto the shuttle at this point when Ash made his way on board in an obvious panic. The airlock slamming behind him. "I'm so sorry about this." Was all Ash said before heading to the controls. Without another word he took off, not bothering to strap himself in.
“What-what the hell are you doing?” Cassius had just finished strapping Alda into a crash seat and barely processed what ash was doing before the floor lurched beneath him and he had to snatch at the nearest handhold to keep from falling on top of her.
“I can’t go to your ship!” He wheeled around to shout at Ash’s back as soon as he could regain even a little balance, “I have work-patients to see!”
The roar of the shuttle engines was deafening, he wasn’t even sure Ash could hear him hollering over it and he grabbed for a grip overhead, dragging himself against their acceleration towards the pilots seat.

"Put me down!" Ash hissed out as he hit at Kastor's back.
Kastor ignored the human struggling. He wasn't going to break his grip even with all the useless wiggling, and even if he did it would have been pointless, it wasn't as if the pathetic creature was going to run away.
At least he was already more talkative than he had been when Kastor first found him in the Kakaphoni's chambers. Clearly there was something special enough about this human for Tyr to have kept it around so long and if it wouldn't speak then finding out what would be much more difficult. This time he did not intend to be interrupted either.
It was unusual for Kastor to avoid his brothers, but when he did the empty bays once used for tanks and transports were usually dull enough that no one would bother to wander in. The corridors down here were relatively neglected as well, darker and dingier with much less of the gold molding and fantastical decoration found in the decks above.

"Don't touch me! Or I'll stab you again!" From Valentine
Bidwell holds a towel to a wound in his side, just under his ribs. He has a plate of pancakes in his other hand, and he looks at Valentine coldly.
"So- just a question, did they lull you into a false sense of security by cooking you a delicious meal at Talon? Because to be frank with you, I don't understand why else you would be acting like this. Can I set the bloody plate down, please?"

"Wait you want to know about, food I miss? Why?" -Aah
"What food dearie? Surely it can not top what I can make for you right now and here!" Matthew scoffed, slightly offended by the suggestion that he couldn't just whip up an alternative.

Ash had felt this coming on for several days now. He'd hoped it would be something minor and it would pass and he'd be fine. That was not the case however, he was now tossing and turning. He could tell he had a fever, shivering despite the blankets covering him. Not to mention the throbbing headache. Not to mention the cough that kept wracking his entire body. He was no longer able to really move around at all, and thus had been laying in Tyr's bed for several hours, falling in and out of consciousness.
Ferox was expecting to find Ash jumping out of his skin with Tyr gone, not lying in bed. At first he thought he was asleep, until he coughed-a sound he didn’t need Tyr’s implants to hear the painful edge to. Checking on Ash was something he’d been more than willing to do, but he’d not actually though about what he would do if anything was actually wrong.
He stared down at Ash, something certainly seemed to be wrong. Ash looked especially small in the middle of the giant bed amongst the Astarte’s sized pillows and the mess of soft bedding. Coughing was not normal, neither was shivering, not when the room was this warm at least.
“Hmm, Ash?” Ferox crouched down, leaning onto the bed to get a closer to him. He smelled off too, a sharp note that made his lip twitch.

“It’s not a big deal. It wasn’t that bad.” Valentine for Najma
"I...don't know if I would agree with you on that. You may have been there for it, but I have the medical records related to this mission," Najma said while looking over a series of mission files within the clean and sterile white room of the medical wing of the facility.
They paused on one section covering injuries, displaying a series of notes and images. "The amount of blood found on your equipment was rather alarming. You will be required to go through a medical screening. Once that is done, you will be monitored for the possible development of complications."

“How is this growing here, I don’t understand?” -Ash
"Special seedbed and these light fixtures." Eban says as they nervously touch on the machete before moving their hand to the long handled trimmers. Its not the first time they have seen this kind of set up. Slowly cutting the gnarled brambles out of the way as the dim glow of the power tool dips in and out of the thick leaves. The orange glow of burnt leaves shimmer in the dark as they burn away from the power field with fain snaps and pops. Pushing the rebreather back into place to keep any strange plant material out of their mouths and nose, they step further in. Lifting a foot to a high point on the waist height bushes, they crush down the remains to continue forward. Carefully moving to make sure they can keep their fitting on the springy flooring of dying branches and plant matter. Tugging their jacket free from the grasping branches, they call back over their shoulder. "I can always get the materials for this kind of set up for a price."
