I went for a sunrise shoot at Niagara Falls a couple weeks ago and ended up shooting a moon set photo instead. . What was interesting about this place was the moon was visible in the same direction the sun would be when it rose, so I didn’t even have to change locations. . When you visit Niagara Falls, we tend to always focus on the grandeur of the Falls. However seeing the Falls with a 200mm focal length means I can focus on one particular area of the Falls, bringing in more attention to the areas that most people will likely not even notice in the bigger picture. . The crack in the ice and snow here got my attention, in addition to the sunlight shining through the trees on the top left making an almost angelic feel to this photo. .
