How did Sun and Moon become separate bots? Or were they always separate in your AU?

After the events of the main game and Fazbear gave the order to have the pizzaplex demolished, there was some attempt to salvage what remained in there, including the still intact robots like the daycare attendant.

Sun (and Moon) would have been in a bit of a hazy daze after the virus lifted, not really all there. After having spent so long with a foreign code in their system treating them like a puppet it was almost surreal to be yourselves again.

So when Sun got the ping to come down to parts and service he just simply followed the order. He was numb and didn't really think or care much what became of them.

Until they took Moon out.

For whatever reason, whether they wanted to scrap Moon and keep Sun or simply were pulling them out individually for decommission didn't matter - they took Moon and Sun fought back viciously to get him back again.

With the staff fled or killed Sun is left with Moon's chip. He can't put Moon back into his own head because the p&s machine requires a separate person to operate the computer, so he goes and does a lot of digging around and finds a backup endo for their model that is still intact. He places it in the cylinder, operates the computer and Boom Moon got a new body.

Needless to say when Moon wakes up he is very confused and initially panicky because he can't sense Sun in his head. They don't let go of each other for a long time after.

Eventually they both head back to the daycare area and stay there, not really knowing what to do (until a certain dragon shows up sometime later)

Your Bloodmoon reminds me of Stitch. Only they don't have extra arms.

..also i do happen to own a giant purple stitch plush so i'm gonna say that Bloodmoon would have one too in their room

Does Jack-o-Moon have a nickname? Like Jacko? Or does everyone just call them by their full formal title?

I've noticed Jacko is a common nickname (i use it myself often) but he's not fussy on formalities (he doesn't even know what they are) so feel free to call him by his full name or some shortened variant of it (Jack, Jacko, Moon, O'Moon etc)

Has your dragon met other dragons?

They have yes! Their parent is a dragon, and they have met other dragons though usually briefly as there are a very few of them who do live near human and even fae/cryptid communities. Dragons are mostly solitary or live in small groups around mountainous regions.

But since Bloo/Bloodmoon is part fairy (fairy dragon) they are a little more drawn to social spaces/communities but are still pretty avoidant of large ones (like cities or big towns for example)

Are cryptids commonplace in your AU, or is Bloodmoon the only one?

There are yes! This is a world setting where cryptids and other faery folk are more well known to exist (including mers and my own personal race of flower people i'm calling Florans which are semi fae folk- more on that later as i have a little original thing i'm working on ;D)

In some parts, especially urban places people would still assume they are a myth as most cryptids arn't all that open about their existence (and for good reason hunters are a very real thing still) but there can be whole communities of them living in towns or villages where they can either blend in with humans or live in relative peace away from them
