#literally don't speak of boruto to me I don't care

How can you say that Sakura is the only girl who's strikingly beautiful in Naruto, where you have to do a double take? I'm sorry but that's ridiculous, and your overall bias for Sakura was made very evident. And then bringing up canon moments where she was called beautiful as if that is supposed to change the viewer's perspective of her beauty. Bella Hadid was named the most beautiful woman in the world by scientists but I know plenty of people who find other women like Adriana Lima and Margot Robbie more beautiful.
There are scenes like Ino's introduction during Sasuke shinden's anime adaptation (she looked much more beautiful than sakura), hinata during her talk with iruka in the sunset, or even the introduction of the raikage's assistant mabui. Yes, beauty is very much subjective but I feel that you should at least try to not be biased for once lmfao. I can't believe you can't call Ino beautiful without reducing her beauty to "sex appeal" all because you hate that Sakura's character design is simply not better or prettier than hers. Then you went on and made that thread where you talked about genin sakura's (a 12 year old) ass..ugh. gross. look up sakura haruno boruto settei sheet, she's flat in the butt. you can try and catch her at an angle but who tf cares, in reality her character's design doesn't have a big butt. Tall and lean is fine too.
When did I ever say that Sakura is "the only girl who's strikingly beautiful in Naruto"? I dare you to highlight exactly where I said that. I am very aware of what I have or haven't said, and I know that not once did I ever say that Anon, so don't make shit up. This is the one and only time I'm even gonna bother putting any effort into answering bullshit like this, because an Anon like you who can't even speak publicly isn't even worth the time to prove this nonsense.
Now then, let me educate you on a few things about me since you clearly just have an agenda against me, and don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
Firstly, I have said many times, that I actually think that Kurenai was the most attractive woman in the series, or at the very least, the one who was mostly my type. And yet you're here claiming that I apparently said that Sakura is "the only girl who's strikingly beautiful in Naruto"? Get your facts straight.
In this post, I clarified that I didn't have a straight answer for who I thought the most beautiful girl was, but I then revealed that Kurenai was the one who was most my type, and how I was also fond of Anko and Konan's designs, not Sakura.
I only reiterated this point during this post, where I also revealed that Anko and Konan were in 2nd and 3rd places respectively. So again, not Sakura.
I gave further explanations for the above during this post.
In this post, I answered that if I were to date someone in the Narutoverse, it would again be between Anko, Konan and Kurenai, but I ultimately went with Anko at the time due to her personality.
In this post a little over 3 years later, my opinion had somewhat changed, and when asked who I would marry, I selected either Kurenai or Hanabi. Again, not Sakura.
And yet, you're here claiming that I have some form of apparent deep bias for Sakura? Know who you're talking to before making these stupid assertions. Otherwise, if the person you're accusing actually knows and remembers what they say, they'll very easily be able to expose your ignorance, as I have just done.
Secondly, not once did I ever reduce Ino's beauty to sex appeal. I'm assuming you're referring to this post. In which case, not only did I once again reiterate that I actually found Kurenai to be the most attractive woman in the series because she was mostly my type, but I did not say that Ino's sex appeal was all she had. I clarified that if we were ranking them based solely on their sex appeal, then Ino would top my list. But that clearly does not mean that I don't find her beautiful or that she had nothing other than her sex appeal. I literally only said that I probably found her to be the sexiest woman in the series, that's it. It's actually amazing how you can take what is very clearly me giving Ino a very big compliment, and desperately try to twist it into something negative due to your juvenile agenda against me. It's not going to work.
Thirdly, during that same post, I clarified that in terms of the written material, I found Sakura's depictions specifically from Sakura Hiden, to be the most beautiful depictions of any woman in the series. That was my opinion on the matter. I still find Kurenai to be the most attractive, but I cannot deny that Sakura was drawn beautifully for Sakura Hiden.
I reiterated that during this post, where not only did I list Ino first among the list of kunoichi who I found to be really beautiful (shocking right???), not only did I reiterate once again that I found Kurenai to be the most attractive because she was the one who was most my type, but I clarified that the most beautiful portrayal of a female character I had seen in the series, were Sakura's specific depictions for Sakura Hiden, nothing more.
I said the same thing during this post.
And what do you glean from that? That I apparently said that "Sakura is the only girl who's strikingly beautiful in Naruto!". Fucking hell man.
Fourthly...
And then bringing up canon moments where she was called beautiful as if that is supposed to change the viewer's perspective of her beauty.
When did I say anything about how that should change anyone's opinions on the matter? Especially when as I have already proven multiple times above, I find Kurenai, Konan and Anko to be personally more attractive than Sakura? You're just spouting such nonsense, and you're ignoring the context of why I brought up who was stated to be beautiful in the series. It's because it is the only objective metric we have to see who's physical attractiveness was highlighted the most in the series. Therefore, in terms of the amount of compliments to their physical attractiveness, canonically speaking, Sakura ranks 2nd in the series, behind only Sasuke. Does that change the fact that I consider Kurenai, Konan and Anko to be more attractive? No.
Lastly, with regards to the post I made highlighting Sakura's ass, the Anon sent me that ask in response to this ignorant Anon trying to put Sakura down while elevating Hinata, and said that Hinata had more of an ass than Sakura, and tried to further put Sakura down by claiming that she apparently has a flat ass, just like you're trying to do here. So I made that post proving that yes, Sakura does have an ass, and catching her at angles isn't necessary to prove that. I also love how you tried to shame me by saying how I was talking about a 12 year old's ass (as if the majority of it wasn't about her Part 2 and adult self), while completely missing the entire point of the post. I was simply proving a point, so blame the Anon (and others like you) who try to put Sakura down by claiming how she's flat in all areas. Because without such ignorant posts, then a post like my response would have never been needed.
Now then, I'll say this once more - know your audience before accusing them of anything, because I always know what I say, and I can always prove it. So you're not gonna get away with accusing me of bullshit. Now I don't know what kind of agenda you have against me, or why you were so triggered by me praising Sakura's depiction for Sakura Hiden, but get over it because I always found Kurenai, Konan and Anko to be the most attractive women in Naruto.

My opinion towards Sakura's haters and Naruto fandom
Ok... some things about Sakura's haters... let's see:
They hate her if she stays with Sasuke. They hate her if she moved on and fell for Naruto. They hate her if she tries and fails. They hate her if she does nothing. They just hate her, Sakura and Hinata are the unwanted child and the Golden child! No matter what Hinata does...whether she succeeds, fails, saves the day, or even nearly causes everyone to die including herself....she is praised, lifted up, and seen as a goddess. Meanwhile...Sakura can literally cure poisons that noone can, fighting a villian on her own, and even save people's lives including the main characters...and she is seen as a piece of crap.
Sasuke and Naruto are somewhat the same in this perspective. If Naruto doesn't forgive and such...he is seen as a bad guy. If Sasuke kills or even attempts to kill even his own family members...then he is seen as a "lost soul that needs to be saved." It is amazing how the main character and his main love interest are treated WORSE than the people who make either no impact or are the antithesis to their very existence.
I think one reason why they really hate Sakura, especially for some of these modern girls....is because she represents them and they hate the mirror. THEY fall in love with the bad guy who is abusive and make excuses. THEY treat the actual nice guy like crap and friendzone him. THEY try to make the nice guy be with another girl because they want him to go with someone else to get of their way. THEY refuse to make the f-boi responsible. And what happens? They are left by the F-boi to raise his kid on her own with no money, debt, and ultimate stress and still have the nerve to make excuses for it. The only way this could be MORE realistic is if Naruto became successful and Sakura tried to hit on him again because she is penniless and homeless and needs his money and success to "save her."  And that is just sad. Sakura is TOO realistic for them so they hate her.
Now, tell me: What is so wrong with Sakura moving on to Naruto? What is so wrong with Hinata not ending up with Naruto? They can't say it is because they don't want to see them suffer because they didn't care how Naruto suffered with everything.  And speaking of Naruto...all that suffering...meant NOTHING...he suffered for NOTHING. What a waste and a joke. Naruto is the ultimate nice guy alright. That's why they called it Naruto the Last because Nice guys finish last 💀
About Sakura: You ever know a person you just hate no matter what they do? That's Sakura to them. She had a really bad first impression that made them hate her. Most don't see the point of Naruto liking her and think he should just get with Hinata because, she is easier. The others, the fanatics, hate her because of the dreaded friend-zone which Sakura reminds them of girl putting them in that position for guys, and for girls she the girl that is preventing them from getting their crush. The first could have been fix/mitigated by focusing more on Sakura (have a plot line more then just 'who will she end up with Naruto or Sasuke') or getting her together with Naruto before the ending. The second will always hate her no matter what and will always find flaws with her, and they are very vocal about finding them as well as shutting down differing opinions.
About SS and Sakura's popularity: Someone has said that actually when she married Sasuke they didn't make a peep about her anymore, and in fact she was voted as the most popular character in Boruto. Sure, take it with a grain of salt but this completely contrasts with how she was treated by the fandom before the end of Naruto.
Answer: Again, she is not hated UNLESS it has the implication to do with being Naruto's love interest if you ask me. If there is no discussion about her being Naruto's girlfriend or wife she is ignored at worst or discussions are marginally more civil. Another something important to keep in mind; Japan loves Sakura. It was the Western fandom that had all the haters. Hinata wasn't nearly as popular as Sakura is in Japan. You also didn't hear much of a peep from the haters when SS happened because she was no longer a threat to their precious Hinatatas. Granted, if you dare look into the shipping fandom, NH and SS are at each other's throats. It's still Sakura vs Hinata with them. They were only friends until Kishi caved and gave them their steaming piles of crap that is their ships. Futhermore, they still hate how obsessive she is over Sasuke though. I remember them saying how pathetic she is to keep desiring a kiss from Sasuke. Yet, they want me to believe they had sex.... Can someone explain this one to me? 💀🙄
Change my mind

Wait so you ship borusumi? If you don't mind me asking when and why did you start shipping them? This is literally my first time seeing a borusumi shipper on tumblr.
hiii, yes i ship borusumi💕
and i don’t mind you asking :3
as for borusumi shippers, i think they’re mostly on twitter. i myself don’t see much for them (the ship) here on tumblr
as for your question:
i don’t have an exact date but can say i started shipping borusumi when i first read the chapter sumire confessed her feelings. idk i was just like “okay girl go get your man” lmaoo😭😭 it was just like “okay, she likes boruto. good for her !!” and i started rooting for sumire since then
(not to mention the conversation he has with her in the chapter before that)
i watched the anime way after starting the manga and the first arc having boruto and sumire and how he saved her was nice to see. but idk how canon the anime is anymore since they said both the anime and manga are but then the anime made sarada a chunin and the manga said she’s still a genin so oof
also the novels!! again, no idea how canon they are but there is one where it says boruto never shows his tears in public but when he found out sumire was in the hospital cuz she got hurt, he cried and showed his tears in public. then there’s another novel where it says himawari likes some idol, lily, and she tells boruto how cute she is and boruto doesn’t care for lily but he thinks her eyes are a pretty color. lily is described to have violet eyes. that made me even more obsessed with borusumi sksk
then there’s the manga chapter where eida asks to speak with sarada and then said to bring kakei and boruto questioned it. it was only when eida mentioned sumire that boruto reacted. boruto himself relayed the message to sumire. we see them speaking and know they’re friends. once they went in the room, he asked if they (sarada and sumire) were gonna be okay. it’s little details like those that matter ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
then omnipotence happened. everyone’s memories about boruto and kawaki switched. no one knew what was going on, but it was sumire who told sarada what occurred. she didn’t have all the facts, but remained levelheaded
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
her first instinct was to help boruto
Tumblr media
and we all know what happens after. sarada asks sasuke to help boruto. basically what this shows is: without sumire, boruto would be dead. everyone was just out to kill boruto (cuz they think he’s kawaki), but he’s innocent. both sarada and sumire know this. sumire didn’t know how to help him, but her first instinct was to do so. it was thanks to her intel that sarada managed to snap out of her crying and get her to listen and that’s when she asked sasuke to help him. in other words: sumire literally saved boruto’s life
we see in chapter 1 of the time skip that sarada and sumire are still trying to help boruto and break omnipotence. she’s shocked to see boruto when he appears out of nowhere to save sarada from code. sumire doesn’t make an appearance again until chapter 5, which just dropped a few days ago. we see she gets information from amado regarding omnipotence and his memories and she relays this information to sarada. she’s basically still trying to find ways to combat eida’s ability to help boruto. now we wait for chapter 6 to drop to see what more is in store for this manga. i wanna see how this pans out since boruto doesn’t even know sumire is unaffected by omnipotence. in his mind, he only has sarada, so let’s see what happens next
sorry if this got too long and it doesn’t answer your question >.< but this is basically why i started shipping them and why i continue to ship them. sure, it’s easy to disregard the ship cuz we don’t see boruto and sumire interacting much, but their moments are there. they aren’t meaningless. sumire loves boruto. this has been confirmed many times now and she’s doing what she can to help him break omnipotence

It's sad that this debate always comes back, since 2015 I see people complaining about "not needing a reason to love someone". The worst thing is that they always respond in the same way: "Sasuke did need a reason", "Sakura was just obsessed and Kakashi supported her because she reminds him of Rin", "Kakashi didn't know what he was talking about", "he wanted to force Sasuke", "loving without a reason is really childish". What I feel is that people take the reason to love as dating love, that is, once they are already in something, that is, if you are with someone for no reason, it's because you wanted to try being with that person but you don't really love them, but I take that love that Kakashi talks about as what it feels like when you talk about love at first sight, rather when you fall in love, there is not always a reason, for me it's like the phrase love is blind. Also, the fact that all the characters have a reason is a lie, it's just as you say... I literally thought of the same couples that you mentioned but also a couple that for me came out of nowhere is Choji and Karui, what reason did they have for being together? They don't even show us an interaction lol but anyway, some fans (i'm not going to mention them but it's obvious who they are) don't take seriously how some couples were formed since according to them Boruto doesn't exist and therefore it's not canon.
I hope one day they leave Kakashi alone, he's a character who suffered a lot and always did what he could, maybe not everything he did was right but the things he did are not as terrible as they make out to be.
But well, sorry for my English and for continuing with this..i'm tired and angry that people don't understand
It’s just another stupid reason to hate on Kakashi when the fact is both points are correct and come from a place of trauma and personal experience.
Sasuke saying ‘she has no reason to love me and i have no reason to love her’ is valid. I totally support his works because they come from a man who has lost everyone he loved and now guards his heart from any new emotions and connections that could hurt him further
Kakashi is the opposite. Kakashi is the one who lost so much but always sought out someone with whom to fill that missing hole in his heart with. He’s the character who also lives ‘you don’t need a reason to love someone’
Kakashi is the guy who saved Yamato after Yamato tried to kill him. He faced down Yamato’s attacks and still called him friend. In that instance Kakashi had every reason to consider Yamato an enemy and he still didn’t cuz deep down he knew they were friends
Kakashi is the character who dropped all issues with Zabuza and stopped fighting him as soon as Gato revealed his master plan. He had every reason to want Zabuza dead (rogue shinobi, enemy of Konoha) but as soon as he realized that they no longer had a direct reason to fight he no longer viewed Zabuza as an enemy.
Kakashi has always lived ‘you don’t need a reason to love someone’ in a none romantic way, and even in this instance he’s not speaking purely romantic. He even states that Sakura isn’t trying to make Sasuke her’s (he’s wrong but he can’t read Sakura’s mind so i won’t fault him for that) and he’s fighting for Sasuke to acknowledge Sakura sine they’re all working together
In that moment they’re allies and friends, yet Sasuke continues to belittle and ignore Sakura even when she’s showing care for him.
That’s where Kakashi’s words come from. This man who has stopped fighting enemies because he no longer has a reason to, wants Sasuke to just open up and stop being cruel to Sakura and calling her things like ‘usless’ (when she just helped them stop Kaguya in her tracks and defeat her) and being beedlessly cruel with shit like his genjutsu to knock her out (i get why he did it given what happened last time him and Naruto tried to fight with Sakura around, but a genjutsu like that was still super cruel)

Sannin headcanons and thoughts
The last thing I would like to post for the sannin week. It is still 24.04 here! :D @sannin-central
This is long. Spoiler alert. Mostly Orochimaru, some Tsunade, a little of Jiraiya (because his story is pretty clear and spoken and idk what I can add). Also I recommend to read this meta about Orochimaru, it has influenced me a lot and has some good points. Sorry for any posible grammar mistakes. Also I really should put here a lot of references to the manga or anime but it was something that was piling up for a year and I'm soooooooo lazy. After all, those are just headcanons. Also: Im not excusing Oro's bad stuff here, Im trying to understand the reasons.
Ive already posted some hcs, here, here and here.
Tumblr media
1. First if all, the chronology pic of sannin lifetime based on the info i found on naruto wiki and also some statements about wars from this post. It was tough considering what a mess naruto’s chronology is.
2. Sannin story shows what it cost to be a legend. They're like Team 7 but more realistic. Tsunade literally carried the war but left with nothing and developed a ptsd and have problems to just live on. Also anger control issues. I think she can be pretty bossy and stubborn which is not always nice. Jiraiya is the hero of the day but also very idealistic and can ignore some important details in the real word whether its the fight (he always injured during flashbacks maybe because each time he took too much to handle and on the one hand it's heroistic but on the other is a mistake that can lead your team to situations like in that Iwa cave) or your friends issues (I bet he saw what's going on but thought it's fine until Oro actually got red handed and left). He lives in his world and may have problems to get out to see it through someone else's shoes. As for Orochimaru, it seems like he was a normal guy for 20+ years (I mean, he didn't do crazy criminal shit and had something good in him and it was stated somewhere that it was his teammates influence. It is obvious they considered him as a friend, I don't thinks it was for nothing) but we mostly know his darkest side. Despite being a moster he is a human that have empathy and some ordinary human traits (man just decorates every bit of an environment he is in lol).
3. Tsunade was the leader of team Hiruzen.
4. Tsunade sometimes hit Jiraiya for some stupid things he did or said but never touches Orochimaru even if he did something same. Jiraiya complained about it once and almost got another hit.
5. Jiraiya had problematic parents that didn't care about him much and a lot of time he was wandering in the streets.
6. Judging by the look of Oro bangs and hair, he sometimes cut it off. A stress relief huh? And the fact that he doesn't do it now in Boruto..
7. It was shown that Tsunade and Orochimaru was acknowledged before they become a team. Maybe they did just before, or maybe some longer time before. I prefer the second option and hc that they met because both had no real friends - Orochimaru seemed weird and scary for everyone and Tsunade was Senju so everyone wanted to hang out with her but didn't really care. They weren't seen as what they were - people put the labels on them. But they didn't care about each other's labels and actually saw each other in true lights.
8. Tsunade knew it was an accident and it's not right but still she blamed Orochimaru for Nawaki's death for some time. It was something that seriously damaged their friendship and the team. Orochimaru was mad but also guilty, after all, he was responsible at least as a shinobi since Nawaki was under his watch. So he started to act cold and emotionless and was trying to distance himself from his teammates.
9. Jiraiya was in Ame while Dan died.
10. The whole his orphans mission was a bit irresponsible tbh. They already fought Hanzo and as he stated the conflict between Konoha and Ame is going to an end with Konoha's win. It's weird to stay here for three years in the middle of the war while there were other lands to fight. He left his teammates for some idea. Maybe that caused another crack in their team friendship.
11. If Tsunade would have find a way to live on with her trauma and follow the will of fire and stuff it would affect Orochimaru as well just as her grief affected him. It's like he would get an example that you can live on with this pain. So death isn't above human capability and we are not just the slaves of mortality (sounds stupid but i dont know how else to describe sorry). But as we know what he actually saw is that it broke her crucially to the point she couldnt be herself again. And so the death is above everything.
12. Oro wasn’t just acting as a cold pragmatic bitch in that cave but also tried to save Tsunade. Jiraiya knew it and that’s why he showed this sign to him like "I see what youre doing here" and that stunned Oro because he would prefer to look rather like a cold pragmatic bitch hehe
13. Just a thought. People in the village probably treated Oro as a foreigner or just wouldnt accept him because he looked so differently and had a weird attitude. That's why he sometimes didn't feel that Konoha is his home. After the wars where people were treated as means and tools, even the children, he himself developed this view on people - he dehumanized them and used as the means to his goals, just as his village did. Funny thing some people were straightly dehumanizing him too like Ibiki thought that he was a demon (tho he was a child). And he probably weren't the only one. Anyways the point is that it's logical that Orochimaru don't care about anybody but some few people, he's the product of his era. He's like Naruto that would chose the hatred way. But naruto had some good and understanding people around him and.. Orochimaru had them too, but match how Iruka treated Naruto and this Hiruzen's "I sAw tHe mAliCe in This cHiLd fRoM tHe BegGinNinG". And oro didn't even have a big ass evil fox in him. sry i hate hiruzen
ANYWAYS the moral of the story is not "go criminal if they hurt you" but always treat people like people. Waving my hand to Kant.
14. The reason why Orochimaru didn't pick some good morals to stick with through the hard times no matter what (like, idk, Jiraiya or Naruto) is because 1) I think he is/was pretty depending on people around him 2) the war fucked him and his friends up too much (Nawaki incident + Tsunade) 3) twisted addictions (though I don't think he's that sadistic, we never saw him torturing randoms just for fun, it was always some science experimental shit. He tends to get fun out of cruelty only when it's personal) that maybe developed as a way to sublimate anger and sadness caused by his parents loss (that's what they share with sasuke - unlicke naruto, they knew their parents and it's other kind of pain. Sasuke developed a revenge issue and Orochimaru - cruelty pleasure which... is kinda the same but less epic and more occasional lol).
15. Speaking of that, Orochimaru cared for Sasuke because he saw himself in him.
16. Oro hold grudges against Hiruzen for not choosing him to be Hokage not only because he was ambitious and/or egoistic, but also because Hiruzen was some kind of a father figure for him and his approval was important tho i doubt he was aware of that. He also probably could tell that Hiruzen was suspicios about him when he was a child and that led to many conflicts and was hurting as well.
17. Tsunade knew things weren't pretty with Orochimaru after the wars but she never expected them to be this bad. During the week that she was given in her arc she thought not only about how much she wants to see Nawaki and Dan again despite how wrong would it be but also was trying to bury all the good memories she had left of Orochimaru so it would be easier to kill him.
18. She poisoned Jiraiya exactly because she knew he would not let her do it. Jiraiya was always hesitant to kill and inclined to forgiveness, while Tsunade, as mentioned by Orochimaru, could be merciless (so much so that he was not surprised when Kabuto suggested that she wanted to use Jira for Edo Tensei).
19. That was one of her traits that scared Jiraiya and fascinated Orochimaru.
20. Remember how Oro grabbed Jiraiya's neck when the latter was trying to cover with hair jutsu? On the snake, in Tsnade's arc. Orochimaru could have easily kill Jiraiya by pulling the sword out of the mouth (arteries are right there) but he didn't. As well as he could kill Tsunade when she was still shaking - just aim for the neck or the heart. Instead, he just injured her lung and kicked her which is not a big deal for the kind of shinoby like her at all.. Also he helped Anko not accidentally kill herself but it would be way much profitable to let her do it. "Orochimaru has no feelings".
21. The reason he suddenly wanted to kill Tsunade instead of forcing her to heal his arms as it was planned (which is weird since it will not going to get him heals and he kinda said that he wouldn't want to kill her just minutes ago) is that not only she refused to help him (he thought he could work it out) but she also prefered the village over him (from his point of view). Out if everyone she was the closest to being able to understand him since the village caused her painful losses too but nevertheless she agreed to be on it's side.
22. He wasn't fighting her back in the end partly because he thought he deserved that. Somewhere deep inside hahah.
23. Tsunade got a fear to develop deep bonds so they probably weren't very close with Shizune (also the way she knocked her down in this hotel.. oh).
24. Orochimaru will be here when she'll die.
25. Orochimaru's eng dub to Tsunade: "I often wondered what it would be like to ring that pretty neck yours". No comments.
26. Orochimaru is either bi/pan or ace. Anything or nothing lmao
27. Hiruzen knew about at least some of the Oro’s illegal experiments and was okay just as he was okay with the Foundation all the time. Because it’s useful. Then he has discovered he went too far OR he knew everything and oro just became too inconvenient because of his methods. The way Orochimaru tells Sasuke about reasons they are well treated as the criminals is based on in his experience with Hiruzen.
28. As you may know the lyrics in Orochimaru’s music theme goes “don’t talk with the silence of the heart”. It was taken from one Indian song that also had lines like “don’t question life too much”, ”pain arose somewhere in the chest”, “don’t speak to the wounds of the heart”. Though I’m not sure 100% because I was translating it with some hindi dictionary with like zero knowledge of hindi
29. I like to think that this “silence of the heart” theme and the fact that he called his village a hidden sound village are somehow connected. The hidden sound is the possible explanation of all things waiting to be listened to but the truth is silent and you know it deep in your heart and it bothers you. The world is silent just like the life is meaningless but people can only hear. *Sigh* anyways
30. Orochimaru’s journey is the one about accepting death. When he saw Karin released her chains while was trying to get to Sasuke he understood that the death is a part of human’s strength.
Can’t wait to feel that everything I wrote is wrong or not enough or stupid and obvious lol. Anyways, it’s something that I wanted to share until I move to some other fandom.

Hi. I am the anon from earlier.
Teasing in the sense, even when Sasuke meets Naruto at Orochimaru's hideout, that scene itself is quite unsettling. But Sasuke teases him, asking why he was there when he should be training. And is amused by Naruto's answer, he goes pfft (hahaha, like what?) I get these femme fatale vibes from Sasuke in that scene. Then later, when they meet again, Sasuke asks him he know his heart and vice versa and then says, Right Naruto? Very teasy. Even later in the war arc, Sasuke and Naruto both tease each other. Especially when they are trapped inside Susanno during Tsukuyomi. Sasuke implies that Naruto and Sasuke's lives are more important than others ( dissing Sakura and Kakashi) and then says to Naruto, you know what I am saying, don't you? And Naruto teases, just like him, saying his body also moves on its own.
Like I said, they both have inside jokes type stuff. Which I find quite intimate because they literally act differently around each other as compared how they act around others.
And I especially find it quite endearing because Sasuke comes off as more human in these instances and not a robot bent on destroying the world.
Hello, Anon😍😍😍😍. So, that’s what you mean by teasing.
All these scenes you have mentioned, the way I see it was always as some different forms of
Obsession??!!
Maybe....... Sasuke was teasing. But it was not Naruto. He was teasing, us, the viewers. Throughout Shippuden, we all noticed Naruto’s blatant obsession towards Sasuke. Sasuke’s side is very subtle but noticeable.
And Ofcourse, Sasuke's obsession always generate a certain tension between them which looks very intimate sometimes.
Sasuke meets Naruto at Orochimaru's hideout, that scene itself is quite unsettling. But Sasuke teases him, asking why he was there when he should be training. And is amused by Naruto's answer, he goes pfft (hahaha, like what?) I get these femme fatale vibes from Sasuke in that scene.
Just like every time, Sasuke's actions contradicts his own words, only in the case of Naruto (I repeat, it’s just actions..... In case of Sakura, both his actions and words were similar). The more he denies, the more he acts up. And most of the times his actions always surprises the viewers.
Just before they meet in the Orochimaru hideout, when Sai was introducing himself, Sasuke was thoroughly not interested or even annoyed by his presence and bluntly told, 'Get lost'. But the moment, Sai started to speak about Naruto, Sasuke started to pay attention to him and Orochimaru, Kabuto definitely notice this.

And later, he casually says, 'Oh, there was a guy like that?'. At this point, even I felt Sasuke changed.

But then, the moment he met Naruto, he just acted out completely contrary to what he said before. He was teasing the audience for sure, but with Naruto, I see this as an obsession to get close with Naruto, probably because he was seeing someone who was once close to him after 2.5 years, and wanted to say ‘Hi, what are you doing here? You want to become Hokage and why care about me at all?. Anyways, I am going to kill you like last time’.
Naruto always looks complicated because he knew Sasuke cares about him atleast a little bit and was wondering ‘Still, Why are you doing this?’.
For us viewers, am sure Sasuke's sensual approach makes our skin crawling. A snake-ish femme fatale vibe, maybe?? I think kishi did it deliberately for that very purpose to tease the readers 'What has Sasuke become? Why is he doing this!??'.
Apart from these, Naruto does know one thing for sure about him. That Sasuke doesn’t give a damn about anyone in Konoha other than him.
How did he know?
From the VoTE1 battle. Sasuke made himself clear, he was done with Konoha and all the comrades. But when Naruto asked him, ‘Am I nothing to you, don’t you consider me your comrade?’. To which Sasuke says, ‘You became my closest friend’. He even acknowledge that their bond existed back when they were kids.
Again, this is another scene which shows his Obsession towards saving Naruto.
Sasuke is literally telling him, ‘Kakashi and Sakura are useless, why bother saving?’
It’s not just with Sakura and Kakashi. It’s just with everyone throughout the war.
I found the following scene to be interesting and logical.
Tumblr media
Here, Naruto was worked up because he lost Obito and here Sasuke was again asking him to ditch Obito and come with him, which is logical. Not everyone can empathize and cry like a baby in a battlefield. Someone has to be reasonable.
Basically I think it’s part of his character. He always stays focused, calculative and perceptive about everything happening around and takes the best course of action even at the expense of losing people EXCEPT for NARUTO which was evident from the way he wanted to save only Jugo and Naruto.
It’s kind of ‘I don’t care about whatever things you care about, but I do care about you’. I think this is kind of a mild Obsession.
It’s exactly because of that Obsession, Sasuke snapped out after hearing about Itachi’s true motivations behind the massacre. ‘I don’t care about whatever Itachi cared about (Konoha) but I do care about Itachi a lot and that’s why I am going to destroy Konoha’.
According to Sasuke, these very obsession is kind of a weakness for him which influences his decision a lot. Because Itachi and Naruto are the only people who can influence Sasuke’s heart and he doesn’t want anyone to affect his heart. Itachi was dead already. Only Naruto remains. And Naruto being emotionally perceptive, he somehow knows that he is Sasuke’s weakness just like Sasuke knows that he is Naruto’s strength.
That’s why Naruto looks complicated when Sasuke asked, ‘I know your heart, you know mine. Right, Naruto?’. Naruto knows, Sasuke knows. But we, audience don’t know, unless we pay close attention to the hints.
In Boruto, however, I don’t find anything special. Except for this one.
Tumblr media
This proves one thing. These guys have been keeping up with these childish contests for a very long time, through the Letters or Texts, I don’t know which one. But somehow, it appears Sasuke is very interested to play rivalry contest with Naruto through letters than writing one for his ‘beloved’ wife and daughter. Funny. LOL.
It is because of that Obsession and Love, like you said, Sasuke doesn’t appear like an emotionless machine but more like a lovable boy who was lost in darkness.

Hi babeee I don't know if anyone ever asked this before, but who is/are your favourite character(s) in Naruto aside from Gaara? and why you love them? *) i'm curious ;v
NADA, have you even gotten a wink of sleep just yet! Baby go to bed!! 😭😂😂😂😭
AAAAAH shoot this is hard!! How do I rank them, hmm... 🤔🤔 Gaara's sparkling bright on top and then everybody's okay??? That's kinda like how I see it?? 😂😭😂😭 If I were to rank it though it'll probably look like:
0. Gaara
1. Gaara
2. Gaara
3. Gaara
Reasons why I like Gaara:
• This blog is the literal manifestation of everything I fancy about this man.
4. Mitsuki
Reasons why I like Mitsuki:
• Too precious for this world. :(
• His character feels fresh and new in its own, doesn't feel bootlegged kind of ish.
• He's unbothered 24/7, but at the same time he's genuinely always there for people he cares about.
• How he adopted a stray cat and the overall effects it had on him and the interesting dynamics of their owner-cat relationship.
• Really interesting character.
5. Kakashi Hatake
Reasons why I like Kakashi:
• Very strong morale to stay in the right path.
• Complex character, has a lot of layers in how he was written.
6. The entire Sand family: Temari, Kankuro, Shikamaru, Shikadai, Shinki + Yodo and Araya (Hoping I'll get to know these two better)
7. I love Sai and Ino, but I love them even moreeee in Boruto era. I think they matured nicely as amazing parents. Inojin is included here!
Reasons why I like Sai:
• Rocks a crop top like no another.
• Doesn't give shit, doesn't take shit.
• Love for art.
• How he stood up for Naruto + how blatantly harsh yet still caring he was when he talked to Sakura about Naruto carrying the burden of taking back Sasuke to the village.
• This man would bitchslap sense in you even if it hurts your feelings at first if in the end you'll benefit more from it in the long run.
• He is such, such a great Dad. He's up there with Gaara without a doubt.
Reasons why I like Ino:
• Rocks a crop top like no other.
• Not afraid to speak up her mind.
• Very supportive of her friends.
• Places high importance and utmost respect for her clan.
• Seems like she would be your coolest friend.
• How she's leading the sensory division now but still running the Yamanaka flower shop at the same time.
• With everything above, he still manages to be an amazing mom.
Reasons why I like Inojin:
• His snappy, sarcastic, witty remarks is funny as hell.
• Very talented kid. Has managed to be the perfect combination of his mom and dad's distinct talents.
8. Sasuke in Boruto
Reasons why I like Sasuke:
• I understand why his character in classic and Shippuden did what he did, but I still like him more as a Dad. It's both funny, warm, comforting and interesting to see him as a Dad. I love his genuine smile whenever he's with his family.
9. Sarada
Reasons why I like Sarada:
• Smart, perceptive, logical but still caring, respectful and loving. It's hard to maintain both in a well-balanced manner.
• Much more well-written heroine.
• Perfect middle of Sasuke and Sakura.
10. Naruto and Boruto
Reasons why I like the two:
• For all the reasons they are loved by almost all of the fandom. I just happen to lean towards side characters more compared to the protagonists themselves.
11. Rock Lee and Might Guy
AAAAAA THIS GOT LONGER THAN I EXPECTED. 😂😭😂😂😭 I enjoyed this way too much haha.
That's very nice of you to ask me a question like this!! ☺☺❤❤ It's my first!! ❤❤ Thank you soooo so much Nada!! 😘😘❤❤ Love you babe! ❤❤
