I give it a 9/10. I admit, I was drawn in by the mystery of who killed Elizabeth - until, SURPRISE! SHE”S NOT DEAD.

She just faked her death to be with the man she loves.

But that Will...grrr....I wanna strangle him. What kind of guy thinks it’s a good idea to get into a relationship with a high-society girl, and then cheat on her with her maid and then dump Lina when Elizabeth gets back from her Paris vacation.

what the actual hell Will.

You are officially my least favorite Will. DIE

And speaking of Lina, yes she was treated terribly by Will but she had NO RIGHT to go spilling Elizabeth’s secrets to Penelope Hayes. ELIZABETH WAS NOT AT FAULT FOR WILL DUMPING YOU LINA SHE HAD ZERO CLUE HE WAS CHEATING ON HER WITH YOU OKAY

Oh Penelope Hayes...do I have words for you you back-stabbing, sharp-toothed, malicious manipulative little VIPER!!!

Henry Schoonmaker. You are a womanizer and I don’t like you based on that. You are in a secret relationship with Penelope, then get engaged to Elizabeth (whom you proceed to call “dull” and “Boring” well sorrrrrrryyyyy mr. picky), AND THEN GET INTO A SECRET RELATIONSHIP WITH ELIZABETH’S SISTER DIANA.

Carolina ‘Lina’ Broud | 20 | Socialite | FC: Tallulah Riley

Lina Broud has been the centre of most of the scandals that have rocked Manhattan over the last few years. Once a poor maid, Lina was fed up of growing up in the shadow of the graceful and beautiful Elizabeth Holland. Lina has served Elizabeth for years, but the friendship they used to cherish as children has disappeared since Elizabeth's arrival on the social scene. So, she broke out and became the girl everyone envied.  It’s amazing what you can do when you have the means to blackmail people, especially those as important as Penelope. But a secret cannot remain that way forever and when she was discovered, she fell from grace rather spectacularly.

But there is nothing the papers love more than a marvellous return and Lina did just that. With her sister at her side and a brand new hair colour, Carolina is back, leaving her former self behind. The two sisters are still being described her act as the beginning of an age of wealth without class. And they revel in it. The fact that they are not from a large or wealthy family means that Carolina has long since abandoned everyone else’s ideas of perfection and she lives her life on fun. She drinks, flirts with copious amounts of men and the less said about the things that go on behind closed doors, the better.

Becoming the party girl of the social scene could mean great things for Carolina, but it could also be her downfall. Carolina is society's darling and is enjoying a life she once thought impossible. Will she know when enough is enough? She is fighting against the norm every step of the way, determined not to become one of those stuck up girls with no lives,  but what if the lifestyle she has come to love so dearly rejects her? It’s no secret that they already hate the commoner for infiltrating their ranks, but will they make their hatred known? Or will Carolina finally find a place to call her own?
