i know this is something ppl regularly complain about but allow me to add my voice to the chorus: it’s exhausting when people insist there are Right and Wrong fandom opinions, and the criteria conveniently happens to revolve around their personal morals

to the degree that i can scroll past it without getting bothered, i’m used to it, but when algorithms are constantly pushing that sort of content bc of how much engagement it can garner, there’s a lot to scroll past sometimes 💀

#it’s not even about lannisters this time #ive been a proud supporter of their worst moments for 12 years now so i’m very familiar with the hater playbook #but when ppl come for my other faves it can be a bit jarring #which is partially bc i just haven’t had as long to get used to it in other fandoms #and is also partially due to the remarkably high bar said lannisters set as far as corruption goes lol #i always think to myself that i wonder what kim wexler hater men thought of cersei/would have if they watched/read got/asoiaf #like they’ll say kim is unstable and vindictive and things and i just WONDER. #but then i think to myself that actually i am WAY better off not knowing and i go on my merry way #text
