nickname- Got called ‘Big Dave’ my freshman year of high school. I was not a fan. For this an many other reasons I quit football and never played again.

zodiac- Libra/Boar I identify aspirationally with my zodiac sign. I don’t think I really line up with all of the personality characteristics of the typical Libra, but I’d like to.

height- 6'6"

fav musician- Kim Petras? I think. Her songs can make me uninhibitedly enthusiastic about them, which is a rare thing for me.

do I get asks- Not really. I once got one of those spam asks about reviewing someone’s project. The feeling upon opening it was minor, yet indescribably awful.

following- like, 70-ish people. So not really that many. A lot of them aren’t very active, but when I was following more people I felt like I didn’t see everything they would post. So 70 is plenty for me.

followers- 38. I’m kinda surprised I have any actually. I don’t really make any content. But maybe they like what I reblog.

amount of sleep- Usually I get around 7 hrs or less. But if I’m in a mood, or malaise, or just have nothing planned for the day, I can easily spend 12-14 hrs in bed/in my room in a day.

lucky number- 7. idk if I actually am luckier or anything, but I like to use it in those ‘pick a number’ situations.

what I’m wearing- Just underwear atm. But the usual is: a tshirt, levi jeans, a woven-cord belt, my smart watch, and custom Van’s.

dream Job- I don’t think I really have one. I’ve been pursuing something instructional, but Political psychology has a lot of applications that I’m kind of uncomfortable with. If I don’t cut it as a professor, most of the people willing to pay someone with a graduate degree in the field generally want to manipulate someone in one way or another. Like, marketing is targeting groups to get money from them, and some governmental uses are just a kind of propaganda. And then larger corporations would want to make it hard to unionize... etc etc.

So I do sure hope I get to teach it.

dream trip- I’ve been to a lot of places/countries compared to the average person. But I kinda regret how little I’ve seen of the United States. So maybe some kind of 50-state tour would be fun. Get to know my country better than just where i’ve grown up or vacationed.

fav food- So two things:

1. Almost any food can’t hold a torch to the nostalgia I feel when my Mom cooks for me. And given that she’s also fantastic, that’s a high bar. So basically anything she makes.

2. I love a good Creme Brulee.

Play any Instruments- I guess you could say voice, but I haven’t been in a choir since high school, so I suppose nothing.

languages- English. And a little Spanish, Italian, and Khmer. This semester I’m taking ASL though, so add it to the ‘little’ list in a few months.

fav songs- I don’t know if I really have favorite songs. At least, not ones I keep around me all the time. I usually run my music off of a playlist I make on spotify, and have a healthy turnover in the songs I put on there. I do like Cameo Lover by Kimbra, and Sunflower from the Spiderman movie

random fact- I was diagnosed with ADD ~2 and a half months ago. The medication I’m on has really illustrated how inadequately I’ve been able to engage with things. I’d compare it to how hot it can feel to be outside after you’ve stepped into a room with AC. Once you know the difference, you kind of realize the temperature gap more. And now that I know the difference, I’m frustrated with how much of my life has been impacted by something I’m only really having addressed in my 5th year of going to college. In a way I’m ‘bitch, you’ve been living like this?” ‘ing myself, but I’m just glad I’m finally getting help with it.

Aesthetic description- I really like red/black, gold/black, and blue/gold contrasts. In buildings and furniture especially.

I also really like the aesthetic guide of WoW Blood Elves/High Elves. The sort of ambitious angles, tall spires, semi-naturalistic use of gold accents (House Tyrell from GoT, I’m looking at you), and general density of decorative splendor really appeals to me.

In personal fashion I’m pretty utilitarian, but I’m trying to branch out a bit. I got Van’s that pop with color and some pretty sparkly nails, so that’s something. Bit by bit I suppose.

I’ve also been really influenced by depictions of the goddess Pele as a kid growing up, so I’m really drawn to art that has a sort of elementally empowered motif. So. You Know. ATLA is a hit.

YO OKAY SO I SAW THIS FB POST ABOUT THIS DOG BEAR AND I WANT A DOG BEAR IDK WHAT THEY’RE CALLED JKFDFHKSF. My dad is a dog breeder as a side business, so I grew up with pitbulls, pocket pits, american bull dogs, frenches, and now ‘exotics’ are the trend atm.

Do you ever want to be married? If so what colours would you pick for your wedding theme?

Umm yes and no? I’m not sure. If I have an American wedding I like to stick to a traditional white with maybe a peach and light pink here and there, but for sure I would love to do a traditional Hmong wedding.
