Can’t we all have our own story?
People everywhere are getting written off completely just based on how they look, what they think, where they’re from or who they’re with.
But every person has a reason why behind all that and some of those reasons are stories we should get to know before writing them off forever.
I’ve seen so many videos of people going on full meltdowns against people just because they happened to be a certain skin color, or they wore a red hat, or bared the pride flag, or stood up for a certain protest or didn’t. The person yelling never asks why they do something or support something, they just write them off into a predesignated box they think they know all about and just belittle whoever they target, never giving them a chance to defend themselves or tell their story.
There’s a reason everyone does what they do or believe what they want. Whether it’s a personal issue to them or they’re doing it out of love to a total stranger. All are valid reasons.
I just wished more people listened to everyone else’s stories.
I wish we weren’t so divided.
