Y'know the theory that more people besides Ingo and the protag was brought to Hisui by Volo yet they didn't survive? What if we take this to pokemon anime. Like we know that Volo is trying to get Arceus's attention. So what if he brings some of Ash's past traveling companions? Of course, they're surviving, they've traveled with Ash in the past. But what if Ash gets a call from Looker saying that people he's associated with are going missing? Or what if we go with the timeline shenanigans route and only Ingo was abducted yet or whatnot and calls Ash because they suspect Legendary involvement? Of course Ash is called in for legendaries. What if he arrives in Unova and gets dragged into the portal with Looker, Emmet, and Anabel? What if Team Rocket is also dragged into the past by their own separate portal because while Ash is the Chosen One, Team Rocket are Arceus's blorbos?

ok there are so many theories about Ingo being time travelled back to Hisui by Arceus and how he’s gonna get back but. i haven’t seen anyone take into account that P:LA was announced as the first game in a new series, and how Ingo is from gen 5, one of the more interesting games in the series. like i don’t think we’re supposed to figure it out yet because i think the next legends game will give us more to the puzzle
