(a/n): @heeliopheelia this probably isn't what you wanted but thanks for the idea !!

lee heeseung was scared. scared over how fucking cute you looked laying in bed wearing his flannel shirt. he knew he messed up today when he lashed out at you, yelling and calling you needy. it broke his heart watching you swallow back your tears and give him a shaky, obviously faked, smile.
so now he was going to do whatever to make it up to you.
“hi baby,” he said, laying down next to you and wrapping his arm around your waist. you just shrugged and pushed it off, causing a small crack in his heart. he hummed and placed his chin on your shoulder, watching you scowl and move away.
he watched, his gaze half lidded as you got out of the bed, grabbing a blanket and pillow before migrating to the living room, leaving him in bed with his arm over where you used to lay. now he really knew he messed up.
heeseung got out of the bed and followed you into the living room. there you were on the couch, huddled up in your blanket, the light from your phone illuminating your face in the dark light of the room. all heeseung wanted to do was jump on you and kiss you all over. but before he could do that he had to do something else first.
“hey,” he said, forcing a smile as he knelt down beneath you, placing his chin on the edge of the couch. you looked at him and the bambi eyes he was giving you before rolling your eyes and looking away, continuing your silent treatment. but from the corner of his eyes heeseung could see your lips twitch up into a soft smile.
“hey girl, what’s gotten you so upset?” heeseung said, watching as your eyes flickered to him. “well,” you began and heeseung’s heart raced as he got to hear your beautiful voice again. “my boyfriend has been a little bit mean to me today.” you said, smirking at heeseung’s wide eyes.
he gasped in faux surprise and gazed up at you, hiding the smile that was threatening to twitch through. “your boyfriend?” he asked, raising an eyebrow at your sad nod. “yeah, he’s being a real asshole nowadays and it’s breaking my heart.” you replied, bringing your hands up and making a gesture that signified your heart breaking.
heeseung felt like an asshole but still couldn’t hold back the smile that you brought to his face. “my he seems like a real jerk,” he said, grinning ear to ear. your eyebrows furrowed together as you gently slapped heeseung’s arm.
“hey!” you said in fake anger. “don’t insult my boyfriend like that, only i’m allowed to!” heeseung’s cheeks ached from smiling at how cute you were being. but he still needed to apologize.
“baby,” he said, standing up to loom over you. you hummed and closed your eyes, nestling your cheek into his palm as he cupped your face. “i’m sorry baby,” heeseung breathed, placing a featherlight kiss on your forehead. “i was stressed out and tired and shouldn’t have taken my anger out on you like that.”
you smile up at him and kiss his thumb. “it’s all good seungie, sorry for ignoring you.” heeseung couldn’t have cared less about that as he smiled, jumping into your arms and nuzzling his face into your neck, leaving soft kisses there.
“i love you, my pretty baby,” he said, closing his eyes and enjoying the warmth of the blanket that you were currently throwing around his tall frame. “i love you too,” you whispered into his ear, leaving a soft kiss there as you wrapped your arms around him.
“even if you are a little mean sometimes-”
“hey i said sorry!”

Tumblr media
Heeseung was greedy.
Shivers ran down his body as his head tilted back, eyes screwing up as if he were in pain. But he was in pain, being without you was the worst feeling in the world. He could never get enough of you, his memories from your shared nights doing nothing more than making this more unbearable for him. He could never get enough of you.
All he could think about was your body against his, hands slithering up his body, touching him everywhere. His skin burned as the memories came in, enflaming everywhere you’ve ever touched.
He could feel his jaw ticking as his fists clenched, he needed you to finish talking to finish talking with those fucking perverted men whose eyes never left your body and come back to him so that he could show you how much better he was. How much better he could make you feel, no one could ever compare to how good he can make you feel.
His eyes opened in a blaze as his nails broke the skin of his palms, trickles of blood dripping down his calloused fingers. His eyes burned holes into the man who thought he had the right to put his arm around your waist, Heeseung simply scoffed at the thought.
How dare that disgusting man think he could touch his girl, he was going to kill him. He would make the man get on his knees for you, make him thank you for allowing him to be in your presence. One thank you for each passing second, and right now he’s over four hundred and eight seconds.
You could feel the heavy gaze of the brooding man sitting on the other side of the room, eyes narrowed at the arm of the random man around you.
You knew who he was, and it felt like the perfect time to make him feel the way you felt the night he left you. you were going to destroy him, and he was going to let you. he’d let you do anything to him as long as it was happening to him, you weren’t allowed to even think of other men.
Without turning to look behind you your body turned towards the man who you now recognized as your high school biology partner, Park Hanbin. As if feeling your gaze the slightly taller man beside you turned his head to make direct eye contact with you.
A genuine smile came onto your face, a loud gasp coming from your mouth as you took him in. He looked overall the same but someone was different, another gasp left your mouth as you finally noticed what was off. “You finally dyed your hair!” Hanbin bit his lip as he gave you a sheepish shy smirk, cheeks turning red as your attention was completely on him.
He leaned his head forward as your hand came up to run through his hair, but since his eyes were focused on you he missed the taller man who was now directly against you, glaring at him as the world burned around them.
Heeseung was almost certain smoke was coming from his ears, rage consuming his body from his feet to chest. “Don’t fucking touch her” He growled out as he pulled you behind him, detaching Hanbins hold on your waist in the process.
You froze as you were shoved behind Heeseung, his right hand pressing against your back, pushing your body against his. You could feel his body shaking, yet the hand holding him against you was as gentle as possible.
Due to having Heeseungs taller body in front of you, your vision was constricted, the sight of Hanbin completely disappearing as Heeseungs leather jacket appeared.
You could faintly hear your members whispering near you, Yunjin trying to stomp over to the two of you only to stop as Sakura and Chaewon held her in place. You could hear her loud cursing, Heeseungs name falling from her mouth in a cluster of insults.
“Don’t think about touching my girl again” Heeseung tried to say quiet enough so that you wouldn’t hear him, knowing that you would later curse him out for his displaced possession over you.
“Didn’t think she was your girl was you were all over that random girl in the tabloids last week” Hanbin taunted the raging boy in front of him, smirking as Heeseung grew stiff as the words left his mouth. “What? Speechless? Everyone knows what happened, what you did”
Heeseung swore his heart skipped five beats, dropping at the same time the loud music surrounding them did. the strobe lights made him dizzy as he felt nauseous, he was going to throw up. “What girl?” His hand left your back and he grabbed Hanbins jacket, pulling the shorter boy up to his face.
“What the fuck are you talking about?” Loud ticking entered Heeseung’s ears, a countdown until he blew up. His hands shook as they turned white, the blood from his palms staining Hanbin’s jacket. “Everyone knows you cheated on her”
Boom.
Heeseung lunged, fist connecting with Hanbin’s nose as they both knocked into the wall. Loud mumbling came from within the crowd as both Heeseung and Hanbin’s members came running over, separating them as Heeseung held the younger man down. “I would never do that to her” His voice shook as he backed up, “she knows that.”
He turned around to look at you only to see you leaving through the back door of the venue, your hair blowing behind you as the fan in the hallway blasted against you.
Heeseung ran behind you, feet thundering as the bass grew louder. His heart raced as he thought he lost sight of you, his hands balled together as he screamed in anger, punching the wall behind him as his heavy breathing filled the hallway.
“Are you done throwing our little bitch fit?” He spun around as your voice sounded from down the hall, his eyes lighting up as your heals clicked as you advanced towards him. Your dark eyes looked straight into his eyes as your body swayed towards him. “Yanno, punching Hanbin was so fucking stupid”
You watched as Heeseung rolled his eyes at the boys name, fists tightening as he recalled the events that just took place. “I’m not done with that fucker, I’m going to kill him” He went to walk back inside the room, stopping at your hand wrapped around his wrist. He looked over his shoulder, deflating as your unimpressed face came into view.
“Heeseung I can touch anyone I want-” “Like hell” Heeseung cut you off, anger shining in his words. You rolled your eyes again before continuing, “You broke up with me and disappeared for two weeks before randomly being sighted with some random girl at some random ass apartment building” He could feel your emotions in your words, heart growing heavy as he swallowed the ball in his throat.
“Baby-“ “Don’t touch me” you recoil from is touch, hand curling against your chest. Heeseung froze as you pulled away, staring at you in horror as he processed what just happened. “Just leave me alone, we’re done”
He watched as you turned around, hesitating a few seconds before walking away with a scoff, arms crossing against your chest as you stomped away.
“She was the realtor of that apartment building. I was going to buy us a place, our own place. Those photos were taken a few months ago, not a week ago. And I only broke up with you because I heard you talking about breaking up with me to Yunjin.”
“What?” You almost shouted in shock, eyebrows furrowing as you watched him walk back over to you in fast steps. This time you let him touch you, his large hand curling around the back of your neck. “You didn’t want me, Baby.” You could see the tears in his eyes, ones he didn’t even attempt to hide.
“What are you talking about, Heeseung? I was never going to break up with you?” Now the both of you were confused, eyes staring at each other for a passing moment. Small tears leaked from the corners of Heeseungs eyes as his lips rolled into his mouth, you couldn’t stop your lips from curling up into a smile at the cute sight before you. You cleared your throat as you tried to hide it but Heeseung caught it the moment it blossomed.
“Why are you smiling? That’s really fucked up you know, I’m sitting here crying like a bitch and you’re here laughing at me” Your smile turned into a full blown laugh as Heeseung pouted at you, kissing his teeth as he rolled his eyes.
“You’re so cute” Heeseung felt butterflies throughout his body as your hand rested against his cheek, his eyes darkening as your touch awoke something that’s been concealed since he left.
“Baby you don’t know what your touch does to me” He whispered as he pressed against the elevator button, a loud beep coming from the it as it opened. “You’re fucking me up, I feel you everywhere” He light pushed you into the elevator, one hand around the back of your neck with the other around your waist.
As soon as the elevators door closed heeseung pushed himself against you, hips rolling into your own as your back arched into him. His lips smashed into yours as his hand pinched at your waist.
His nose hit against your own as his head tilted to the side for more access. His lips sucking your bottom lip into his mouth, teeth gently biting into it.
His tongue rubbed against your bottom lip as he released it from his hold, slipping right between your lips right soon after. A small whimper left his lips as he disconnected with your swollen ones to kiss against your neck.
“You taste so good” He whispered in your ear as he left a soft kiss against your earlobe, “so so good” he bit at the skin under your ear, trailing small bites down your throat to your collarbone.
He pushed his thigh between your legs, both of his hands grabbing your waist to rub you against him. He could feel your heat through his pants, his whole body warming up as he felt your familiar body against his own. “make yourself feel good against me” He begged, eyes looking up at you from below his lashes, “use me.”
“You’re so greedy” Heeseung closed his eyes as he felt you move against his leg, head falling back as your lips connected with his neck. “Only for you, always for you” Heeseung whimpered as your hot kisses grew stronger, your hand tightening in his hair as you pulled his head back further. His breath hitching as you controlled his body how you pleased, using him the way he liked.

“Knew you’d be here,” you hear an all too familiar voice say right beside your ear, and you can’t even react before his large arms encase your figure.
You jumped slightly and set your cup down on the kitchen counter, as well as the bottle of alcohol that you had been drinking that night.
With your shaky hands, you attempt to take his arms off you, but the effort is futile, and you end up resting your hands above his that lay on your waist.
“I waited a whole hour to finally get you alone, baby. Your friends were stealing you away from me,” he laughs softly, his warm breath tickling your neck. “But now,” he steps a bit closer, brushing himself against you, and you feel your knees grow weak as his bulge rests between your cheeks. “You’re all mine,” he nibbles on the tip of your ear, earning a quiet gasp from your beautiful lips.
“Hee,” he melts when you call him by the nickname you gave him all those years ago, chills running up his spine as he shudders against you, inhaling a sharp breath while subtly pressing his crotch on your backside.
He lowers his hands to your hips, gripping them firmly and pulling you against his chest, your body completely flush with his, leaving you no space and no choice but to feel the thick, pulsing outline of his stiffness.
You let go of his hands, letting him use your body as you clutched onto the kitchen counter to stabilize yourself, and you wish you could say you were doing this with him cause you’re drunk, but you’re far from that cause he came to you only a few shots in.
A part of you felt guilty for letting him back in so easily, but one touch from him and all rational thoughts were out the window. The only thing swirling in your brain right now was the thought of him laying you on your back, spreading you wide open, and taking every last ounce of dignity from you.
He smirks down at your connected bodies when you take matters into your own hands and grind your ass against his hard-on. “Let me take you home,” he whispers and taps your waist two times, momentarily knocking you out of your trance as you agree and let him guide you out of the party.
He feels lucky when he’s able to sneak by your friends. The last thing he needs is for them to interfere like before.
He took you to his car, the scent filling your nostrils and bringing back so many memories of the late-night drives or grocery runs you both used to go on back when your guy's relationship was healthy.
Without much thought he put the keys in the ignition and started his car driving back to your place based off nothing but muscle memory from all the times he used to pick you up for dates he looked to his right seeing you stare out the window and he can’t believe you’re actually sitting here with him right now after everything you guys have been through.
He puts his hand on your thigh and hides his smile when you jump slightly from his touch.
He sees you visibly relax, and he strokes your bare thigh with his thumb, inching his hand up higher and higher till he feels the warmth between your legs. He settles his hand there, kneading and tugging on the soft flesh, working you up for what’s about to come, and by the time you arrive home, your panties are completely drenched. You feel embarrassed for getting so turned on by a simple touch, but you can’t help it. You were undeniably addicted to your ex.
Guiding him upstairs to your apartment room feels all like a blur cause as soon as the door shuts, he’s got his hands all over you, groping every last inch of your skin as his lips press roughly against yours.
Taken aback by his ferocity, your hands clumsily find his strong back, using it as leverage to brace yourself for his hungry kisses. “Oh, heeseung,” you moan into his mouth, and he loves it as it gives him the perfect entrance to your warm, wet mouth. He slips his tongue inside with no permission, but he knows you’d never refuse any of his advances.
“Fuck” he whimpers when you run your fingers through his hair and tug harshly on the roots.
He stumbles his way over to your bedroom, your lips never disconnecting for even a moment as you both discard your shoes somewhere neither of you is even concerned with right now.
Leaning back to finally catch a breather, your eyes flutter open, and he smiles softly while stroking your cheek with his thumb, admiring your beauty up close after so long.
He trails his hands down to your waist, gripping the hem of your shirt, and with your help, he lifts it over your head smoothly, tossing it to the ground.
His hands move to your back, unclasping your bra effortlessly as if you two had just done this yesterday. “Missed this,” he mumbles softly at the sight of your breast, his big hands automatically cupping them, thumbs brushing softly on your nipples as they harden under his sensual touch.
“Mmph,” You bite your lip from the sensation, your hands lowering to the button on his pants, popping it open, and lowering the zipper on his jeans. As soon as you take your hand off his zipper, you cup the pulsing bulge inside his pants, squeezing him softly and taking his breath away.
“Oh my god,” he breathes out, looking down at your hand stroking his throbbing length. “Y/n,” he throws his head back, eyes falling shut from the pleasure as his tip continues to leak and soak straight through his underwear.
You take the open opportunity to attach your lips to his neck placing the most softest kisses he’s ever felt on his skin.
He tilts his head to the side, making it easier for you to kiss and mark up his neck while you jerk off his cock faster. “If you keep doing that, I’m gonna cum” he whispers, eyes still closed, showing zero restraint to the upcoming pleasure despite wanting to make you finish first.
You slow your movements, giving him a break, and he makes the most of it as he gently grips your waist and lays you in your bed.
He does the rest of the work and takes his pants off before getting on the bed and looming over you to take your pants off as well. You assist him by lifting your hips and letting him peel the jean material from your legs, leaving you in only your underwear as he throws your jeans off the bed. “You’re so beautiful,” he says while tracing your inner thighs with his fingertips, your skin forming goosebumps from his teasing touch.
Removing his hands from your skin, he slowly opens his blue flannel one button at a time, watching your eyes become filled with desire with each one he unfastens.
Your legs spread apart just a bit, but it doesn’t go unnoticed by him, and he can tell how much you want him when you grip the sheets and writhe on the bed beneath him, desperate for him to do something.
And he does. He lays beside you, his left hand running along your clothed cunt. “Hee,” you breathe out, arching into his touch and trying to lift your hips to meet his movements.
He presses a bit harder, adding more friction for your pleasure, and he lowers his face to your chest, taking your perked nipple into his mouth and sucking on it softly as he looks up at you, eyes blown wide as if he’s waiting for some kind of approval.
Slipping your panties to the side, his thick fingers come in contact with your bare cunt for the first time tonight, and he runs his digits through your drenched folds tapping your clit gently and rubbing the wetness all over your mound.
Humming against your chest, he slowly eases his finger inside you, taking your breath away.
You grip his wrist for some kind of support as he gently fucks his finger into your heat, little moans slipping past your lips.
He adds a second finger in you stretching your hole open, his thumb circling your clit in soft circles.
Releasing your nipple with a quiet pop, he kisses around the erect bud, placing soft kisses all over your plush breast.
“So good.” You don’t want to let him know he still has this much power over you, but the way his fingers work inside you makes it impossible.
“Yeah? You feel good, baby?” He lays his tongue flat against your chest, licking every inch within his reach, his fingers gradually picking up the pace as he curls them and starts rubbing that spot he memorized all those years ago. It was still carved on his brain despite your guy's separation.
His left leg hooks over yours, his obvious hard-on rubbing against your thigh as he absentmindedly humps your leg. “Ah ah,” he moans shakily, his wet tip getting stimulated by the softness of your thigh.
The action only turns you on more, and the feeling of his scorching length throbbing against your thigh while he pumps your wet walls has you clenching so tightly around his fingers, letting him know you’re not far off. “Hee close, so close,” your arch, your back further into his touch, eyes squeezing shut as you lose yourself in the pleasure of an orgasm that you dreamed of every night since the breakup.
“I know, baby.” he pecks your chest, rutting faster against your thigh, creating more friction the closer you get. “You gonna cum for me?” He whines out, his own orgasm creeping up on him suddenly.
“Yes,” you nod your head over and over, looking down at where his hand was pleasuring you in ways you couldn’t imagine. “Cumming” you helplessly choked out, legs shaking uncontrollably as you had your first orgasm in years.
“That’s it,” he whispers against your ear. “My girl cumming so hard around my fingers” he softly kisses the shell of your ear, his hot breath heightening every last little spark of hot pleasure you felt. “Give it to me, all of it.” The feeling doesn’t fade, and it seems like your high was dragging on forever. Just seconds later, you feel another rush of pleasure flow through you, and a second orgasm comes crashing down around you unexpectedly.
His thumb works gently on your clit as a warm liquid squirts out from between your legs the wet sounds loud and sloppy as his fingers fuck your cunt till you give him everything. “Oh my god, heeseung fuck” you moan loudly, your body quivering in the aftermath as little wet splashes stain your bed as well as heeseung’s hand, but he loves it the way you’re literally wetting yourself all because of him.
“I got you” he nudges your face with his nose, slowly riding your high out until you’ve given him every last ounce out of your perfect pussy. “Baby, you’re so wet you’re dripping on me,” he says in a daze, soaking up the image of you wet and shaking with pleasure when you come back down from that indescribable experience you hid your face in his neck, feeling embarrassed by how your body reacted to him.
He pulls his fingers out of your stretched hole, your squirt running down his wrist as he slurps your cum off his fingers.
The front of his underwear was covered in translucent precum, and he felt like he couldn’t wait for another second to be inside you, especially when he rested on his knees and saw the creamy substance leaking from your entrance. He just knew it was going to feel like absolute heaven to be inside you again.
He quickly pulled down his boxers, revealing his hard veiny cock to your desired-filled eyes as you lay there just waiting for him to fully undress.
On second thought, you couldn’t wait. His underwear only made it to his ankles before you sat up and gripped his shoulders, maneuvering him on the bed, so now he was sitting against the bed frame.
You immediately sat on his lap, circling your hips as your wet panties brushed against his leaky dick. “Condom?” You wrapped your arms around his neck and positioned yourself to ride his thick cock.
He shakes his head back and forth. “mm mmm.” he really didn’t have one because he was not expecting tonight to go like this. “But we don’t need one, baby. Let me fill you up.” he caresses your arms up and down. “Know you love it when I cum inside it” he squeezes your arms a bit more tightly, letting his possessive side take over.
This should have been a red flag for you, but at the moment, it was so hot that it clouded your better judgment, and the idea of him filling your hole with his hot cum and claiming you as his had your brains turned to mush and by the look on your face you didn’t even have to give him an answer for him to know you wanted it too.
You lifted your hips up, and he pushed your panties to the side, giving him just enough access to your little hole. He gripped the base of his cock, putting the tip in and giving you that nice little stretch before pushing in a bit more. “Oh,” you moan, rolling your head back as he spreads you open with his dick.
“Oh fuck god, y/n,” he whines, his hands rushing to your sides to grip onto something to ground himself.
You gently sat down, careful not to overwhelm him. You bounced lightly on it, getting both of you used to the sensation, and naturally, as it started to feel better and better, it wasn’t long before you were sunken down all the way on him, his tip touching your cervix as your pussy lips kissed his full balls.
“Kiss me.” his breath was heavy, eyes barely open, as he tilted his head up, waiting for your lips to touch his.
You ran your fingers through his hair, bringing his face closer, zeroing in on his perfect pink lips and connecting them together.
You can feel him twitch inside the moment you stick your tongue in his mouth. He moans quietly, feeling breathless from your kiss, his fingertips pressing harshly into your side, and you completely take his breath away when you start riding his long cock.
His mouth falls open, and the kiss is no longer a kiss. It’s just you licking, sucking, and biting every inch of his mouth.
You feel the grip on your waist loosen, and he becomes limp, his fingers lifelessly resting on your thighs as you bounce up and down up and down.
The sound of your skin clapping against his, mixed with the obscene wet sounds between your conjoined bodies, makes his head spin.
His heart pounds wildly in his chest, his eyes glossy with pleasure as you fuck your cunt on his cock.
You leaned back eyes fluttering open and you stare into his love filled ones biting your lip and tilting your head to the side using every last ounce of energy to ride him. “I-“ he tried to speak, but nothing came to his mind. He was too overwhelmed with the feeling to form a coherent thought.
“Feels good, huh?” You say through a heavy breath as he nods frantically.
“Yes, so good, please, y/n,” he whimpers and presses his face to your chest, messily licking and sucking the flesh, the warmth of his tongue making your nipples grow hard. “Please, I’m so close, y/n you’re gonna make me cum”
“Okay, baby,” you kissed the top of his head, and the warmth he felt inside of him was nothing like nothing before the softness mixed with the pleasure was all it took for him to let go. “Fill me up, hee, make me yours.” You don’t even know what you’re saying, but right now, it feels right. “Only want you.”
“Me too,” he whines out, muscles tensing as he releases himself within your heat, filling you up just the way you wanted. “Mine all mine,” he grunts out every word with each rope of cum that stains your warm insides. “All fucking mine,” his words shoot straight to your core, your cunt clenching around him, milking his creamy seed until you are stuffed to the brim with white hot cum.
He starts thrusting up from below you, his balls smacking against your ass as he turns animalistic, his strength returning in full as his grip becomes tighter. The sudden change of sensation takes you by surprise, and he easily flips you over, getting on top of you, his left hand immediately clasping with yours beside your head. “Legs on me,” he groans softly as you obey his command.
He grips your thigh, hoisting it up high on his waist, his tip reaching the deepest part inside you. His thrusts are deep and precise as his thick tip drags against your gummy walls, stroking every last ridge and crevice, bringing you the utmost pleasure. “Uhh heeseung,” A shocked whimper escapes your swollen lips, your free hand clutching to his wide back, and your sounds make him absolutely feral. You swear you see stars as he pounds into you so fast and deep.
“I love you,” he breathed out while scanning your flushed face, his hand slipping between your bodies to finger your clit so you can both cum together this time. “I love you, y/n,” you moan at his confession as you stare into his eyes, your body slipping further up the bed while he gives it to you, and at the moment, you know you can’t resist uttering the words. “Say it back, please,” he whimpers out, his strokes becoming inconsistent the closer he gets. “Please,” he begs in a desperate voice, needing you to say the words back to him to confirm you feel the same way as he does.
“Love you too, hee so much.” You cup his cheek, his brows furrowed, and his eyes fill with tears as he buries his face in your neck, whimpering nonstop about how much you mean to him and how much he loves you. “I love you, I love you so much,” you confess in your moment of weakness, and you let go cumming around his cock your walls desperately clenching on him, begging to be filled up.
“I love you,” he confesses one last time before he cums. He squeezes your hand, groaning as he fills you with all of his love, his hips never wavering as he fucks not one but two loads of warm cum inside you, plugging up your pulsating hole with his thick base to ensure that nothing spills out.
He peppers your neck in kisses, moaning as you dig your nails into his back while the remainder of your high starts to fade away.
Heavy, exhausted breaths fill up the now silent but steamy bedroom, and you both lay there enjoying the last few faint pulses between your bodies before you even think about moving.
He props himself up on his elbow, staring down at your beautiful blissed-out face as he strokes your cheek with his thumb.
You look back and forth between his eyes, guilt slowly but surely filling your system. “Pull out”
“Why?” He whispered, confusion evident on his face. Without answering his question, you place your hands on his chest, gently pushing him back, and he doesn’t want to go against your will, so he very reluctantly pulls out of you, his cum streaming out of your hole like a river.
You quickly cover up with the sheets, hiding from him something you’ve never done after being intimate with him, which makes him even more confused.
Before he could even offer to clean you up, you were basically kicking him out. “Go”
“What do you mean go?” He asked.
“Just go, heeseung. This was a mistake, and we both know it.” his heart shatters at your words because how could this be happening? Just a minute ago, you were giving yourself to him, begging for him to make you his again, and the next, you’re just willing to kick him out and call making love to him a mistake?
“A mistake? So you regret it?” You could hear the hurt in his voice, and it made you feel even more guilty. “I don’t understand, y/n” his voice shakes slightly, and you know this was a bad idea from the fucking start. How could you let yourself get swept up by him again? He was supposed to be your ex, but here you are fucking him like you’re still both together, giving him mixed signals because even though your heart wanted him, your brain was telling you that he was no good for you.
“Heeseung, don’t,” you say, holding back your own tears. “You know this was never gonna work, and you kept coming back until I finally broke down and slept with you, but this does not mean we’re back together. When we broke up, I told you I’d never be getting back together with you.”
He gulps down the lump in his throat, staring at nothing in particular after taking his eyes off you.
He covers himself with his hands, the feeling of nakedness making its presence known. He stands up from the bed, wearing his underwear properly and buttoning up his shirt.
It’s silent except for the sounds of him rummaging through your room to find his pants. He puts them on, zipping them up, and he takes two steps to walk out of the bedroom before standing still. “So you said you love me. Was that a mistake, too?” You nod your head slowly, avoiding all eye contact with him, and he lets out a few chuckles before it turns into full-blown laughter.
You looked up at him, confused as to what he thought was so funny about this heartbreaking situation.
“I get it now.” his laugh settles, and he can’t believe he was stupid enough to even think this would work.
“Get what?” You questioned.
“I know what it is.” You look at him, puzzled, and wait for him to continue. “You’re nothing but a fucking slut” he says, and you whip your head in his direction, looking at him with pure shock. “Don’t look so surprised. It’s quite obvious you’re getting it from someone else.” he chuckles pathetically at himself. “You don’t need me no more 'cause you have been running around to all these parties and hooking up with random guys every night, right? You let them fuck you however they want, and you love it too, huh? Getting your slutty hole filled with a new guy every night?”
“Heeseung that’s not true and we both know it” you grit through your teeth trying not to show your emotions you can’t believe that’s really what he thought of you.
“Save it!” He shouts. “Tell me, do they do it better than I do? Is that why you left me in the first place? Cause I wasn’t doing it for you anymore, huh? Was I not big enough for you? what was it?” He interrogates.
“Heeseung, stop!” You shout back on the verge of tears.
“Why y/n? We both know you cheated cause I was never enough for you, but did you really have to do that to me? You know I still love you.” his voice cracks, and it breaks your heart when you hear his soft sniffles. You hated hearing him cry. It was the absolute worst. “Fuck I hate this so much,” he whispers to himself and swipes a hand over his face drying his tears. “But fuck it, I’ll just face it. I’ll never be enough for you. I’m pathetic. I haven’t even been with anyone since we broke up 'cause I’m still caught up on you, but you’re living the life you gave up on me a long time ago.”
You wish he’d stop doing this to himself. This is one of the many reasons why you had to break up with him in the first place. He never saw his worth and never thought you could see it, either. He never saw just how lovable he was and how easy it was to be yourself around him.
You never understood what made him so insecure in your guy's relationships. You never once thought about cheating when you were with him. You’d always go out of your way to make him feel loved, but it was just never enough.
Or maybe it was your fault. Maybe you gave him signs that you’d cheat, maybe you gave him signs that you didn’t love him.
But at this point, everything ruined your friendship, your trust, your relationship, your love.
But you tried cause even though everything was a mess, you still loved him, and though you couldn’t tell him that, you at least wanted to try and make him feel better about himself. “Heeseung, you are enough.”
“Yeah, right,” he scoffs.
“Heeseung, I know we’re over, but you deserve love, and I’m sorry I can’t give it to you,” you tell him, all while feeling completely helpless in this situation.
“Is that what you tell every guy you let inside you?” The room falls silent yet again, and you feel so weak and broken that you can’t even say anything back. If that’s what he wanted to believe about you, then fine, everything was over between you and him anyway.
He shook his head at you and walked out, slamming the door behind him, and you finally let the first of many tears fall.
As hurtful as it was, you’re glad that conversation happened, and now you just hope that he’ll leave you alone once and for all.
You just couldn’t handle him anymore because he was toxic.

10 DAYS TO FALL IN LOVE — chapter 8. jays party !
word count. 0.8k+ content warning. drug usage, mentions of alcohol, angst, jake is lowkey dumb
Tumblr media
You sat in your seat legs folded — jumi in your lap as you typed away at your computer trying to finish the essay. You sighed, stretching as jumi began to meow. “You hungry baby?” you picked her up, sitting her on the floor. “Let’s go get you some food.” You stood up, walking out the room, your cat following behind.
“Here you go girl.” You sat her bowl down, giving her a head pat — your phone began to ring. “Okay baby eat your food.” You made your way back to your room.
You assumed it was heeseung because he was  a supposed to call — and you definitely kept looking at your phone, but you lowkey frown when you realize it was his number. “what do you want sunoo.”
“Now why are you answering the phone like that?” He said before you heard hanni in the back muttering something about it not being the time. “dumbass.” You heard her say much clearer showing that she now had the phone. “we need you to come get us, your car is out the shop right?” Your friend said — you had forgotten all about your car since heeseung started driving you. “yeah.”
“Well then hurry, jungwon was our designated driver, but dumbass went and got himself drunk.” Sunoo shouted over the music. “okay here I come, make sure he’s okay.”
You search for your keys, grabbing your shoes, before making your way to your parking garage to your car to go save your friends.
You knew where jay lived, and the drive wasn’t far so you got there quickly, jumping out of the car to go find them. “yn!” you heard hanni’s voice, you turned and they were running over to you. “we lost him.”
“You what?” you shouted. “we were waiting and he complained about going to the bathroom, so we let him.” The girl explained. “and now he’s somewhere in the house.” you didn’t plan on going into the house, but it looks like you were now. “Im gonna kill him when I find him.”
You all make your way into the house , splitting up to find your friend. Making your way into the kitchen to see if was in there. “yn?” you turned thinking it was jungwon, your face dropping once you saw who it was. “Leave me alone jake.” He looked you up and down at your outfits — you definitely weren’t dressed for a party. “nice sweatpants, your tank top doesn’t match that.”
“Have you seen jungwon?” you asked. “who?” he questioned, you were about to ask him again when you finally saw his eyes — he was high, so there was no way you were getting anything out of him. “nothing move.” You pushed him out the way. “wait , he's over there.” He pointed. “That’s where I seen him with her.”
Thinking he was talking about jungwon you follow his instructions, making your way through the crowd. “jungwon.” You called out — someone bumping into you. “im sorry– yn?” you recognized the voice immediately. “heeseung?”
There he stood, a girl sitting next to him — he immediately dropped her hand. “what are you doing here.” He asked, you looked in between them, and you weren’t stupid. “I could ask the same about you, when jake told me he was over here i thought he was talking about jungwon.” You said. "Jake told you where i was?" he stared at you about to open his mouth when you finally noticed how he was acting and he could barely stand up.
“You’re high.” You scoffed. “aren’t you?” he didn’t say anything. “right, goodbye heeseung.” You went to turn away but he grabbed your hand. “wait yn.” You snatched your hand away. “let me explain.”
“explain what, that you lied to me, told me you weren’t coming here, told me you weren’t gonna get high, that you weren’t hooking up with other girls, made me fall for this bullshit, that you actually changed.” You felt yourself getting upset. “don’t be so dramatic yn.”
“don’t be dramatic?” You questioned. “fucking asshole.” You scoffed. “yeah it’s not a big deal, you knew how I was.” He said. “yeah but you’d promise to change.” He shrugged. “well, who’s fault is that, that you believed me, did I change back then?”
You didn’t even want to fight, he wasn’t even sober so you’d just get no here. “you’re right , that was my mistake.” You said , just as hanni came over. “we found jungwon.” She asset the situation, frowning. “yn?”
“let’s get jungwon and get out of here.” You grabbed her arm , dragging her away. “yn— I don’t want to talk about it.”
You both found jungwon and sunoo outside , jungwon crouched down groaning. “yn!” he shouted once he saw you. “you’re here!” he drunkenly wrapped his arms around you. “oh?” he grabbed your face. “why do you look so upset?” he slurred. “don’t be upset.” He stumbled. “get in the car.” You ignored what he said, helping hum in the car.
The drive to the boys dorm was silent until sunoo spoke up. “what’s wrong yn?” You gripped the steering wheel. “nothing.” You said, he turned to hanni, who just shook her head and it  continued to stay silent until they made it home.
You dropped hanni off at her dorm who sat in the front seat almost scared to say something. “he’s an asshole.” She said as you pulled up. “yeah.” Was all you said. “fuck him.” She opened the door. “yeah.”
She quickly touched your arm comforting you, getting out the car. “drive safely.” She waved you off, as you drove away.
You felt the tears streaming down your face as you drove back to your dorms, you hated him so much right now, you hated the fact that you allowed him back into your life just to hurt you again.
You hated that this time you actually fell in love with him.

MOVING ON ; LEE HEESEUNG
Tumblr media
lee heeseung x reader, angst no comfort, ooc heeseung?? maybe
notes: first fic heyy hope you guys liked it :3
Tumblr media
The first time you and Heeseung got together, you already knew something was wrong. It’s not like you didn’t love him, and vice versa, but the timing of you both getting together was... suspicious.
Heeseung had broken up with his ex, Minjun, around two weeks before you and him got together, and you obviously knew that the timing was weird.
It wasn’t until the third week of dating that you knew your suspicions were correct.
Heeseung wasn’t over his ex yet.
Every date he has taken you out on was similar to the dates he would take his ex-girlfriend out on. It was true that you had some similarities in interests with Heeseung’s ex, but not all of them were the same!
“Hey, Hee?” you called out to him softly. Heeseung stops typing and turns to look at you, giving you a soft smile that hurts your heart.
“Hm? What is it, love?” he replies.
You opened your mouth, wanting to say, “Do you still love me?” yet you couldn’t bring yourself to actually say it. “Um, do you want to order something for dinner later? I don’t feel like cooking today.” That was a lie. You loved cooking. It was almost like an escape from reality when you were cooking.
“Oh, that’s okay. Are you okay? You usually love to cook.” Heeseung asks, and you can’t help the feeling of happiness flowing through your body knowing that Heeseung at least remembers your hobby.
“Mm, I’m fine. I’m just a little tired from work today.” You gave him a small smile, and Heeseung turned his head back to his laptop to continue working.
Tumblr media
The next day, you woke up earlier than usual. You turned around to see Heeseung still fast asleep, and you couldn’t help but stare at his features. This was honestly the only time you were able to look at Heeseung without your heart hurting because you knew that he was going to wake up next to you and only you.
You scanned his face, letting a small smile show on your face. You quickly snapped back into reality, going out of bed slowly to get breakfast ready.
As you were making some pancakes, you hummed along to a slow song, eventually doing a little dance. Turning around to place the pancakes on the plate, you let out a small yelp, seeing Heeseung leaning against the doorway and staring at you.
“H-Hee! How long have you been there?” You asked nervously, placing the pancakes on a plate.
“Long enough to see you dancing,” he replies so casually, making your face burn. “Hey, don’t turn around! You never get embarrassed when I see you dancing. In fact, you always ask me to dance with you! Also, why are you making pancakes? I thought you preferred waffles over them.”
Your smile dropped.
You loved pancakes. They were probably one of your top three favorite foods.
He’s still thinking about Minjun, isn’t he? You thought to yourself with a frown on your face.
“I just... felt like eating pancakes today,” you replied, giving him a small smile. “Now, sit! Let’s eat before it gets cold.” Pushing Heeseung into his seat, you grabbed two cups of water, taking a deep breath to not cry in front of him.
Tumblr media
A few weeks had passed since that incident, and to be very honest, you were slowly giving up on your relationship with Heeseung.
Not only was he giving you stuff Minjun likes, but he also ended up forgetting to turn up to an important presentation of yours when he had already promised you.
His reason? The boys' basketball game was on the same day, and who was there watching the game? Minjun. Of course, he reasoned that he promised the rest of the boys that he would come to the game to watch them, but you knew better.
“Y/N, do you want to watch a movie? I have your favorite~” You turned around, surprised to see your favorite movie on the TV.
“Heeseung, I don’t feel like watching that today.” You say to him, returning to the laundry you were folding on the table. You didn’t hear Heeseung say anything else, so you thought that he was back on his phone, but instead, when you turned around, Heeseung was already standing behind you.
“Did I do something?” He asks you, fiddling with his fingers — a sign you recognize his nervousness. “You... just feel so distant these days, and you rarely call me by nicknames or pet names anymore.”
“Yeah, I'm fine,” you avoided making eye contact with him because you knew you'd cry when you met his gaze. “Why? I thought you didn’t like it when I gave you nicknames.”
Minjun rarely uses nicknames on Heeseung, so maybe he would love it when you stopped using them.
He places both of his hands on your shoulder, shaking you lightly, obviously making you look at him. “See?! This is what I’m talking about. You’re so… distant from me! I can’t even persuade you to eat your favorite food! Can you tell me what I did wrong already? I hate seeing you this quiet!”
Something snapped inside you. “You want to know so badly, do you? Fine, I’ll tell you!” you exclaimed, placing the basket of clothes back on the table. “You went to see Minjun during the basketball game, didn’t you? You only went there because you knew Minjun was going to be there,” Heeseung looks shocked. “I remember overhearing you tell Jungwon over the phone that you were too lazy to go to the basketball game, but when Jungwon mentioned Minjun coming, I just knew that you weren’t going to go to my presentation.”
“That’s-”
“I'm not done,” you said, interrupting him. “For the past few weeks, all you have been giving me is stuff that Minjun loves, not me. You even forgot what my favorite ice cream flavor was and only remembered what Minjun's was. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that I remember you calling me Minjun as I was leaving for work last week.”
His eyes widened.
Heeseung grabbed his bag from the dining table and quickly walked up to you to kiss you. “Bye, Junnie! I’ll call you when I’m going back home.”
“I’m tired, Heeseung. I hate that I don’t live up to your expectations. I hate that I will never be as good as Minjun. I hate that you’re always thinking about her when you’re dating me. Why did you date me when you actually still love Minjun?” You asked, your eyes welling up with tears.
Heeseung was quiet, as you had expected. One thing you learned from dating Heeseung was the fact that he was never one to admit to something, and yet he would never lie either. He would just stay quiet. That was one of his weaknesses.
You quickly wiped away your tears. “I’ll go pack my bags…”
“Huh—?” Heeseung quickly held onto your wrist tightly. “Wh-Where are you going?”
“Home, Hee…” you replied almost too weakly. The face Heeseung was making almost made you stay, but you stood your ground. “I love you, Hee, I really do, but this relationship... it just won’t work unless you actually do love me for me and not Minju.”
“B-But I do love you!” Heeseung exclaimed, and you watched him wrack his brain to make an excuse for you to stay. “I just- I just can’t let go of the habit from when I was with Minju, that’s all! I love you, Y/N… Please stay…”
He looked pitiful, really.
“I’m sorry, Heeseung.” That was the last thing you said before pulling your wrist back and grabbing a bag to pack your clothes. Heeseung could only watch silently as you slowly emptied out your side of the closet.
As soon as you were finished, you walked towards him, giving him a kiss on the cheek. “Thank you for the past month, Heeseung. I had tons of fun dating you!” You smiled at him, unable to stop a tear from slipping out. “I hope that in our next life, we will be able to meet and date each other once again.”
And then you left, leaving Heeseung and the place you once called home.

HEESEUNG COULDN’T EXACTLY PINPOINT THE EXACT MOMENT THE TWO OF YOU BECAME ENEMIES.
To him, it didn’t really matter. He didn’t even really see you as an enemy to begin with, you were just an extremely easy target, making it almost too easy for him to annoy - sometimes even humiliate you throughout the years; something he enjoyed doing maybe a little too much.
You, on the other hand? You knew exactly when Heeseung became your number one enemy.
You’d like to think that if Heeseung never slipped you that note in math class back in middle school, maybe you and Heeseung wouldn’t be where you were today. But sadly, Heeseung did slip you that note in math class and twelve-year-old you stupidly opened that note.
Maybe if you just threw that note away instead of reading it, you wouldn’t have to go through years of enduring Lee Heeseungs stupid ways of ticking you off. Maybe, just maybe, you would have avoided the incident that changed your and Heeseungs relationship for all eternity. But you were twelve years old, after all, and which twelve-year-old wouldn’t become curious if the cutest boy in their class slipped them a note?
Well, curiosity killed the cat. It didn’t make sense as to why the whole class was looking at you in anticipation, nor did it make sense as to why Lee Heeseung had just slipped you a note asking you to go out with him. He had never paid much attention to you before, so why would he suddenly be asking you, someone who he’d spoken to about three times in total, out?
Oh, how you wished it would’ve stayed that way.
The picture of his stupid grin as you walked up to him after class was practically burned into your mind at this point, holding the note in your hands as you told him your answer. Of course you said yes, who wouldn’t?
And as his loud laugh, the laugh you swore made your stomach turn inside out, echoed through the hallway, pointing his finger at you with his friends laughing alongside him; Lee Heeseung became your number one enemy.
Your classmates got over the whole thing quickly, only having to endure a couple of days of their endless teasing about you actually believing he was serious when he asked you out. Middle school was hectic, and by the following Monday morning, the whole school had long forgotten about your embarrassment. Heeseung, however? He was not going to forget about it that easily.
The look on your face as he told you it was just a joke was something Heeseung would remember for the rest of his life. The way your ears turned red from sheer embarrassment and how you quickly ran off with your hair covering your face, was most definitely the funniest thing 12-year-old him had experienced; not even Sunghoon tripping on his own shoelaces during soccer practice could beat the look on your face.
That’s when Heeseung made it his number one goal in life to make your life as miserable as possible.
And he most certainly did not disappoint. From shaking your bottle of coke during lunch without you noticing it only for you to get sprayed the second you twisted the lid open, to accidentally tripping you in the hallways; he did all of it, just to see the furious expression on your face.
As high school came around, you couldn’t be more relieved. After having to put up with Heeseung for years on end, you would finally be free; a completely new school, with new friends, new teachers, and most importantly, no Heeseung.
But as you walked through the doors of what you had pictured as heaven, a place where you could finally breathe without having to look behind your shoulder every step you took; your whole world came crumbling down and so did your dreams of having a peaceful high school experience.
With his stupid grin and his hands shoved down the pockets of his jeans, Lee Heeseung stared at you as you walked through the doors; the sparkle in his stupid doe eyes telling you everything you needed to know. At that moment, it became clear to you that getting rid of Heeseung wouldn’t be as easy as you had originally thought.
Not only did you have to endure another four years of Heeseung endless torment, but the boy also had decided to step it up compared to his childish middle school tactics. You were now in high school, and tripping you in the hallways no longer sounded appealing to Heeseung. So with his newfound status as a popular high school boy, he decided to do what people with that kind of status do best; spreading rumors.
As the news reached everyone else, it also eventually reached you. The news got everyone whispering as you walked down the halls, small giggles leaving the girls' lips and boys rolling their eyes as you walked by; leaving you completely clueless.
Until the amazing news of you being all over Heeseung at a party he attended the weekend before, a party you never even sat foot in; a party you didn’t even know existed reached you that being said. You had been quick to storm off, looking for the culprit himself, only for him to laugh in your face as you approached him. Apparently seeing the furious look on your face was amusing to him, like he hadn’t just ruined your entire high school experience. ‘’What? I’m not going to hook up with you if that’s why you’re here, I thought I made that clear at the party.’’ Had been his exact words, that shit-eating grin accompanying his words as he spoke.
For the entire four years, the four years that were supposed to be the prime time of your youth, that one rumor haunted you. All thanks to Lee Heeseung, your teenage fantasy came crashing down two weeks into your freshman year; no one forgot about the fact that 16-year-old you had tried getting in someone's pants the second you entered high school, not even four years later when the 18-year-old you graduated.
So when you entered college, you knew better than to expect a peaceful college experience. In some way, you were thankful you had mentally prepared yourself for Lee Heeseung to magically appear. Because if you hadn’t, you probably would’ve gone insane the moment you realized that Lee Heeseung would as a matter of fact be attending the very same college as you.
Something you however forgot to prepare yourself for, the most important thing to every boy attending college; what they would personally describe as the prime of their youth - fraternities.
Now, the fraternities itself wasn’t really the problem.
Sure, you never found it very appealing, not really understanding the thrill of living with a bunch of other men which you would call your brothers and using the precious fratboy term as an excuse for their shitty grades. Everything for the brotherhood, right?
But no, that still wasn’t the problem. The problem?
Lee Heeseung. More specifically, Lee Heeseung joining a fraternity.
With his tall figure and the doe eyes that every girl seemed to love, it wasn’t exactly hard for Heeseung to join a fraternity, any fraternity as a matter of fact. The fraternities wanted Heeseung more than Heeseung wanted them it seemed, while the other boys had to fight for their lives to prove themselves worthy, to even get to the recruitment part - Heeseung had every single fraternity in his Instagram DMs; practically begging him to join them.
And so he did.
Overnight, Heeseung went from the cute, lanky popular high school boy to your typical frat boy. He was still the very same Heeseung, he still wore the same grin as he walked down the hallways and he still wore the same dangly earring in his left ear; the same earring he had worn every day ever since he was a freshman in high school. Most importantly, however, was the fact that he was still the very same jerk, just worse. Much worse.
You guessed that it was the frat boy status that got to his head, when the attention he already received during his high school years almost tripled. Maybe it was all thanks to the number of people that showed up to the parties Heeseung and his stupid fraternity threw.
Which brings you to your current situation, sitting on a couch in someone's living room with loud music blasting through the room - a red cup in one of your hands and a very drunk girl hanging off your other arm. You had stopped listening to the girl rambling a long time ago, tuning out her voice as you sipped on the alcoholic beverage you had grabbed from some random kid standing in the kitchen.
You had no idea who the drunk girl sitting beside you was, nor did you know how much she had had to drink. But judging from the way she had practically tripped on nothing but air and from the way she had giggled with her eyes half shut when she apologized, she definitely had one too many drinks that night.
Not only had she clung onto your arm like the two of you had known each other for years, like you were a friend she hadn’t seen in a long time - when in reality, you had never even seen her before; but she also decided to go on a long rant. What the rant was about, however, was something you could not answer.
You were already uncomfortable as it was, being dragged to a party against your own will. Not necessarily because you didn’t feel like going to a party, no, that wasn’t the case.
You enjoyed partying. It was fun and you usually had a blast, as long as there was no one around to ruin your night. That special someone being no other than Lee Heeseung, of course. And with tonight's party being hosted by no other than Lee Heeseung and his stupid fraternity, you just couldn't bring yourself to enjoy it.
How could you, when Heeseung was lingering right around the corner, ready to ruin your whole night with a simple grin?
And an incredibly drunk girl telling you her whole life story only made the party even less appetizing. ‘’But I just don’t know how to get his attention, like why is he after my best friend and not me?’’ The girl whined beside you, causing you to hum in response; pretending like you were actually listening to anything she was saying as you scanned the room, looking for a way out of the situation you currently found yourself in.
‘’Do you have any tips for me? To like, get his attention or something’’
‘’Get who’s attention?’’
You immediately realized what you had just said, your eyes widening as your gaze shifted over to the girl now leaning on your shoulder. You practically just gave it away that you hadn’t been listening to a single word that had left her lips for the past thirty minutes.
She just stared at you for a moment with her eyebrows furrowed together, her eyelids still heavy before a giggle left her lips. ‘’Heeseung, stupid! I’ve been talking about him the entire night, were you not listening to me?’’
An uncomfortable chuckle left your lips as you shifted your gaze away from the girl once again as she playfully hit your arm. ‘’No, I have,’’ You tried defending yourself. ‘’I just forgot his name and needed you to remind me.’’
You almost laughed at your own lie as soon as it left your lips. Like you needed any reminding of who Lee Heeseung was. The girl beside you, however, seemed to believe your lie as yet another giggle trailed off her lips. ‘’Don’t be silly, I know you know who he is!’’
Her words caused you to once again look her way, now it was your turn to furrow your eyebrows in confusion. She just looked up at you with a grin spread across her lips, still holding onto your arm. ‘’What do you mean?’’ You asked. There was no way this random girl knew that you had known Heeseung almost your entire life, considering the fact that you only met her for the first time tonight. ‘’Well,’’ She sighed, finally letting go of your arm as she sat up straight for the first time since she slumped down next to you.
‘’I know you hooked up with him back in high school or whatever,’’
Your jaw almost hit the floor as soon as the words left her lips. When did the rumor of you allegedly trying to hook up with him turn into you actually hooking up with him? ‘’I what?’’ You almost stuttered as you spoke, the shock causing you to stumble over your own words. She nodded eagerly, the same grin still plastered on her lips. ‘’C’mon, it’s not like it’s a secret! Everyone knows you were like, one of the first girls he ever hooked up with,’’
You almost felt the need to pinch yourself, trying to figure out if this was some sick joke or not. One of the first girls he hooked up with? ‘’No, I never h-’’
‘’You don’t have to act like you didn’t, I mean, look at him! Who wouldn’t want to hook up with him?’’ She interrupted you before you even had a chance to deny the words coming out of her mouth, a sigh trailing off her lips as she finished speaking; her head hitting your shoulder once again. ‘’Isn’t he just so dreamy?’’
With one of her arms now extended, her index finger pointed toward something, or someone in the crowd. Your eyes followed her finger, your eyes eventually landing on the one and only, Heeseung himself.
Leaning against the wall, one hand shoved down the front pockets of his black jeans and a cap sitting on top of his head; his upper body leaning down as he spoke to the girl standing right in front of him. You could see him grinning as he whispered something into the girl's ear, the grin you swore you hated more than anything on the entire planet, causing you to clench your jaw in disgust the second he trailed his fingertips up and down the poor girl's bare arm, the girl you assumed to be the drunk girl sitting beside you’s best friend.
Not only had he made people believe you tried hooking up with him, but apparently that the two of you actually hooked up. A sour taste filled your mouth as you saw the girl across the room giggle into his touch, his eyes glued to her like she was the most delicious thing he had ever seen.
The lustful look on his face only made you even angrier. Someone needed to humble him, and they needed to humble him badly. ‘’So do you have any tips or not? Since you’ve already been with him, you probably know what he likes and stu-’’
‘’He’s shit in bed.’’
The words slipped out of your mouth before you could even think, taking yourself by surprise. Instant regret hit you, fighting against the urge to slap yourself across the face as you realized what had just left your lips. You could tell by the way the girl suddenly sat up straight that your words surprised her just as much as they had surprised you. ‘’What?’’
You considered just laughing off, telling her you were just joking and that she should just go for it. But with your eyes still glued to Heeseung standing across the room with his hand now placed firmly on her waist, disgust once more filled your senses. That’s when the idea popped into year head. ‘’Yeah, like he’s really bad, he has no idea what he’s doing,’’ You continued speaking, looking over at the now shocked girl.
Her eyelids were no longer droopy like they had been a few minutes earlier, her eyes now wide open as she stared at you in pure shock. ‘’But,’’ She stuttered, almost like she refused to believe your words. ‘’Everyone says he’s like a sex god or something!’’ She blurted out. A dry chuckle left your lips as you shook your head. ‘’Heeseung? He’s the furthest thing possible from a sex god.’’
The girl sitting beside you only stared at you for a moment, her lips parted in shock before leaning back on the couch; mumbling something indistinctive under her breath. ‘’Are you sure? The two of you hooked up in high school after all, maybe he’s gotten better?’’
Your eyes darted over to the wall which Heeseung was leaning against once again, a small grin forming on your lips as you spotted him now pressing kisses against the girl's neck. ‘’We’ve hooked up in college too,’’ You let out. ‘’And he’s still just as bad.’’
If Heeseung got to ruin your reputation, not only in high school but apparently in college as well, it was only fair that you got to tear his reputation down as well. What could such a little lie possibly do to his indestructible reputation, anyways?
The girl beside you let out a gasp before slapping one of her hands over her mouth, her eyes darting over to Heeseung as well. ‘’But there’s just no way,’’ She mumbled, leaning forwards as she kept her eyes glued on the boy standing across the room. ‘’Like bad how, exactly?’’
‘’Like can’t make girls cum at all type of bad.’’
Another gasp left the girl's lips as you brought the red cup you had been holding in your hand this entire time to your lips, a small smile still plastered on your lips as you sipped on the alcohol. ‘’But everyone says he’s amazing,’’ She mumbled, her eyes gaze shifting over to you. Another chuckle left your lips as you shook your head in response. ‘’Well, that’s just what Heeseung wants everyone to believe,’’ You replied, leaning back on the couch.
‘’Have you ever heard another girl saying that he’s good?’’
Your eyes met the girl's eyes, silence falling upon the two of you for a moment as she thought about your question. You had no idea if she was just drunk and going with whatever you were saying or if she had actually never heard another girl saying that Lee Heeseung was in fact a sex god, but you had to hold back a laugh as she shook her head in disbelief. ‘’You’re right, I don’t think I have.’’
Was he really that bad?
‘’Exactly.’’ You chuckled. ‘’He just wants everyone to believe he’s some type of sex god, when in reality he doesn’t even know how to finger a girl.’’
In reality, you had no idea what Heeseung was like in bed. As a matter of fact, you didn’t even want to know; but you could sure as hell pretend like you knew. And in your head, his good looks were incredibly deceiving as there was actually no way Lee Heeseung knew how to satisfy a girl. Not with that foul mouth of his.
‘’Oh my god,’’ the girl mumbled under her breath, her eyes still wide from the sudden shock of having her whole image of the Lee Heeseung being ripped to pieces. ‘’I can’t let my best friend hook up with him then!’’ Her words made you chuckle as you looked over at Heeseung once again.
A small smirk formed on your lips as you watched the girl stumbling across the room, making her way towards where her best friend and Heeseung were standing; his head dipped in the crock of her neck. The girl grabbed her friend's arm, the way she practically ripped her away from Heeseung's grip almost made you laugh out loud as you watched Heeseung stare at the two walking away from him with a confused look plastered on his face.
Game over, Lee Heeseung.
Tumblr media
‘’You what?’’
The boy sitting in front of you almost choked on his drink as you told him what had gone down the previous weekend. ‘’I hope I ruined his chances of getting laid that night.’’ You chuckled as you shook your head, remembering the look on Heeseungs face as his potential hook up was ripped away from him.
‘’This isn’t about him getting laid or not Y/N, why would you even tell someone you hooked up with him in the first place? Like the rumor wasn’t bad as it was,’’ Sungchan exclaimed, his eyes wide as he stared at you. You just rolled your eyes in response, crossing both your arms over your chest.
Sungchan wasn’t wrong. He had been there with you in high school when Heeseung first started spreading the rumor of you being all over him at some party. Sungchan was also the only one who believed you when you said it wasn’t true, considering the fact that he had been with you the entire night you were supposedly at the party as Heeseung claimed you were.
‘’The girl was drunk, like out of her mind drunk. I don’t think she even remembers speaking to me.’’
The boy sitting across the table from you let out a sigh, shaking his head. ‘’It’s gonna bite you in the ass, I’m telling you.’’ He mumbled, raising both his eyebrows as he spoke. You just stared at him, shooting him a sarcastic smile. ‘’C’mon, you can’t deny that it was a good way of ruining his night though.’’
A chuckle left Sungchans lips as he leaned forwards, wrapping his fingers around the drink placed in front of him. ‘’I guess it was.’’ His words caused a grin to form on your lips, leaning forwards; wrapping your own hands over his which was still wrapped around the plastic bottle. ‘’Of course it was, otherwise I wouldn’t have done it smartass.’’
Sungchan chuckled as he spotted the playful grin on your face, pushing your hands off his own. ‘’Careful, you don’t want people thinking you’re trying to get me into bed as well.’’
You met Sungchan in biology class on the first day of your freshman year in high school. The Sungchan you met back then however, was nothing like the Sungchan sitting in front of you now.
The Sungchan you met back in high school was nothing but a quiet, introverted and awfully shy kid. You, however, were so excited to make new friends that you had practically forced yourself onto the poor boy as you got assigned to sit next to him in biology.
Looking back, you almost cringed whenever your mind flashed back to your first encounter with the boy. He had stared at you like you were crazy for talking to him, something you completely missed back then. You were just so excited to make new friends, someone who didn’t know you from middle school.
But no matter how cringe it was looking back at it, you were thankful you actually did speak to him. And you knew Sungchan was just as thankful. In a way, Sungchan had you to thank for turning him into the boy sitting in front of you today.
Only within the first couple of months of your blossoming friendship Sungchan went from the introverted and lanky high school kid to this new almost extroverted and cheerful kid. Not necessarily because you were the most extroverted kid ever, but mainly because the friendship the two of you shared was so genuine. It was his first time ever sharing that kind of friendship with someone, as well as your first time.
Rolling your eyes once again at his witty reference, you playfully hit his arm. ‘’In your wildest dreams.’’
Not only had your best friend dramatically changed in terms of personality, but lookswise as well. He was no longer that lanky, almost awkward looking boy he used to be, he was more mature looking now. Sure, he still had that boyish look to him, but it was nothing compared to what he used to look like.
His shoulder had gotten significantly broader and his jawline had gotten more defined as the years passed, and you almost even dared to call him handsome.
Or you knew he was. There was no dancing around it, he was attractive. And if it wasn’t because of the relationship the two of you shared, maybe you would’ve actually considered hooking up with him one day; if you weren’t best friends, that being said. But you were, and there was no way you’d ever even consider it.
You realized you had been staring at the boy sitting across from you for a little too long, snapping out of your wandering thoughts as you unlocked your phone laying on the table in front of you to check the time. ‘’I need to go, I need to use the bathroom before my next class starts.’’
Sungchan nodded in response, shooting the drink in front of him across the table, the plastic bottle grabbing your attention; a confused look plastered on your face it slid across the table. ‘’Take it, in case you get thirsty during class.’’
A small grin replaced the confused look on your face as you stood up, grabbing the already half-empty drink. ‘’Be careful, we don’t want people to think you’re in love with me or something.’’ You winked, causing Sungchan to roll his eyes as he pretend to gag. ‘’Don’t make me take it back,’’ he warned you, causing you to quickly shove it down your bag. ‘’See you after class, Chan!’’ You exclaimed, already walking away from the table; waving him goodbye with a smirk on your face, watching as he shook his head before going back to eating his food.

With one earbud placed inside of your ear and the other hanging down your body, you walked through the hallways; music blasting through your headphones as you made your way toward the bathrooms.
The hallways were almost always empty at this time of the day, with every student busy eating their lunches. Lunchtime was always your favorite time of the day, mainly because you got to hang out with Sungchan but also because everything felt almost peaceful.
No one could've prepared you for how noisy college would be. You thought nothing could top the high school corridors, with a bunch of teenage boys yelling and fighting each other in the hallways and girls giggling while gossiping about something on their phones. You were fully convinced that college would be nothing like that, because when you enter college you’re no longer a kid. You’re grown, and the boys no longer fight in the hallways and the girls no longer stand huddled together against the lockers.
You were wrong.
Even though it was nothing like it was in high school, the boys no longer argued about football practice, and the girls no longer gossiped about the cute boys; in a way, maybe it was just like high school. But football got replaced by arguments consisting of when they should host their next frat party and the giggling about cute boys got replaced by gossiping about how the fratboys fucked their brains out.
Maybe college was just like high school after all. But that’s why you appreciated lunchtime, because the hallways felt awfully quiet for the first and only time during the day. Today, for example.
You couldn’t help but nod your head to the beat of the song blasting through your headphones, enjoying the peace and quiet as you walked down the empty hallway. That was until you heard distant arguing over your loud music, that being said.
Just as you were about to turn the corner, your steps came to a halt. Your eyebrows furrowed together as you slowly pulled your earbud out of your ear, lowering the volume as you tried to make out where the arguing came from; wanting to avoid bumping into a group of friends arguing, or even worse - a couple arguing.
That’s when you heard a familiar voice. The voice made you raise your eyebrows, your lips parting as you pressed your back against the lockers behind you; trying your best to hide yourself so the people arguing further down the hall wouldn’t notice your presence.
You listened intensely, trying your best to make out what the people were saying. But most of all, you were desperately trying to figure out whose familiar voice it was you were hearing. It was a voice you knew all too well, and the voice almost sent shivers down your spine, yet you just couldn’t figure out who it belonged to.
You know you shouldn’t look, you really shouldn’t. It’s none of your business, and you don’t want to make it your business either. But curiosity got the best of you and you can’t help but slowly peek from behind the lockers as discreetly as you possibly can, only to get a glimpse of the people arguing.
As soon as your eyes land on the figures standing further down the hall you realize just why the voice sounded so familiar to you. His lanky figure was leaning against the lockers, a girl standing in front of him with her back facing you, playing with her fingers nervously behind her back. You immediately recognized the boy as Heeseung, and the girl, well, as the girl from the party the previous weekend.
The girl you had ruined his chances of getting into bed with.
Your back hit the lockers behind you once again as you slapped your hand over your mouth to prevent a gasp from leaving your lips, your eyes wide as you realized the situation unfolding right in front of you.
You couldn’t help but notice the look in his eyes during the quick glance you got at him. His big doe eyes were no longer sparkling like they normally did, no, instead he almost looked sad. Something you had never seen before, something you didn’t even think Heeseung was capable of feeling.
‘’I just don’t get it Yunjin,’’ Heeseung let out, both frustration and hurt lingering in his voice as he spoke. You discreetly peeked your head around the lockers once again, trying your best to remain quiet so they wouldn’t notice you literally spying on their ongoing discussion. Heeseung dragged one of his hands through his hair in annoyance, his eyes still glued to the shorter girl standing in front of him.
‘’It’s just, I don’t think this is going to work out,’’ The girl whose name you noted to be Yunjin let out nervously, still playing with her fingers behind her back. ‘’But why? Where is this coming from?’’ Heeseung pressed, his eyebrows slightly furrowed together as he spoke.
Your lips slightly parted as you listened to the two speaking, your eyebrows slightly furrowing together as well as you tried figuring out what was going on. What was Heeseung doing standing in the middle of the hallway during lunchtime, arguing with the girl from the party? Was he really that butthurt from her getting dragged away?
A sigh left Yunjins lips before she mimicked Heeseung's actions by running her fingertips through her hair as well. ‘’Look, Heeseung,’’ She mumbled, Heeseungs eyes still glued to her as he waited for her to continue speaking. ‘’I’m sure you’re a great guy and all, I mean, the past two weeks we’ve spent together has been great,’’
So she wasn’t just some random girl. The two of them had actually been seeing each other, your eyes widening as you realized what was going on. Were you about to witness Lee Heeseung getting dumped? ‘’It’s just that I’ve heard some things about you and I just no longer see you and me being a thing.’’
You had to hold back a gasp as the words trailed off her lips. You knew that if you made as much as one single noise, they both would hear you and Heeseung would’ve probably killed you for listening to their conversation; considering the look on his face, you knew this wasn’t the right time to mess with him.
But you also couldn’t help but wonder what things she had heard about him. Maybe her friend actually did remember speaking to you and had told her everything you had told her, about how shitty he was in bed? You quickly disregarded the thought, remembering how incredibly drunk that poor girl had been. There was no way that your little lie was the reason behind this.
‘’What things? You can’t just tell me you want to stop seeing me because of something you heard, at least tell me what you’ve heard so I can clear things up!’’
Yet another sigh left Yunjins lips, her gaze meeting the ground. You could tell Heeseung was only getting more and more frustrated with the girl standing in front of him by the way he was now nibbling on his bottom lip. ‘’Just accept the fact that I don’t want to see you anymore, Heeseung.’’
If it wasn’t for the fact that you absolutely despised Heeseung, you would’ve felt bad for him. You could tell that her words hurt him and for a split second, you actually did feel the tiniest bit of compassion for him. That was until you realized it was Lee Heeseung, and the tiniest bit of compassion you had just felt went away. ‘’I need to go now,’’ Yunjin mumbled, picking up the bag she had placed beside her on the floor.
You watched as she walked past Heeeung, making her way down the opposite way of the hallway; Heeseungs lips parting like he was about to say something. He turned around, his back now facing you as he watched the girl make her way down the hallway but not a single word left his lips.
You should’ve turned around and left ages ago, yet you couldn’t force yourself to actually walk away; yet look away. Your eyes were still intensely watching Heeseung as he ran his fingers through his hair, letting out a loud curse as the girl went around the corner.
It wasn’t until Heeseung turned around and his eyes met yours you realized you were in fact still staring. Your eyes widened, quickly placing your back against the locker once again. You held your breath, praying that he hadn’t actually seen you peeking from behind the lockers, mumbling curses as you shut your eyes.
Suddenly, you heard him make his way down the hallway. You immediately opened your eyes as you realized his footsteps were approaching your end of the hallway, and not the opposite. You quickly grabbed your bag, sprinting the way you came; still mumbling curses as you ran down the hallway.
It wasn’t until you reached the classroom where your next class was being held you slowed down, panting as you bent over, placing your hands on top of your thighs as you desperately tried to catch your breath. You looked behind you, scared that you would spot Heeseung standing there; but to your surprise, the hallway was completely empty. You let out a sigh of relief, placing your bag on the floor as you ran your fingertips through your hair.
You were thankful that it was still lunchtime and no one had seen you running down the hallways like your whole life depended on it, embarrassment washing over you as you realized that there was a possibility that anyone had seen you.
Including Heeseung.
The thought of Heeseung seeing you, spying on him and then running for your life made you want to sink through the ground. You prayed that he hadn't actually seen you and you had been quick enough for him to miss your eyes peeking from behind those lockers. You squeezed your eyes shut at the thought of Heeseung endlessly teasing you about it, making your life even more of a living hell.
By the time the first student arrived, you had managed to catch your breath and you were even able to shoot the other student a small smile as they greeted you. The small amount of sweat that had formed around your hairline however was still visible and you noticed how the student slightly furrowed their eyebrows together at the sight.
Wiping your forehead, you let out a sigh as you realized you didn’t even get to go to the bathroom. Spying on Heeseung and seeing him get dumped wasn’t as worth it as you originally thought as the urge to use the toilet crept upon you.
Lee Heeseung and his ways of constantly ruining your life.
Tumblr media
The picture of Heeseung getting brutally rejected kept lingering in your mind the following days. You had to hold back a laugh from leaving your throat every time the image of his furrowed eyebrows popped up in your mind, like right now for example; a small smile forming on your lips as the image of him running his hands through his hair in frustration once again flashed through your mind.
Not only had you caused Heeeung to not get laid, but you had also witnessed him getting dumped - all within the spawn of three days.
Some might call it luck, some may say it was unfortunate for him; but you? You’d like to call it karma. He had it coming, after all.
To your surprise, however, Heeseung hadn’t bothered you all week  - something that was incredibly unusual. Normally, he’d go out of his way at least once a day to annoy you, everything from some smart remark about the clothes you were wearing to blocking your locker.
But every time you walked past him, he didn’t even look your way.
At first, it surprised you. You had prepared yourself for some remark of some sort as you spotted him walking in your direction. But the remark never came, instead he just simply passed by without even laying his eyes on you. It left you confused, purely because something like that hadn’t happened in years. And as the week passed, and Heeseung didn’t even look your way once; you started to feel accomplished instead of confused.
Maybe you truly did manage to humble him by ruining his chances of getting laid that night.
‘’Earth to Y/N,’’
Sungchans voice snapped you out of your thoughts, the image of Heeseung getting blurry as Sungchan waved one of his hands in front of your face; leaning over so he could get a better look at your face. You blinked your eyes, clearing your throat as you put the pencil you had unknowingly been chewing on down on the bed. A chuckle was heard coming from Sungchan. ‘’What are you thinking about?’’
His question almost caused a grin to form on your lips once again, shaking your head in response. ‘’Nothing important,’’ You replied, flashing him a taunting smile as you leaned back on your bed.
It wasn’t unusual for you and Sungchan to hang out after school. Normally, Chenle would join the two of you as well; if he wasn’t busy hanging out at the frat, that being said.
You had met Chenle through Sungchan. The two of them knew each other before you even met Sungchan, and even though they weren’t exactly friends they usually hung out in a group of other people through out middle school. It wasn’t until Chenle showed up at some high school party you and Sungchan had attended together, however, that you met him.
That night had been the first time Chenle had ever gotten drunk and Sungchan was the only person he could recognize in his drunken state, which led to him following him around the whole night like a lost puppy. You had been there to help clean himself up after he had vomited in a bush outside the party, before he begged both you and Sungchan with tear-stained cheeks never to tell a single soul about what had happened. With a crying Chenle and with small giggles trailing off both your and Sungchans lips, a new friendship formed.
Chenle, to this very day, still denied that night ever happened. You weren’t sure if it was because he was still embarrassed about it, or if he just didn’t want his new frat buddies to find out about his miserable first experience of getting drunk. But one thing was for sure, he did not give up on his party life because of that minor incident. Which is why it didn’t come as a surprise to you when he decided to try getting into some of the fraternities the second he sat foot in college.
You were happy for him when he finally got into one of them, excited about all the parties he’d be able to get both you and Sungchan into with his new position as an official fratboy. But just like always, the universe seemed to have something personal against you when it turned out that Chenle had, as a matter of fact, gotten accepted into the very same fraternity as Lee Heeseung.
To make things even worse, the two of them became friends. Not only did they become friends, but good friends. Chenle hadn’t been around in high school like Sungchan had, therefore he didn’t exactly know the history you and Heeseung shared - even though you had told him about it multiple times. He always just shrugged it off, he never really understood why it was such a big deal anyways. To him, it was just a harmless rumor that hadn’t actually caused you any harm.
Maybe if he knew about the torment Heeseung had put you through ever since middle school, he would’ve actually understood why the rumor of you trying to get in his pants was a big deal.
‘’Whatever you say,’’ Sungchan mumbled, leaning against the headboard of your bed. ‘’Have you even been listening to what I’ve been saying?’’ You looked over at him, a small apologetic smile on your lips. Sungchan let out a groan as he spotted your smile, indicating that you hadn’t been listening to a single word that had left his lips.
‘’I asked you about the party tomorrow night.’’
Now it was your turn to let out a groan, leaning back so you were laying flat on your back. You put your hands over your face, rubbing your eyes in annoyance as your friend reminded you of the upcoming party. Chenle’s upcoming party. ‘’I really don’t want to go,’’ Your words came out muffled due to your hands covering your mouth as you spoke. ‘’You have to, it’s his birthday Y/N,’’ Sungchan argued, lightly slapping your legs; causing you to peak through your fingers.
The serious look on his face told you he wasn’t playing around. You stared at him for a moment before a sigh escaped your lips, letting your hands fall off your face. ‘’I know, I know.’’
It wasn’t that you didn’t want to attend your friend's birthday party. There was no way you’d actually miss it, he was one of your best friends after all; the only problem was that you knew you’d bump into Heeseung.
With Heeseung and Chenle being practically best friends, and with you and Chenle also being best friends, there was just no way you’d be able to avoid him. You were there to celebrate your friend, and so was he; leaving you with no other choice but to hang out with Lee Heeseung - against your will. ‘’You can’t avoid it just because Heeseung will be there,’’ Sungchan let out, his eyes still glued to you.
You rolled your eyes in response. ‘’I know and I won’t. I’m not going to miss my friend's birthday party just because he’s there.’’
Well, a part of you wanted to do exactly that. But you know that would make you a shitty friend, knowing how fed up Chenle already was with the relationship you and Heeseung shared. He just wanted the two of you to get along and not argue every time the two of you as much as walked by each other, how hard could it possibly be?
Well, harder than he could possibly phantom. ‘’Whatever you say,’’ Sungchan mumbled once again, tearing his eyes off you as he picked up the notepad laying in front of him; placing it in his lap. ‘’You can just avoid him as much as you can and no one ends up getting hurt.’’ His words made a dry chuckle leave your lips. ‘’Like avoiding him is possible when Chenle is so far up his ass.’’
You could tell Sungchan was holding back a laugh by the way his lips almost twitched into a smile. He knows he shouldn’t laugh, he knows he should tell you off for speaking about your friend like that; but he also knows it is true. He knows Chenle views Heeseung like he’s some type of higher being, when in reality he’s just a jerk. But he fits the frat boy stereotype perfectly, and Chenle wanted nothing more than to fit right into that role as well.
‘’Don’t worry, I’ll protect you from the big bad monster,’’ Sungchan playfully grinned at you, your lips parting before playfully kicking him in the arm, a chuckle trailing off his lips as he dodged your kick. ‘’You better, or he might come after you next.’’

Now standing in the hallway where your friend's birthday party was being hosted, you immediately regretted coming. The smell of men's perfume filled your nose the second you stepped into the house, making you scrunch your nose in disgust as the scent only continued to get worse. What did you expect of a house filled with nothing but boys?
‘’Do you want me to hand him the gift or do you want to do it?’ Sungchan mumbled into your ear as you walked through the already packed living room, greeting people as you walked past. ‘’You can do it, you were the one who bought it anyways.’’ You mumbled back, shooting a smile at some familiar faces in the crowd as you continued making your way through the crowd.
You had practically begged Sungchan to be the one buying him a gift, claiming you had no idea what to get a frat boy for his birthday. Not that Sungchan knew any better, but at least he was a man himself and had a somewhat better idea of what to get another boy his age for his birthday. He eventually decided to go with a nice bottle of whiskey, a bottle that you knew Chenle would proudly place on top of one of the shelves in his room as decoration.
‘’Not only do I have to be the one buying it, but the one giving it to him as well?’’ Sungchan muttered into your ear, causing you to roll your eyes. You were about to argue back, but a loud yell coming from in front of you interrupted your thoughts. ‘’You made it!’’
Your eyes shifted over to the direction where the voice was coming from, a big smile spreading across your lips as you spotted Chenle making his way toward you. ‘’You really think I’d miss my best friend's birthday party? Who do you take me for?’’ You giggled as you felt his arms wrap around your body, pulling you into a tight hug. He slowly rocked your body back and forth, a chuckle trailing off his lips. ‘’I’m just joking, I know you wouldn’t.’’
You watched with a big smile on your lips as Chenle pulled the taller boy beside you into a tight hug as well, a chuckle trailing off your lips as the two slightly stumbled backward. ‘’Be careful, I don’t want to drop your birthday present,’’ Sungchan let out, pushing the shorter boy off himself with a chuckle trailing off his lips. An ironic gasp left Chenle’s lips as he spotted the brown bag Sungchan was holding in one of his hands.
‘’You got me a gift? Guys, you didn’t have to do that!’’
Sungchan only rolled his eyes in response as he handed him the bag, which he didn’t even bother wrapping before leaving for the party. With his shaky handwriting and a pen that almost didn’t even work, he had written ‘To: Chenle, From: Sungchan and Y/N’ across the brown paper bag. You had scolded him for it when you had met up with him, to which he only replied that you should’ve done it yourself if you weren’t pleased with his efforts.
Chenle was quick to tear the paper bag off, only to reveal a nice bottle of whiskey. This was the first time you even saw the bottle, putting your trust in Sungchan when he said he’d buy the fanciest bottle he could find. And he did not disappoint, it was a nice bottle. And judging by the way Chenle’s eyes lit up as he held the bottle up, you could tell he found it just as nice.
‘’Dude, I’m totally putting this in my room for everyone to see,’’ You had to stifle a laugh as the words trailed off his lips, confirming what you had originally thought. Maybe you knew your friend better than you thought. Before you knew it, you were pressed firmly against his chest once again; a squeal leaving your lips as he lifted you up into the air. ‘’Thank you so much,’’ He excitedly let out, refusing to put you down even though you were now giggling and playfully hitting his arm, begging him to put you down.
After Chenle ran off to show his friends the bottle he had just received, boosting about it being the nicest bottle he had ever seen, the night went on.
You stayed by Sungchans side the entire night, chatting with each other over the loud music. Even though Sungchan was no longer the same awkward and introverted kid he once was, he still wasn’t the type to enjoy parties. He could appreciate the social aspect of it, but the drinking? Not so much. But Chenle had managed to get him to drink various drinks throughout the night, something Sungchan usually never did, but it was his best friend's birthday party after all; and who was he to refuse his requests?
‘’When do you think they’re bringing out the cake?’’ Sungchan let out, his eyes scanning the packed room from the corner where the two of you were standing. A chuckle left your lips as your eyes scanned the room as well, spotting Chenle dancing in the crowd. ‘’Not anytime soon,’’ You sighed, taking a sip of the alcohol Chenle had poured you. ‘’Then I have time to run to the bathroom,’’ Sungchan mumbled beside you, placing his cup on the table beside him. You only nodded in response, your eyes darting over to look at him again.
‘’Just be quick,’’ You let out to which he chuckled. ‘’Are you scared the big scary monster is going to get you?’’ He smirked at you, causing you to roll your eyes at the mention of Heeseung. ‘’You’re so funny.’’ You let out, glaring at him as he winked at you before disappearing into the crowd.
Your eyes scanned the room once again, the small smile returning to your lips as you watched Chenle dancing across the room. For a moment, you considered joining him; it was his birthday after all, and he looked like he was having way more fun than you judging by the big smile on his face as he danced with his friends.
Speaking of Heeseung, you had yet to even see him.
The thought, however, barely even crossed your mind before you felt a strong grip around your wrist. You didn’t even get to look at the person who was now holding onto your wrist before you were suddenly dragged up the stairs leading to the second floor, the second floor which Chenle had made very clear was off limits.
‘’I mean it, do not go on the second floor,’’ The serious look on his face as he told you had almost made you laugh, like he was telling you the most serious thing ever. ‘’I wasn’t planning on going up there begin with.’’ You chuckled, raising one of your eyebrows. Chenle let out a sigh before shaking his head. ‘’No, I mean it Y/N,’’
‘’Do not go on the second floor.’’
This time, you could no longer hold back your laughter. Chenle just rolled his eyes at your reaction, getting annoyed that you weren’t taking him seriously. ‘’I’m serious,’’ He whined, watching as you bent over the bed laughing, holding your stomach. ‘’The boys hate when people go up there and they’d literally kill me if they ever found out my friends went up there.’’
The boys, as he liked to refer to them as, were in fact his fellow frat buddies. You wiped your eyes, rolling them before shaking your head. ‘’Don’t worry, you can tell the boys that I wasn’t planning on it.’’
Well, you weren’t. But with the person now dragging you up the stairs, you had no other choice than to follow them as their grip around your wrist was stronger than you; despite your desperate efforts to try to snatch your arm away. The darkness made it almost impossible for you to see who the person was, which only made you even more nervous.
‘’What the fuck,’’ You let out as you reached the top floor, the person in front of you finally letting go of your wrist. ‘’What are you doing?’’ You exclaimed, your gaze darting down to look at your wrist which was now slightly throbbing in pain from the steady grip. ‘’No, what the fuck are you doing?’’
You recognized the voice faster than you would’ve liked. Your eyes immediately darted back up, only to come face to face with Heeseung. Your eyes slightly widened as you scanned his face, his eyebrows furrowed together and his lips pressed into a thin line; he was angry. He was really, really angry.
A chuckle trailed off your lips after a second of nothing but silence. ‘’Careful dragging me up here, people might think you’re trying to fuck me.’’ You hissed at him, knowing your words will only tick him off even more.
Over the years, you learned how to bite back whenever he tried getting on your nerves. The first time you had talked back, his eyes had widened for a split second; something he never expected you to do. But as the years passed, it no longer surprised him and now he found himself laughing in your face at your desperate attempts to defend yourself.
Only he didn’t laugh this time.
‘’Everyone already seems to think we’ve fucked so it doesn’t really matter, does it?’’
Another dry chuckle left your throat. ‘’Your own lie biting you in the ass, Heeseung?’’ You glared at him, A sarcastic chuckle leaving his lips as he ran his hands through his hair in frustration, just like he had done when you witnessed him getting dumped; his eyes looking everywhere but at you.
‘’Why are you telling people I can’t make a girl cum?’’
His eyes met yours as he finished speaking, his big doe eyes squinted as he stared at you. You just stared at him for a moment, both shock and amusement washing over you. So the girl had remembered what you had told her after all. And not only had she remembered, but the words had somehow reached Heeseung which meant that she was now telling other people about it.
‘’You haven’t even slept with me, so why the fuck would you even say that?’’ He continued as you only stood there, staring at him while trying to process what had happened.
You had unknowingly spread a rumor about Lee Heeseung, the boy who once ruined your whole reputation by once spreading a rumor about you.
‘’For the exact same reason you told the whole school I tried sleeping with you!’’
Heeseung clenched his jaw as he groaned, throwing his hands up in the air. ‘’Really? That was years ago now Y/N!’’ He exclaimed, his eyes still glued to you. ‘’Well since someone came to me claiming that we slept together the rumor still seems to be relevant,’’ You hissed, crossing your arms over your chest. Heeseung let out a curse under his breath as the words left your mouth, shaking his head in disbelief.
‘’You should be thankful, it’s not like it’s a bad rumor.’’ He hissed back. ‘’Are you kidding me? You made everyone believe I was some kind of attention whore,’’ You defended yourself. This was the first time you ever spoke about the whole rumor thing with Heeseung, and only now did you realize that he had no idea how his stupid rumor affected your high school years.
Heeseung once again let out a groan in annoyance. ‘’So you decided to make that rumor even worse by adding even more lies to it?’’ He spat at you. You shook your head in response, a small smile forming on your lips. ‘’No, I just did it so you wouldn’t get laid.’’
‘’Well now I won’t be getting laid ever again! Why would you tell Chaeryeong out of all people? She never knows how to keep her mouth shut!’’
You raised one of your eyebrows in confusion. You had no idea who Chaeryeong was, you had never even heard of her before; until it hit you. The girl you had told all about Heeseung and how incredibly bad he was in bed must’ve been Chaeryeong. Even though you felt like laughing in his face, you decided to not do so. You didn’t feel like putting your whole life on the line today.
‘’I’m going back downstairs.’’
You had already turned around as the words left your mouth, your back facing him as you made your way towards the stairs. However, Heeseung was not done with the conversation the two of you were having; causing him to once again grab onto your wrist, this time to prevent you from walking away.
You were about to curse him out, anger building up inside of you as you once again felt his tight grip around your wrist. The sound of someone coming up the stairs behind you, however, interrupted your thoughts.
You immediately looked over at Heeseung, fear replacing the previous angry expression you had worn on your face. Heeseung wore the exact same expression on his face, his face going pale as he remembered his own rule. He wasn’t even supposed to bring someone up there in the first place.
‘’Heeseung?’’
Your panic only grew as you recognized the voice as no other than Chanle’s. You kept your eyes glued on Heeseung, who only looked at you with the same amount of fear in his. You wanted to slap him across the face for not quickly thinking of a solution, for a way to avoid Chenle walking up the stairs and spotting the two of you; he had been the one who had dragged you up there after all. Not only did you not want your friend to see you standing alone with Lee Heeseung, but you knew he’d scold you for even going up there in the first place.
But Heeseung just stood there, not moving an inch - his grip on your arm only tightening for each second that passed.
‘’Bro, are you up here? We’re gonna bring out the cake soon,’’ Chenle’s voice only got closer which only contributed to your panic. You could tell Heeseung panicked as well judging by the way his eyes were now darting around the hallway, looking for a way out of the current situation he found himself in.
You were about to snatch your arm away, not wanting to stand around anymore, getting ready to quietly slip into one of the doors beside you. At this point you didn’t even care about the one rule Chenle had ordered you to follow, you’d much rather he found you in one of the bedrooms rather than him spotting you with Heeseung.
Heeseung, however, seemed to have other plans. Before you could even consider where to escape, you felt yourself being pulled to the side; almost causing a yelp to leave your throat as you suddenly felt Heeseung press his hand over your mouth.
Your back suddenly hit his chest, causing your eyes to widen. You had never been this close to Heeseung in your entire life and the fact that his hand was firmly placed over your mouth was stopping you from making as much as a single sound. Not only could you feel Heeseungs hot breath fanning across your neck, but the room he had just pulled you into was pitch black as well; making it impossible for you to even see your surroundings.
But judging by the way Heeseung had you pressed up again this chest, you figured the room couldn’t be that big. You knew Heeseung well enough to know that he would never hold you this close voluntarily.
His touch sent shivers down your spine, and it most definitely wasn’t the type of shiver that sent butterflies flying in your stomach. No, you almost felt sick to your stomach as you realized it was the Lee Heeseungs hand placed over your mouth, his rough fingers touching your lips - and breathing down your neck.
‘’Don’t you dare make a single sound, okay?’’ He hissed into your ear, speaking so quietly that you almost didn’t even hear him. You only nodded in response, too scared to even utter a single breath.
The whole situation almost felt surreal to you.
The closest you had ever been to Heeseung was whenever his hands ruffled through your hair or whenever he’d accidentally bump into you walking through the hallway, but other than that he always kept a safe distance from you. But there you were, closer to him than you had ever been before with your back pressed firmly against his chest - something you never thought would happen, nor was it something you had wished for.
You could hear footsteps approaching from outside the door, feeling the grip that Heeseung had on you tighten as they came closer. You weren’t too sure as to why he was holding onto you, almost like he expected you to run out of there if he let you go. Not that it mattered, you were too paralyzed by the whole situation to even consider moving anyways.
As you heard the footsteps slowly descend back down the stairs, you allowed yourself to breathe; grabbing onto Heeseungs hand that was still covering your mouth and ripping it away from your face. A gasp left your lips as you were finally able to breathe properly, slightly stumbling forwards, trying your best to get away from Heeseungs presence.
‘’What the fuck!’’ You hissed at him, turning around to face him; not that you could see him. The room was still pitch black from Heeseung never turning on the light. Not that it really mattered, you hoped that he didn’t need to see the angry expression you wore on your face for him to understand how mad you were - the anger lingering in your voice speaking for itself.
But to your surprise, it seemed like Heeseung didn’t quite catch onto your hints as you once more felt his hot breath against your throat; causing your eyes to widen. ‘’I told you to be quiet,’’ He hissed into your ear, causing you to slightly panic now that you couldn’t see just how close he was standing to you.
You desperately put your hands on top of his chest, getting ready to push him away from you. Your panic only continued to grow as you felt him quickly grab onto both your hands, bringing them down to his side; his hands still holding onto yours. ‘’Why do you always have to be so goddamn difficult?’’
You swore you could feel his lips brush against the skin of your neck as he spoke, sending shivers against your spine once more. This time, however, you couldn’t exactly pinpoint what the feeling now rushing your body meant. You weren’t sure if being in the dark, pressed up against Heeseung had made you lose your mind or if your heart actually skipped a beat as his lips slightly touched your neck; you weren’t too sure if you wanted to find out either.
All you knew was that you needed to get out of there. And you needed to get out of there quickly.
But it seemed like your legs picked the perfect timing to deceive you, refusing to move as much as an inch as you stayed frozen to the spot; Heeseung still holding onto both your hands, now feeling his hot breath against your face. It wasn’t until a quiet chuckle escaped his lips that you realized you were still in fact staring at him, your eyes slowly adjusting to the dark. ‘’I can feel you staring at me, you know.’’ He whispered.
You wanted to scream. You wanted to throw yourself out of the door, get away from his presence; anything. Yet no matter how hard you tried to get your body to move, you simply just couldn’t. Not only was your body refusing to move, but your ability to speak also seemed to be gone as not a single word left your lips. Heeeung remained quiet for a second, before leaning even closer to you.
‘’Don’t tell me that’s your heart pounding?’’
His words only freaked you out even more as you realized that your heart was in fact pounding. You hadn’t even realized it until he pointed it out, turning you into even more of a nervous wreck. You weren’t sure if you were nervous because of your best friend almost catching you pressed up against Lee Heeseung, or if it was Heeseungs presence that made you nervous. Both options seemed equally bad to you.
Another chuckle trailed off Heeseung's lips as you failed to respond to his question. ‘’Never knew I had that effect on you,’’
Normally, you would’ve just rolled your eyes or told him to fuck off. But in a situation like this, in a completely dark room where you had no vision of your surroundings with him only moving closer and closer to you, those options were completely off the table. You wanted to tell him how wrong he was, that he did not have that effect on you, but your heartbeat definitely told not only Heeseung, but you as well, otherwise.
You had been preoccupied with your own racing thoughts to even notice that he had let go of your hands, both of them now hanging by your sides. It wasn’t until you felt him place one of his hands on your face you realized that he had let go of them, his touch almost making you flinch.
A series of curses ran through your mind as you felt him place his thumb under your chin, tilting your face up; your eyes still wide from the shock. Maybe you were happy that he never turned on the light, you knew he’d endlessly tease you if he could see the look on your face. Although he didn’t even need to see your face, the faint sound of your pounding heart told him enough.
You felt his head dip in between your neck and shoulder, the feeling of his lips brushing against your skin causing you to let out a gasp. ‘’Should’ve told me sooner and you wouldn’t have to lie about sleeping with me.’’ He mumbled, his lips finally meeting your skin.
Upon his rough lips meeting the skin of your neck, you grabbed onto the surface right beside you, your hand coming into contact with a sink; making you realize you were in a bathroom.
You had no idea how you ended up in this situation. You had no idea how the fuck you ended up in a bathroom with Lee Heeseung, the person you swore you hated more than anyone else on this entire planet, with his lips leaving wet kisses down your neck. What you did know, however, was the fact that you desperately needed to get out of there.
Heeseung wasn’t going to let you get away that easily though. Almost like he read your mind, he grabbed onto your waist; pushing you up against the counter beside you. A small yelp left your lips as your lower back hit the counter, Heeseungs lips still attached to your neck.
‘’Maybe you’ll let me prove you wrong, Y/N?’’
His lips left your neck, now slightly hovering above your own lips instead. You felt your breath quickening as you felt his top lip slightly brush against your own; one of his hands was still placed on the side of your face, his thumb tilting your head upwards.
‘’Prove me wrong?’’ You managed to stutter out, not even sure if he could hear you due to how quietly the words left your mouth. He hummed in response and if the room hadn’t been completely dark, you’d be able to see the grin that had formed on his lips.
‘’You’d let me prove to you that I can make any girl cum, wouldn’t you?’’
As soon as the words left his lips, you could’ve sworn you stopped breathing for a second. Normally you probably would’ve cringed at his words, but the shock that had washed over you was making it almost impossible for you to even utter a single word.
Or maybe it was the way his lips brushed against yours that had made you question your entire existence, making it hard for you to breathe properly; how were you supposed to know when all you could possibly focus on was the way he was now pressing his body up against your own?
You knew this was just his way of messing with you. He probably found it amusing, seeing how you became a stuttering mess with him this close to you. You knew he was only doing it for his own amusement, your mind flashing to the future for a split second - a future where Heeseung would tell everyone how he had you quivering in his arms by doing nothing but press soft kisses against your skin.
There was no way you’d ever let that happen.
‘’Yes.’’
Or maybe you would. The word trailed off your lips so softly, so softly that Heeseung almost missed the way they fell off your lips so perfectly. But he didn’t, he didn’t miss the way you whimpered a ‘yes’, which was his cue to press his hovering lips against your own.
It all happened too fast, too fast for you to even realize the fact that your hands had wrapped themselves around his neck; pulling him deeper into the kiss. Your mind was too foggy to even try to comprehend what was happening, simply accepting the fact that you found yourself pressed up against someone when you should be downstairs celebrating your friend's birthday.
Your brain just choose to ignore the most important part, that the person you had just pulled into a kiss was in fact no one other than Lee Heeseung.
His lips felt almost too soft against your own. His touch, however, was not nearly as soft. You could now feel his fingernails digging into your skin as his hand slipped under your shirt, the grip he had on your jaw only hardening the deeper the kiss got. A small whimper left your lips as you felt him run his tongue over your bottom lip, asking you for permission to enter your mouth.
The darkness definitely contributed to the whole situation. If you had actually been able to see him, there was no way you’d let him even come remotely to close to you. But you couldn’t, and the darkness made it almost too easy for you to fall into some sort of fantasy where the boy who was now slightly tugging on your bottom lip was someone completely different.
Someone who wasn’t Heeseung.
So that’s what you imagined as his tongue come into contact with yours, causing the kiss to become much messier. You almost whined as his lips left yours, only to travel back down your neck; this time leaving much wetter and harsh kisses. A small whimper left your lips as you felt the dangly, silver earring he was wearing brush against your skin; the cold sensation only heightened the feelings you were already experiencing.
The feelings you refused to accept were indeed rushing through your body, you refused to accept that you were indeed starting to rub your thigh together in order to relieve the throbbing now coming from your core. Heeseung seemed to catch onto you trying to discreetly but desperately relieve the aching feeling, a chuckle trailing off his lips as he felt you uncomfortably shift underneath him.
His fingertips suddenly started tracing up and down your bare thigh, causing a small gasp to leave your lips; his sudden action taking you by surprise. You weren’t complaining though, feeling his fingertips lightly drag across your skin, moving closer and closer to the spot where you needed him the most.
It wasn’t until he pulled the skirt you were wearing up, rolling it up by your waist and his fingertips traced over your clothed core that he let out a groan. His fingertips immediately came into contact with the growing wet patch that had formed in your underwear, causing him to slightly bite into your skin. ‘’You’re incredibly wet for someone who claims to hate my guts,’’ He grunted against your skin, causing your eyes to flutter close as he lightly tapped your clothed clit.
‘’Shut up,’’ You hissed through your teeth, the last thing you wanted right now was for him to tease you. The only thing you needed was for him to touch you, and you needed it badly. Too badly. A dry chuckle trailed off his lips, pressing his lips onto the skin right below your ear as he slipped his hand into your underwear.
You let out a sigh of relief as his fingers came into contact with your clit, running two of his fingers up and down your slit. A hiss left his lips as your arousal covered his fingers, feeling his cock twitch in his jeans; something he chose to ignore as his fingertips reached your entrance.
The first finger slipped into you with ease, your slick walls welcoming him with a moan trailing off your lips. He had to hold back a moan himself as his knuckles came into contact with your sticky entrance, slowly pumping his finger in and out of you before eventually slipping in yet another finger.
Your hands grabbed onto his hair, slightly tugging on it as the new sensation took over your body. Never had someone ever fingered you before, and you surely never expected Heeseung to be the first one to do so. But with the way his index and pointer fingers were now pumping in and out of you at an agonizingly slow pace, you simply couldn’t help but fall into the pleasure of it all.
Even though it was the fingers of the person you hated more than anyone else making you feel good, you simply just couldn’t deny the fact that he was indeed making you feel a little too good.
‘’You gonna take back what you said?’’ He mumbled against your skin, his fingers still pumping in and out of you. You had to bite back a moan, shaking your head. ‘’Never.’’
Your words only riled Heeseung up even more, a grin forming on his lips as he pulled his fingers out of you completely. You were about to whine in protest, an empty feeling washing over you as his fingers slipped out of you. But before you could utter a single word, he slammed his fingers into you once again; a loud gasp leaving your lips, slapping one of your hands over your mouth to stop the whimpers about to leave your lips.
‘’We’ll see about that.’’
The previous speed he had set changed into something almost sinister, the sound of his knuckles hitting the wet skin surrounding your entrance filled the room as you spread your legs further apart, making it easier for him to slam his fingers into you.
At this point you couldn’t even control the moans spilling past your lips, nor did you try to. You were too lost in the bliss of his fingers pumping in and out of you at just the right speed to even notice the way you were moaning into his ear. It wasn’t until he curled his fingers, his fingers now hitting just the right spot you realized how loud you were being as a loud yelp left your lips.
Heeseung quickly realized that he had found the spot that made you weak at your knees as he felt you grab onto his bicep in order to stabilize yourself, your legs becoming slightly shaky as he continued to pound his fingers into you. ‘’Don’t tell me you’re going to cum already?’’ He whispered into your ear, your moans almost deafening his whisper.
You, however, were too lost in the pleasure to even realize he had said something. The only thing you could focus on was the way a familiar feeling filled your stomach, your legs starting to fail you as you felt your orgasm slowly approach you. You were too lost in the pleasure to even notice the way he had leaned over you, his fingers still pumping in and out of you.
Almost like you had forgotten who the person in front of you was, you were painfully reminded as he suddenly flipped the light switch; the bright light causing you to squint your eyes. With a grin on his face and your lips slightly parted, you only stared at him in utter shock as the realization hit you.
You had just let Lee Heeseung finger you in his very own bathroom.
A whimper left your lips as his movements stopped, his fingers slipping out of you. The knot in your stomach came undone, but not in the way you had hoped for; no, he simply just didn’t let you cum. You just stared at him, your eyes wide from the realization. Not only had you actually let him finger you, but he also left you hanging by not letting you cum.
The two of you just stared at each other, a taunting grin still plastered on his face as your heavy pants filled the room, your eyes still wide. You could tell he was holding back a laugh as he scanned your fucked out expression, a proud smirk replacing the grin on his lips as he leaned closer to you once again.
Brushing your hair behind your ear, he placed his hand on the side of your neck; breathing down your neck. ‘’What a shame,’’ He whispered into your ear. ‘’I guess I don’t know how to make girls cum after all.’’
If you weren’t speechless before, you most definitely were now. You were too deep into your own thoughts, your shaky hands trailing up your face; covering your mouth as the fact that you had just let Lee Heeseung finger you settled in to even notice the boy washing his hands beside you.
It wasn’t until he cleared his throat you looked over at him. He just smiled at you, scanning your body; slightly shaking his head while clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth. ‘’I’m gonna go back downstairs now,’’ He let out, placing his hand on the door handle. ‘’You should probably make yourself look at least presentable before going back down there.’’
You stared at him as his eyes darted down to your skirt, your eyes following his. Your lips parted as you realized your skirt was still pulled up by your waist, revealing your now drenched and side-looped underwear. You quickly pulled your skirt down as Heeseung opened the door, a laugh leaving his lips as he watched you straighten your skirt back down using your hands.
You were still fixing your skirt as he stepped out of the door, his head suddenly peeking back from behind the door. ‘’And Y/N?’’ His words caused you to snap your head towards him, not daring to say a single word; feeling both embarrassment and resentment towards the boy standing in front of you.
And with the very same shit-eating grin he always wore on his lips, he took one last look at you.
‘’That was just for spying on me earlier this week.’’
You were done for, something telling you this was only the beginning of Heeseungs revenge. Not only were you done for, you were fucked.

Your clammy hands were gripping the steering wheel to the point where your dashboard lights illuminated the whites of your knuckles. As you made your way up the windy roads to the lookout point, void of any streetlamps and relying on your high beams on blast, you were silently thankful for the lack of cars trailing behind you or driving toward you in the opposite direction.
Had you done your research beforehand instead of simply plugging the address into your phone, perhaps you wouldn’t have embarked on this hour-long journey to go stargazing with your colleagues. You suggested carpooling to no avail, having to face your absurd fear of driving not only at night but also on sketchy, unfamiliar roads.
A slight crane of your neck to the right brought you a view of the city’s skyline in the distance, a hazy glow amidst a sea of black, and you wished you could teleport back to the comfort of the bright, bustling city. The mere thought of having to drive back down this same path later had you letting out a deep groan.
A sudden interjection of your phone’s navigation app announcing that you were arriving at your destination in 100 feet caused you to whip your head back in focus, scanning the parking lot as you approached the top of the mountain.
Your car was the only one in the vicinity, save for a camper van with none of its lights on, looking particularly worn-down and deserted. You parked in a random empty spot, unplugging your phone from its charging port before stepping out into the brisk air. Spotting a bench near the lookout point, you took long strides up across the parking lot and up the hill, plopping down to sit and fishing your phone out of your pocket to check your notifications.
You were surprised to find an empty home screen, expecting a “sorry, we’ll be a few minutes late” in your group chat seeing as it was over ten minutes past the time you were meant to arrive. You dialed the number of the coworker who invited you and you heard her voice come onto the line after three long rings.
“Hey! What’s up?” she was nearly screaming over sounds of at least a dozen other people talking.
“What’s your ETA?” you were muttering, already having a bad feeling of what she was about to say.
“H-huh? Oh, it’s supposed to rain tonight, so we canceled! Sorry, I thought we told y–” you were tearing the phone away from the side of your face and hanging up before she could finish her sentence.
A miserable chuckle escaped your mouth as you took note of the thick clouds hanging over the sky and brought your feet up on the bench, hugging your knees and resting your back against the wood. You weren’t sure why you expected anything else.
You thought perhaps moving across the country to a big city would put an end to the dread of a thousand tomorrows, none of them promising any semblance of change, but the truth was you never felt more alone than when you were standing in the midst of a busy crowd surrounded by towering skyscrapers and blinding lights—a single drop in the ocean.
There was no way to describe it other than a vice on your heart, squeezing with just enough pressure to be a constant, dull ache. A black hole that threatened to swallow every part of you until all that was left was a human shaped shell, too numb to feel the pain anymore.
There were nights you unwillingly let it control you, and all you could do in those long hours was find an enclosed place to shake until the tears subsided. The vast, open darkness in front of you made you wonder just how many people were out there feeling the same way you did.
Some old acquaintances had promised to stay in touch, yet what you heard from them was comparable to radio silence, their smiles and efforts merely pixelated and small yellow faces that stopped coming whenever your world fell apart—which was often.
Trudging to get past each day made you realize just how much of your world had revolved around one person—one last connection with a life that used to be. You couldn’t tell her when your local tea shop came out with her favorite lychee drink, when you listened to a song that reminded you of her, how you saw someone on the subway reading a book she had recommended you, or how you overheard a couple arguing over the proper way to load a dishwasher, the very thing you had repeatedly bickered about as college roommates.
And now that she was no longer in this life, you were constantly questioning your purpose, even occasionally wondering if you were meant to be alone. Was this what the universe had planned for you? You weren’t sure you believed in multiple soulmates, so what happened when yours left you?
If you miss me, just look at the stars. She would always sign the text with a ‘;)’ at the end and you would mock her with a scoff, replying with or I could just call you, dumbass.
Without realizing, you were already bringing up your history of text messages with her, scrolling through the endless one-sided green texts, each decorated with a delivery error message. Your fingers were hovering over the keyboard while the pulsing blue line stared back at you.
“Where are you?” you were wailing out, wincing subsequently at the unexpected echo and crack in your voice. The thundering in the distance seemed to answer you, but you wished the stars were out so that you’d at least know she was watching over you. You couldn’t help but feel that the cloudy skies meant she couldn’t see you, or worse, look out for you. A droplet landed on your cheek and your eyelids fluttered shut at the feeling. You weren’t sure if they were your tears or hers.

It was the end of the week and you somehow found yourself making your way up the mountainous roads again, remembering coming home last time with extraordinary peace of mind despite the frazzled state you arrived in. You weren’t sure what it was, but it was pushing you to get out of the city once again.
The air was noticeably cooler than it had been last week, and you were scanning your backseat for any signs of a sweater, sighing inwardly when you found none. It was warm when you left your office earlier in the evening and you mentally cursed at yourself for not checking the weather yet again.
You contemplated staying in the car with the heat on, but a glimpse of your glowing fuel light had you rolling your eyes in disappointment for being so forgetful and inattentive on top of the countless other flaws you felt you carried.
You were making your way toward the empty bench again, spotting the camper van in the same parking spot. You assumed it hadn’t moved since the last time you were here, most likely having been abandoned. There were considerably fewer clouds in the sky today and you beamed at the view of the small specks of white splattered against the darkness.
“Give me a sign that it’ll all be okay, please,” you spoke while eyeing the stars above you, some brighter than others. Your hair flew in the wind, draping across your face as goosebumps formed on your arms as you prepared to let the rest of your thoughts out. You didn’t remember closing your eyes, but the sound of footsteps approaching had you instinctively opening them and straightening your back and you suddenly felt a weight on your shoulders, gasping to find someone draping their flannel jacket over you.
“Sorry if I scared you,” he spoke against the wind. “You seemed cold.” A boy, now in a plain black shirt, was making his way around the other side of the bench to sit down next to you. He left considerable space between the two of you, which you were silently thankful for.
You spun around to see where he had parked, not having noticed another car arrive and when you saw nothing but your own car and the camper van, you felt a chill run down your spine. Alarm bells should’ve been going off in your head, but you were seemingly more concerned with the fact that he had most likely seen you in your most vulnerable state, crying out into the open void like a lunatic, not only once, but twice now.
When he felt you staring, he turned his head only to briefly make eye contact with you before glancing back down at his lap. His skin was a pretty shade of olive, the tip of his nose illuminated by the hazy moonlight. You took in the rest of his appearance—worn sneakers with one of the laces untied, ripped jeans, and shaggy hair that covered his eyes, and you found yourself resisting the urge to run your fingers through his locks.
“Why do you keep coming here?” he was asking, picking his head up once more to look at you.
You weren’t so sure yourself. Maybe it was the fact that this was the only place where you didn’t have to pretend. You didn’t know if you wanted to talk to her, to yourself, or to the universe in general; you didn’t know if you wanted to scream or cry or sit in complete silence. All you knew was that after a particularly bad day at work, you were taking the exit off the highway without thinking, almost as if you had taken this same exit a hundred times before.
“I could ask you the same,” you chuckled. There was an awkward pause, and you were realizing that he wasn’t going to answer you.
“I’m here to u-uh, stargaze.” You were telling the truth, at least partially.
“Stargazing’s not the best here, with the light pollution and all,” he replied. You hummed, unsure how to respond. He noticed your hesitation and was rubbing his palms against the black denim of his jeans before clearing his throat.
“‘m Heeseung, by the way.” At first, Heeseung found himself slightly annoyed at the fact that you had disrupted his peace and not-so-secret hideout spot, observing you from his van while you mumbled to yourself on the bench.
“I travel in my van, but ‘m running low on money.” He was rubbing the back of his neck, slightly embarrassed to admit the fact. “The parking here’s free, so…” he trailed off, regretting it immediately after stating the obvious.
As he got a better look at your face up close, he saw that a small frown seemed semi-permanently etched on your face, which he could tell you were hopelessly attempting to correct as he studied you. A wave of guilt washed over him upon registration of his untimely intrusion, realizing that you would probably prefer to be alone right now due to the blatant evidence that you were pretending to look less dejected in front of him.
You were briefly introducing yourself as someone new to the city, not knowing what else was interesting about you and accidentally slipping in the fact that you ‘didn’t really have any friends’, teeth chattering slightly even with his jacket resting over your frame.
“Did you want to sit in my van instead?” Your frown was faltering when your lips parted in surprise at his request. He contemplated adding a lighthearted comment about not being a serial killer to reassure you, but you were already trailing behind him as he stood up. You could tell he was tall when his legs were stretched out next to yours while sat next on the bench, but he was even taller than you’d imagined when he was standing up, even with a slight hunch in his posture.
Heeseung peered over his shoulder to catch you struggling to keep up with his longer strides, still clutching onto the collar of his jacket over your right shoulder and he let a soft smile adorn his face as he slowed his pace to match yours. He was rounding the front of his van to open the passenger side door for you but you were already cutting in front of him, hopping up on the door sill clumsily.
You let yourself into the passenger side, holding the jacket out to Heeseung who was still staring at you through the driver side window. He opened the door and pulled himself into the seat, reluctantly taking the jacket from you and tossing it on some unknown surface of the van behind him.
He turned on the ceiling light of his van and began blasting the heat after noticing that you were sitting on the backs of your hands. His fingers were fiddling with the knobs on the CD player to turn on soft, lullaby-like piano music and you made a poor attempt at stifling a laugh. For some reason, you expected him to be into rock music and found the unexpected contrast endearing.
Heeseung shot you a confused look at the sound and you simply shook your head and waved it off, a small smile still playing on your lips. You couldn’t put your finger on what it was, but you felt a strange sense of comfort in his presence.
For the first time that night, you were taking a closer look at his features. Underneath his bangs were eyes that carried both fervor and innocence and lips that were held in a constant, soft pout. He was chewing on his bottom lip, eyes darting around the space in front of him at the feeling of you staring at him so intently. He shook his head so that his bangs were falling over his eyes again in one swift movement before thinking of something to say to take your attention off his face.
“I dropped out of college when I was 18,” he was muttering, trying to gauge your reaction from his peripheral view before continuing. “And then I ran away from home to travel.” He was leaving out key details like the fact that he didn’t necessarily run away from home with the goal of traveling but instead began traveling because he simply had nowhere else to go.
When he came home after his first semester with an official diagnosis from his university’s health center, his family refused to let him seek therapy or any other form of help. With a father who was never home and a mother who went as far as threatening to disown him if he didn’t return to school the following semester, Heeseung wasn’t left with much of a choice.
You were surprised that he was even sharing this much with you. Your heart tightened at the thought of him being alone in the world at such a young age and his lack of a support system, seemingly more alone than you were. He was considerably better than you at concealing his loneliness and you hated that fact, not because you wanted to be better at it but because you knew just how much effort it took.
Heeseung could barely remember what it was like to have his father around, the only seemingly harmonious moments spent with him before he started grade school fleeting and long forgotten. The bulk of his adolescence was spent resenting his father for the way he treated his mother, where his father would appear through the front door every few months or so in one of his drunken episodes, an empty bottle of liquor already in hand.
He almost always knew when it was happening, the rummaging through the cabinets and refrigerator for alcohol reverberating through the house and to his room. He couldn’t understand why his mother wouldn’t stop restocking the house with it or why she wouldn’t change the locks or take his father’s keys or even file for a divorce, and he couldn’t help but despise her weakness and inability to stop pitying her husband.
“Look who decided to finally show up for his mother,” the older man seethed, breath reeking from the drunken stench.
A particularly loud argument had Heeseung flying down the stairs, the sound of a glass bottle breaking causing his mother to let a scream out of her mouth. He took in his father’s appearance, unshaven and eyes bloodshot with a lazy smirk playing on his lips. A look off to the side at his mother with tears streaming down her cheeks was suddenly leading to punches being thrown and knuckles growing bloodied. A harsh shove from his father caused him to lose his balance and tumble onto the wooden floor.
“Maybe ask yourself why you’re defending a fucking cheater instead,” his voice boomed through the living room. A puzzled expression took over Heeseung’s face as he turned toward his mother who winced both at the sound of her husband slamming the door as he left and the way her son ran his tongue over his busted lip, eyes beginning to gloss over.
After finally grasping the fact that his mother was not the person she made herself out to be and what pushed his father over the edge over ten years ago, Heeseung, who had always stuck close to her growing up, attempting to make up for the lack of his father’s presence, began growing increasingly distant from her as he finished his final years of high school. The very thing he swore he wouldn’t touch in his life was the only thing he took with him and stashed in his van the night he left.
He was wrapping his hand around the nearly empty beer can in his cup holder from the thought of his childhood memories and shooting a pained expression your way at the paled look on your face, eyes pooling with concern and he tried to perceive it as anything but pity.
“I honestly don’t mind it much,” he was saying, but an unfamiliar look was flashing across his eyes and even though you barely knew him, you felt like you could see right through him.
He was redirecting his gaze out the windshield. He had used the North Star almost as a source of direction in his travels for the past few years, as cliche as it sounded. Tonight was the first night it was visible in the two weeks he had been parked here, deciding to camp out in the deserted park until it reappeared and he had saved enough money from his part-time job in the city.
The North Star appeared noticeably brighter tonight, a beacon in the middle of the night shrouded in shadows and Heeseung was suddenly wondering whether it was a coincidence that you were here with him at this very moment, whether you were the very person who hung the North Star for him in the night sky, guiding him toward a purposeful destination, or whether you were the destination itself. He was shaking his head at the intrusive thought as you followed his line of sight.
The heat blowing throughout the van was fogging up the windows and blocking up your view of what he seemed to be focusing his gaze on. Heeseung watched as you turned in your seat, moving your body to face the passenger window with one leg folded up on the cushion. You were bringing your fingers up to touch the glass, slowly drawing a heart with your index finger and peering through the clear traces at the sky.
Heeseung, nowhere near intoxicated from his built up tolerance over the years, took one last sip of his drink, still not taking his eyes away from your side profile and subtle movements as you immersed yourself in your own world for the second time that night. He was turning to his own window to mirror your actions, outlining a much sloppier heart on the glass. By the time he finished and spun around to face you, you were already watching him with a beam, the apples of your cheeks rosy.
You were suddenly bursting into laughter, your brain on autopilot as you leaned over the center console to fix his drawing. You were practically pushed up against him with your hand resting on his thigh as you drew over his sketch on the window, adding a dozen more hearts around the first and filling up the rest of the fogged glass with your doodles. Heeseung was noticeably stiffening under you, attempting to distract himself from his quickening heart rate by picking at the fraying of his jeans on the leg you weren’t perched on.
You leaned back to admire your silly artwork for a few seconds before glancing over at him and noticing Heeseung’s eyelashes fluttering delicately, still reeling from the sudden physical contact. Upon noticing the close proximity, you were removing your hand from his lap and bringing it back into your own, leaning into the seat again and you could feel the heat evident on your face, knowing it must’ve been even more apparent to him. He was no better at concealing his own expressions as his sheepish smile faltered, feeling abnormally disappointed in the sudden loss of contact.
Still in a daze, Heeseung was reaching behind him to grab a can of beer, holding it out in front of you while his eyes were trained on the single heart drawn on the passenger side window. He held back a grimace as he realized that he’d done so without thinking, hoping you hadn’t caught on to his dependency. You accepted his offer without hesitation, wiping the rim of the opening with the bottom of your shirt and popping open the tab, taking gulps at a much faster speed than you were normally used to.
Your head was still spinning with the thought and feeling of the burn of your fingertips against his thigh. You both drifted into a comfortable silence, the music no longer playing since the CD player in his rundown van didn’t have the ability to auto loop tracks or albums and the hammering of his heart against his chest seemed almost too loud for you not to notice. Heeseung thought about taking out the disk and replacing it but decided against it, not wanting to disrupt the stillness of the air around you.
Your lips formed a small frown as you saw clouds beginning to shape. You thought it was the alcohol deceiving you, but you blinked a few times and the clouds were still there.
“I hate the rain because it means I can’t see her. It makes me think that she’s crying,” you suddenly whispered, breaking the silence. You could feel his gaze fall to you as he fell out of his trance, but he didn’t ask who, just simply nodded.
His reaction made you freeze in your spot, realizing you had most definitely overshared beyond an imaginary boundary. You almost wanted to apologize for it before you were saying the next thing that came to your mind.
“Have you ever fallen in love?” you were abruptly blurting out.
He was quirking his brow in amusement. “Come on, I can barely fall asleep,” he laughed softly but not without a somewhat pained expression behind his eyes. You had assumed it was a joke, but the sincerity in the way he observed you told you it wasn’t. Your eyes widened before you were nodding softly and returning a weak smile, taken aback by his confession.
“Don’t worry about it,” he was brushing it off. “You?”
You were staring out the windshield again for a few moments, lost in your thoughts before responding, “A lot of unrequited love, if that counts.”
You began to explain how you had never been in a relationship, not because you didn’t want to, but because it was seemingly out of your control. You presumed that the time you spent on this earth loving romantically without any reciprocation had somehow altered your brain chemistry to truly believe that you were meant to be alone from the very beginning, and you were often wondering which would hurt more, to have had true love and lost it or to never have had it at all. Dwelling over the fact that you had already experienced some form of both made your situation seem all the more ridiculous.
It didn’t go unnoticed by him the way you were flighty in your thoughts, jumping to one without finishing the other. As a result of the accumulation of thoughts you created when you were alone, all the things you would talk to yourself about came spilling out.
Your mind went on talking even when you were alone. And when you ran out of storage, the thoughts needed to come out somehow. Partly due to your insecurities you hoped that by talking more, you’d be accepted and loved by someone—it hadn’t proved itself to be a successful method in the past and you weren’t sure it ever would be.
“I give, and give, and give. That’s all I do,” you continued, your voice now uneven and trembling slightly. “I give until I have nothing left. I’m terrified of the love I have because I know it will ruin me—it already has, and I know I will continue to let it.”
You were heaving out a sigh of relief at the massive weight being lifted off your chest, still feeling a sort of emptiness but a strangely pleasant lightness associated with it. Even then, you were perplexed by your own eagerness to share your entire life story to someone you met just hours ago, partially blaming the alcohol for how unfiltered you became and you couldn’t tell what Heeseung was thinking from the stoic look on his face and his big doe eyes blinking back at you.
It most definitely wasn’t a feeling of pity, that he knew. It felt almost like a weakness in the heart—like his heart wasn’t working properly—a fleeting lightness that passed through him, being simultaneously lulled to sleep by a single gesture and set on fire by your every touch.
Your eyes were glossed over, from your lengthy outpour or intoxicated state Heeseung wasn’t certain, but he held not a single ounce of doubt of the amount of love you held. Unsure of what came over him, he was resisting the urge to lean over and cup the sides of your face and tell you that even in his broken, wretched state, he was willing to accept anything you had to give and return everything and more.
“It’s really late. I can drive you home,” he was offering. He convinced you he was sobering up with a lazy smile plastered on his face, yet you couldn’t help raising your brows at the slight flush of his cheeks and numerous empty beer cans in the cup holder.
“I think I’d rather stay here,” you were speaking nonchalantly before turning to look at him with what Heeseung thought he saw were literal stars in your otherwise cloudy eyes. At the implication of your words, he could feel and hear his heart beating at a pace so fast it rang through his ears. As much of an open book as you were, he didn’t expect that from you and you even stunned yourself as the words left you, mouth now agape as you stared back at him.
You wanted to blame your lack of sobriety yet again but you knew that the flood of emotions had put your mind in a remarkable state of clarity. His calmness—how he listened and watched attentively without any questions, just simply looking at you with a fondness in his eyes—fastened you with a sense of immense trust in him.
Thankfully, he was quickly nodding and turning around to turn on the lights that lit up the rest of his van. In contrast to his somewhat rugged appearance, his space was neat and cozy and it amazed you how few belongings he had; everything fit in his van and there was almost no clutter. The only hint of personality and life you could find was the guitar hanging over the bed, and you were smiling to yourself knowing he at least had music to accompany him.
Heeseung had suggested cooking some ramen for you, but you simply shook your head with a sleepy smile and told him you weren’t hungry. He didn’t say anything as he clambered on top of his sheets and patted the spot next to him. There wasn’t much space in the van for anything other than a bed and a small stovetop and you were skeptical there would be enough room for you to both lay comfortably.
You fit yourself on the mattress between him and the back door while he crawled under the covers, pushing his pillow toward you behind your back and grabbing an extra one from beneath the bed for himself. You were still sat leaning against the side of the van as you contemplated your next move, wondering whether you should prioritize comfort or decency and you squirmed at the thought of your dirty jeans on someone else’s sheets.
A brief glance at Heeseung, who was lying on his back with his eyes closed and hands resting over his stomach, had you quickly tucking yourself under the blankets and unzipping your jeans, pulling them down and kicking them over your ankles. You were shuffling downward and placing the now folded jeans beside your pillow, facing away from Heeseung as you pulled the covers up to your chest.
You couldn’t tell but Heeseung had visibly stiffened, eyebrows now slightly furrowed in concentration as he attempted to fall asleep, willing himself to think about anything other than you and your presence inches away from him. He was staring at the ceiling, breath uneven at how you were so similar in the way you craved connection yet different in the sources of your troubles and the way you coped—one capable of giving anything and one who didn’t know how to give at all.
You felt the bed dip and you could hear Heeseung shuffling around behind you, his heavy breathing against your neck telling you he was now facing you, and still lying on your side when you felt his fingers graze across your hip bone.
The heat radiating off his body behind you was seeping into your own skin, slowly building into a burn before you were flipping yourself over to face him and immediately thrown off by just how close he was. A slight lean forward from either of you would close the gap, and your eyes were unconsciously flickering down to his lips at the thought.
You were pulling yourself flush against him, savoring the feeling of your bodies pressed so closely together, resting your head in the crook of his neck and he let out a sharp gasp from above you. You could feel his heart beating underneath your palms as you moved your hands across the expanse of his chest. A slight crane of your neck and you were tentatively placing your lips against his jaw, a shaky breath of Heeseung’s fanning your face from the action.
As your kisses moved from his jaw down to his neck, his mouth was parting softly, lifting his head into the pillow to provide you with more access. One particularly harsh suck against his collarbone had him surging forward for more, latching onto the hem of your shirt and fingers hesitantly grazing the waistband of your underwear.
Heeseung was then leaning forward onto his elbows, the hand that was previously slotted between your bodies wrapping around your shoulder to pull you up and level to him, bringing you into a gentle kiss that caused the hairs on your arms to raise.
It overwhelmed you how thrilling yet calming it felt to be kissing him. You were completely drinking him in, the touch of his skin against yours heating up the pits of your stomach and causing shivers to wrack through you and simultaneously taking your mind off of everything else.
He was gentle with his touch, but his lips were rough and chapped and he was kissing you with so much longing and desperation that for a second, you contemplated whether this was his first time kissing someone, craving any and every bit of physical contact. You quickly dismissed the thought as he took advantage of your inattentiveness with a swipe of his tongue against your bottom lip, your lips parting slightly, allowing him to slip his tongue into your mouth skillfully.
Your stomach churned and you were writhing under his touch from the way your tongues intertwined, a pit of heat rising in your lower stomach. Heeseung was letting out a choked whimper at the feeling of your hands reaching underneath his shirt, smoothing over the skin of his stomach.
“You okay?” you were whispering as you pulled back, hands coming up to cup his cheeks. He held your gaze for a few seconds, both delicacy and sharpness etched in his features, before his lashes fluttered and he was shaking his head, burying it in your neck. Your hands were sliding along his scalp to soothingly stroke his hair, heart aching at the vulnerability and rawness with which he looked at you.
It wasn’t clear whether the cause of his feverish state was from the simple presence of you in his arms, but something told you that you should’ve seen it coming when the way he looked at you gradually began changing as the hours progressed.
You were pulling back and placing one last, soft kiss against his lips, lingering for a few moments too long before wrapping your arms around his torso in a tight embrace and rubbing his back gingerly.
Heeseung was redirecting his attention out at the sky through the back window, foolishly looking for you and him in the stars. Some stars gradually dim and lose their luster, and on a rainy night, you might never see them again.
You weren’t thinking about what would happen when the stars faded and the sun rose, or when you would see him again—you didn’t need to see him or be physically near him to feel him. Your subconscious was finding comfort simply from the feeling of his chest pressed against yours, your thumb rubbing circles over his shirt while you listened to Heeseung's soft breathing and the sound of the rain beginning to fall against the windows.

A/N: the bolded quote is based on something I saw on twitter: “I’m scared of the love I have for you. Because I know it will ruin me. And I also know that I will let it. I love hard.” but I couldn’t find the source, so credits to the original owner.

you did not expect your night to turn into this.
you were at the club, with your friends. drinking your feelings away, your friends letting you rant out to them about how frustrating heeseung was lately.
heeseung is your best friend. who you just sometimes happen to kiss and make out with, leading to some awesome sex that raises your dopamine levels to the brim.
after you gave a suck the night before, his mood completely changed. He didn't even give you pleasure, just simply dressing himself before leaving your apartment. You call and text him multiple time just to be left on voicemail and delivered.
Now, you're high on your ass. Desperately needing some kind of relief. Your fingers weren't enough, all you can think abt was heeseung and his ways that make you clench mercilessly.
You drunkenly slurred to your friends saying you needed a stronger drink and before they could've stopped your, your were already on your way to the bar counter.
"The most strongest drink that you have, and I want it fast." You hiss, vision a little blurry, feeling a little light on your feet.
When your receive your drink, you smile and a deep and husky voice states behind you, "her drink's on me."
"Oh why th- thank you!" You cheer, and he looks at you up and down before biting his lower lip, hand placing dangerously closer to your ass. You try to wiggle out of his grip but he was much stronger. You whimper when he squeezes the flesh and suddenly his face is too close to yours. You ask him to let you go but he simply chuckles, "I can't do that babygirl. I'm going to take you to my house and-"
His words get cut with his screams. His wrist that was touching your waist was now slammed onto the counter table with a vieny hand all too familiar to you. You look at it's owner, heeseung, whose eyes somehow show the emotion red.
"If I see you near my girl one more time, then you're dead. Got it?" He taunts, the sketchy man who touched nodded fervently wanting to get away as soon as possible. Heeseung throws him onto the floor and looks at you, "are you okay?"
You don't even get the chance to answer because he grabs your wrist, pulling you and taking to the club's parking lot. You get near his car and that's when you realise to stay mad at him but still that doesn't stop you from showing gratitude.
"Thank you for saving me Heeseung." You couldn't look at his face, eyes darting everywhere around the scene except his face.
"What were you thinking? What if something to you if I hadn't been there?" He accuses in a grumpy voice, he looks pissed off, and you can't help but feel angry for thinking he can get his way after how bad he hurt you.
"Why the fuck do you care?" Your words has him taken aback, eyes looking straight into yours. "How can you just pretend like you didn't hurt me that night. I get we are not a real deal. but, when you walked away making me think that you don't even care about me, hurt." Tears are forming in the inner corner of your eyes as you look at him.
He takes a step closer to you and you take one back, unexpectedly getting trapped between him and the car. His face comes dangerously close to yours and your breathing quickens. "I'm sorry for hurting you, angel. I wasn't intending to."
You can't make out any words after that because heeseung latches his lips onto the expanse of your neck. You softly gasp at the contact, your neck instinctively stretching to give him more area to throw kisses on.
"Heeseung wha- what are you doing?" You clutch at his shoulders as he begins to devour your neck. His lips kiss and suck and lick at every possible place that you leaves you feeling divine. His hand has a grip on your hip while his other one trails downward slowly from your face to where you need him the most.
"Trying to make things right babygirl." He rasps as he pulls away to watch your face, when he sees that you aren't doing or saying anything to oppose, he continues to make you feel good. So good.
"ohmygod hee!" your fingers get tangled at his locks. His right hand seeps past the hem of your underwear through under your skirt. His left holding onto the car for support so he doesn't press onto you too much. He silently smirks to himself how you probably would've worn a skirt for easy access for him and only him. And maybe, that's actually true.
His fingers immediately find your bundle of nerve as if it's his second nature and starts rubbing circles. The littlest movement of his hand, the way he is littering love bites all over your chest that's exposed through your tight top sends you in a frenzy.
He slowly and gently pushes his middle finger inside you, "fuck, love. You're so wet. all for me yeah?" he smirks as he looks into your eyes that are currently in a haze with the ecstasy you are feeling right now.
"mhmm all for you hee. ." you manage to let out along with a few strings of moans when he fastens the speed. you clutch at his shoulders and he starts growing hungry for more. He pushes your top all the way up to your collarbones and litters more love struck kisses all over your pretty boobs.
He can never get enough of your boobs.
the high of your pleasure heightens as your loud sighs and moans fill the air surrounding you both, the cool breeze making more goosebumps arise. "mmm fuck daddy!"
your eyes go wide just like his, his hand had stopped its movement momentarily before his shocked expression morphs back into one filled with lust.
that was the first you ever called him that.
and he thinks he just came in his pants.
something clicks in him. he acquires this overwhelming urge to just take power over you. to dominate you.
he pins you hands behind your back before his fingers are back inside you, teasing. his other hands holding you back against the car.
"call me that again babygirl. call me that every single time we fuck. understood?" the look in his eyes lowkey terrifies you. but, you love it.
you nods gently at him with a smile and he unexpectedly moves his digits inside you at a faster and harder manner. he wants you to come so hard you'll be screaming 'daddy' at the top of your lungs.
soon the knot in your stomach releases and your walls spasm against his fingers as he stops. he brings his fingers into his mouth and licks it clean, while maintaining eye contact, making you wet all over again.
"fuck daddy! that was so good." you bite your lip.
he gently pulls you aside not before giving you a fat wet kiss on your mouth in which you taste yourself, he open the passenger car door to you, hand out to gesture you get in.
before you can get in, he pulls you towards him, his lips nearing your pierced ear, and whispers in a cocky tone. "you're in for a long ride with your daddy babygirl."

Heeseung caressed his knuckles against the length of your hollowed cheeks with a gentleness that contrasted his thrusts. Tears burned your eyes, the back of your throat sore from his abuse. The sound of wet slick and choking gasps almost rivaled your heartbeat as you stared up at the man.
He was almost fully dressed—a simple black blazer thrown on over a red silk top, ironed black slacks that fell to his perfectly shined shoes. His hair was styled up neatly, showing you the expanse of his forehead glistening with sweat.
A hand reached to cup the back of your head, keeping you in place as he fucked into your wet cavern relentlessly.
“Fuck,” he breathed out in a whine, head thrown back against the leather seats as he groaned loudly. “Fuck, fuck, baby, you’re taking me so fucking well.” His lips parted, ruby red lipstick smudged over his visage, staining the silver lip ring. Heeseung’s jaw dropped as you swallowed around his cock, a series of long, winded whines coming from the back of his throat.
“Shit, princess. Gonna make me cum,” he warned you, dropping his head down to look at you through hooded eyes. His newly dyed black hair fell over his irises, obscuring them from view. His face pinched in pleasure as he lifted his hips against your plush lips. “You’ll take it for me, yeah? Swallow every last drop like the good little whore you are.” His nails dug into your scalp.
You pressed your thighs together, the carpet floor of the backseat rubbing harshly against your bare knees. The dress you’d worn, a little black number that you picked out just for Heeseung, had ridden up to your waist. The fabric bunched prettily around your hips, showing off that you had forgone undergarments.
He watched you breathlessly, eyes darting from your teary eyes to the way your little mouth took him so well. He didn't miss the way you tried to covertly rub yourself, thighs moving slowly—a futile attempt to feel something against your aching clit.
His cock twitched against your tongue as you licked at a jutting vein, a perfectly manicured hand coming up to cup his aching balls. He watched tenderly as you switched from suckling on his angry red tip to taking his length fully, your nose tickling against his happy trail. His thrusts grew wild, a loss in rhythm suggesting he was close.
“Gonna paint your mouth white, baby,” he hissed, tugging at your matted strands. “God, you look so pretty covered in my cum. Wanna make a mess out of you so bad.”
You whined, your muffled tone vibrating against his dick. He cried out your name, low moans tumbling from his pretty lips as he came, shooting hot and thick ropes of cum down your throat. You blinked away tears, a burning sensation left behind as he pulled his length out from your mouth. Spurts of cum spilled from his tip and you lolled your tongue out as Heeseung dragged it over your face.
His chest heaved as he stared at you, adoringly as though he was admiring his art. “Fucking hell,” he hushed, tugging you impatiently onto his lap. You fell clumsily against him, legs bumbling to straddle his small waist. You moaned in unison when your dripping core rubbed against his cum and saliva coated cock, your hips twitching in anticipation.
Heeseung sighed out your name against your lips as he cupped your cheek with a large hand. The coolness of his rings made you shiver as he pulled you in for a kiss. His mouth moved against yours slowly, his tongue flicking out against your lip. His kiss was hot and wet, his tongue caressing yours in a way that made you crumble atop his lap.

“You done with those little boys now?” You flinched as hot breath blew onto your neck, a pair of familiar hands wrapping around your waist as he pushed his hips into yours.
You rolled your eyes with a scoff, biting your tongue as you removed the hands from around you in a haste manner.
You turned your body around, briefly whipping the taller man with your updo. You looked up at him with dark eyes, eyelashes framing your eyes in a way that made his knees weak.
“What park about no contact do you not understand?” You hissed at your ex-boyfriend, glare unresisting as he maintained your eye contact. His eyebrow rose at your stare, making a show of looking down your body, pausing at your chest before he connected your eyes again.
“I love it when you’re mean to me” A loud sound akin to the one a cat makes hissing left your mouth, top lip curling up as you look at him with disgust. “Makes my body feel so good” He purred, leaning his head down to your height as a coy smile played on his lips. Your gaze trailed down, watching the way his lips quirked at your gaze. “Promise they’ve only ever touched you” Your eyes snapped up as your face burned with embarrassment, “I don’t care” you lightly hit against his shoulder as you passed him.
Heeseung watched over his shoulder as you opened the door briefly pausing as you adjusted your outfit. He chucked to himself as his eyes trailed down your body, pausing at a specific spot on your lower back. A groan almost made its way through his lips, the memories playing through his mind the longer his gaze lingered.
As if he had x-ray vision, he could see everything beneath your shirt. The bruises that he left on your hips, purple with the marks of his procession. He could see your tattoo, the thorns wrapping around the dragon in swirls of spikes.
Most of all, he could see the way it looked while it rocked back against him. His head tilted back, resting against the wall as he regained his posture. He could feel the tightness of his jeans, the ghost of your hand rubbing against him as his scenarios played out.
“Fuck” Heeseung grunted out loud, fists tightening as the door slamming echoed across the room. In hindsight he knew he shouldn’t have followed you into the washroom, he really did.
But he couldn’t help it, especially not when he noticed that the men you were earlier entertaining watched as you entered, their eyes narrowed in on your swaying hips.
And so he didn’t stop the urge, he allowed his feet to follow you into the women’s washroom. He basked in the feeling of the heavy eyes watching him, he didn’t even have to look at them to feel the envy mixing in their gaze.
Was he making a claim on you, even after you both agreed to go no contact? Yes, he couldn’t let his girl go home with anyone other than him.
Losing you was the second worst thing that’s ever happened to him, first was agreeing to the no-contact bullshit you insisted on.
He agreed because he knew he’d get you back, it really was a no-brainer. Well to him at least.
You ignored the gazes on you as you made your way to an all but familiar table, filled with faces you’ve avoided since your big breakup.
Jake nodded towards you, tilting his head to the side as he observed the way your fists clenched against your side. “You alright?” A hand touched your shoulder, and the feeling of the calloused fingers almost immediately made you recognize the man attached to it. You looked to your side, eyes Jay with a look he recognized all too much.
“Tell your fucking best friend to leave me the hell alone, he’s pissing me off” Sunghoon scoffed at your words from across the table, tilting his shot back to fight the words crawling up his throat.
You looked over at the man sitting further from you, eyebrows furrowed as you glared at him. “What?” Sunghoon matched your stare with one you identified as amusement. “No” You raised your finger, closing your eyes as you shook your head.
Sunghoon heaved a laugh in response, his teasing smile broadening on his teeth. “You already knew what I was going to say, Doll.” He shrugged at you, his leather jacket hitting against the table in the process.
The air tensed as the three men looked over your shoulder, their eyes following the man walking towards you.
“Hey beautiful” a random man brushed Jay’s hand off your shoulder, replacing it with his own. The four of you cringed, Jake fake gagging as the man oogled you.
“Fuck off, she’s off limits” Jay pushed the hand off of you, grabbing a napkin from the table as he cleaned your shoulder off.
The man looked at all of them with a weird face, raising his hands as the three men all glared at him. “Woah my bad, didn’t know this pretty girl had little guard dogs” He went to turn around, freezing in place as he bumped into a large chest.
“Woah” He rebounded, his legs hitting the table as he went back a few feet. He looked up in confusion, eyes widening at the man standing above him.
Heeseung could feel his blood boiling, hot spores rising on his skin the second he saw a random man advance towards you.
“Heeseung-“ You stepped towards him, preparing to break up the fight he was about to cause. He barely looked at you as he pulled you behind him, his trembling hands grabbing onto one of your own.
Heeseung turned around, storming out of the club as he pulled you behind him. Even as he imagined all the ways he could hurt the man who touched you, his hands remained gentle with yours.
“You’re lucky she’s here, he literally would’ve smashed your head into the table for just looking at her” Jay shook his head at the terrified man, a small smile on his face as he saw the way Heeseung held the door open for you, wrapping his jacket around your shoulders the second you stepped outside.
“He’s literally insane” Jake rolled his eyes at the man standing beside them, rolling his neck to the side as he cracked it. “Nah, we all would’ve done it for her” Sounds of agreement came from the other two men beside Jake, all making a show of cracking their knuckles.
The entire way back to your apartment was spent in silence, Heeseung spent the entirety of the time staring at you with a stupid little lovesick expression. The soft look in his eyes made both your heart and pussy pulse, his gaze stirring something deep within you.
The second you entered your apartment building the doorman greeted the both of you, his eyes lighting up at the sight of the man beside you. “You’re back together?” He whispered shouted, his hand over his mouth and he giddily looked between the two of you. You only rolled your eyes at him whereas Heeseung beamed, a small smile on his lips as he shrugged his shoulders.
“Did you mean it?” Heeseung looked up from your heels dangling in his hands, his confused expression almost melting your facade. “Did you mean it when you said your lips haven’t touched anyone else?” You cleared your throat as you looked straight at the elevator doors, trying your best to act nonchalant.
“I’ve never kissed anyone except for you” You had to bite your lip to keep your smile down, opting to just nod your head as you faced away from the man beside you.
Heeseung took your question as an invitation to start a conversation with you, one that had his intentions clear from the beginning. “Um, have you kissed anyone else since we broke up?” He tried to remain casual, ultimately failing when his voice fell at the end of his question.
You merely shook your head, setting your lips in a line as you watched his reaction from the corner of your eye. “But you knew that, don’t think I didn’t know that you were watching me.”
Usually in situations like this people would opt to freeze, maybe even argue and try to defend themselves. Heeseung however, was different. He just stood there with a proud smile, nodding his head at what you were saying. “Of course, couldn't let my girl get swayed by anyone” He said it so confidently that if anyone outside of your small circle heard his words they’d be giving you whatever numbers they could pull out of their head.
You hummed at his words, eyes now looking up at the numbers displayed above the elevator door. three floors until yours. And as the next number lit up, as did your mind.
Within seconds you had Heeseung pinned, your smaller hands pressing him against the wall. “I’m a lot of things, but I'm definitely not your girl.” You whispered in his ear, lips touching the sensitive part of his neck as goosebumps rose on his arms.
You could feel Heeseung’s mid-body touch yours, small movements that wouldn’t have been noticeable if you weren’t already pressed tight against him.
“Aw, is my baby getting needy?” You mockingly cooed at him, baby-talking him as you allowed him to use your body for his pleasure. A soft sound left his mouth as he reached a certain angle, the perfect position for him to rub himself against your center.
“It’s really pathetic, the way you have to use me to get yourself off.” He whined in your ear, cheeks blushing as you continued talking down to him in his ear. “Your hand couldn’t compare to my pussy, could it?” He frantically shook his head back and forth, tears gathering in his eyes at your cruel attempts to break him.
You cooed at the sight, one hand leaving his wrist to caress his soft cheek. “That’s too bad, bad boys don’t deserve to feel good” You completely removed yourself from him, ignoring his pained gasp at his denied pleasure.
The elevator beeped right before it opened, the bright number symbolizing that you’ve reached your floor. “But I guess you could make it up to me, only if you promise to show me how those pretty lips work.” You took your heels from his hand, walking straight out the door as another, older, couple entered the elevator.
Heeseung had no time to allow the embarrassment to creep in, ignoring the horrified looks of the other couple as they saw the wet patch against his pants.
It was rare that Heeseung let you take charge, but he loved it more than anything. Your mean words always made him feel things he never knew he was even capable of feeling before he met you. He’d let you ruin him over and over, all long as he fell asleep with you in his arms.

It's been one month since heeseung blocked you.
One whole month.
It was weird not hearing from you. It felt even more weird not getting up at two in the morning to run to your place and pleasure you.
Because he had cut all ties with you, he was sleeping earlier these days, but funny enough. His body was still waking him up at 2 in the morning, the time you'd usually call for him.
He felt pathetic cause his body was betraying his willpower to move on from you. Even if he was fighting for his mind to be occupied elsewhere, his heart still ached for you.
He was currently lying in bed, his phone clutched in his hand tightly, thumb itching to unblock your number.
"Fuck” he curses out loud and shuts his phone off, trying his best to respect the deal he made with Jay and ultimately trying to get over you, but it was so damn hard.
After nearly a year of being with you, it felt impossible to forget you. It felt impossible to move on with his life and find someone who would respect and love him for who he is and not just his body.
But fuck if he had to choose between you and true love, he's definitely picking you. Yeah, it hurt to be cast aside after being used by you, but it hurt so good that he'd always go back for more and more until you finally had your way and were done with him.
"Laying in bed all day isn't going to help" Jay opens his bedroom door without even knocking.
"Yeah, I kinda figured that out after the first week." heeseung rolls his eyes and sits up against his bed frame.
"The guys and I are going out. Do you want to come?" Jay fiddles with the lock on the doorknob.
"I'll pass." heeseung runs his fingers through his messy hair, sighing deeply.
"Well, the guys were hoping you could come so…" Jay murmurs.
"I'll make it up to all of you later. I still just need some time," Jay nods in understanding.
"Take your time." Jay slowly backs out of heeseung's room and closes the door silently.
"I just need some time," Heeseung quietly repeats to convince himself that all he needs is time, but even when he says it out loud, something in the pit of his stomach just doesn't feel right.
-
You sighed as you sat down at your desk at work, completely stressed out of your mind.
You could already tell you were going to have a headache when you got home tonight cause today has been nothing but a shit day.
It's one of those days where, just a month ago, you'd already be planning to call heeseung over so he could work his magic on your body and take all your stress away.
But no, because he blocked you cause he wanted more from you, and when he saw he wasn't getting it, he knew when to walk away.
You hate how you took him for granted. He was a great guy, amazing at sex and even better at cuddling you, and he also wasn't shy about making his like for you known.
You were just a piece of shit that disregarded him as a person with feelings and only saw him for what he could give to you, which was mind-blowing sex.
If you could have a do-over, then you surely would, one where you confessed to him and realized your feelings for him a whole hell of a lot sooner.
But you let your fear of being lied to and cheated on get in the way of your true happiness.
But could you even be blamed? Every man you were with did that to you, hence why you gave up on relationships and only had sexual transactions now.
But even you have to admit that Lee heeseung wasn't like Every Man. unfortunately, it took you too long to figure that out, and now here you are, heartbroken again because you let the past ruin your future. You did your best to stop that from happening and it still wasn't enough.
At least now a great guy like him could find someone who cared about him and loved him the way he deserved instead of someone like you who hid your feelings and was only going to confess after a whole year of practically using his body.
It hurt, but you hope he's happy with someone that's his equal and not a total piece of shit like you.
Who are you kidding?
It's not that simple; you wish it was, but you were going to be feeling this pain for days, if not months. Yeah, it was selfish of you to still want him around even after you played with his feelings for years, but it couldn't be helped.
If only you could have realized that he was worth taking a chance on months ago, maybe he'd be your boyfriend, maybe you'd be living together, maybe you'd be married and planning to have a family and live happily ever after.
The thought brings tears to your eyes, so you push your fairytale ideas to the side, focusing back on work before all your co-workers notice you shedding a few tears.
-
Another week had gone by, and heeseung felt the same. He knows they say it takes three months to get over someone, but how could he stay away from you that long? It was impossible, and that's why he's sneaking out of his and Jay's shared apartment to go to your place; being away from you was killing him inside. Even if you'd only use his body for sex and kick him out, it was still better than not being able to see or touch you at all.
He arrived some odd minutes later and jogged up the stairs to your building, heart racing in his chest, and he just hoped you wouldn't turn him away. He hopes you still at least just want him for sex. That'd be enough for him. Just knowing that you wanted something from him would be enough. He knows it's pathetic. He knows he deserves better, but he wants you, and he doesn't care if that makes him a loser. All he cares about is you.
The clock had just hit 2 in the morning, and you didn't know why you were holding your phone as if you could call him still, but you were. Maybe it was muscle memory, or maybe it was the only thing holding your emotions in check.
You laughed at yourself pathetically, but deep down, a part of you felt like you deserved this pain, and with that thought, you set your phone aside as the silence crept up on you, and instead of wallowing in self pity you were just going to go to sleep and wait for tomorrow so you could feel all these emotions again just this time it'd be a new time and a new date.
The knock on your door stops you in your tracks on your way to your bedroom you shake your head in disbelief because now you were even hallucinating the familiar sound of his knock.
You continued to walk to your bedroom until you heard it again and again, and there was no way that was just a hallucination, especially when the knocks became more frequent.
Heeseung was relentless outside your door. He wasn't going to stop until you let him in. He's sure you probably saw him outside the peephole by now, and he's not sure if you still even care to answer since he was the one who blocked you but fuck it, he was here now, and he wasn't taking no for an answer he needed you, and he needed you tonight.
He heard a soft click, the same one he always heard when you unlocked the door for him. His knocks came to a halt when he saw a faint light peaking through the crack of your door, and within a second, he stepped inside and slammed the door shut behind him, closing any type of personal space you once had. "Heeseun-" he doesn't even let you speak before he's jumping your bones, hands squeezing your waist as his lips met yours in a rushed kiss.
"Sorry I blocked you," he breathes out against your lips, still holding you tightly so you can't slip through his fingers. "Sorry I stopped coming, sorry I didn't answer," you moan into the kiss, hands strongly gripping his shoulders as you try to grasp what's happening.
You were shocked to see him, but you couldn't comprehend anything before you were making out with him, and right now, nothing else mattered but your lips working in perfect sync with each others.
"It was my friend's idea" he started trailing kisses down your neck, his large veiny hands cupping your tits roughly, causing you to arch your back and press yourself closer to him. "Said I should stop seeing you." he nibbled the skin of your neck as you moaned quietly. "But I couldn't. No matter how much you use me, I still want you," he whispers in your ear, his hot breath leaving a tingle running down your spine.
"Wait," you tell him breathlessly and push his shoulders, creating some distance between the two of you.
"Can't." he steps closer, lips pressing roughly against yours until you push him back again. "Please, I'll do anything. Please, just don't kick me out," he begs in a whiny voice. "I don't care if you only want me for sex. As long as you want me, that's enough."
"Heeseu-" he leans into you, his voice wobbly as he says the words he's been wanting to say for what feels like forever.
"I love you." he presses his face against your neck, inhaling your scent as his arms naturally wrap around you.
You hear him sniffle softly, and your heart breaks because none of what he was saying was how you felt, maybe in the very beginning, but definitely not now. "Hey," you cup his cheeks, making him look up at you, his watery eyes boring into your own. "I don't just want you for sex, okay, you're so much more than that, and I can't believe I'm saying this cause I never thought I'd utter the words again but fuck heeseung, I love you too. I love you so much," you whisper, hands running along his neck soothingly.
That's it. Lee heeseung had finally broken all your walls and infiltrated your heart. You thought they were impenetrable, but it turns out all you needed was someone who actually truly cared about you and not someone who was just using you for their own satisfaction.
He looks back and forth between your eyes, obviously confused by your words, and you laugh lightly because of his cute expression. "You don't have to say that just because I di-" You shut him up with one long-awaited meaningful kiss.
He was beyond happy to hear you saying those words to him, but this couldn't be real, could it? He must still be back at his apartment, dreaming of this moment that he had dreamt of a million times.
But your next words proved otherwise. "I know it's sudden, baby, I know, but I love you," You peck his cute pouted lips. "I just couldn't bring myself to tell you how I truly felt. I've been hurt so many times in the past, and I was just scared to move on with you, but I should have seen you were different from the start. I should have never strung you along and played with your feelings. I'm so sorry for everything, and I'm just so happy you're here now, and I can tell you how much you mean to me. You're so perfect, Lee Heeseung," you told him sincerely while stroking his soft cheek with your thumb, eyes full of nothing but love. "And I would be the luckiest girl on the planet to have all your love, and if you're willing to give me another chance, I want to give that same love back to you."
He's grinning from ear to ear, elated by the three words you just confessed to him.
He expected this to go so much differently than it has, but he wouldn't want it any other way. He can't believe you loved him back, like you actually felt the same way for him as he felt about you, and that was absolutely mind-blowing. And now that he thinks about it, he needs to have more than just a few words with Jay, but that could wait till later. Right now, he's gonna enjoy this surreal moment with you, the love of his life.
"Can you say all that again? You lost me at I love you," he chuckles, squeezing you in his arms tightly.
You giggle while nodding and repeating every single thing you said, and he listens very, very intently, his eyes sparkling as he looks at you with so much love.
"So maybe you can prove it to me in your room on your bed. How does that sound?" He scrunched his face up, laughing softly as you nodded your head shyly. "Yeah?" He grins.
"Yeah, I'll prove that and so much more, my love," you whisper seductively, and he visibly goes red, causing you to bite down on your lip to hold back your smile, and you can't help but think he looks so good all shy like that.
How did you ever get so lucky for him to give you another chance?
"God, I'm so happy," he sighs dreamily, staring at you with nothing but pure love in his eyes, and you felt so full knowing that he cared about you so much and was never shy to express it.
He picks you up in his arms, carrying you to bed. "I love you." he pecks the tip of your pretty nose, laying you down gently on your bed and hovering above you. "So much," he adds while leaning down and connecting your lips with his.
"I love you more." You smile so hard your cheeks start to hurt. "And for the record, you make me happier."
"Hey!" He whines cutely. "You make me the most happy."
And who were you to argue with that? Especially when his soft pink lips were colliding so perfectly with yours.
-
It was the morning after you and heeseung were lying down in bed together, his arm around you while your head rested on his bare chest. "Morning," you whisper, looking out the window and tickling his chest with your fingertips.
"Hmm, morning lovely," he chuckles and wraps his other arm around you. "Love you," he says with his raspy morning voice.
"Love you too." You kissed his chest all over, hearing him giggle from below you.
It's funny how it had been years since you said those words to a love interest, but with him, it just came so naturally, like you had been saying it for years.
"I gotta make it up to you, hee," you pout, tracing the faint line between his pecs.
"No baby, this is enough. Just you and me here now is all that matters," he assures you, but that's not good enough. He deserves the world.
"I know, but I want to do something for you," you tell him seriously.
"You don't take no for an answer, hmm?" He smiles.
"Not this time," you say matter-of-factly.
"Tell me what you want to do for me, baby. You were already amazing last night; I don't know what more I could ask for." You blush, hearing his words and feeling little butterflies erupt in your stomach. No one has ever talked to you as sweetly as he has. "Plus, you told me your side, and I understand it's hard, but I promise you I'll treat you right love, be the man you deserve."
"Oh, hee." You looked up at him, and your eyes started to water.
"It's only what you deserve" he taps your nose, making you smile, and now you want to give this man the whole world.
"That's it get ready," you tell him and hop off the bed. You were going to take him anywhere he wanted, buy him whatever he wanted, wine, and dine him the whole nine yards. Whatever he wanted, it was his, no questions asked.
"Okay, baby, but first, come take a picture with me so I can send it to Jay." You hop back in bed and take a cute picture of you both hiding under the sheets, with only your eye smile showing he sent it. Caption it: my girlfriend and me.
"Girlfriend?" You ask him.
"Don't act surprised. You know it was coming sooner or later," he laughs.
"Boyfriend!" You cheer after a few moments of letting this set in and tackle him in the biggest hug ever.
"I like the sound of that. Say it again, baby." you both smile, looking at each other completely lovestruck.
Heartbreak comes and goes, but this love is here to stay.

You could call yourself an adventurous person. Perhaps a complete explorer of the little and big things in life. Parachuting in, changing course from medical school – done for five long semesters – and running off to study social communication and be a respected copywriter in your field.
But even with a good profession, you never stopped exploring, being encouraged, and even accompanied by your couple of best friends, Sunghoon and Kasey.
You met the girl at the university of communication. Sharing a dormitory with a stranger back then would not make you imagine that today she would be your best friend and also your best friend's girlfriend. Introducing her to Sunghoon at one of your first frat parties was easy. Kasey was super communicative, while Sunghoon was shy. The contrast made the two hit it off right away and, after years, they were still together even though university was over.
Those nostalgic thoughts left you with a smile adorning your lips as you stepped out of the shower, looking at your reflection in the mirror and grimacing when you saw yourself with wet hair.
Friday night, end of work and you left early. Almost as if she knew what was coming, Kasey texted you as soon as you entered the house and threw your bag next to the couch.
We are going out today. Light clothes and a super different place, I think you'll like it.
You always enjoyed her crazy antics, that's why you two hit it off from the first minute inside that university room. She was just as adventurous as you and this could only be a work of fate, bringing two people together as best friends to explore every crazy and interesting thing in this world.
That's why, without delay, you ripped off your clothes on the way to your bathroom and took a long shower. Washing your hair and taking a little longer with the liquid body soap just to feel a little more relaxed after work. Your night out with your friends was always a lively one, and since your chores had been heavy that Friday, only the hot water would be able to wash away – almost – everything bad before you put on a proper outfit and dried your hair.
As you rambled about your outfit after your hair was properly dried – your arms sore from trying so hard to give your strands a good attention – a sigh left your lips, before a thin scream echoed through your room. The sound of the phone startled you and quickly made you turn towards the bed.
The quick steps to grab the handset and answer it on the next ring.
"Hi, I'm listening" you smiled even though your best friend couldn't see.
"Did you dry your hair?" how Kasey could know you so well, you had no idea. Chuckling, you mumbled in agreement before she continued "Okay, fifteen minutes for an outfit. Sunghoon and I will pick you up."
She didn't even let you answer her, hanging up just as quickly as she called. Surprised at how little time you had, you ran to your closet to get something to wear. Smiling at your clothes thinking that at least you would have a ride home. Without spending on a car app and without worrying about some stranger bringing you home.
Taking one last look in the mirror after choosing your outfit, smiling satisfied at what you saw there, you left the room. Even more smiling after seeing that Kasey and Sunghoon were really punctual that day, texting you in fifteen minutes saying they were already waiting for you at the entrance of your building.
Locking your apartment and taking the elevator leisurely, you reached the first floor and waved to the old gentleman doorman who was always so smiley every day.
"Good evening, Miss y/n" he greeted you. You greeted him back, wishing the man a good night before heading out and locating your couple of friends' car.
Getting into the backseat, your hands touched Sunghoon and Kasey's shoulders respectively.
"So..." the guy who was driving gave you a sideways glance, smiling at you "Ready for tonight?"
"I don't know where you guys are taking me, but I think I'm ready" your answer made them both laugh, along with Kasey making sure you loved the place.
You couldn't deny a huge chill in your stomach, even though you knew neither of them would let you down with the surprise. Kasey was a great thinking mind, while Sunghoon executed the whole plan of the crazy outings you all had. That's how it worked. But this time, you being a mere guinea pig for the Friday night surprise made you even more excited. Because what were they up to, anyway? That they hadn't told you anything at all since you got a text a few hours ago?
Please let it be nice, you thought, clutching even tighter to the leather of your jacket and settling comfortably in the back seat of the car as Sunghoon began to drive away, guided by the lights of the night city.
Tumblr media
The reddish lights of the poorly placed sign flashed right in front of you. You, clinging to Kasey's arm, stared at the place with a long sigh coming out of your lips. Sure, you'd watched boxing matches on television and even bought tickets to one on some vacation trip to the States. But it never, ever crossed your mind to be in a giant shed, people back and forth as the words slowly came out of Kasey's mouth.
"Can we call it an underground fight?" from the look Sunghoon gave her, that was the name of what was going on.
Maybe because of the lack of regulations and because none of the fighters were, in fact, professionals, they were just there for the money and the numerous bets that were going on. You recognized this by the stand that was set up right next to the small staircase where there was a makeshift grandstand. Men of all shapes and sizes bet on so many names that you could not identify anything that came out of their mouths. A few women who were there, with fewer clothes than you were wearing, waved and greeted you and Kasey even though they didn't know each other. Maybe a brief recognition that you were the only one there among so many men, besides the others in their bikini tops who were standing in the middle of the fighting ring just waiting for it all to start.
Sunghoon approached with a smile on his lips, both hands carrying glasses that surely contained some drink for you to savor while you were there.
"So, did you like it?" he asked after handing you a glass. It was so full that you decided to share it with Kasey, it was still too early to drink so much.
"It's different" you said, smiling as you drank some of the beer and handed it to your friend "Is that really not dangerous?"
"Look, y/n is scared?" Kasey joked before sipping on the same glass as you "But… I don't think so, do you, love?" she looked at Sunghoon.
For a few seconds, he decided to stay quiet, just looking around trying to find words that could comfort you or make you less tense. Because he knew that's exactly what was happening, just like it happened to Kasey when he told her.
"They're used to it, y/n. But inside there's everything they need in case they get hurt" Sunghoon pointed to the left corner, it looked like a dressing room of sorts and his smile widened when a tall man appeared in the doorway and waved at him, beckoning him in "Come, I want you to meet my friend."
"He's hot" Kasey whispered to you.
"I heard that!" Sunghoon shouted loud enough, making you both laugh as he intertwined his fingers with Kasey's, and she raised her other arm for you to hold fearing she'd lose you in the crowd.
Passing by the one you were referred to, it seemed to be a bit quieter there. The flow of people was much smaller compared to outside. The voices were loud and fast, but there was no danger of bumping into anyone and so you managed to get a little free from Kasey's arm to give her and Sunghoon more privacy as they walked a little further ahead.
Through the dark corridor you were now passing, your best friend stopped in front of the black door and gave a quick knock before entering, without waiting for a confirmation.
"I can't believe you came" the amused voice greeted him, and Sunghoon was soon laughing as he let go of Kasey's hand to enter first and hug the man.
Your friend looked at you and winked in your direction, maybe that boy was the handsome one she had told you about, but his face was still a mystery because the hug lasted so long. It looked like he and Sunghoon hadn't seen each other in years.
"Did you think I would lose your fight today?" shit, Sunghoon's friend is a fighter, you almost yelled at that. Sighing, soon Kasey's voice greeted him and she hugged him too. The man's laugh was as infectious as your best friend's who was laughing at some comment he had made before releasing Kasey from the hug.
And last but not least, you. Your gaze finally caught the really handsome guy in front of you. Was he hot? For God's sake, Kasey lied, he looked like a Greek God. Well-drawn lips, a pointed nose, and an extremely lined, pearly, beautiful smile. Those teeth could reflect all the light in the room if it wasn't for the lamp that illuminated all of you.
"Heeseung, this is y/n, my best friend" Sunghoon introduced you. You smiled at him the same way he smiled at you, nodding and walking the steps that separated the two of you to hold his hand "Y/n, this is Heeseung. My best friend and coworker."
Your brow furrowed briefly and it didn't go unnoticed by either of them, making Heeseung chuckle some more before letting go of your hand.
"This fighting thing is secondary" he explained afterward "Sunghoon is not part of it."
"Not directly" he held his friend by the shoulders before he pulled him away from you to sit him back down in his chair.
Surely Sunghoon would have to explain to you a bit more about that because it was quite confusing, and looking at Kasey, you realized that that information had also been told to her not too long ago. Judging by the way she was sitting on the small couch staring at the two men who were talking non-stop.
"So" Heeseung's voice cut off the moment you were about to start a conversation with Kasey, making you both look at him "Where's your boyfriend, y/n?"
Boyfriend? You frowned again, so confused by the sudden question coming from him. Your eyes searched for Sunghoon who let out a small sigh, nibbling his lip as if he already knew what was coming.
"I… I don't have a boyfriend" you smiled and this time your action didn't mirror Heeseung. There was a frown on his face and the countenance that was once so cheerful was now so closed and nervous.
You almost felt guilty for telling the truth, why was it so bad not having a boyfriend? Was it a sin for you to be single? Your mouth opened to say something, but he looked away from you before he even let you continue.
"What was our deal, bro?" Heeseung stared at Sunghoon, still frowning and even more serious, if that was possible.
"Relax, it's just a night of fun" he explained.
"No, it's not" Heeseung got up from his chair and walked towards you, stopping a considerable distance away from you from Kasey "You need to go home, y/n."
"What? Why?" as a reflex to his actions, you got up from the couch and stood in front of him, the same distance he was keeping from you.
"Hey Heeseung, it's okay. She'll be with me and Hoon…" Kasey smiled without showing her teeth, seeing that even that hadn't disarmed the boy.
Heeseung gave up trying to say anything and walked over to Sunghoon without saying a word. He looked at the door just as there was a knock and his name was called, indicating that the fight was about to begin.
"Don't do that anymore, that wasn't our deal" he touched Sunghoon's shoulder before grabbing the bandages and gloves he always wore. Taking one last look at you, Heeseung left the room and slammed the door as hard as he could.
"What the fuck was that?" Kasey sighed and you let out all the breath you didn't know you were holding until the moment.
Your eyes stung a little, but what was the reason you would cry anyway? Trying to take a deep breath and contain it, you looked at Sunghoon for some bigger explanation.
"Do you have anything to tell us?" his girlfriend insisted, knowing that you wouldn't say anything else for a good while while you were still recovering.
Sunghoon was quiet for a good few minutes, just the sound of people passing back and forth outside the room. Someone had come in to get something Heeseung had forgotten, and as soon as he left, something dawned on the boy who had stayed there with you two.
"Just… Give Heeseung a break, okay?" he tried to explain, giving a smile so loose that neither you nor Kasey seemed to believe it.
That wouldn't be much more than an answer, so you decided to accept it and get it over with. Hoping so hard to be able to go home because that place was already getting exhausting for you.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, or not, Heeseung was a very good fighter. If you told him that he would take it up as a real profession, it would not go unnoticed. Or if you hadn't heard it come out of his mouth that it was secondary, like a hobby, you would never believe it.
He had precise blows, a cheeky grin on his face every time he hit his opponent. When someone hit him, the most he would get from Heeseung was a bit of spitting on the ground and jeering, before he would practically finish off his opponent in minutes.
"Round three" the man shouted from the middle of the ring. Even though he didn't need to, Heeseung seemed to accept while the other fighter had also agreed.
Taking a seat on the bench in the corner of the ring, he listened intently to the instructions of an older, fat, sweaty man. The towel he carried on his shoulders was so dirty that you could hardly believe it when Heeseung accepted it to wipe his forehead. He needs to take a shower urgently, your mind screamed as soon as the boy returned the towel.
When they gave the signal for the fight to resume, a girl – typical of wrestling – walked by in extremely short clothes into the ring. Whistles and cheers were heard throughout the venue. You held back your laughter when you saw Kasey almost shoot Sunghoon with her eyes, him staring at her for the entire moment until the woman disappeared from his field of vision and left the venue to the fighters alone.
"Come on, Hee! You already won!" Sunghoon shouted to his friend, encouraging him as he always did.
When he stood up from his seat, Heeseung looked at Sunghoon and smiled broadly, or as much as his mouthguard let him do. But as soon as his eyes traveled down Sunghoon's side, stopping directly at you, his smile fell. It was as if there was something about Heeseung that he just couldn't look at you with a smile.
The boy decided to ignore that and turn his attention back to the fight, adjusting his gloves and focusing any and all attention on the man in front of him.
It wasn't that hard to know that, with a few more blows, Heeseung had been named the winner. Bettors celebrated the boy's victory, while others who had bet on the loser, lamented the money they would have to pay.
All for the sake of entertainment. All for the sake of the underground fight that Heeseung loved, because he knew that at the end of the night, the money he would win would be more than enough not to step foot in there for a few weeks.
"Let's go find him" Sunghoon whispered to Kasey, seeing that she stared in your direction with his words even if you weren't hearing very well because of the distance between the two "I promise Heeseung won't say anything to y/n now."
"If he does, he and y/n can discuss" Kasey whispered back, but she let her boyfriend lead the way as the three of you made your way back to the less crowded part of the shed.
Where you, strangely, felt it was best. Even if it meant being in the same room as Heeseung for a few minutes.
Like the first time you were there, Sunghoon entered first and as soon as you entered, the room was not silent. Three more people besides you, your friends, and Heeseung were there. All men excitedly handed several wadded-up notes of money to the newly crowned champion of the fight. Heeseung was sweaty and panting, but he had such a bright smile on his face that you held back the urge to make a vomiting noise when you remembered that he had smiled like that before he was a complete asshole to you.
"Tonight was awesome, man" the gray-haired boy ruffled Heeseung's hair, taking a few steps away and stuffing the money bills into a plastic bag "When are you coming back to fight?"
Heeseung sighed loudly, taking the bag and putting it inside a bag that was probably his.
"Maybe in two weeks, or three" he closed the bag "With this amount I can go almost a month without showing up here."
"Really, tonight was the highest of the month" another man celebrated "You deserve it, man. I think it's good to get some rest too, you've worked hard."
"Thank you" Heeseung thanked and greeted the men before they left.
When he heard Sunghoon's voice congratulating him, he was still smiling, even looking through the reflection of the small mirror in front of him and looking straight at you. Replying to Sunghoon that he could have a few weekends like a normal person, without fighting or having cuts all over his face, Heeseung's gaze had never left you at any point.
And the strangest thing was that you couldn't stop looking at him either. It was as if you tried to look away, but half a second later and your eyes would go back to his reflection.
"And you're still here?" he finally turned around, finishing what he was doing and looking at you properly now.
You noticed the movement of Sunghoon and Kasey as if they had foreseen what was coming.
"Should I have left?" your tone of voice was the same as his, only a little lower for the distance you were standing. Heeseung snorted.
"Should have" how audacious, you wanted to mentally curse him for that "This place isn't for you."
"Of course. You should know a good place for me since you don't even know me."
"I know enough to know it was a mistake for Sunghoon to bring you here."
That hurt. In such a ridiculous way because Heeseung was a stranger to you, so why had his words hit you hard? Why, again, had your eyes started to sting and you were seeing everything in a blur?
"You're shit, Heeseung," your words came out so desperately that he didn't even care to hear them. It was as if the boy was used to being called that, but his Adam's apple shook hard at the way he swallowed dry. Why had he swallowed dry with you calling him that?
"Y/n…" Sunghoon called out to you, but not in time to get you trapped inside the room, because you had already left.
You could have also heard wrong, but Heeseung also called your name. Or was it your crazy head because your steps were so fast that you didn't want to go back?
Your gaze blurs more and more as you passed people, hearing shouts of another fight breaking out. You just wanted to leave.
Without difficulty finding the exit, you were already outside that shed breathing the cold air of the streets that embraced your body. And for some time afterwards, you let the tears fall on your cheeks.
"Y/n… Hey, sweet" you sniffled loudly at Kasey's voice right behind you, wiping your face ever so quickly. But to no avail, it was impossible to hide anything from your best friend.
She turned you around and hugged you slowly, stroking your hair and kissing your cheek.
"Let's go home, please?" you asked in a whisper, holding yourself back from crying again.
"Come on" she said "By the way, can I sleep in your apartment?"
"Why?"
She lifted her head to look at you, eyes reddened just like yours. Shit… Had she cried too?
"Sunghoon and I had a fight because…"
"Because of me?" a pout formed on your lips, you wanted to cry again because that had never happened before. And it was something you dreaded, having your best friends fight over you.
"Also, but—" she sighed, squeezing your cheeks and placing a kiss on your forehead before pulling away from you to hug you from the side "He and Heeseung have some deal that Sunghoon didn't tell me about. And if they treat my best friend like that, I'll fight."
You looked at her beside you, laying your head on her shoulder as she laid her head on yours. Both of you in that position for so long that you had lost count of how many people had passed by or how many people had left disappointed at losing a fight.
"Let's go home. There's a lot of goodies we need to eat in my closet" you broke the silence, hearing her giggle right after.
Tumblr media
You sighed wistfully as Kasey walked through your apartment door holding another bouquet in her hand.
"From Sunghoon again?" you held back a laugh as she agreed, kicking off her shoes to head to the kitchen.
Unhurriedly, your steps followed your best friend as you watched her search for a pot big enough to fit the new plants she received.
"With another regret card, this time I almost gave in" she pouted as she placed the flowers into the water, setting the makeshift pot on the kitchen counter.
Almost two weeks she decided to stay with you in your apartment until she forgave her boyfriend for feeling bad about the last fight. You asked her to stay as long as she needed, perhaps feeling less guilty for still thinking it was all because of you.
"Why don't you talk to him? I think Sunghoon already got what he deserved."
"I'm still upset about the last time we talked, he wouldn't tell me and even allowed Heeseung to talk to you like that" she pulled you into the living room without much difficulty, you wanted to go back there anyway and continue your cooking program before taking a long shower to make dinner.
Taking a seat on the couch, Kasey joined you in watching the show as she laid her head on your lap. You decided to end it there, after all, it was between the two of you and you had tried everything to get them talking again in that time. Even though you didn't respond so well to Sunghoon's messages, because you were upset with him too. But you wanted the good of your two best friends, so giving in was a good thing.
What if I text him now? You thought. After a few hours of watching television, Kasey had taken a short nap on your lap. Breathing quietly with his hand still petting her hair.
With your free hand, you reached out far enough to reach your cell phone and go to Sunghoon's chat. But before you could type anything, your best friend's number was calling you.
Was it a sign, perhaps? He wanted to talk too and that could be good. Or not. You didn't know it, but you answered quickly hearing the noise on the other end of the phone.
"Sunghoon?" you asked as soon as you got no answer, not even a hello from the other end.
"Oh, she answered… Y/n? It's Jake."
"Jake!" you smiled into the handset even though no one could see it, not even Kasey who was still sleeping on your lap "What's that noise?"
"We came to a bar after work" you heard him gasp as he walked to a less noisy place. Maybe he was heading outside the establishment "But some things… Well… Didn't work out so well."
You could swear he was smiling shyly now as if he had done something wrong. Your mind wandered to the first time you met him when Sunghoon introduced his coworkers. Jake was so energetic and funny, and he gave such a shy smile when he broke one of the cups at Jay's house. Maybe it was that smile he was giving now.
"Tell me what happened, please…" you stirred a little, praying that your friend wouldn't wake up. And it had worked. You managed to get up from the couch and walk to the kitchen.
"Jake? What are you doing, man? Give me my cell phone back!" it was Sunghoon, and judging by his slurred voice, the boy was drunk.
"Be quiet and go with Sunoo, he needs to clean that cut."
"Cut?" for a second your voice came out so loud that, with Kasey's words on the couch, now your best friend was awake and Jake was regretting having scared you that much.
"Okay, okay. Sorry y/n. Can you… Can you…"
"Y/n? Did you call her?" Sunghoon picked up the phone under Jake's protests, taking the lead to talk to you "I know you're mad at me and Heeseung and we don't blame you" why is he talking about Heeseung out of nowhere? You hadn't even mentioned his name "But please don't kill us today."
"Kill you? What happened?"
"I guess being away from Kasey made me mad" he huffed, you thought that probably at that moment Sunghoon was playing with his own feet for being embarrassed about what he was going to say next "They bumped into me, I got into a fight and… Well…"
He went quiet and so did Jake. For a moment you pulled your cell phone away from your face to see if the call was still going on.
"Sunghoon?"
"Come pick us up, please?" he asked in a whispery tone, almost afraid someone would hear him.
"Okay, give me the address, we'll be there in a few minutes" your gaze quickly traveled to Kasey's drowsy figure, which was slowly waking up at the sight of her face.
She knew something was up, and you took a deep breath as Sunghoon passed you the phone so Jake could give you the address.
You knew where it was, so it would be easier to locate as you hung up the phone.
"Did something happen?" Kasey yawned.
"We need to go out and get the boys, I need you to come with me" you were so quick to deflect her questions, after all, you didn't have much time and she could see for herself. You didn't know much either.
Other than enough said by Jake and the mumblings of a drunk Sunghoon. You just mentally prayed that nothing that serious had happened, even if your trembling hands on the steering wheel of the car told you otherwise.
Tumblr media
The nightclub was full and you didn't feel intimidated by the stares, because all the women were very well dressed and you were… in a sweatshirt. There was no time to change and even Kasey couldn't get out of her work clothes, because as soon as you said Sunghoon and cut in the same sentence, she just put on her shoes and ran with you wherever you went.
Disengaging from some people, apologizing to others for rushing through and getting to the other side of the club, you and your best friend finally reached the bar. The meeting point where Jake had texted you, and luckily, he had just arrived too.
"Thank God!" his sigh of relief was mirrored by the two of you, quickly hugging you on either side "Sunoo and I were the only ones in favor of calling you two" he looked at you and then at Kasey, smiling sincerely at the presence of the two of you there.
While he kept up a casual conversation, trying to distract them until they got to the back of the club, they both answered everything without much excitement, not least because the focus was on finding the boys who – possibly – were hurt. Sunghoon had a cut somewhere, that was the only information they had.
"The security guard let us stay here until you two arrived" Jake stopped in front of the door, it looked like a private room.
"Was it that bad?" Kasey tried not to look so desperate when Jake didn't answer with words, he just shrugged and sighed before walking in, being followed by her and then you.
The room was well lit and the table had only bottles of water on it, which made you feel more relieved. No alcohol, they had taken a break to recover.
Your gaze wandered around the people, stopping on Sunoo who was trying, uselessly, to make Sunghoon sit still while he cleaned the famous cut. It was on his lower lip and that could only have been caused by someone.
"Who did you fight with, Park Sunghoon?" your friend's voice caught the attention of all of them inside that room. So far no one had noticed the presence of the newcomers.
Sunghoon almost fell when he got up from the sofa if it wasn't for Sunoo who held him as soon as it happened.
"Kasey? Baby" he pouted, almost crying with the pain it caused him that his lip was bruised. Sunoo let go of him as her best friend reached for him, feeling his arms wrap around her.
"What happened?" he smothered her in a tight hug, saying anything you could at least hear. Paying attention to the two of them was funny, because in years of relationship, maybe that had been the most serious fight you've witnessed from them.
And it was weird, you couldn't deny it.
Your eyes went to Sunoo, smiling in appreciation for taking care of Sunghoon so well. Or at least trying to. And quickly a gaze ran to the other side of the room, stopping immediately on Heeseung.
He also seemed to have a cut, but he was located on his eyebrow. He had never looked away from you since you had entered that room, and judging by the way Jake put his hands on your back, pushing you towards him, it was your turn to go talk to the boy.
"Not me."
There was no denying that Jake was stronger, and this battle for breaking free from his hands to Heeseung would be a defeat. So you just accepted it and stopped in front of the boy.
"I'll help Sunoo and tell the security guard we can go now" Jake whispered to you, looking at Heeseung and flashing a smile "Behave yourself and be civilized this time."
"Okay, daddy Jake."
"Ew, gross. Don't call me that!" Jake flicked his middle finger at Heeseung and left, walking with Sunoo out of the room and leaving just the four of you there.
You wanted some sign of Kasey and Sunghoon, but their conversation seemed far more interesting than looking in your direction and answering the thousands of questions forming in your mind. Like, for example, why were you here with Heeseung? Sunoo could have looked after him or the boys could have told you what to say to the security guard and you would have gone there. Not standing there to look after someone who had been ridiculous to you.
"I think I can hear your neurons frying from here" Heeseung's voice invaded your ears and you sighed loudly, but not loud enough for him to hear since the music from the whole club was still invading every corner of the place. You turned towards him and tried not to express any reaction to that.
In vain. When he quickly grabbed your hands and forced his weight to stand up, getting only a few centimeters away from your body.
"Sorry, when I get drunk I can't… I…" his gaze was restless, paying attention to every little detail of your face. Whether it was your wide eyes and curiosity about his next move, or even your ajar, reddened lips that Heeseung swore he didn't want to see so closely or he might lose control.
"Heeseung, Sunghoon" Sunoo called out to his friends at the same moment Heeseung shook his hand. You let all the air out of your lungs when everyone inside that room paid attention to the newly arrived boy "Let's go out, I think y/n parked the car near ours. It won't be a problem for us to leave."
You all agreed and Sunoo guided Kasey, who had Sunghoon's arms around his body so he wouldn't stagger as he left. You wished you didn't have to think about it, but it was impossible at the same moment as Heeseung's hands gripped your shoulders.
"Can I hold on to you? I don't want to fall halfway," his voice whispered between your hair, close to your ear. And that damn shiver went through your whole body.
If he wasn't drunk, you could have sworn it was some kind of tease on his part. But without much thought one of your hands went to meet his on your shoulder, intertwining your fingers a little too tightly to hold him back.
"Be careful, Heeseung" you said, not knowing if he heard or not. You just wanted to get out of there and you did.
Walking out of the club with Sunoo in front to guide the way while Jake helped Kasey and Sunghoon.
Without much delay you reached the outside, you had indeed parked your car near the boys' car. Strategically or not, maybe out of sheer desperation to just get there and find them, but at least it had worked out.
"Okay, someone needs to take Heeseung's car. He won't drive like this" Sunoo held up the keys between his fingers.
"Hey, there's my keys" he grumbled, dropping your shoulders to stagger over to Sunoo. Unsuccessful in picking up his car keys, he was without a shred of reflex due to his drinking.
"And I came with him" Sunghoon whined softly, laying his head on Kasey's shoulder for a few seconds, but quickly getting up "I had an idea!"
"Oh shit, should we worry?" Jake asked amused, eliciting a small laugh from the group for the first time all night.
Sunghoon decided to ignore the joke made to him, looking at each of the people there until his eyes stopped on Heeseung.
"You knew that y/n did a few semesters of medicine, right?" you frowned at that question, after all, how relevant could it be since it had nothing to do with the subject.
"Yeah, we talked about it that day" Heeseung agreed.
"What? Did you talk about me?" you almost shouted, startling the two drunken chatters. Jake and Sunoo decided to turn their attention to their cell phones, talking to their girlfriends to give them the news that everything was okay later in the evening. Meanwhile, Sunghoon and Heeseung ignored – or tried to ignore – their questions and focused on the small talk they were having.
"She can take care of your cuts and take you home."
If your life were a cartoon, your eyes would pop out of their orbs the moment you rolled them. How could Sunghoon think such a thing? And how Jake was laughing at that situation so unpretentiously while you denied it with several nods.
"Sunghoon, what are you doing?" Kasey asked in a whisper.
"Helping my friend, I want to make amends with both of them" but his answer had been loud enough, and your eyes remained wide.
Jake, realizing that nothing would come out of his mouth and that Heeseung would not answer anything either, decided to intervene.
"Y/n, I think Sunghoon meant that you can take good care of Heeseung's cuts" he said low, just for you to hear since Sunoo, at that moment, was talking to Heeseung. Gave some guidance because he couldn't drive in that state "He cares the least about it and we're afraid it might get infected."
"I don't— Jake!" you whined.
"It's all right. Anything you can call me, you know" he touched your shoulder with him in a subtle motion "I live two streets away from Heeseung's apartment. If he's an asshole, you can yell."
It was just saying no. Just deny it and say that someone else could take such good care of his cuts other than you, not least because your medical school had been a long time coming. But of course, that first aid part hadn't been forgotten by you.
Shit, shit, shit. Why was no denial of any kind going on in your mind? Why were you walking towards Sunoo and reaching out to take the keys to Heeseung's car? Why were you handing your car keys to Kasey?
"Take care of my baby, please" you said to your best friend as the metal of the keys slipped out of your fingers and into hers.
"I will" she smiled, feeling Sunghoon's arms go away from her body so he could walk over to you and hug you.
"You're the best friend in the whole universe, I swear" Sunghoon whispered as he hugged you tightly. You, returning the hug, smiled as he kissed the top of your head before slowly pulling away "Take care of him for me because I know he'll take care of you."
"Okay, mister drunk" your smile made him smile too, and meanwhile, you clutched Heeseung's keys between your fingers and turned to him.
Without saying a single word, the boy pointed to the dark car in the row of a few cars a little further away. Then it was just a matter of saying goodbye to your friends and getting out. And so you did.
Greeting one by one until there was no one left, you let Heeseung lead the way, hoping he wouldn't trip or hurt himself on the way to the car. Safe and sound, he leaned against the passenger door and smiled without showing his teeth, indicating that it was that vehicle that would take you both away.
You unlocked it, got in, and were followed by him until you both closed the door for good.
"I need your address now" you said.
He just agreed, saying he would drive you to his apartment. As you started the car, your attention was always on the road, afraid to look away from him. But that didn't stop Heeseung from looking at you.
And he knows he did it all the way to his apartment. Without regretting it for a second.
Tumblr media
Heeseung let you rummage through the bathroom cabinet when you said the first aid kit was in there. Complying with your requests, he walked to the kitchen and drank at least two full glasses of water in an attempt to relieve the drunkenness – which had been leaving his body since the moment he got into the car with you. This time, pulling up a chair to sit near the table, the young man waited patiently until you returned. Or he thought he was patient, faltering the second you walked through the kitchen door.
Under the bright light of the kitchen Heeseung could swear that your skin glowed something completely different than he had ever seen in his entire life. Your face was so focused on the small briefcase and some tape in your other hand, that he sighed when he saw a small pout forming on your lips.
"I already washed my hands, okay?" your voice was low due to your proximity to him, placing the case on the table behind Heeseung. He straightened up in the chair and, as if by automatic, his legs opened for you to fit your body in there.
Your gaze fell on Heeseung's legs, hesitating whether or not to stay there, but it was the only way. The only right way to be so close so you could clean that cut with the almost dried blood.
Tidying his hair so that no strands remained in front of his face, he slowly slid between his legs to stand there, a few centimeters from Heeseung's body that was sitting almost static in front of you. He closed his eyes as soon as he saw you pick up the cotton and pour something in, feeling the icy material against his skin.
"What…"
"I'm cleaning it" you kept talking quietly, sometimes making your breath hitch against his skin "You were sweaty and it was open for a long time, we don't know what's in there."
He murmured in agreement, continuing to keep his eyes closed and not catching any moment of your care. Only occasionally feeling your fingers against his hair to push it away from his face. Or when the absorbent cotton slipped out of your hands, or even when you wiped away some of the contents you had used to clean up and it was dripping, almost going onto his cheek.
"Heeseung?" you called him after a few minutes.
"Yeah…" he opened his eyes, meeting yours that was already looking at him in anticipation. A small smile formed on his lips and Heeseung didn't know why he smiled back at that.
"This might sting a bit" he rolled his eyes down his hands, seeing a small bottle there. Surely he had bought it at the insistence of his coworkers, after all, Heeseung had no idea how to heal a wound. In all of his – occasioned by fighting – Heeseung always had someone in the ring who did it for him, so worrying about taking care of it wasn't his area.
"You know y/n, you don't have to—"
"I do, you won't get it without some medicine" your scolding made him go quiet, realizing that had shut Heeseung up, so you continued "You can squeeze me or ask me to stop if it stings unbearably, okay?"
Without a single word, he just agreed, thinking it was a complete exaggeration. Especially since he fought practically all the time, he had already been beaten up a lot and had many cuts on his face, why would it burn so much that he would do those things?
"Fuck" Heeseung almost screamed when he felt his skin burn and the pressure of your fingers with the cotton from the cut.
In the same second, he grabbed your waist, his strong hands squeezing your shirt and consequently pulling your body closer to him. It made you completely hug Heeseung. And he didn't seem to notice, not even for a moment as he still held himself tightly against you.
Your breathing faltered for a few seconds, the closeness to him making you inhale the scent he had. The musk of his fragrance entered your nostrils as you closed your eyes momentarily and opened them, focusing on the care while Heeseung still kept his hands on your waist.
"It's okay, you can let me go now" you whispered as you took the cotton with the medicine, discarding it just like the other materials you used to clean his wound.
"Shit, I'm sorry" realizing what he had done as soon as he opened his eyes, Heeseung released his hands from your waist, remaining seated.
You didn't say anything else as you put away every single thing you used, throwing what you needed in the trash and going back to grab your kit bag. Your walk back to the bathroom was longer because your steps seemed slower and your thoughts traveled to Heeseung's fingers against your body. As he walked out of the kitchen in the same slow steps, processing what had just happened.
It wouldn't be a big deal that touches because he actually felt pain and your body was the only tangible thing in front of him. But why did Heeseung's fingers tingle? Why did he want more of that contact?
"Okay, your stuff is already put away" your voice snapped him out of his reveries, making the boy stare at you a little dazed by the whole situation.
"Thank you" he tried to smile knowing that it had looked more like a grimace because you laughed softly as you searched for the things that you had left on the couch "Hey, where are you going?"
"Home…?" your lips pressed together, preventing any expression from being used as you held up your cell phone and the cold sweater you had put there when you arrived.
"No, you can stay."
"Heeseung, I—"
"Seriously y/n, I insist" he interrupted you, swallowing dryly when he saw a glimpse of hesitation in you, almost dropping your phone in it's place "It's the least I can do after you took care of it" he pointed to the cut that no longer bled "And you can rest assured, I like sleeping on my couch."
"No… Not really" you tried to protest.
"I'll be right back" with an overwhelming stubbornness, Heeseung disappeared down the hallway of the apartment, making you snort and not giving you a chance to answer anything.
He didn't take long, but it felt like an eternity to you when he came back with some blankets and pillows in his arms, throwing everything on one of the armchairs.
"I'm not very tidy with things, but I promise my bed is a clean and safe place" he smiled, running one of his hands over the back of his neck quickly. Heeseung was at a loss and didn't know how to act from then on "You can sleep there tonight, I'll take you home as soon as we wake up."
You had nothing else to say but accept the offer. Leaving at that hour from Heeseung's apartment wasn't a smart thing to do, taking an app car wasn't very safe either. And Jake had probably already gone to sleep, you didn't want to bother him, even if the boy lived a few minutes away.
"Thanks, Heeseung" was the only thing you managed to say before approaching him and touching both of his hands. Slowly brushing your thumb across the back of his hand, an intimate and quick act, before letting go of his hand and smiling once more. You said your goodbyes and headed down the hallway to the bedrooms, running into his room as your cheeks began to heat up.
Meanwhile, slumped on the huge sofa, Heeseung felt a tingle in his hand again. But this time, a huge smile was on his lips, and now he could tell why this time.
Tumblr media
You didn't know you would miss waking up to the smell of Heeseung. Even though it had only been a few days since you had slept over at his place, with him dropping you off at your apartment door, it was getting more and more confusing. Why couldn't you just stop thinking about him? After all, Heeseung had been a asshole, he'd only been nice out of courtesy and because you'd taken care of his cut, nothing could be fairer.
But no. He had a way of ruining all the thoughts and strategies you yourself had devised to ward off anything related to him.
Hearing the doorbell ring relentlessly, you huffed and walked lazily to the door, balancing your coffee mug as you let your hair down from the grueling day you had at work.
"I hope you haven't forgotten anything here at all, Kasey."
"Maybe Sunghoon can get it for her later" Heeseung's voice almost made you knock over all the coffee you were drinking. Your eyes widened at the sudden appearance and the words had simply vanished from your mind, as if you had unlearned how to speak.
"What… What are you doing here?" shit, you wanted to scream, why were you stuttering in front of him?
"Can I come in?"
No.
"Yes, come in" you said, completely betraying your brain from barring you while there was time.
After entering your apartment, Heeseung walked shyly to the center of your living room with you trailing behind, admiring every detail in it.
"Sorry to come unannounced, but…" he stopped looking at your wall decorations, turning around and facing you "Sunghoon said it was either this, or you wouldn't answer any of my messages."
"Why?" you asked.
"Because maybe he let it slip that you've already called me every possible name" he shrugged, not seeming the least bit affected by it. You could feel your cheeks burning, and from the embarrassed look on your face, Heeseung managed to smile.
"Well… I had reasons" your coffee mug rested on the coffee table as you approached him, crossing your arms in front of your chest as Heeseung held out his hands. A bag dangled from your fingers and you glanced at it quickly, letting out a laugh afterward.
"Accept my apology, please" you took the package and then bluntly took it from there.
The bottle of wine looked expensive enough that you never thought of buying it. It was the kind of gift that only your best friends would give because it never seemed to cross your mind to spend something like that.
"Heeseung" his name came out of your lips like a little melody, and he loved it.
"I didn't know if you liked flowers or chocolates" he whispered "But Sunghoon always comments on how you and Kasey go out drinking, I just figured."
"Thank you" that had been so cute that the pout on your lips made him sigh, and he didn't care that you had heard.
"It was for fight day, actually."
"What?"
He was quiet for the briefest of seconds, waiting for you to put the bottle of wine away somewhere appropriate that you could use later or whenever you pleased. As soon as you approached him again, Heeseung nibbled on his bottom lip as he rambled on about how to tell you about it.
"Ever since I started this thing, me and the boys have had an agreement" the agreement that neither you nor Kasey knew about, so you just nodded because he had to keep talking. And because you were too curious to say anything "We don't take any kind of unaccompanied girl to the fight."
"Why?" Heeseung pondered whether or not to continue, but he had already gotten that far. If he turned back, you'd surely get even angrier and never see him in front of you again.
"I've been around this shit long enough to see what the guys are capable of over there, y/n" he had a serious tone, but he didn't sound angry at all. Just emphasizing that the subject wasn't any kind of joke "I've lost count of how many times I've heard absurdities from the guys there and what they did with any girl who stepped in that place" he made a disgusted face, recalling facts and even stories that the men told.
It was stomach-churning and Heeseung would spare you any details, telling you only what was necessary to get the matter over with.
"So I made a deal with them about it, that they could only take some girl if she was accompanied" finally, Heeseung didn't know he had gotten so close to you while telling that story. Looking into your eyes when he was finally a few centimeters away from you.
"That's why you asked if I had a boyfriend?" your voice almost faltered from lack of use, watching him slowly agree.
"I was so mad at Sunghoon for breaking our agreement that I ended up taking it out on you, so for that I'm sorry" Heeseung's hand touched your arm, causing you to undo their crisscross so he could hold your hand and intertwine your fingers in his.
"It's okay, you had a good reason. You could have just said it instead of being an asshole to me."
"I know that, that's why I want to make amends" Heeseung slowly squeezed your fingers in his, staring at their joined hands as he looked back up at your face.
"How?"
"By inviting you to my next fight this weekend" he smiled when he saw your face contort in confusion.
Why would Heeseung call you to the place where he said all sorts of things happened and, on top of that, have the first fight that made you hate him – not at the moment – but you didn't want to admit it.
"For you to fight me again for being alone there?" your question made him laugh, Heeseung knew he wouldn't get a different answer than that. And he expected it, so his next move had been almost calculated.
Closing the small distance between you two, he let you feel the small pressure of his body against yours. One of his hands ran down to your waist, the first place he touched you.
"No" Heeseung's voice was so low it was only audible because of proximity as he lowered his neck enough to let his face close to yours "Because you'll be with me."
"But you're going to fight" you said as the tip of his nose touched yours, a small sigh leaving your lips at the contact.
"Exactly" he whispered "I'll be watching you the whole time" Heeseung squeezed your waist, still whispering every word as he brushed his lips against yours "And it was nice to have your eyes on me while I was in the ring, you know?"
"Really?" you remembered the small exchange of glances between the two of you when it all went down, thankful that now you both had your eyes closed so he wouldn't notice the blush on your cheeks.
"Really, because it motivated me in a way."
"How?"
"On the one hand I was mad that you didn't have a boyfriend and were alone there" Heeseung touched his lips to yours, the softness almost making you cry out. He chuckled softly, the vibration going straight to his mouth because of how close the two of you were "On the other hand I felt relieved, so I have an excuse to call you to my fights."
"I guess I can accept that."
He wasn't sure if the answer was from your sentence or the way his lips were still lingering on yours. Heeseung was going to take that as an answer to both thoughts, getting carried away with the fact that now you would go with him to the fights and finally get to taste your lips on his.

Tumblr media
after you had shortly left heeseung in the kitchen, you had turned on the air-conditioning. you could feel your heart racing quickly.
what should I do? plan? I should create a plan to make it seem like I am a good owner while somehow keeping distance with heeseung
“i think the water is overflowing." heeseung says. your eyes widened. you quickly ran to the kitchen and turned the fire off. the water simmering down as you let out a breath.
"i'm so sorry, i should have turn off the fire." heeseung's head drops. you sighed and went to touch his hair. your hands making contact with his ears. it twitches when you touched it.
"it's alright. i should have remembered to turn it off." the boy looks up at you and your heart drops when you noticed his glossy eyes. you instantly pulled him into a hug.
"hey, it's alright. it's not your fault."
"i just don't want to mess things up. i'm scared that you might not want me anymore." he sniffles. you ran your hand up and down his back to calm him down and you could feel him loosen up and finally wrap his arms around your waist.
"i'm not going to leave you, heeseung." you whisper. heeseung hides his face further into your neck and you blushed.
okay maybe there was no way out of this so you guess this was the only route to follow. you were going to allow heeseung into your heart.
"really?" he says.
"of course."
“thank you. you’re the first owner to say that.” heeseung mumbles quietly.
how dare those people…
“those people don’t deserve you. you’re strong for having to go through all the hardships.”
“t-thank you.” he says.
as you placed heeseung at arm’s length, you noticed the stray tears that fell onto his cheeks. you had reached up and wiped them away.
“I’ll be your guardian from now on. I’ll protect you and give you the love you deserve after all those horrible years.”
heeseung sniffles, his doe eyes staring back at you. “I’m a little scared b-but I’ll try.”
“you dont have to completely warm up to me, you can slowly do it. I understand it’s hard for you.” you say in the sweetest tone.
heeseung hums, “okay. I can try.”
you turned your head to look at the ramyeon. “ah right, the ramyeon. it’s probably too soft to eat now, I’ll just whip up a new batch. why don’t you go sit in the sofa for a bit?”
he didn’t move, it was almost like his legs were frozen. he shakes his head. “don’t wanna leave.”
“okay, then. you can stay and watch me. just sit at the table right there.”
he nods and sits there. despite him being a hamster hybrid, he sure acts like an obedient puppy. his ears twitch once the water starts boiling and you started making some fried eggs to add into the ramyeon. he looked excited, almost about to jump out of his seat as he waits for the food in anticipation.
you had plate the ramyeon and then placed it in front of him. “there. enjoy.” you smiled.
heeseung digs in, he hastily eats it since he was hungry. he chews on it, filling his cheeks with noodles. his cheeks round and rosy, just as he opens to speak, he starts to hicup. you hand him a cup of water so he could digest his food with.
“eat slowly, you’ll choke.” heeseung hums at your words. he eats slowly just like you said.
and then, the doorbell rang. his freezes, his heartbeat growing quicker.
“I’ll get the door, don’t worry and just eat.” you had reached up to give him a pet as you noticed his scared and confused look. he leans into your touch. you made your way to the door and just as you opened it, you heard a familiar voice that made you freeze.
“open the door. i know you're there.”
it sounded demanding. scary. you knew exactly who it was.
“w-who is that?” heeseung’s small voice appears next to you.
“oh umm…that’s my ex-boyfriend. we can just ignore him.” just as you finished your words, your ex-boyfriend pounds on the door. it startles both you and heeseung. the poor hamster boy clenches his fist.
“he’s scary. are you sure he’s not going to break down the door.”
“he might at this rate. how about you stay in my room, okay? it’s the one to the left with some fake leaves on the wall.”
“okay.” heeseung shyly says. he goes over to your bedroom and you breathed in before opening the door. your ex-boyfriend, minjun, was halfway about to pound on the door again.
“what do you want?” you asked him.
“you weren’t answering and I was worried.” minjun nonchalantly says as he folds his arms.
“we aren’t together anymore so why should you care?”
"we aren't together?" it was like a dark cloud loomed over him, he smirks and steps closer towards you. "what do you mean we aren't together anymore, baby? we never broke up, unless i said we could."
your heart rate accelerates quickly, his hands ready to reach up and hit you as he always had during the toxic relationship. however, before he could even lay a hand on you, someone grabs his arm and towers over him.
it was heeseung
he had come to save the day. something weird about it was, there was no sign of the kind and shy heeseung behind his dark and scary eyes. all that was left was rage, anger and a murderous glint. it kinda scared you a little, what happened to the cute and adorable hamster boy?
