Okay, so I just need to talk about this for a minute: So I H/C Vergil and Dante to have been born on the 21st of December 1980, right? So you know what was a childhood toy in the 80s?

LAWN DARTS

Imagine this: Vergil comes back post-5 and wants to bond with Nero so he tries to remember what Dante and he used to do when they were kids; then he remembers lawn darts. So Vergil goes to the store, alone because he's semi-embarrassed about trying to get closer with Nero. After going to several stores and being unsuccessful, Vergil finally interacts with a store employee. When the employee tells ol' Verge that lawn darts have been outlawed for nearly 4 decades. On the way back to the shop, Vergil has a small existential crisis about the fact that he's nearly 50 and has missed out on a lot of things-- the great idea of using his summoned swords instead of the darts. Of course, when everyone plays it devolves to Dante, Vergil, and Nero attacking each other (mostly Dante and Vergil).

For real though. Being serious now. The biggest offender which have injured multiple people and literally killed a little girl. I couldn’t believe this shit even hit the shelves.

After it was recalled, because of the death, they eventually released a still dangerous weighted blunt version. Which has also caused many injuries.

I miss these toys and commercials but not lawn darts. That shit scared the fuck out of me because no one, NO ONE, used it the way it was meant to be used.
