Summary: Pedro + You + Sun + Family Time + Canary Islands = Vacation

You remember when you and Pedri choosed the house he was renting for vacations, you had gone to it a few weeks prior and you fell in love with the pool, the crystal clear water and the prettiest view of Tenerife ever.

But now you were having a hard time watching your shirtless boyfriend go around the whole place as if nothing, when all you wanted was to jump on him over and over again.

You reminded yourself of the fact his parents were there, his brother and girlfriend, his cousin and a few friends of them. Of course you two sneak a couple-time here and there but not like you would have wanted to.

And with the fact Pedro was building up muscles, he was looking gorgeous than ever.

When Adrián, Pedro's cousin suggested the first pool day after a week of being here, you all nodded and agreed to it quickly. And here you were...

Pedro was looking divine, pretty, gorgeous, words couldn't describe what you felt by only looking at him. And when he got shirtless, you chocked up on your drink, making Rosy, María (Fer's girlfriend), Antonella (Adrian's friend), Fernando, Fer and Pedro look at you confused, the last one worried about you.

"Se fue por el camino viejo" (It went in the old road) You said after composing yourself, coughing up a few times to cover the fact you drink went up to your nose. The named ones laughed lightly but Pedro, you saw Rosy was smirking at you.

Please, don't let her keep up with your thoughts about her son.

"Bonita, are you alright?" Pedro said kneeling down as you nod repeatedly

"Yes, don't worry, cariño" You cleared your throat and looked at him "I'm good" You leaned down to kiss his cheek "I'm good" He smiled softly feeling your lips on his cheek once again

"Wanna join us at the pool?" You shook your head softly watching how Adrián, Fer and their friends throw themselves on it

"Not yet, amor. Go and enjoy, wanna sunbathe for a bit" He rolled his eyes

"Don't you think you've done a lot of those lately?"

"Let her tan, Pedro" Rosy said softly as you stucked your tongue out towards him as he sticked his out too, making you laugh

"Sunbathe is one thing, Sunburn is another and I don't want her to get the second one, mom" Pedro said to his mother shaking his head as the older lady looked at him with a smile on "Let me put sunscreen on you, at least?" You smiled nodding and got into the lounge chair.

You got out of the sheer mesh beach pants you had on and were only left in your black two pieces bikini

"Creo que yo me puedo colocar bloqueador solar adelante" (I think I can put on sunscreen on myself in my front) Pedro shook his head

"Que yo te lo pongo todo" (I'll put it all) You smiled

"¿Puedo luego colocarte yo el bloqueador?" (After this, can I put the sunscreen on you?) He hums smiling

"Claro que si" (Of course)

He massaged your chest, neck, face, shoulders, arms, tummy and legs slowly with deep grabbings in certains parts and he still made it look innocent when you were being a whole mess thanks to him

"I think you did this just to touch me in front of everybody" You said when he was putting it on your back, you felt his laugh

"Un poco sí" (A little yes) He nods "But I truly take care of my girlfriend too so" You smile softly

"Claro que lo haces" (Of course you do) You say and then yelped a little when you felt a little smack on one of your ass cheeks, you turned around quickly "¡Pedro González López!" You hit his chest feeling his laugh "Your parents are there!"

"They know how I am with you around me" He kissed your lips "Que 'tas muy hermosa, mi vida" (You're beautiful) He smiled grabbing your hand that was on his chest "El traje de baño te queda espectacular... Se me hace imposible no mirarte y quererte hacer varias cositas" (The bikini looks gorgeous on you... It makes me impossible not looking at you and wanting to do several things to you) You blushed

Glad to know the feeling was mutual

"But that can be done in the night" You say

"I can't wait for tonight, then" You smile grabbing the sunscreen of his hands and pushing some into your hand

"Venga, we don't want any sunburns here" He kisses your lips quickly before giving you a full look of his broad and hard chest, you also did the same to him, slow and deep grabbing massage in his body in front and in his back too. "All done"

"¿Segura que no vienes?" (You sure you don't wanna come?) You smiled

"I'll join you guys later, you go" He smiled before kissing you once again and running towards the water, splashing the lads a bit as they tried to cover themselves up

"Can we join?" María says as you smile

"Please, do" You put on Pedri's sunglasses but before you could relax properly a plate of croquetas was pull besides your table and Rosy leaned down to whisper in your ear

"Tell Pedrito to control himself a bit" She smiled kissing your cheek "And you try to not let the drinks go into the wrong way again, please. Que nos preocupamos por ti, hija" (We worry for you) Your hands went to your face blushing and laughing

"Ay Díos mío, que pena" (Oh my gosh, what a shame)

"Nonono, que va" (Nonono, don't worrry) She shook her head "Don't be just tell him to keep it down a bit" You blushed hard

How the hell were you supposed to look again at Rosy in the eyes? You couldn't.

After a while of your little talk with Rosy, the girls and you got into the pool for a while, playing fight with Fer and María, Pedro and you winning a few times, until the sun was setting when you got out of it and drying yourself off a bit a few minutes later Pedro came out and sat next to you

"¿Qué estabas hablando con mamá?" (What did mom and you were talking about?) He said wipping the excess of water from his face

"That you should keep it in your pants!" You exclaimed softly as Pedro's face softly formed a smile "Don't laugh!" He nodded laughing

"I will" He said "It's funny"

"No, it isn't" You said shaking your head with a small smile on, you couldn't help it, it was funny but at the same time it wasn't

"But you're laughing"

"I'm not" He kissed the corner of your lips as you blushed

"Lovebirds, stop it!" Fernando said "Let's come in and have some dinner"

"Ahora tú padre piensa lo mismo" (Now, your dad thinks the same) Pedro laughs hugging you to him as he leaded the both of you inside.

During dinner, you handled all the jokes and comments made about how you and Pedro couldn't keep your hands off of each other and whilst you felt embarrassed from it, you loved the fact they considered you one more of the family. You have been with Pedro for two years and ever since first moment they had let you know that and you loved them as much as they loved you.

Now, fast forward bedtime you couldn't sleep. You didn't know why. Pedro had tried to help you out but you didn't allowed it seeing as it was enough teasing from his family that day, so when he was asleep you went outside and felt drown by the beauty of the moon reflecting into the water.

You undid your clothes once more being left in bra and panties and got into the, surprisingly, warm water enjoying the quiet and dark view of Tenerife at 1 in the morning

"Bonita, ¿qué pasa?" (Bonita, what's wrong?) You heard his raspy voice said as he looked at you confused

"Couldn't sleep"

"¿Y por eso vienes a la piscina a estas horas?" (And that's why you come to the pool at this time?) He asks

"I didn't wanted to wake you up and doing nothing around the house is boring"

"You know I can't sleep without you by my side" You smile before you saw him get out of his pijama pants and join you in the pool

"¿Qué haces?" (What are you doing?) You ask softly

"Acompaño a mi chica a ver la luna, hablo un rato y paso el tiempo con ella. ¿Tú?" (I accompany my girl to see the moon, talk for a while and spend time with her. You?) He whispered

"Falling in love with my gorgeous boyfriend" He smiled leaning down to kiss your lips, your hands around his neck and his hands grabbed the back of your thights to pull them around his waist. You kept on kissing for a little while until he separated from you enough to look at your face.

"You owe me something" He whispered as you smiled

"Your mom could catch us at any second"

"She's a heavy sleeper" His hand went down to your ass and gripped its flesh getting a breathy moan out of you "Let me help you out, please" His hands travelled down to your front "You looked divine in that bikini and a little bird told me you choked on your drink because of me"

"Such an ego, you have" He pressed your back to the cold tiles of the pool

"Ah, ¿Pero acaso es mentira?" (Ah, but is it a lie?) He smirked continuing with his trail down your legs and up

"You looked so good" You defend yourself as he laughs smirking

"Venga, let's tire you up"

ugh when is it my turn to have an irl kassandra i would do anything for her .

anyways what kinds of clothing styles, jobs, or just general day-to-day life (like their houses) do you think modern!kassie/eivor/soma would have?

Pssh, it's not like I've given this any extensive thought in the past or anything... That would be weird... Who would do that haha

Kassandra dresses like a dad who lost his passport in Tenerife on holiday and has been stuck cycling between the same 4 hawaiian shirts since three Tuesdays ago, but owns a few casual suits for work.

She's a historian and museum curator. Specialises in the history of weaponry, occasionally giving guest lectures on ancient swords at universities. Mention any type of weapon and she will not be able to stop herself from rambling about its evolution over the centuries.

Has a pottery wheel. You know that scene from Ghost (1990)? Yeah. Very reliable with the ladies.

Ikaros is her pet eagle, do not ask her how she manages to get him pet insurance because she may have lied about his species.

She has a vegetable garden (her pride and joy, this might as well be her child with how well she takes care of it) and a briki to make coffee with. Kassie always starts her day off with freshly brewed coffee the traditional Greek way, some bread and some fruit, which she always plates too much of because Ikaros likes to steal it.

She's a great cook.

Dozens of books on old weapons are dotted about her home and some (so many. so fucking many holy shit) model replicas because she's a fucking nerd.

You cannot turn a corner inside her home without seeing at least three family photos. Family includes Myrrine, Alexios, Barnabas, Herodotos, Markos, Alkibiades and Phoibe. Nikolaos is in prison for trying to yeet his stepchildren off a cliff.

Phoibe is her goddaughter who calls her "auntie" and Auntie Kass absolutely gives her the world.

Eivor serves lumberjack realness. Flannels, cargo pants, work jeans, yes she has a tool belt, yes she looks a damn treat in it. All she's missing is the hard hat and the protective visor. The axe is in her workshop.

She wears glasses. This isn't up for debate.

Tattoo artist by trade and has a degree in literature. Her love for poetry knows no bounds. She specialises in black and grey realism and her pieces are breathtaking.

Speaking of poetry, her colleagues bully her mercilessly for being a "big old sap". She has fancy paper to write her poems up on, and a wax sealing kit for handwritten letters. She's old fashioned like that.

Technology is a demon she would rather not trifle with. 100% complains about the need for there to be an app for everything, but she does appreciate video calls so she can see her people.

As a hobby, she pursues woodworking and blacksmithing, sometimes selling her creations. She'd make the engagement ring she proposes to you with herself

Dwolfg (or Chewy, or Mouse) Nali and Dandelion Puff are all beloved members of her household. The neighbours' kids named them all; sometimes she babysits Knud and Sylvi, and of course Eira has to tag along.

Her fridge is full of boring meal prep (you better wife her up and cook for her) but her pantry? Brimming with baking supplies. Ma'am loves to bake. Sure, she eats a lot of grrr protein big strong macro gym buzzword meals, but she loves bread and cake. Big muscles but she likes to eat, so she isn't lean, I'm gonna stop before this gets unreasonably gay

Soma, look, this is gonna be specific, but there's foundations for this in game (her metric fuck ton of rugs in the longhouse). She evidently likes fancy things. Her modern!AU occupation: owner and ceo of a sustainable luxury jewellery brand. Recycled metals, gemstones that are sourced/synthesised sustainably, everything is ethically manufactured and her employees are paid well.

She's from humble beginnings, so she does loads for charity and really enjoys quiet domesticated tasks.

Waistcoats and tie when she's attending businessy things, simple t-shirt or jumper and joggers when working from home. Outside, she wears a few rings that she designed.

Not a particularly great cook, but she's a mean pastry chef. She has a massive sweet tooth. Loves to start her mornings with a homemade croissant and a cappuccino.

There is a post-it note above her desk to reminder her to straighten her posture because she tends to sit like a fucking goblin.

Her home is pretty eclectic, which takes people by surprise given her organised manner. Lots of blankets strewn over the couch, lots of knickknacks she collected over the years, some sentimental ones from Lif and some ruder ones from Birna. A few sketchbooks are scattered about with designs for work.

She has a record player and an ungodly collection of country vinyls. It's okay. Nobody's perfect. It's what makes her human.

Also needs to wear glasses, but wears contacts usually because she insists the specs make her look "old", oblivious to the distant sounds of feral lesbian screaming whenever she puts them on.

I think 18 is Ed getting in Harry’s head and writing from his perspective, writing a song whose title could pair with 22.

By 2014, he and Harry had been tight for 4 years (since 16 and 19, respectively) and Ed called him “his rock”.

Hello everybody, I got a writing request from @justahoesstuff and here it is.

Her request was: Taz and y/n are co stars and taz is really into y/n ( maybe already in a relationship) maybe them in a interview with taz being cute and clingy or anything possessive.

Or where Taz is in solo interviews and him and y/n are already in a long term established relationship and he speaks really fondly about her.

I hope that everybody will like it. Sidenote: English isn’t my first language.

It was more than obvious to everyone on Set, that Taz had a crush on her. Everyone always brought it up and made fun of him for having a crush on y/n because they thought he could never be attracted to her. He was always one to tell everyone that he could fall in love so quickly but this time it was much deeper. It was deep love that he felt, this sweet deep love that included the heart and the soul.

Taz had been having these little daydreams on set since the first day the two of them had met for the very first time, mostly cute ones, but becoming more and more naughty as he dreamed of things the two of you could do together. Taz always got nervous around her and even if he wanted to talk to her, or at least try, he could never have a full conversation with her, because he was so nervous around y/n.

" Come on Taz, you can do it",he whispered to himself and finally went over to her. His heart stopped for a moment because even though she was shorter than him, for him she was the most beautiful woman on the set.

At some point he was finally able to keep the conversation with her longer and deepen it, so he gathered all his courage and gave her a small gift. He knew she loved one of his bracelets, he had it for years almost decades, and had bought it in Tenerife. He nervously tied it around her wrist and thought he was flying when she kissed his cheek, and meeting his lips gently. They both looked at each other with big eyes when she suddenly kissed him properly and so they were together from then on.

Taz and y/n had been together for over a year now, and he often imagined what it would be like if y/n became his wife. He thought about it again and again, even when he was on the way to an interview for the film that was soon to be released in cinemas. He gently kissed his girlfriend early in the morning, whispering little sweet nothings to her as he kissed her again and again, and with a heavy heart he had to leave and drive to the studio where the interview was taking place.

He got out in a good mood, went in, greeted everyone and quickly sent his lady a sweet message before the interview started.

" So Taz," the interviewer was already grinning because Taz's colleagues had always teased him a little during the interview because he was always talking about his girlfriend.

" We've both known each other for a few years, and I know you've often said that you fall in love often and quickly, but it's been different for almost over a year, right?" The interviewer grinned as Taz's eyes began to light up.

" Yes, that's right, I met my wife for the rest of my life at a previous production," Taz smiled shyly as everyone around him made kissing noises.

" So it's more than serious,“ the interviewer looked at Taz, who took the time before answering to choose his words carefully.

" Well she's not just only my friend, she's my partner in crime, the mother of our future children. I can certainly imagine everything and so much more when it comes to our future,“ Taz breathed calmly as everyone around him heard what he was saying right now, because they simply didn't know him like that.

" I love to protecting her“ he continued, " but that doesn't mean she needs it, but y/n is my breath and my blood and I will protect that with my life if I have to.

" I know many people might see this as possessive, but I have a very protective instinct when it comes to the people I'm very close to and love very much," Taz smiled sheepishly as the interviewer nodded. " What are you like when you love, I hope it's not too personal as a question, how does she calls you,"the interviewer saw that Taz thought about it for a moment.

" Well I'm not this Energy Bunny 24/7, of course I love the adventure, you name it I do it, but when I'm with y/n I feel so relaxed with her and with her I can allow that. I can say that she doesn’t call me Taz, that‘s all I say about this topic," he smiled, as he continued, " I am also, I hope, very loving and caring towards her. I love spoiling y/n and cuddling with her a lot or goofing around, you know those typical insider jokes etc. We have little rituals and date nights, then we cook together or go out etc," Taz smiled as he thought about the last time both cooked together.

" I like to spoil my lady, it can also be little things, for example when we are out and about in the city, she sees something that I immediately notice makes her eyes shine, then I make a mental note of it and surprise her with it. It doesn't always have to be something expensive, often it's little love letters that I hide for her,“ Taz laughs quietly. " Than she’s bodyslamming me wild kissing and squealing because she found one of those letters. I also know that she’s learning Spanish, she wanted to surprise me with it, and this is something wich makes me falling for her even deeper, because she loves me as much as I do too. You know, she’s the perfect match for me,“ Taz‘s face turned red, as all around him starting their N‘awwwwww, and he took a deep breath.

The interviewer smiled soft, continued his work, as Taz heard a little *beep* wich showed that y/n wrote him on iMessage. Quickly he opened his phone.

" I love you Yas, you’re the man of my dreams, my best friend and only with you I will sail and conquer the world. I heard your interview baby, and words can’t describe, how proud i am of you and how much your love means to me. Can’t wait for your cooking tonight.

Te amo mucho 🫶🏻 "

Taz felt that his cheeks were glowing because, it was true, she was all he ever wanted and all he ever was looking and searching for, it was them against the world, and he couldn’t wait to go back home to show her his love too.

Petrus Gonsalvus

Petrus Gonsalvus was born in Tenerife in 1537. He was treated terribly by his parents who caged him like a wild animal and fed him raw meat because of his medical condition which is now know as hypertrichosis. Gonsalvus was covered from head to toe in thick, dark hair which made him famous during his lifetime. 

The French king, Henri ll heard about him as a child and had his doctor examine him. He discovered that despite his hair he was a boy like any other. The king was kind to Petrus and even got him a teacher so he could learn French and Latlin. Petrus went on to marry and have a family. Four of his seven children were also afflicted with hypertrichosis universalis and painted. His family became an object of medical inquiry by Ulisse Aldrovandi among others. Despite living and acting as a nobleman, Gonsalvus and his hairy children were not considered fully human in the eyes of their contemporaries. Gonsalvus eventually settled in Italy with his wife. The last known record of him is from 1617, when he was listed among those who had attended his grandson's christening.

 It is believed that marriage between Petrus Gonsalvus and Lady Catherine may have partially inspired the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast.

Okay so I really just want to talk about songs I think could be great additions to when/if we get our long awaited benophie season! You can find the whole playlist here!

Happier Than Ever: I saw CVD really wanted a Billie song and this could be the one! I would actually choose the first part of the song as the tone is lighter and more of the show’s vibe even thought the second part of the song is more popular. This song represents how Sophie feels towards Araminta; I imagine this plays while Araminta is bossing Sophie around and we see her doing chores all over the house being miserable. We’d see Sophie making faces at Araminta and being sneaky too!

Deja Vu: Another artist CVD wanted was Olivia Rodrigo. While the song doesn’t directly apply to benophie, I think the just the saying “Deja Vu” would be a great play on how Benedict feels when he’s with Sophie. Methods: Multicenter observational study of 196 patients with GCA and involvement of the aorta and/or its main branches treated with TCZ. GCA was diagnosed by: a) ACR criteria, and/or b) biopsy of the temporal artery, and/or c) imaging techniques. The presence of aortitis was performed using imaging techniques, mainly PET and angio-MRI. Maintained remission was considered according to EULAR definitions1 . Results: The main characteristics of the 196 patients were shown in the table. Polymyalgia rheumatica, constitutional syndrome and headache were the most frequent clinical manifestations at the start of TCZ. Six months after starting TCZ, 20% of patients achieved a sustained remission, which gradually increased progressively (FIGURE). A steroid-sparing effect was observed from month 1 of TCZ initiation (FIGURE). They were observed relevant adverse effects in 12 per 100 patient-years, with serious infections documented in 4.8 per 100 patient-years.
