When Ichiro Mihara said "Having children isn't all there is to life, and its not the only reason for loving someone. Happiness comes in different forms and different ways" and Freya asks Elda "What is Happiness?" and Kohaku explains how Kohaku wants to stay by Shuuichirou's side even if Shuuichirou decided not to love Kohaku "because I'm sure that Shuuichirou will become my {Special Person} Again" but then Kohaku says "If that person's happiness is not to live with you, though it's sad and hard, but, thats certainly better than that person not being happy" and then explains how those feelings are contained "right {here}" in the heart and then then Shuuichirou 5th(??) says "I'm sure an angel's wish {for Happiness} would be granted" and then Chii says Chii's 'happiness' is with Hideki, even if Hideki cannot ever have penetrative sex with Chii, and then Tomoyo says "The greatest happiness for me is to let the person I most like have the most happiness" about Sakura, who is realizing Sakura's own love for Xiaolang, and then Hideki also said "I don't love Chii because 'I wanted' to 'make love' to {Chii}. 'I wanted' to 'make love' to {have sex with} Chii because I love {Chii}." And then Chitose wrote a whole picture book about it, a "fairy tale" Chitose wrote "in the hope that all precious children could find happiness" and Zima asked Dita "but if {they} don't have a soul, what then?" and then Kobato realized Kobato's happiness was Fujimoto anyway and then wished to live together with Fujimoto and then Haruka Domeki recounts the {Chou no Yume} or "Butterfly's Dream" story and hinted of a 'someone' totally not Watanuki "Maybe the man I am now is a dream that a butterfly is having" and then Domeki says to Watanuki "but the one Kohane cares about most is you" and then Yuuko says "Domeki just didn't want you {Watanuki} to disappear forever" and then Domeki says "There are things I care about" to Watanuki with a very pointed stare and then Watanuki is realizing "I'll do whatever I can because I want to be here" and then Yuuko says "My wish is for you {Watanuki} to go on existing. That's all I want", A.K.A, Yuuko's happiness and then Sakura asks "What is Happiness {to You?}" to "Cristaux" {"Kaito"} who is trapped in the form of a dragon, a non-human being and then the butterfly obi-wearing, definitely not a dream!Yuuko tells Watanuki "You are human, just like {Xiaolang}/{Tsubasa}" after Watanuki asks in despair "Am I human?" because Watanuki realized Watanuki only ever 'met' "this shop's customers, the dead, and the spirits" and then butterfly obi Yuuko responded "No, this is Not a Dream" and then the Zashiki Warashi's look-alike 'human' shop customer exclaimed to Watanuki, "In the dream, there's also, with a buttefly obi, an extraordinarily beautiful {person} with long hair!!" "{They're trying to kill me!!}" and then Ichiro Mihara helpfully added "Even if a {combination}/{of people}, looks a bit 'odd' on the outside... they can still be happy on the inside." and then

(After Koushiro initially seems to spend most of the morning/day in the park, before Sora arrives, talking about her Mom/getting home) “Koushiro-kun, were you ok?” (Likely Implication: “at home?”) - Sora “My house, is, um...” - Koushiro - he notably trails off before he can finish the sentence (they’re next distracted by the ongoing crisis)

- in the 4th ending theme, we see shots of the kids at their homes; Koushiro can notably be seen in a Japanese apartment-styled bathroom.

“Some sort of pain that can only be understood by the ones LEFT BEHIND. In people and Digimon too.” “...Koushiro-han?...” - Kabuterimon, clearly concerned tone “Oh... No, it’s nothing.” - Koushiro immediately deflecting

Original Poster’s [Mine] Commentary:

Koushiro + HIDING THINGS.

(He also did this IN Adventure...): {Japanese version}:

“Do you have interest in WHO you are, Koushiro-han?” - Tentomon, in Adv Ep #5, curiously just before Koushiro next slips into flashback-mode, revealing to the viewers his ADOPTION backstory. (A similar sequence happens at the beginning of Adventure Episode #31, when he talks to Tentomon, then completely having ZONED OUT) [not having revealed ANYTHING about his flashbacks/family situation to Tentomon yet.]:

- Koushiro in Adv Episode 31, realizing he worried his parents while keeping secrets:

“I wish that Koushiro would act more spoiled and unreasonable

instead of always keeping it INSIDE

like a GOOD BOY.”

- Mrs. Izumi, to Mr. Izumi, worriedly, in her concern

“Don’t you THINK SO?”

“...I’m sorry for worrying you.” - Koushiro, thinking to himself, looking ashamed
