Can someone please tell me who Koroit from Dreamswap is? Is he like a counterpart of DS Blue? Or is he Blue-? I'm so confused D:

Fallen Angel (I)
Is it a surprise for anyone that I’m beginning a new series when I have tons waiting to be updated?
Anyone, this one is about a corrupted Dream one and most things in that series do not match with what Kai has written previously about it, do not come for my head about that please.
This is mostly Drueswap centric because I have issues.
***
Previous part — Next part
***
Warnings: Koroit. She’s a warning by herself.
Synopsis: “I would like to… make a deal with you.” She made a pause between the two parts, seemingly taking pleasure in making Blue wait. “It should be in your abilities, I would even dare say it would be mere child’s play for you. Will you do me this favor?”
Telling her to fuck off had never seemed so great up until now.
“Do I have a choice?” He knew the answer to that already, but he couldn’t help but ask anyways.
Her smile widened.
“No.” Her voice changed to match Dream’s. “Though if I were you, I would tell me the answer I want to hear, for your own safety.” Blue did not like what that use of voice might indicate but he had to listen anyway if he didn’t want to find himself in a similar situation to a few years prior.

Helping whoever that “Obsidian” was (he knew who it was) had never been part of Blue’s plans. He had no interest in adding things to his list of illegal actions, which was already pretty big considering these odd jobs here and there to make ends meet before he had found his yoga teacher job, and helping a criminal out wasn’t a great source of entertainment.
Besides, dealing with all those violent (for the most part) people has always been more of Dream’s thing.
Of course, that was if he had a say in it.
Koroit had never been someone that Blue held in high regard, she was too odd, too knowledgeable about his weaknesses, and too able to threaten him with those same weaknesses. Blue hated not being in control of what he did, mainly and despised having anyone but himself know about those demons of the past.
And he hated, even more, the way she looked at him on that specific day, an evil smirk stretching from ear to ear across her face. Her eyes were glinting with malice as she greeted him with a fake cheerful voice.
Her presence alone was a warning sign but today, he felt particularly on guard.
“What are you doing here?” He said, choosing to ignore her greeting. Though he was careful not to sound angry or frustrated, only God knows what this woman would do if angered.
She didn’t seem offended by the lack of manners from the other and her smile widened, revealing her teeth. If Blue had to describe how a witch would look from his perspective, Koroit would have been the perfect model right now.
“Pleasure to see you too, Blue.” The emphasis on his name had the goal to remind him she knew his real identity. He wasn’t an idiot, he knew that she was aware already because of how obvious she had made it in the past. Though, even if he was expecting that, he couldn’t help but mentally wince.

He was forcefully taken to the security room where two guards have been knocked out unceremoniously. Or at least, he hoped so. He didn’t quite want to know if they were dead. Koroit then motioned for him to sit down on one of the chairs facing the lit-up screens, playfully telling him that ladies shall sit first (haha).
He reluctantly sat down and instead of taking the chair next to him, Koroit chose to stay up, her arms leaning on the back of Blue’s chair. He felt the chair tipping and the uneasy feeling in his chest grew. Was she oppressing him on purpose? Knowing her, that was very possible.
“Okay, those are camera screens, lovely, but what do you want me to do exactly?” Blue, of course, knew what Koroit wanted but he wished to delay this moment as much as he possibly could. He didn’t want to do this, especially when he had the feeling that whatever Koroit was planning had something to do with Dream.
“I’m sure that you’re smart enough to have guessed what I’m expecting from you, love.” Blue shuddered, letting out a shaky breath. If he was uncomfortable earlier, he was just terrified now.
“Please stop talking with his voice.” It just made him feel even more guilty about what he would be forced to do soon. The fact that the winged man had appeared on the screen when Koroit started talking made it all worse. If he could, he would have run straight to Dream and taken him somewhere else. It didn’t matter where, as long as it was far.
But of course, that wasn’t possible. Especially not with a criminal standing right behind him and definitely having fun messing with him by ordering him around with his lover’s voice.
“Why? Don’t you love that voice?” Blue didn’t even need to turn around to picture the wicked grin that was most likely stretching her lips. “You’re the one who keeps complimenting it at every opportunity.”
“Yeah, when its owner is using it.” His eyes were stuck watching Dream’s movements through the screen. He was talking to Finch, eyeing his prisoner in the corner.
“What, are you saying that I’m giving you the creeps?” A chuckle, Blue normally loved hearing Dream laugh but that wasn’t Dream. Plus, that laugh had nothing attractive about it, it only made chills go down his spine. “I’m hurt Blue, here I was thinking that we were starting to get along.”
“I can’t focus if you’re doing this.” He hoped that Koroit couldn’t see his trembling hands. If she did, she wasn’t commenting on it.
Dream’s hum rang in his ear. He felt like Dream’s figure was starting to grow bigger on the screen.
“Fine.” He did not like that voice either but at least she wasn’t butchering Dream’s voice anymore, that was a start. “Enough chit-chat, turn the cameras off.”
Blue’s hands hovered over the mouse. “All?”
“What do you think?”
Well, he supposed that answer was clear enough. He took one last glance at Dream leaving the cell and walking out, mentally whispering an apology, before the screens went black.
“Great job!” Koroit clapped her hands, finally bringing her arms back to her side. “Now we can begin the second part of the operation!”
In all these years out of his universe, Blue had never felt the overwhelming weight of guilt crashing down onto his shoulders that heavily before.
***
A few hours later, both Obsidian and Dream were reported missing. The majority of the population had been absolutely distraught at the news and multiple research parties had been sent to try and find where the leader of JR had been taken to. Because while evidence lacked to point to an abduction, the fact the popular figure of an angel had vanished without a trace could only tell one thing.
Blue had an idea of where Dream was being kept and what was probably being done to him at the moment (just thinking about it made him want to throw up, maybe sob). He would have happily delivered all that information to Dream’s team if not for the fact he himself had been abducted.
Well, sort of.
Blue never thought he would one day find himself tied up to a chair. In his own house.
The ropes were really starting to burn his wrists and he was going crazy stuck there in silence. Alora did try to help him out by picking a fight with his ties (God bless his bird) but Koroit soon found out about it and locked Alora in their cage in another room so he couldn’t communicate with them.
Blue had doubts but he hoped Koroit was feeding it. Alora was a smart bird but intelligence didn’t and couldn’t fight against starvation. He had gotten attached to that bird (not the only winged creature he did) and he would be devastated if he lost them like that.
He shook his head, there were more important things to think about right now. For example, how the hell was he going to get out of there? These past few days he had been too disturbed about what his (forced) actions had caused that his brain was unable to think of an escape plan, especially when Koroit would just come into his room and threaten him some more, as if he wasn’t upset enough about the situation.
But he couldn’t let his emotions get in the way at the moment, he had to get out of there and help Dream out too, who knows how much he was able to take before he ultimately died. The thought made him panic slightly but he forced the emotion down his throat. Not the time.
Think.
Deep breaths.
Okay, so his wrists were tied up and the rope was thick enough that he wouldn’t be able to cut it with his nails. His feet however weren’t attached.
Well, it was time to put his yoga lessons to the test.
***
“BLUE, COME BACK HERE YOU BASTARD.” A zap echoed and Blue narrowly managed to dodge it. At this very moment, Blue was extremely grateful for the existence of adrenaline because if it wasn’t a thing, he genuinely wouldn’t have been able to sprint so fast for so long.
He had only a short time window to act before Koroit would eventually catch up to him and he doesn’t doubt that the consequences wouldn’t be pleasant. Plus, as much as adrenaline helped, he couldn’t keep running forever.
A rip formed in the air and Blue didn’t hesitate before jumping inside of it.

Amidst all this chaos, the meme squad was peacefully beating each other up… in Smash Bros.
“FUCK YOU NIGHTMARE” Cross screamed as the game over screen appeared, almost ragingly throwing the console he had stolen a few days prior. Thus, the squad had been focused on playing this game, not leaving for a while which had spared them of the absolute chaos that was happening outside.
Of course, that wasn’t gonna last long.
“Don’t start screaming at me, oreo.” Nightmare smirked at seeing the other’s frustration. “You just suck at this game.” Cross sent him a death glare and chose to go sulking in a corner for the time being.
Nightmare sighed and looked at the screen before turning around and staring at his other friend, sitting at the table a few meters away and sipping on some coffee. “Yo Error.” The latter perked up at the name, now staring back. “You wanna play against me?”
Error diverted his eyes before humming in thought. Finally, he put his steaming cup on the table. “Alright bet, ready to get beaten?”
“That’s if you manage to hit me, loser.” Nightmare patted the empty spot next to him because of Cross’s retreat and just as Error was about to reach for the console on the table, a loud crash echoed throughout the entire house.
Cross stood up abruptly, his weapon already in hands and eyes scanning the area. Nightmare flinched, almost dropping what he was holding. Error stood up as well and looked around, searching for the origin of the noise.
“What the hell was that?” Nightmare asked, also summoning his staff.
Cross opened his mouth but before he could, a blue figure crashed into the room, out of breath. Error would have probably yelled at him to go away if not for the fact he had noticed the rope burns on his wrists.
The other two were stunned, clueless on what the hell they were supposed to say or do. At least he wasn’t ratting them out? They didn’t see any JR officers following the other.
His breaths were so irregular that the three of them were pretty sure he was going to pass out here and either but thanks to an unknown miracle, he was still able to wheeze out some words before he fell to his knees in front of them. “Dream… Corrupts… Torture.”
Nightmare was the first one to process his words and anxiety blossomed in his chest as he pretty much jumped at the man, gripping his shoulders. “What the fuck do you mean torture? What does Dream have to do with that? Who the hell are those corrupts you speak of?”
He was tempted to ask more questions but Cross put his hand to his shoulders, halting the thought for a moment.
“Dude, wait.” He gestured to Blue who was still struggling to breath. “Give him some time to remember where his lungs are and how they function. Then, we can ask him what’s going on.”
Nightmare clicked his tongue but he seemed to listen anyway, having stopped shaking Blue like a tree. Error had retreated to another corner of the room, uncomfortable with Blue’s presence but he was quite curious on what this was all about and quite worried too. He didn’t think Blue was the type to try and trick them into going to the Justice Reigns Headquarters to be captured but with him, you never knew.
If what he said was real though, he had another reason to worry.
He turned his gaze to Nightmare’s impatient one.
Quite an important one too.

sometimes writing redemption arc is just 600 straight words of me drooling over my favorite rock of the week via a Tim POV. is it weird I’ve done it two chapters in a row? maybe. do I have a deep seated love for pretty stones I can’t afford? definitely
