Hey, Knight, I have a serious question for you: Are you fucking illiterate or something?

Okay, looking through the notes, I can’t let this go.

Soku, You JUST described what you do.

Soku made a grand total of two posts in this chain. You can find both of them here. One of them is an actual explanation on why Savage’s post is stupid, the other is him simply saying ‘eh’ in reply to Xenodweeb.

“Instead of making the White Fang this way, do it this way that justifies my political beliefs because I deserve validation.

1. That had never come up in that chain at all, Soku pointed to utilizing the school setting as an example.

2. It has nothing to do with his political believes, it has everything to do with putting fucking effort into a point of your show! How is pointing out that a show displaying an extremely black and white stance on a real world issue that is excessively grey a political stance?

3. If your talking about what Xenodweeb said, allow me to simplify it for you: They hyped up a character, only to kill her off not five minutes later. Even if we ignore her skin color, that’s still incredibly stupid. And it’s made worse with her skin color. Even then, there’s a grand total of twelve named dark skin characters in a cast of over 70 characters. Five of them are villains, the rest are unimportant. Seriously, what does any black character, who isn’t Emerald, Ilia, or the fox brothers contribute to the plot? And aside from the guy based off an Achievement Hunter joke and the guy from the team they only remembered half the members of, I bet you and the rest of the fandom don’t even remember they exist.

Also: Listen to me and only people like me because I deserve to be solely pandered to while you don’t deserve a say in your own show.”

First of all, is Savage a member of CRWBY? Is Savage one of the lead writers? Is Savage even a Rooster Teeth employee? You and your little posse constantly remind us that RWBY isn’t our show, yet whenever it’s convenient, it’s your show.

Secondly, that’s your argument, not ours. You constantly pride your opinions above everyone else’s, from people with experience with the subject they’re talking about, to people who have researched the subject their talking about, to scene analysis, to fucking shit posts. And you’ve done this over on Deviantart, where there is no RWDE tag, and was just people criticizing your precious little show. The RWDE tag was made so that the main RWBY tag wouldn’t need to read through all of our posts. We’re trying to keep our opinions away from you jack asses, and this is the thanks we get? You know what, screw it, this is going in the main tag.

I just boiled down your entire collection of RWDE posts down into this because THIS is how you act each time:

Only your worldview (even if it’s blatantly wrong and fucking stupid) deserves to be seen and only YOUR iteration) deserves to eb seen and only people like you get to have media in their tastes.

Mirrors are a rare thing in your house, aren’t they?

Okay, that was a little too fast, let me slow it down for you: Mirrors are pieces of shiny glass you look at to see yourself.

Even then, what are you judging this on? The fact that people complained about plot holes, unfortunate implications, terrible execution, wasted potential, a side character steeling the spotlight? That’s not a matter of taste, that’s a matter of desiring quality. People would be complaining about RWBY’s flaws even if RWDE never existed, just look at how the anime reviewing community treated Sword Art Online.

Everything about RWBY must conform to what you think you deserve, regardless of fucking quality or what the Writer’s want to do or why other people like RWBY.

Yes, because a consistent plot, stable world building, and an understanding of what it’s doing is completely subjective.

RWBY’s quality is objectively terrible; it’s full of plot holes, we get more development for the side characters than we do the main characters, and the world building is excessively muddled. It also has a bad habit of flat out lying to its audience and constantly ignores the easier solutions. And with how many details are missed between the writers and animators, I’m left with the impression that the production of this show is a big game of telephone.

Calling RT sexist, racist and homophobic is not criticism.

Jaune gets away with, and is rewarded for something that Yang is demonized for. That is sexism and criticism.

RT constantly portrays the White Fang, who were left with little other option than to become a violent group like many real world minorities, are treated as completely evil with no redeeming qualities. And then there’s the count of black characters in the show an their importance to it. That’s racist and criticism.

It took RT five years to reveal an LGBT character, after years of excuses that for some reason never applied to straight pairings. That’s homophobic and criticism.

Do you read selectively or something? We’ve explained several times over how one could get these impressions. Just because you plug your ears and shout, ‘LALALALALA I’M NOT LISTENING!’ doesn’t mean the evidence stops existing.

Lying about the show is not criticism.

Knight, the only people who have ever lied about RWBY is you. We have backed up our claims with explanations, comparisons, examples. You have changed evidence to work with your conclusion instead of changing your conclusion to work with evidence. You’ve flat out admitted to doing that, yet you still act like we’re in the wrong. Why can you get away with something like that, but we constantly get demonized for you’re lies?!

Spreading controversy like a manwhore with STD is not criticism.

You really don’t understand how criticism works, especially for a show this popular, do you?

Okay, even ignoring the fact that that’s a load of bull, that’s all you do. Every time there’s a new RWDE post, you jump to the front lines to start a flame war.

You do not criticize, you complain.

My god, it’s almost as if that was the basis for the RWDE tag in the first place!.. How do you breath? You can’t wrap your head around this simple concept, yet you still haven’t suffocated yet? How does that work?

People HAVE refuted you:

I’ve had to have done it at least fifty times.

First of all, you’ve had way more chats with people in the RWDE tag than just fifty. If your track record is so bad, why is your ego so huge?

Second of all, where exactly? Was it here, where Delvin asks you for evidence of what you’re accusing him of, and then you ran off? Was it here, where Delvin throws every one of your notions back at you in the end? Was it here, where Dudeblade explains why you think it’s wrong to compare RWBY to other shows based on IMDB scores, before doing just that with shows with lower scores than RWBY? Was it here, where Lycanheiress took everything you said and utterly destroyed it? Was it this one here, where a transgender lesbian explains homophobia to you, and why people accuse you of being homophobic? Or was it here, where Xenodweeb boiled all of your stupid notions down to the basic level to show why they’re wrong?

Thirdly, you’ve had to do it? Did we make you? Is Rooster Teeth paying you to paint their fanbase in a negative light? Are they holding a gun to your head as you type this out? Are they threatening your family? Is the RWDE tag doing that? Did anyone even ask? I’ve already explained this to you, KKKoB, no one but you is making you write these. You chose to do this.

Fourthly, for every one time you’ve attempted to debunk us, we’ve debunked you ten time over.

You just ignore them, block them or throw variations of the word “bigot” at them so you can disregard it

You mean like you did with Delvin?

You’re like that child who keeps changing the rules to make himself invincible because they suck at the game.

You mean like you did with Lycanheiress when you guys were arguing the shows focus on Jaune. Also, when did we change the rules? I’m pretty sure we’ve kept things pretty damn consistent in all of our debates with you.

And as for YOU, Xenodweeb,

I don’t wanna hear YOU try to talk about nuances when, looking at your entire conversation on this post (https://savageoppressme.tumblr.com/post/169718979263/xenodweeb-savageoppressme-xenodweeb), you look at everything in Black and White.

Knight, cursory glances tell us why you’re full of bull. Also, who do you think I’m going to believe, the guy who admitted to stalking and harassing people who blocked him, constantly acts as the exception to all of the rules he lays out, and almost drove someone on Deviantart to suicide, for Xenodweeb, who has, at worst, criticized RWBY.

Also, you’re one to talk about seeing things in black and white: You view the RWDE tag as an irredeemable evil that must be purged no matter what each individual blog has done and yourself as the one true fan of RWBY. What you’re asking for isn’t that we try to look past RWBY’s flaws, your asking for blind devotion to the all mighty Rooster Teeth.

Skipping a bit, because I’ve already established why the next few lines are bunk a few paragraphs back.

To you, “Nuance” does not mean “subtle differences in meaning or expression.” No, it means “my fucking view” without even taking the time to consider that maybe, just maybe, you are wrong and your blind.

How can someone be so in love with the sound of their own voice yet never hear what they’re saying? Knight, you almost drove someone to suicide because you couldn’t handle the idea that they had a different view then you did. You aren’t one to talk.

Fuck, there is a reason why I blacklisted the RWDE tag:

I feel sorry that people call you a Nazi now, at least those guys have some brains. Retards, homophobes, racist, sexists, pedophiles, none of them deserve to be compared to you. The FNDM would be disgusted if they saw you, hell, Rooster Teeth would be disgusted. It’s a good thing Monty’s dead, because if he saw you, he’d jump right back into his grave! Basha’s eyes widened.

“Gelbėtojais?!” Basha asked. Meilė and Ramybė pulled back their cloaks and reveled their own Family Crests.

Basha growled and ran over to the sisters. Meilė moved her arm. Ale from her mug moved to her will, creating a whip.

The whip wrapped around Basha’s leg. He froze in place.

“Unh! Ooh,” Basha said as Meilė slowly lifted the whip, lifting Basha’s leg as well. “Ooh, oh, whoa!” Basha fell to the floor as Meilė let the whip fall. Ramybė smirked.

“Nice one, Sister.” She complimented. Meilė smiled and looked at her sister.

“Oi!” The bartender shouted, running at the two. Trevor, Meilė and Ramybė moved around, either dodging or throwing punches at the oncoming people.

“Oh that’s nothing!” Meilė said, dodging a punch coming from Kob. “You should see me when I go all out!” She said. Ramybė chuckled. She ran over and punched a man with buck teeth who was about to attack her sister from behind.

“Both Trevor and I have seen you when you go all out!” She said. Ramybė didn’t use her powers because she didn’t want to set the tavern on fire or have holes going through the floors. True the bartender and patrons were being assholes, but this tavern was probably the only way the bartender made money. She didn’t want to take that away from him, no matter how much she didn’t like him.

“It’s fucking terrifying!” Trevor said. As they were moving around, they kept stepping on Basha’s face. “Fucking face down here!” Basha shouted. No one seemed to care. Trevor glared at the men.

“That's how you want it?” He asked. Ramybė and Meilė stood by the man’s side. “Listen. Ramybė, Meilė and I used to fight fucking vampires.” He said. Meilė and Ramybė moved out of the way as the man with the buckteeth rushed over and punched Trevor in the face. “Unh!” Trevor grunted. The man held Trevor still from behind.

“Kick him!” The man shouted at Kob. Kob chuckled. He kicked Trevor right in the groin again. Trevor whimpered. Ramybė and Meilė winced.

“Ooh.” The said together.

“Would you please leave my testicles alone?” Trevor requested, his voice laced with pain. Meilė brought her hands up in a prayer position and closed her eyes.

“Rest in piece, Trevor’s testicles.” Meilė said. Ramybė chuckled. She loved her sister’s sense of humor. Trevor glared up at the two.

“Oh, ha ha, very funny, Meilė. Ugh!” Trevor headbutted the man behind him in the face. The man let go of him, grasping his nose in pain. Trevor glared at the men.

“I'm Trevor fucking Belmont,” Trevor said. Meilė and Ramybė stood next to him, taking on fighting stances.

“And we’re Ramybė and Meilė fucking Gelbėtojai.” The twins said together.

“And we've never lost a fight to man nor fucking beast.” Trevor said. Kob, who had been knocked down, tripped Trevor. Ramybė and Meilė moved out of the way. “Oh!” Trevor shouted as he fell. Kob laughed as he picked up a chair. Trevor looked up at the man with fear. “Oh, shit.” Trevor said. Meilė’s eyes widened.

“Trevor!” She shouted. She moved quickly, making air blow forward.

Trevor, Ramybė and Meilė walked out of the tavern. Trevor stumbled a bit. He sighed heavily before falling to his knees and vomiting. Meilė and Ramybė rushed over to the man. Meilė gently rubbed his back. Ramybė stood beside the two. Ever since they were little, Meilė and Trevor had always had a tight bond. While the three of them were best friends, Meilė and Trever were always close. When everything was right and normal with the world, Ramybė was slightly jealous of Meilė and Trevor’s relationship. She wanted someone who would be there for her and care for her like Trevor was with her sister. True, Meilė was always there for Ramybė, getting her out of trouble, but Ramybė wanted more. When the Belmonts and the Gelbėtojais were chased out of their ancestral homes, Ramybė realized that she didn’t have time to be jealous over other people’s relationships. All she needed to focus on was keeping her younger twin safe.

“Oh Christ.” Trevor groaned, wiping his mouth. Ramybė glared back at the tavern.

“Bastards.” Ramybė cursed. Meilė helped Trevor stand up. Trevor glared at the tavern as well.

“I hope you all bleed out. Through your arses! Mm, every last rat bastard one of you.” Trevor slurred. Meilė sighed.

“Alright, big guy, let’s get you to a nice tree that you can sleep under,” she said. She put one of Trevor’s arms around her neck, supporting his weight. She looked at Ramybė. “Sister,” Ramybė looked at her twin. “Care to help?” Meilė asked. Ramybė nodded. She walked over to Trevor’s other side and wrapped his other arm around her neck, helping distribute the weight between the two.

“I know I’m fucking drunk right now, but for what it’s worth, I missed you two, brats.” Trevor said. Meilė chuckled.

“We missed you to, stupid.” She said.

The next morning, Trevor woke to the sun greeting him. He groaned and opened his eyes. He looked to the side and saw Ramybė and Meilė. They were staring at the sunrise. Meilė looked behind her and smiled.

“Good morning, sleeping beauty.” She teased. Ramybė turned as well, smiling at the man. Trevor smirked.

“Oh ha ha. Come here you brats,” Trevor said. The twins got up and rushed over to him. Trevor pulled them into a hug, holding them close. Ramybė and Meilė nuzzled his chest as Trevor nuzzled their heads.

“We’ve missed you, Trevor.” Meilė whispered. Trevor smiled.

“I’ve missed you both, Ramybė, Meilė.” Trevor said quietly. The three pulled away. They turned and looked at the city. Ramybė sighed, placing her hand on her hip. “Bloody Gresit.” Trevor said.

“Last stop between us and starvation,” Ramybė said. “The next town's 40 bloody miles away.” She said. The sounds of screeching reached the ears of the three. Ramybė gasped and quickly covered the eyes of Meilė. A few of Dracula’s monsters were making their way out of Gresit. One held an infant in its mouth. Even though Meilė was the same age as Ramybė, 23, Ramybė and Trevor knew that Meilė hated seeing any children dead. It tore her heart out. Meilė held so much love for the people of Wallachia, even those who probably didn’t deserve her kindness. Once the monsters had moved on, Ramybė uncovered Meilė’s eyes. Meilė smiled at her sister in thanks. She looked back at the city and frowned.

“Here we go.” She said. Ramybė looked at her twin.

“Meilė, it would probably be best if we didn’t use our powers here. We don’t want to cause any unnecessary trouble.” She said. Meilė nodded in agreement.

“Good idea, Ramybė.” She said.

The three ex-Monster Fighters made their way to the front gates of the city. There was a barricade. Trevor looked at it. “Hmm. No one's getting in, and no one's getting out.” Trevor said. He looked at his companions. Meilė held her hand out to the side.

“Pretty sure they wouldn't do that just to deny us breakfast.” She said.

“Hmm.” Ramybė put her hand to her chin in thought, looking around for some other way that she, her sister and her best friend could get into the city. She noticed a sewer pipe. The entrance looked wide enough for all three of them to fit. “What about there?” She asked, pointing to the sewer pipe. Trevor and Meilė looked to where the woman was pointing. The two looked at her and frowned. Ramybė shrugged her shoulders.

“What? I don’t see either of you coming up with any ideas to get us into the city and find breakfast.” She said. Trevor sighed, closing his eyes and rubbing the back of his neck.

“Alright, let’s go.” He said. The three walked towards the sewer, but stopped when they saw bubbles of boiling water. Trevor held his hand out, letting the twins know to stop. “I’ll go first.” He said. He lifted his cloak up and crossed a log, almost falling in. “Whoa.” He quickly made his way to a fallen cross before making it to the side. Meilė wrapped one arm around Ramybė’s waist and bent her wrist, flattening her hand. Wind formed under her hand, allowing her and her sister to make it across the water without almost falling in. Ramybė extended her foot and grabbed onto Trevor’s hand with her own. He helped her onto the ledge before turning to Meilė. Meilė relaxed her wrist and allowed herself to drop. Trevor quickly caught her by the waist, pulling her to him. Meilė placed her hands on Trevor’s chest. He blushed slightly at how close they were. The blush, however, went away when he sighed and flicked Meilė on the forehead. “Can you manage to not give your sister and I a heart attack for one second?” He asked. Meilė flinched a little, but chuckled nonetheless.

“What? You caught me, didn’t you?” She asked. Trevor chuckled and rolled his eyes. He helped her move behind him. Trevor peaked his head in and quickly moved out of the way as brown, steaming liquid came flowing out of the pipe. Ramybė gasped and quickly pulled Meilė to her. Trevor groaned in disgust.

“God forbid you should warn anyone before emptying your fucking shit pots.” Trevor said. The twins chuckled. Trevor hopped into the pipe, gathering the ends of his cloak around his arms and moving his feet to either side of the pipe, avoiding the slime that trickled down the middle. Meilė and Ramybė went after him, following his example.

“Never thought Meilė and I would be so hungry we'd climb a shit pipe in pursuit of breakfast.” Ramybė said. Meilė chuckled.

“Me neither, Sister.” She said. The three exited the shit pipe and saw a guard standing there, watching over the pipe. His back was turned. Trevor turned to the two and pressed his finger to his lips. The twins nodded. Trevor pulled out his dagger and made his way to the guard. He then noticed that the guard was asleep. Trevor chuckled and gave the all clear for the twins to continue on. The made their way from a barrel to a ledge that was wide enough for all three of them to sit and watch the destroyed city from afar. The hunger getting to them, they made their way into the city, walking up to a vendor who was selling some meat.

“What will one coin buy me?” Trevor asked, holding up a coin.

“And us?” Ramybė asked, doing the same so the vendor could see it. The woman was polishing her knife. “Bit of dried goat. Haven't seen you three before.” She said, turning to them. “We’re just passing through. I'll take it, thanks.” Trevor said. Ramybė nodded.

“Same here.” She said. “You’ll want to pass through quicker.” The woman said, cutting off two pieces of dried goat. Trevor nodded. “Yeah, I guess you've got some troubles here.” He said.

“Is there a defense effort?” Meilė asked.

“Don't need it,” the woman said, handing Trevor and Ramybė the dried goat.“We got a tribe of Speakers in the city. Once we've done what needs to be done, the demons will leave us alone.” She said. Meilė hummed. Something about what the woman said didn’t seem right to Meilė.

“Well, anyway, thank you for the meat.” She said, deciding against saying anything. The three walked off. Ramybė tore the meat in half, handing one half to Meilė.

“I want to ask around, gather some information.” He said. Meilė looked at the man.

“Information about what?” She asked, taking a bite of the meat.

“Anything. Mostly about the Speakers.” He said. Ramybė’s eyebrow rose in interest. She to was curious about the Speakers.

They did just that. A lot of the towns people gave them different bits of information.

“There's an old story, the Sleeping Soldier,” a vendor said. Ramybė’s eyebrow rose in interest.

“Oh?” She asked, prompting the man to continue.

“They say he was a great hero hundreds of years ago, but now he sleeps under the catacombs.” The man said. Meilė frowned.

“Hmm, what for?” She asked. “To wait until he's needed again, of course. I think he'll come back.” The man said. Trevor smiled slightly. “Really?” He asked. The man nodded.

“Oh, yes, but keep it quiet. The new Bishop hates the Old Wisdom,” the man said. Meilė narrowed her eyes. She hated the church for what they did to their family as well as Trevor’s family. “Dracula's monsters come at night, but the Bishop's men come in the middle of the day. You know what I mean?” The man asked. Clearly, he didn’t necessarily like the Bishop or the Bishop’s men either.

“You know what I think? I think the Speakers make the Sleeping Soldier ill.” A young blonde girl said. Ramybė frowned.

‘Of course they would blame people who believed differently than they did for their problems.’ She thought. “We have no defenses, so of course Dracula's bastards come over the wall every night.” The girl said. One man made Ramybė and Meilė uncomfortable.

“The Bishop will sort things out.” The man said. His eyes held violence and corruption. Most likely caused by the lies the Bishop and his men were spreading. “This city has, not to put too fine a point on it, gone to hell. If the others will just do as he says when he tells us to do it, then all will be in order.” The man said.

Trevor, Ramybė and Meilė walked down an alleyway when they saw an elderly Speaker being lead by two of the Bishop’s Men. One of the men shoved the elder. Meilė wanted to whirl around and shout at the man, but Ramybė placed her hand on her twin’s shoulder, telling her not to do anything rash. Trevor stopped a few feet away from the men, prompting the twins to do the same.

“I warned you. You can't say I didn't warn you.” The first man said. He took a stave out of his cloak.

“You did not listen to me, sir.” The Speaker said. The man narrowed his eyes at the Speaker. “Are you talking back to me?” He asked. The Elder shook his head. “No, I'm merely talking to you. Anyone can see that we are not responsible for what befalls Gresit.” The Elder said. Meilė clenched her hands into fists. Trevor placed his hand on her shoulder. “No, keep walking.” He said quietly. Meilė took a deep breath in. She knew that Ramybė and Trevor were also unhappy at the situation. She wasn’t alone. “So, now I'm stupid? I work within the light of God Himself, but you can see things I can't with your magic?” The man asked. Meilė scoffed.

‘How stupid can this man be?’ She thought to herself. The Elder shook his head.

“There's no magic, sir. We are here to help, that's all.” The Elder said. The man got up into the Elder’s face.

“Speakers don't help. Speakers are tainted. You attract evil, and you and yours were told to be out of Gresit by sunset,” the man looked up at the rising sun. “And see? The sun is up.” The man gripped the Elder by the chin, making the Elder look up. The man rose his stave. “Take a good look at the sunrise, old man.” The man said. The Elder looked at the man. “Will killing an old man make you less scared of the dark?” The Elder asked. The man smirked evilly. “I don't know. Maybe it will just make me feel better.” The man said. Meilė glanced at Trevor.

“Trevor, please. We have to do something.” She whispered. Trevor sighed and turned around. He took his whip out. Ramybė and Meilė stood a few feet behind Trevor, knowing that even though the whip was meant to kill monsters, it could do some considerable damage to a human. Flicking his wrist, the whip shot out and struck the man’s stave, simultaneously cutting off the man’s index finger. The two Bishop’s men and the Elder looked at the three. Ramybė and Meilė walked over and stood by Trevor’s side, frowning at the men. The pain seemed to finally catch up with the man as he fell to the ground, groaning in pain, clutching at the stump where his finger used to be.

“Oh, hell. I'm sorry. I was trying to snatch the stave out of your hand. How's your finger?” Trevor asked, pointing to his intact index finger. Ramybė and Meilė chuckled. Even when faced with danger, Trever never really took things seriously. “What fucking finger?!” The man shouted. Ramybė smirked, placing her hand on her hip. “Now, now, that's no way for a man of the cloth to talk. Why don't you go and get that looked at?” Ramybė said. The man looked at his companion. “Kill the bastard!” He shouted, but then dawned a sick smile on his face. “But keep the girls. I want to save them for later.” He said. Trevor growled. He hated when people talked like that about his best friends. Especially Meilė. Meilė frowned. “Look, my friends and I don't like priests at the best of times. I mean, we really, really don't like priests. If you leave now, we'll say no more about it.” Trevor said. The man glared at his companion. “Kill him now!” The man shouted. Meilė smirked slightly. “Last warning. This will get nasty.” She said in a sing-song voice. The man’s companion pulled out a knife from his sleeve. “Indeed, sister. That's a thief's knife.” She said. The man rushed at Trevor. Trevor readied his whip. “Seriously? I'm out of practice, but I'm stone-cold sober. Someone will get hurt.” Trevor said, dodging the man’s attacks. Ramybė and Meilė took this chance to race to the Elder’s side, protecting him should either of the two men try to attack him again. Meilė looked back at the Elder.

“Sir, are you alright? Are you hurt?” She asked. The Elder shook his head.

“No, I am quite alright, thank you.” He said. A scream of pain caused the twins and the Elder to turn around. Ramybė and Meilė’s eyes widened. Trevor had sliced the man’s eye out with his whip. Trevor turned to the first man.

“Pick him up. Take him back to your church. Don't bother this man or his people again.” Trevor said. The man picked his buddy up and the two walked away. Ramybė looked at her best friend.

“Don’t you think that was little over board?” She asked. Trevor shrugged his shoulders.

“He had it comin’.” He said. Ramybė sighed and chuckled.

“That is true.” She said.

“The violence wasn't necessary, sir.” The Elder said. The twins and Trevor turned to look at him. The Elder chuckled. “But, it is appreciated. I am the elder of the Codrii Speakers.”

I feel like shit today. Piss poor mood bc i feel like my job is slowly hurting my health. I know my diet has been poor, I'm not eating enough calories. And i want to get a new job but there is SO. MUCH. IN. THE. WAY.

1. Im busy looking for someone to take the last room in my apartment, a fucking task that im sick to death of having to take responsibility for bc nobody else will

2. Once i finally have that resolved (which idek when the fuck it will be bc I'm the only one doing any damn thing about it) i have to figure out what jobs are even available

3. If the job is in person ill likely have to either find a way to or wait on access to a vaccine before i get to get the job

4. I have to find a job that will financially support me ideally keeping me about where i am now which is incredibly hard because

5. My resume is shit this is my longest job and it's not a career

6. i discovered yesterday im probably not even technically a "professional" bc my job is just considered "dumb labor"

7. I cannot escape - every time im job searching - the guilt of the degree i got and cannot use at all. Point to a job that would be interested in someone with a degree in art education but very little classroom experience bc they were working 2 jobs while in college to afford to finish college?

8. There is still so much i do not feel like i really understand about applying for jobs bc there is no standard and every hiring manager looks for random subjective bullshit. Cover letters are a joke, nobody has the same opinion on what makes a good resume, and interviews are just a test of how well you can fake it. Nobody is in the job who they were in the interview. I've interviewed people before, i know the truth. Also hello speaking for myself as well.

9. Lastly it's hard to look at leaving something that has been comfortable despite how unhealthy it is. First kob ive had for many years, that i had benefits, that i had a union. And a big name institute too. It was supposed to be like i got my foot in the door but it's not that simple. If you want into this place you gotta get your foot in the door while you're kissing asses of people you don't know. That aint me. I still don't know how i got here, all i can think is i was lucky.

I'm just genuinely scared for my health. I suspect my hairloss might be something other than just baldness. If I'm as bad at calorie intake as i suspect it may be due to that. Which is promising in some effect that perhaps ill get some hair back. But also concerning bc what if I don't get better? What if I'm stuck? What if i dont get around to getting help or can't get it up to help myself? Ive tried. It's complicated and hard. Idk if it counts as an eating disorder but i consider it as bad.

Plus on top of this, if i want help from a nutritionist guess what i need. Health insurance, like i have here. It's like i can only get help if I'm subjecting myself to getting hurt first. I hate this shit. I just want to be and feel better. I want my energy i want my hair i want to not be overweight when i am walking over 4miles a day - it just shouldn't be the case. It's so cyclical, like i dont have an appetite bc i haven't eaten bc i felt sick bc i didn't have an appetite so i didn't eat....

Can i just wear a camelback filled with applesauce and call it a day? Throw some vitamins in and see where that takes me.

Before this post goes on and on like my traditional long winded post do I wanted to say something.

I apologize.

Yeah surprised? You shouldn’t be I may disagree with your view but I’m not a monster and definitely no where near kob’s level of malice, venom and childishness and I hate to say this but I will defend myself, I disagree with that essement of me but I will also say you’re more than justified to be angry; now if you’ll indulge me, I’d like to elaborate on the apology for a bit.

I didn’t walk away happy with that post, it left a bitter taste in my mouth, again it wasn’t my intention to sound like I was attacking you and I can’t stress enough that me disliking rwby and being confused and disagreeing that it was phenomenal isn’t me attacking you or your point, I disagree with the quality the show has been upholding for several years, refusing to learn lessons, disrespecting fans, jarring jump cuts and so on.

So when I said I don’t understand nor see it as phenomenal, it wasn’t to make you feel inadequate for liking rwby and yeah I did say I had good taste and it was wrong of me to say that; it was a poor choice of words on my part.

And while I don’t think I deserve the chance I wanted to try rewording my disagreement on rwby in a kinder way, and if you don’t want to read that’s more than fair, that being said I’m hoping this can clear up any bad beef or at least my viewpoint.

This again and I stress this hard isn’t an attack on your enjoyment of the show, this is just a guy who grew up loving media stating why he thinks rwby volume 6 wasn’t good and why I feel Miles and Kerry should really focus on improvement.

I watched volume 6 with low expectations and yeah I was glad plot stuff was happening in the first few episodes, I was grateful to get out of the volume 5 house and off the volume 4 never ending roads, I was genuinely excited about maria’s fight and her weapons. I even expressed the rest of th volume can be bad and I can walk away happy with that in mind.

It was then with no effort from me I noticed the dip in quality from many different angles, it was evident that this volume was a fix it volume and yeah there may be some that say “well better late than never.” But I say too little too late, I’m not saying that if I prefered it not to be there but alot of these plot threads could have been wrapped up volumes prior. At least that seems to be the general consensus, and the problems not flaws constantly seemed to pile up, poor line delivery and writing, horrible animation, our “heros” are some of the worst sapient beings ever, watching a child get smacked, killing tons of faunus, no one saying shit when something that requires emotion pops up.

I mean all of ruby’s speeches were so inaccurate, my favorite one is when ruby states how far they got without adult help but she’s saying this while squating in an adult’s house, being led on this journey by two; one telling them to keep the lamp safe, going to another adult for help. This is all after they choose to agree to the dumbest plan out jaune’s mouth.

Then the mech fight which was upsetting for many reasons, I’ll spare you the long banter the literal death spiral the ship takes only for it to not have a scratch next episode ozpin or no still doesn’t explain the lack of damage, smoking and how it ruins tension.

I grew up loving books and video games (we couldn't afford tv early on) I fell in love with such amazing characters, worlds and their trinkets and creatures. Paper mario, Avatar, Mass effect, Dragon age, Final fantasy 6 & 9, Cowboy bebop, FMA and so on and all these things have amazing characters, stories, worlds and so on. things to invest me, characters I loved and hated for many good reasons, villians with great motivations, Heros with compelling stories, worlds with such love and care put into them.

Then last year it hit me, I was hoping rwby to these standards that are way beyond their reach, I eased up on them after that, as long as they can make the story or characters consistent I’d give them a pass, and yeah there’s many who saw my last train home post, but this was a earlier me, vol 6 was close to wrapping up, and there was a jarring jump cut three times in the same episode, adam’s reveal made me hate blake the only character besides the newly introduced maria and sun/neptune that I didn’t hate nor was ruined.

The adam vs yang fight while it used the monty files left kinda a bad taste in my mouth, like miles has been dishonest so many times it’s hard to believe when he’s genuine, kerry entice physical violence on the fans who don’t look at the supplemental material for the show, stuff they constantly retcon or contradict, it’s unfair to their fans and they seem to invalidate them every volume.

I’m always hoping miles and kerry will say something that will make them stop and realize how cruel they’re being not only to themselves but their own series, I know they can do better so it's a crying shame when they act this way.

There was also things I glossed over that were rushed and crammed in this volume solidifying it as a “fix it” volume but not only did alot of it weirdly complicate things it was rushed, before I could enjoy neo’s return, silver eyes came the very next episode, then jaune's sister came into existence, pyyrha’s statue that was a memorial for all the people at beacon? Was found by jaune and not her so called friend ruby, then after a spat with jaune oscar instantly forgives him and jaune learns nothing.

Don’t get me started how we were squating in one house to another.

Back on topic of why I...guess felt the need to tell anyone this. I recently watched the Steven universe finale and it cleared up, referenced and closed many small and big plot threads. And this series like it or not has been very consistent, enjoyable, had great music and characters. (lackluster fights but the character are pretty strong in the writing department) The finale blew me away, I felt “these characters deserve a happy ending, this show can end here and it be perfect.” And “I’d love more.” and these people work their hands to the bone on a smaller budget that miles and kerry take advantage of, employees they take advantage of and say they didn’t enjoy working for them, shane’s letter, miles insulting other better media without trying to fix his.

I’m not aiming this at you but I wanted to share some wise words that I favor alot from a wise man. “When you compliment or ignore the writing problems writing certain media make, you’re ignoring the work better writers put into their own work.” Those words stuck with me long ago, but I decided to ease up on ruby and gave it 4 episodes to at least connect two plot threads without stumbling, I let my love of media turn me vindictive and that’s not what media should do nor should I.

That being said my personal view on rwby is that it’s awful, there are so many better written media out there; and the writers have gone from ‘okay’ to venomous, entitled, backstabbing and dishonest people who don’t seem interested in improving.

So when you said it was phenomenal by brain concluded that you either missed the flaws or were maybe being paid to be positive and it was fucked up, wrong, look we may not agree on alot of things but we can agree on one thing.

I was rude, immatune, and hurtful and fuck that’s not who I am, I had to look at myself cause me explaining my issues with rwby helped me get past all the messed up static to get a clearly picture, I shouldn’t be asking this after what I did.

But I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me and if you don’t, fair.

But I hope my explanation helps clear things up if you even read it, and if you did read it, thanks for reading.

You know, for someone who supposedly watched Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid-

How is it I caught onto that Ilulu isn’t a fucking loli just at first appearance? Me, where the closest I’ve come is playing Dragonmaids.

So the first section is just the speaker setting up how she wanted to like the anime but apparently she got less and less enthusastic as the show expanded beyond Kobayashi and Tohru.

... Red flag. In my personal experience, this tends to taint a person’s view of a work and causes them to seek out problems with the work in question even when it goes beyond what a normal person or even what they themselves would do in other circumstances. So right away- I’m pretty damn skeptical.

We further go into the video and the person states that are an artist and they know what they are talking about. ... Okay, first off- You’re talking about coding as if it isn’t your internal projections (we’ll get to THAT later) so no, you don’t. Second, I don’t know if the artist thing is suppose to be connected to the ‘know what you are talking’ part but considering by the same logic a writer would know an abusive relationship in media...and Twilight exists- That’s bullshit. And third- why should anyone trust someone they likely never have watched before?

Next we get into ‘Coding in Media’. Here we have the person giving a definiton from the wikipedia article. I’ll copy paste the highlighted stuff:

“- a reader may initially interpret a set of signifiers as a literal representation, but clues may indicate a transformation into a metaphorical or allegorical interpretation diachronically “

“- i.e. acknowledging that there is sometimes an ideological quality to the coding system, determining levels of social acceptability, reflecting current attitudes and beliefs. “

However, I would like to point something out- This is from the ‘Discussion’ tab. Not the general part which she shows but doesn’t focus on. Here’s the definition she gives:

“Coding is a term used in media to refer to when the author wants to convey an aspect of a character to the audience but does not want to or isn’t allowed to explictedly state what that is.”

Here’s the article’s definition with an added definition of semiotics.

“ In semiotics *{the study of sign processes (semiosis), which are any activity, conduct, or process that involves signs, where a sign is defined as anything that communicates a meaning that is not the sign itself to the sign's interpreter} , a code is a set of conventions or sub-codes currently in use to communicate meaning.”

Here we start to see things crumble. Semiotics and by extension coding is inherently indirect. Meaning that there isn’t a defined or solid meaning. And what does that mean?

You can basically insert whatever the fuck you want into the ‘code’. Hell, you can even insert meaning into a code that DOES NOT EXIST.

The speaker does it herself in the coming examples.

Scar from Lion King is apparently ‘queer coded’ because he’s ‘effiminate and willowy’.

Jafar too since he wears ‘eyeliner’.

Ursula was ‘literally’ based off of a drag queen.

... Order-

Scar’s ‘effeminity’ is shown with him making a hand gesture...that is a sign of SARCASM. And his ‘willowiness’?

This is a normal feline body.

Jafar’s ‘eyeliner’? Common practice in Arab culture with men. (it’s called Kohl).

Ursula being based off a Drag Queen? Yeah...

“ Calling Divine (real name Harris Glenn Milstead) "the great actor from Baltimore", Musker revealed that one of The Little Mermaid's writers, Howard Ashman, knew Divine and had Rob Menkoff - one of the film's principal animators - to do "some drawings that were based on Divine".

"Even though it’s sort of disguised, it’s based on the character [of Divine]," he said."It just fit the character," agreed Clements. "She was outrageous, theatrical..." “

She’s based off a drag queen...because they happen to have the same personality. And thing is here, even if they are ‘queer coded’- Ressiannce Disney villains are made to be LIKEABLE and ENJOYABLE villains. Contrast this with say...Looney Toon caricatures. They’re meant to be mocked and disliked.

But going back to the Ursula thing- The speaker never actually proves how Ursula was based off a drag queen. She just says it with a picture. And considering that looking into it reveals the basis is a COMPLIMENT. This is relevant because either the person didn’t know this and shows they are just jumping to conclusions (considering what she is talking about- that’s NOT good) or she did know...and continued anyway. Says a lot when ‘shit research’ is the GOOD option.

But let’s strike at the heart. Why would these minor things (even drag queens are not inherently LGBT) be ‘queer coded’ on her eyes when the use of LGBT characteristics as negative are usually MUCH more blatant? Well it kind of has to do with how ‘coding’ works. See, how do you code something as complex as being LGBT? Well, we have a word for it already. A very well known word.

‘Stereotyping’

No really. The hand gesture Scar used is a stereotypical gay man gesture, gay men are stereotyped as being thinner, wearing makeup with men is stereotypically gay, drag queens are stereotyped as LGBT. The speaker is using stereotypes of LGBT people to determine of a character is ‘coded.’

Issue- Stereotyping assigns universal things to specific groups simply due to connotations, ignoring reality in the process. In reality, Scar’s gesture is one of sarcasm, condescension and sadism with his lithe figure being a connecting thread to the Hyenas, his mooks. In reality, Jafar is just an Arab man. In reality, drag queens are not inherently LGBT NOR is Ursula displaying any other traits associated with being LGBT.

If you wanna hear what I hear- replace every instance of ‘coding’ with ‘stereotyping.’

Also I find it hilarious that she goes on about how ‘not all coding is bad!’ when showing Steven Universe characters later on...as she ignores context with the Disney villains (and I suspect with Ilulu).

So she goes onto specifically ‘child coding’, using things like ‘small, naive ect.’ She also acknowledges that shorter women exist, using La Brava from MHA as an example, talking about how her figure is proportionally more like an adult than a child and how she fits into MHA’s style despite her face looking like a child’s apparently

Moving beyond the Kanna stuff (don’t care)- she talks about how Ilulu’s face looks like a child’s and how her height is proportional to Kana...similarly to how she mentioned La Brava. And talks her body? Non existent.

Why? Well, let me show you a full body picture of Ilulu without her loose shirt.

Here’s a picture of Kanna.

Notice something?

Ilulu has a thinner waist, a more pronounced buttocks and wider hips.

All things that indicate a more mature body than Kanna.

‘But KOB! We can’t actually tell what Kanna’s body type is like!’

Okay, here’s the chapter 100 cover-

Kanna’s body is clearly different from Ilulu. In fact, Ilulu more resembles Tohru, an ADULT.

And if you REALLY think Ilulu’s body type is out of the ordinary for dragon bodies in this manga-

No, no she really isn’t.

The speaker tries to say they ‘de-babified’ her in the anime with this image from the manga-

But you can tell from the way she’s drawn this isn’t normal and is likely a comedic moment.

And going back to coding- Ilulu has a job, something children CANNOT HAVE.

‘But she admitted that her face in the anime was more defined than Kanna’s, her eyes are still lower though!’

Yeah, here’s the thing-

Ilulu’s not an adult either. She’s a teenager. Of course she’s not the same as adults but she’s also not the same as a fucking CHILD.

‘B-but she admitted La Brava is also short but she’s still unquestionably an adult!”

And yet she ignores how Ilulu is, by the same metrics, not a child. She says Ilulu talks like a child. ... But doesn’t explain HOW with the season 2 trailer. In fact, her La Brava example can actually be seen as childish due to her high tone. Yes I can here the...inflections that are similar to Kanna but numerous anime have used it with non-prepubescent characters to denote immaturity.

And as the final nail in the coffin- Back in the coding section, she mentioned that authors do this because it might not be socially acceptable. Issue is, the manga has the adult Lucoa trying to seduce a child (which she never mentions or even alludes to which is surprising) so clearly, the author doesn’t feel uncomfortable with the idea so even the justification is bullshit.

All in all, this comes across as projecting her own interpretation of things onto the original work. Which DEEPLY pisses me off.

Care to explain to /swapauanon that Jaune did NOT murder Penny, which he seems so adamantly convinced happened?

I will do this but know that I will be keeping an eye on that blog in case you try using my words to attack them.

The thing about murder is that the technical definition (the act of killing another person with a malicious plan or forethought in mind and without a reason) and the connotation (killing another person with malicious intent and no provocation) is that it requires MALICE. Jaune did not maliciously kill Penny. He also doesn’t qualify for man slaughter since Jaune was ASKED by Penny to kill her so she can die on her own terms.

Jaune’s actions do not fit these things. Stop trying to force it.

Hm, easy one-

Tumblr, one of the testaments to mankind's ability to do so much and yet accomplish so little. How many changes has this site gone through that has done jackall? The color changes, the user interface changes, that one beta that seems to have died out, the fucking porn ban. How much shit has the staff pushed that got immediately undone by Xkit or just came and went?

Let's talk about that 'porn ban' though, even though calling it that would be a joke. What really happened was that some shit got deemed family unfriendly (including Tumblr's own announcement of said ban) before quietly fading away as evident by the sizeable amount of porn and fuckbots that still exist on this thing. The only thing that was actually changed was a bunch of people panicked about a team that couldn't ban the word fuck from Sesame Street to protect their nutsacks and proceeded to jump ship onto other platforms. Which ironically made it so the one accomplishment that Tumblr had to it's name, the 'biggest cesspool on the internet outside of Kiwifarms and /pol/', was claimed by literally every other mainstream motherfucker on the planet.

You'd think that would mean Tumblr would become the most tolerable platform we got...if not for the updates making everything more and more unappealing while managing to do nothing noteworthy. Sure the word limits that gut fanfics and the shitty loading of images can be funny for a while but you adapt so quickly to these they just become background noise to the userbase while new users get off put and quickly swallow shit somewhere else, especially when you realize it still has the same fucking death threats and blocking culture literally everyone else has too so why bother?

To say Tumblr is a hellsite would be giving it too much credit because Hell can accomplish something. This place is an empty circus tent where you can down some shrooms and pretend there's some clowns until you adapt and realize you're only here because you can't be bothered to leave.

Nah, considering a certain Ruler’s recent reveal, I think I’ll talk about a certain Shirou-face.

So quick overview of Angra Mainju-

He’s not actually the Zoroastrian god of Evil. No, he’s actually more like Sasaki Kojiro- The guy who the myth of Angra Mainju is BASED off of. He was just some ordinary villager who drew the shortest of straws and was used as a scapegoat for the sins of his villagers, tortured for decades until he died of old age. Because of this, he has a pretty nasty hatred of humanity. Which you would think would disqualify him from being a Heroic Spirit (I mean, logically who would consider him a hero?) but it’s said that his torture put the villagers at ease, meaning he did technically do a heroic deed and thus was preserved by the Throne of Heroes.

In the Third Holy Grail War, the Einsberns tried to summon the evil god but, for a multitude of reasons that include it not existing in the first place, they got him instead. Problem? The guy isn’t a normal hero, he’s a village boy who got tortured. He doesn’t have any special powers or even a proper Noble Phantasm. So of course, he gets his ass kicked. But thing is, he was so weak the Grail thought he was a human and thus tried to grant his wish.

Which was to actually BECOME All The World’s Evil.

And so the Grail tried to do it...but things got fucky. So the next two wars are basically just attempts at bring his wish to life. He...kind of exists here? Issue is that in Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night, Angra Mainju is more a force of nature or a being of pure evil rather than the tortured village boy he actually is. So for simplicity’s sake AND due to how radically different ‘All The World’s Evil’ is- I’ll just skip over his supposed presence in those two and move on.

Despite his wished for form’s destruction in Fate/Stay Night, Angra Mainju survived. In fact, his time as “All The World’s Evil” turned him into a proper Heroic Spirit, giving him an actual Noble Phantasm and actual status as a Heroic Spirit. Here, he gains a sort of obsession with granting wishes. So he goes around looking for someone’s wish to grant. During this time, he finds Bazett Frega McRemitz (AKA The ACTUAL Master of Cu Chulanin before Kirei decided to do what he does best: Fuck people over) dying, wishing not to die. And thus, Angra Mainju does his best to keep her alive. For 6 months, this meant keeping her alive but in a vegetative state.

After being discovered by Caren Hortensia (Kirei’s daughter. ... This is kind of important later), this meant keeping her alive AND sustaining her consciousness. To do this, he creates Fate/Hollow Ataraxia’s four day loop (the same length of time he survived his war.) Through this, he tricks Bazett into thinking that she’s participating in the Fifth Holy Grail War. Issue being, Angra knows little more than jackshit about said war so what ends up happening is that he uses the Third Grail War structure with Fifth Grail War players as stand-ins. He is also only active with Bazett at night, the catch being that the person that the player thinks they’re controlling (Shirou) is actually an unaware Angra, living out his own wish of a normal life.

At first, Angra is just being selfish and indulging himself during this time. However, over time, his interactions with the people in Shirou’s life, Shirou’s own influence over him (as having lost his identity, he effectively needs to adopt another’s to exist) and, most importantly, his new found relationship with Bazett and Caren causes him to try and end the four day loop. This going against his Master’s wishes, as she fears that she will die due to finding out about the loop and losing Avenger, who is assumed to become nothing once again. However, he manages to convince her by revealing he really did save her life and that she had to move on. So at the end, he and Bazett race to opposite ends of the Grail, Bazett back to life and Angra Mainju embracing oblivion once again.

So...yeah. Pretty heavy stuff even with me skipping some stuff.

We only really learn about Angra Mainju in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia, since that’s where we truly meet him as a person. And at the beginning...he’s not a good person. Avengers in general are known for being highly destructive, malicious and dangerous Servants because their Class effectively puts them on edge at all times, constant consumed by hate. As the first Avenger, Angra both embodies this and subverts it at the same time.

Yes he is consumed by hate. ... But said hate is not an emotional state like other Avengers. His hate is his nature by the point we meet him. Meaning he isn’t on edge like his fellows, he isn’t clouded by extreme emotion. For all his cynicism and malice, he’s by far the calmest and most rational Avenger we have seen so far. Which makes some of his actions (like killing a family to draw out his enemies) come across as even worse than normal since he isn’t openly insane. Even beyond this, Angra is a sarcastic asshole who loves fucking with people and being insulting.

However, as things go on, as he lives the life of Shirou Emiya and the Servant of Bazett, he gets better. Sure, he’s still rude as all hell. But the guy does show he cares about Bazett and thinks about her well being. He falls in love with Caren, who does love him back (if you’re wondering how: I believe it’s implied Caren suffers from the same condition Kirei did in regards to empathy. So makes sense she’d love an embodiment of hate and vengence) and he did enjoy living as Shirou, revealing that beneath the hate that became his nature- He’s just a normal guy who got SEVERELY fucked over. Hell, when Medusa was on the verge of morphing into Gorgon, Angra walks by and talks to her. He gives her a speech on what it means to be a monster and ends up helping her prevent her transformation, even though having her become a monster would help him make people suffer (and maybe even someone who understands him, as Gorgon is an Avenger herself.)

Just as his lack of emotional distress makes his evil actions worse, it also means he’s capable of change and becoming good. He learns love and care despite having lived a life no one could even comprehend, forced into a Class that is more like a curse than an honor. Despite his hatred of humanity, he still believes in it somewhat. He adopts some of Shirou’s heroic traits through living his life. And at the very end, this jackass who started things off by killing random innocents...ends up making the ultimate sacrifice, one where he gains nothing but loses everything, where he really doesn’t want to do it...all because he came to care for Bazett.

I’ll admit, I sobbed at the end.

Now, Angra isn’t really used in any serious manner after this. He appears in the Accel/Zero and Christmas in the Underworld events...mostly as jokes. However, I would like to note his Bond 10 Craft Essence. These CEs are effectively summations of the characters themselves. For example, Mordred’s Bond 10 effectively sums up her identity issues. And Angra Mainju’s?

It’s all about how he was a necessary evil, his life taken from him, hatred burned into him...

...and how Caren, despite seeing it all, still loved him.

And the CEs effect? A Guts buff and the ability to hurt Beast class enemies in a way no other Servant can replicate.

In essence, that love gives him the ability to keep living (with his strongest skill KILLING him btw) and to more effectively protect the world. And considering how the Beasts are related to humanity, it might just be because that love made him human again.

In short, Angra Mainju is a person forced into a role, his nature overwritten by his torture, cursed by fate because of others, indulging in his role because it’s all he knows-

And yet, even he finds a way to become a better person. All culminating in a sacrifice that can only be described as ‘Heroic’.

He truly is a Heroic Spirit.

I think it’s more about how the narrative built them up rather than the actions.

The narrative made Tai out to be a guy who was struggling to put his life back together for the sake of his kids and had a definitively good relationship with all of them and would go to the sun and back for them. Then it turned out that not only did he drown himself in his work, but he also opted to garden instead of go with Yang to look for Ruby.

Notice how he tries to treat ‘struggling to put his life together and ‘drown himself in work’ as if they were happening in the same timespan, not, you know: one after the other. Dudeblade, you don’t get to rewrite the order of events to support your headcanon while arguing it to be truth.

And let’s honestly think about this for a second. Do we REALLY want yet ANOTHER character to the cast? I could give the same argument of ‘he’s suppose to teach at Signal’ but let’s address the actual reason why Taiyang can’t go with Yang: He serves no purpose. There is NOTHING for him to do as Yang’s issues need to be dealt with by Yang, Ruby is closer to Qrow, we already have Qrow as the tragic member of proto-Team RWBY. We already have issues between Oscar and Jaune, we don’t need ANOTHER fight for screentime. So the question is: Do you want Taiyang to eat up screentime, especially considering your hatred of him is because of your issues with your mom, or can we just accept the excuse since it makes sense AND prevents more writing problems?

Willow, on the other hand, was made out to be neglectful at best, or abusive at worst. Since she got married to Jacques and ended up being an alcoholic, she was indeed made out to be neglectful.

No, that’s RAVEN.

Willow is portrayed as a victim who incidentally caused issues with Weiss, since her being an alcoholic is DIRECTLY related to Jacques using her. And by your rules, that means she should be attacked.

And Raven was made out to be a bitch.

You know Dudeblade, you’d be more convincing if you didn’t have a history of trying to portray Raven as basically being Summer or trying to downplay her abuse while completely rewriting canon to demonize Taiyang.

TL;DR: Willow and Raven fulfill what their characters were made out to be, Tai was not. Which is why he gets demonized while Raven and Willow do not.

Except by your own rules: Willow isn‘t fulfilling her character.

Taiyang: Gave not one, not two but THREE speeches about how great Yang is while using moping as a way of empahsizing how little her depression is in comparison to her while raising her alone for over a decade and even trying to make Raven look good to Yang despite all the damage she caused not just to him but Yang and Qrow as well.

THAT is what you are comparing.

And Port and Oobleck are right...why again? Also refer to my previous argument about this.

But let’s give the benefit of the doubt here. let’s say that Taiyang wasn’t teaching because he was taking care of Yang. Then why does the narrative choose to show him gardening instead of teaching or defending Vale/Patch?- That was a choice on the narrative to show him gardening instead of teaching or clearing out grimm. Which means that either a) Taiyang wasn’t teaching at the moment (In which case, that needed to be better conveyed to the audience), or b) that Taiyang is slacking off.

Because the narrative needs to show Taiyang noticing the feather of Raven in order to communicate that he knows she’s there. It also gives us some insight into what he actually thinks of Raven (seeing as he looks miserable at the sight), connects Raven to the home in Patch (which itself acts as the grounds where the family lives) and makes Raven more pitiable (The ONE person left who might have accepted Raven is visibly miserable at her arrival? That’s pretty fucking sad even for Raven.)

Also, what canon evidence do you have that Taiyang is absolutely needed to teach at Signal? What evidence do you have for Taiyang even teaching at all?- That’s all your headcanon.

Incorrect. Fallacy fallacy implies that my conclusion to the fallacy is that he is wrong.

But if you take a look at what I said:

Here we seen an example of the person attacking the person and not the argument which is known as â€œAd Homininâ€ while using loaded words to sway public opinion to their side known as â€œManipulative languageâ€. Not even a paragraph in and the person has already shown an inability to even debate properly.

The two are clearly different from each other because the second is about disproving an argument a nd the other is about showing the fallacies in it because the first is a judgement about a subjective look at OP’s arguments when in reality, there is no way to get an objective view because even asking OP could result in them giving a biased answer. You are dismissing my arguments simply because of what you assume my motive is. And while this does look like a fallacy fallacy: Look at the above and tell me where an argument pertaining to my arguments outside of their motive exists.

The answer is: nowhere. There entire paragraph here is an argument about my motive and not my argument. It basically boils down to “Since KOB has a motive against the RWDE tag, then his entire argument is invalid!” with no other arguments.

And while this might be worth looking into if my entire post was about the RWDE tag: it’s not. In fact, I only refer to a group ONCE.

I do declare: Shouldnâ€™t that line of reasoning apply to the entirety of the group you are defending? They exhibit the exact same behavior as you accuse the OP and unlike the OP, the group here has a history of lying and attacking and is widely regarded as the worst of this here fandom. So perhaps you should heed your own advice?

And the fact of the matter is: Tis only tangently connects to the RWDE tag. People who think that the show belongs to them, in the RWDE tag or not, are in fact the worst people in the fandom. It doesn’t matter if they like RWDE, hate it or is even knowledgeable about them: Because of their tendency to force their opinions on other people as well as their massive hostility and entitlement makes them the worst of the fandom. RWDE has this aspect but they don’t have sole ownership of it.

This argument doesn’t even connect directly to RWDE nor is there any evidence I was referring to rwde. This is just about arguing a supposed motive to dismiss my arguments without addressing them. And while I may do it and I will work on that, that doesn’t give them the right to do it. Just means we’re both wrong.

Three in one in fact: “Poisoning the well” (The points about the “alt-right” sources when they give one example playing of people’s hatred of Trump when in fact there is no proof that said adviser approved anything viewed as alt-right Trump has done), “moving the goalposts” (The entire first part of the post) and “Ad Hominin” ( the first ahlf of the post, and pounts 2 and 4.) Within these are the three uses of fact manipulation by RWDE: Lie, Cheat and Misinform. (Lie: Saying that I made transphobic statements in the link, talking about a post that “humanizes” Hitler when actually it was showing he just did stuff normal people did, doing nothing about his crimes, Saying that I was talking about queer peopelw hen my posts were about people who obsess over headcanons to the point that’s all they talk about. Cheat: not reblogging this directly as to manipulate the facts more easily as well as calling all my sources as alt-right simple because one person advised Trump and not showing how they acted alt-right, let alone showing how the other sources were “alt-right.” Misinform: Talking about how I was defending pedophiles when I was actually defending media and saying that the people (AKA the pedophiles) should be the ones punished and locked away, not the media itself.)

All you should take from this that out of about 15 points, only two even remotely pertain to the original two posts. For the math, they spent 86.7% of the post attacking me instead of addressing the points I original made. That is how little is actually here. Now this isn’t for my benefits: I could go in depth and totally deconstruct

So let’s address the actual points shall we?

1. You admittedly didnâ€™t become a fan of the show until after Monty died. You donâ€™t know what M&K or other members of the RT crew have or have not historically said and done. Youâ€™re completely unaware of the various developments the fandom as a whole has gone through, both purely as a fandom and in our relationship with the creators. Why you think you can know everything that has gone on and is going on in the fandom is anyoneâ€™s guess.

Research. I’ve asked people and looked back through the history of fandom as well as drawn upon long term fans of the show to see what was going on. I know for a fact that the LGBT character was never promised in a specific volume. I can also show that Miles, the one accused of being egotistical the most, has shown modesty and humility, thus disproving or at least casting very severe the whole argument about RT being egoistical isn’t true.

3. Every bit of criticism weâ€™ve given, even in the beginning has been met with a handwave and then was ignored. From the queerbaity â€œJust wait for it, it needs to feel earned, it needs to be natural.â€ to the pretty racist â€œHereâ€™s some more poc characters, one is a villain and a few are heroes but it wonâ€™t matter because none of them will get any lines after thisâ€ to the white fang plotline which is a complete dumpster fire - though there are others who have covered that better and more in depth than I have. Also, if you have any proof that Miles is actually listening and implementing things because of criticism, I would like to see that.

A. That is limiting their creative freedom and freedom should never be waved for anything aside from physical harm.

B. That is racist thinking that because a racial minority is villain means it’s racist, especially since 1. not every person who fails under your generalization as a few of people who fit under that classification have called you out and numerous others have not aid a word against it thus it comes across as “these people don’t count because they don’t fit the mold I think they should fit” and 2. Thinking that racial minorities can’t play any role other than the “perfect, can do no worn, center of attention” hero and thus preventing them from being realistic and good. Also, POC stands for Peoplel of Color. Which is Colored People backwards, the same title that these groups were getting called back in the days of blatant racism. Good job there.

C. Jaune Arc getting less and less focus with each Volume. he went from having an arc in Volume 1 to sharingan arc with Pyrrha and Blake in Volume 2 to being a plot/angst device in Volume 3 to being built up only to have Jaune push away all of his build up to make Ruby look good in Volume 4. You all just refuse to acknowledge it and focus solely on him, which ironically makes you all sexist by your own logic.

The fact that only two points of yours, 13.3% of your post, is actually about addressing my points and the rets is trying to attack me personally shows how little you actually have against me. And what little you have is easily debunked.

You claim that I am a pedo apologizer but judging by your arguments, what you actually mean is “Um...I have nothing to actually so....PEDOPHILE!” which is an example of Godwin’s law which states that when you use a universal insult against someone, you’ve pretty much consceded the argument. In fact, it should have ended the minute you called me alt-right AKA a Neo Nazi, showing that you just keep trying lob more and more labels onto me because I disagree with you and you can’t prove me wrong. Just as I have said in the past.
